Had a flat tire late at night and towed us to a Walmart Auto. Gave us all the details about when they opened, hotel information if we needed it. Very friendly.
This towing company could not help when I needed. It was Sunday, after a storm. They were honest and said it would take over an hour and half. They helped with a suggestion of another option. We went with other option. However when they did free up, they did call to check on us and asked if we got help and if we were safe and warm. Thank you! ?

Outstanding! Traveling across midwest with travel trailer, wifeand pets. Truck failed to start. Shanes towing came out within 20 min. Jump failed, they diagnosed the issue had me going in about 15 min. Thanks great service

July 11th, 2025. daughter locked keys in car. officer came first, couldn't get it. Shanes Towing came within half hour and had car door opened within 10 seconds. popped it right opened!! very nice nice guy and quick!! cheap too! Will definentlt keep his business card!!! Thank You kind sir!
This service was a lifesaver for us on a roadtrip with unexpected car problems. Don was very responsive and helpful. He came quickly and took us, as well as our car, to a dealership over an hour away. He went above and beyond, after dropping off the car, by dropping us off on his own time to a car rental. Without his service and kindness, we would have been lost.
This was the second time I needed help from Shane's towing service and both times they have been wonderful. This time he came from Princeton to basically Rock Falls to assist when another tow service left me stranded due to their tow truck breaking down. I can't thank him enough for helping us out.

Shane's Towing responded promptly to our roadside breakdown. The staff was so helpful and kind. They're knowledgeable about the area, and went the extra mile to be sure we were safe, and taken care of.
My car was stranded on the side of the road as it was getting dark. I tried 2 other towing businesses before I called Shane. Even though it was after hours (8:00), he answered my call and towed my car right away. The fee was pretty reasonable.
Shane was fast to answer and get to me and my family early on a Saturday morning. He literally did everything you'd expect your best friend to do and more. He even let my kids mess around with controls ? nobody wants to need a tow, but if you're around princeton, you won't regret calling Shane!
Shane saved us! My family and I got stranded on the highway, and I called ONSTAR and they wanted to charge me and arm and leg and a two hour wait so I googled and came across Shane’s Towing, I called and he was there in 10 minutes and the price was very reasonable and much cheaper than AAA/onstar. Very professional. Thank you.
On 5/19/2024 I blew out a tire on the side of the interstate. I have AAA so I called them, they told me it would be a 3-4 hour wait while I sat on the side of a busy interstate. I called the number for Shane and he pulled up within MINUTES and helped me find out my brand new jeep didn’t have a spare tire? SO WEIRD NEW VEHICLES DIDNT COME PREPARED. So this fella scooped up myself and my 2 other friends, towed my car to Walmart and I had a new tire on and rolling within a hour. I am from out of state so this man literally saved me from sitting for hours unsafe while it was about to become dark. 5 stars doesn’t do anything for home much this fella did. Thanks for ensuring I could get home safe to my daughter!
We were traveling from out of state when our tire blew on the interstate and AAA was going to take hours to get to us.. but Shane swooped in and saved the day!! He found us quickly, and went above and beyond for us. We thought we only needed a donut put on but we ended up not having a donut once he got there and he was SO very nice to tow our vehicle to the closest tire shop and even gave us a ride. If I could give him 100 stars I would!! THANK YOU SO MUCH SHANE!!!
We broke down today on our way from Iowa City to Erie, Pa and Shane sent his dad to pick us up. He arrived within 25 minutes of our call and took us to a repair shop to have it checked out and then took us to a dealership. Very courteous, kind and helpful! Shane is truly remarkable! We had an unfortunate incident where our Audi hit an object on the road, causing our tire to blow out a mile later. Luckily, Shane was there to lend a hand, despite just returning from a long 15-hour road trip.

My car broke down at the I-80 Eastbound rest stop near Wyanet in the middle of the night. Shane's came out right away and towed me to the nearby Chevy dealer. Not only was he extremely nice but he also recommended the dealer as a towing location (which turned out great cause they were able to fix my car the next day) and he recommended a hotel. Very polite, professional, and prompt. I definitely recommend for anyone, especially those passing through who need help.

Shane's towing was awesome today, went out of his way to help my son who was broken down when he was out of town. My son got a flat, and couldn't remember where the car was since he was on a camping trip and had no idea where he was. The tow truck drive graciously and patiently help him find it and helped him cut the lock (that my son lost the key) for the spare tire. And he changed the tire. Called us for an update. Was a great experience working with Shane's towing. Thank you very much for your help!!!

Shane did a good job for us, we needed a rollback to move a truck that just got painted, and needed to be taken to a place to get expel put on it. He was ready, and available.
