Called Copart to ask can I come to preview the truck, they told me I can without appoitment. Came there and they told me there is no possibility for me to see the truck at all, drove 2 hours for this.
I picked up a truck from this location.The process was not very hard. But I recommend that you call ahead to let them know that you're coming to pick up a truck if you are a driveway truck driver so that they will have the keys ready. ( The keys for the truck I was picking up were misplaced. But they did eventually find them) Also, there is no public restroom. So if you have a lengthy wait like I did, please be aware that there is no public restroom. However, the staff was nice and friendly and did what they could to accommodate me. I truly appreciate all of their help and their lightheartedness in helping me get through the situation.
The people that work here, inside and outside, they are very nice people. However, business is business, don’t trust anybody.
Fully inspect what you want to purchase before you make the purchase.
I can’t stress enough to inspect it yourself.
“Runs and drives “ can be a major problem if you’re planning on actually driving it away. And even if it says in their notes the specific problem, as a buyer, they will not tell you. So, chances are, regardless of whether or not it says “runs and drives” you’re going to need a truck and trailer.
If you’re going to have a security system to protect your assets, please make sure that it doesn’t keep going off at night every night for weeks on end with no staff to shut it off. You’re really pissing off the neighborhood.
