I trust Casey with my vehicle. They tell me when something should be covered under warranty, and are very honest about what service my car needs and doesn’t need. Very fair pricing and friendly service.
Normally I have gotten great service here. But, I was shocked when I brought by Truck in for the AC not working properly. I was charged $150.00 for a diagnostic and they wanted an addition $600.00 to recharge the AC system. The car dealership was charging $350.00 total for the same service.
This is an update on my last post. I have purchased a certified preowned car. Sean helped me negotiate the price on this car a I had put significant money into the last car - and it was totaled in an accident. Sean documented expenses I had in the old car which helped me get a better price.
He also inspected the new car to verify that it was I good condition and that I had a good price.
I had the”new” car in for a tune up now and everything was still in good shape. I had an oil change, cabin filter replaced and other customary services as well as the electrical system he led. All well - and the charges for this work was more than fair. Sean, Joe and other staff members are always courteous, keep me informed. I am very comfortable driving this car and know that I am safe in it. Once again, I would never go anywhere else,
We’ve trusted Casey Automotive with our cars for several years. Yesterday, like on previous occasions, they completed the requested routine maintenance then suggested legitimate preventative maintenance items. They don’t push it or scare you into other expenses but merely make recommendations and advise. They sometimes have coupons to help with the cost, too.
I booked an appointment for my car at 8:30 am and they told me I would get it back by the end of the day, and I confirmed it with someone on the phone while my car was left there. However when I called again at 5pm they said they wouldn’t be able to start working on my car until 2pm the next day. Very frustrating as they don’t provide loaner cars either, if I set an appointment I should be guaranteed to get my car back in a timely manner. Otherwise don’t overbook with appointments! Very frustrating, I ended up not getting my car serviced here.
Very insulting experience from guest service agent. I made an appointment for an oil change at 7:30a, which is the earliest option. When I dropped off my vehicle, I asked if they thought it could be completed by the end of the day, and he said he wasn’t sure. I asked if it would be possible to call me if it wasn’t going to be completed within the day, and the employee raised his voice pointed his finger at me, and said I would need to call in because I had 1 car to worry about and he had 45 cars he was responsible for. I understand the issue of having many cars to respond to, but why take an appointment for a 7:30a oil change and get upset asking if it can be completed same day.
I have been going to Casey’s for years. There is not anyone other than Casey’s I trust with my cars, they are very honest and trustworthy and always go out of their way for the customer.
The Arlington Heights location inspected everything on my car besides changing the oil. They discovered a leaking rear axle and advised me to take it to the dealer because it should be covered under warranty, and it was!! I appreciate their honesty and thorough service
This was just a scheduled service trip and as usual it was handled efficiently and friendly. Casey has been taking care of my auto needs for 10 plus years; I’ve never been disappointed. Sean and his crews are the best!!.
I have always had the best of service from Casey's. Sean and Joe are always helpful. I won't go anywhere else for my auto repairs. When I see cars all around the place, that is testament to their great service.

We have been taking our cars here for years. They have been upfront, helpful, identified when another places work needed to be redone, and helped us identify the timing of getting rid of our car to buy a new one. We had a communication issue yesterday. The gentleman that helped us resolve the issue was intent on not letting me walk out the door until I was satisfied. Good customer service goes beyond doing the job well. Seeing the customer as a human and being flexible to ensure that everyone feels like equals in the situation is key. Thank you for taking care of our cars and standing behind your work.
I had an amazing experience with Casey Automotive! Paul took care of me and he said that my car overheat light coming on was due to my radiator being clogged. I authorized the radiator and hoses replacement and they were very fair with their pricing. Paul was able to get me an additional discount which was a nice surprise when I picked up my car! And he sent a technician to pick me up to get my car since I didn’t have a ride there on that day. I had a top notch experience and I’ll definitely go back to Casey for my automotive needs!
I wish I could give a negative star rating. I am a disabled person and on 04/23/2025 I made one of the worst mistakes of my life. I brought my 2007 Dodge Ram Pickup Truck with a brand new engine that had only 16,000 miles on it, in for an oil change to this establishment. It took an hour for a scheduled oil change and when I drove off, after a few miles on the same day, my truck started smoking out the exhaust and running very poorly even though I had only driven a few miles. I turned around and went back to Caseys. I showed the person who said they were the manager what happened. When they checked the oil level IT WAS EXTREMELY OVERFILLED! IT HAD AT LEAST 12 QUARTS OF OIL WHEN THE DIP STICK WAS CHECKED. The manager told me to leave the truck for the day and they would repair it at no cost. I was told they drained the oil out and refilled it to the correct level. By then it was too late, damage was done. THE EXCESSIVE OIL DROWNED THE ENGINE. THE OIL WENT THROUGH THE BYPASS TUBE AND BACK DOWN THE INTAKE AND BURNED OUT THE EXHAUST. THIS CAUSED CATASTROPHIC INTERNAL DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE SENSORS, CATALYTIC CONVERTER, AND ENGINE GASKETS. In short, it completely destroyed my engine and other systems in the truck. When Casey's realized the extent of the damage after the few small repairs they attempted, they told me they would no longer work on the truck, attempt to repair it back to its condition that it was when it was brought in, or compensate me in anyway for my loss of vehicle. To this day as I post this they still refuse to do anything to compensate me. I hope no one else experiences the horrible ordeal I have gone through.
I normally go to the Palatine location which I love for my 3 cars (5 stars to them). I saw appointment openings for the Arlington Heights location so wanted to give them a try. I needed an oil change, and due to age of the car coolant and brake fluid flushes were overdue according to the manufacturer and were required. My appointment was at 11:30, which should have allowed time for everything. The service advisor greeting was gruff and dismissive, stating the appointment is only for a drop off slot and doesn't guarantee work can be completed today. He focused only on the oil change, not wanting to speak about my other maintenance concerns, simply stating that the technician would do an inspection and call me back. As of 5:25 I heard nothing, so called, knowing they close at 6PM. They stated the technician was finishing the oil change and everything looked good. There was no time or opportunity to take care of everything I felt was needed. More attention to customer service listening is needed at this location. I'll return to Palatine the next visit to get everything addressed more thoroughly.
Casey's did an inspection of a used car we wanted to buy for no charge. They performed the needed repairs quickly after we purchased the car. We've been satisfied customers for over 25 years.

I was having issues with the ride quality of my Mazda. Sean Kinney spent 45 minutes analyzing the problem and possible solutions. We corrected the issue by changing to tires that offered a much superior ride.
I didn't plan to go to Casey automotive, but my car broke down on rand road, and I pulled in a parking lot. incidentally it was across the Casey automotive. I left my car for two nights in the parking lot, and later called the Casey's. They asked me to bring the car to them. They took some time to check my car, and sent me an estimate.
I spoke with Shawn, Joe, and another gentleman at different times. They all were great explaining me about the different repair my car needed. Nonetheless, I asked for some discount and it was honored too.
I believe, all repairs are done as described.
My car runs good now. Except I noticed some grinding noise on starting. Not a big deal. I am sure they will check it, and rectify.
Casey automotive will be my one stop mechanic shop now, for all the repairs, minor to major. It was a great no hassle and clean experience with the Casey automotive.

Took my truck to see Sean at Casey’s Automotive for an oil change, I have to say hands down Sean and his team are top notch. While my truck was in the shop Sean and his team gave my truck a once over only to find many issues that I was unaware of. Sean took it upon himself to make sure my truck was road ready and safe without breaking the bank!
