Sold me an engine with a bad lifter. Then he blamed the mechanic for the bad lifter even though my mechanic did not do anything to the engine. Refused to accept the engine back and give me a refund even though he said it had warranty.
Said the engine only had around 140,000 miles but after everything my mechanic opened up the engine and it was very clear that the engine had more miles than I was originally told and in very bad condition. They will lie and sell you bad parts and refuse to refund you. Do not trust them.
These guys fixed the starter in my car. When I got my car back from them there was paw prints from the animals that run around their yard, my windows weren’t rolled up on my car the whole time they had it, I have a big dent in the side of my car that wasn’t there when they picked it up. I brought it to his attention with pictures and he told me that it wasn’t the same car… he is completely unprofessional, he was the one that sold me the car in the first place… he told me that he would treat me good if I needed anything after… I asked them to fix the front blinkers, I asked for them to replace the headlights that I had purchased, I asked for the speaker wires to be looked at because the stereo doesn’t work, and I also asked for him to fix the cruise control on my car… all of those weren’t working when I purchased the vehicle . He didn’t even look at them.
John and his mechanic really saved my butt with a very reasonable price on a transmission and installation. Good guys, both of them. Pleasant to talk to as well. Can't recommend them enough.
Called for a used part and though they didn't have a match, I could tell from the short interaction that they strive to be of help whenever possible here.
John and his staff were so kind and helpful after towing my car after an accident. They checked the damage quickly and thoroughly and went above and beyond, calling multiple places about parts, repairs, and rental cars to help get me back on the road as quickly as possible. They were incredibly welcoming and kind - I highly recommend!!
My car broke down and this was the closest shop. It seemed like everything was going to go well, my alternator just needed replaced. When I got my car back I drove the 3 hrs back to my house without ac. I was told they had issues with my hood, which I’ve never had issues with before. When I got back to my place my car had died. I couldn’t open my hood to jump my car. Come to find out my battery wasn’t tightened down all of the way, the cord to open my hood was completely stripped, my oil filter was loose, the shop had also stated they had issues with my radiator which I’ve once again never had issues with. All of these problems had all the sudden emerged after my car was taken to this shop. I would not recommend going here.
My car broke down and John and his boys came as fast as they could. After figuring out the problem they let me stay and wait for my ride and then when it was time to close he took me over to a gas station to wait there for my ride. Awesome guys, they care a lot about there customer and go out of there way to make sure you’re safe!! Would recommend to anyone in that area!
At John's you can find yourself getting good Auto repairing if you need to be towed he's got a tow service put a big plus if you need parts from a vehicle he's parting out fast his crew members will get your part for you fast friendly with a big smile I couldn't be happier getting my tow mirrors from John's Auto!

John is an awesome guy. Our motor home broke down on the freeway leaving us stranded. His son gave us a ride to the hotel and John called the hotel ahead to get us deal. Hopefully he’s able to get our motor home running as well as he provides service.
Broke down with loaded horse trailer passing through town... within two minutes of call he towed us to shop. Ordered parts from Napa that arrived before we pulled in to shop. Just over an hour, serpentine belt, idler and tensioner pulleys replaced, gave us old as back up. Totally fair price and we were back on the road. Definitely saved the day.
I was traveling alone from Montana to Nevada with my dog, a loaded truck and horse trailer when my serpentine belt and some idlers pulleys gave up on the interstate and stranded me. I called around and everyone told me they couldn’t help but to call John...so I did! John was awesome he came out within 40 minutes with all the parts....yes he came to me!! He assessed the problems and had my truck fixed, running and checked thoroughly in under an hour! Great guy, great service and a great price!! I told him he was a rockstar and I meant it!! Definitely give him a call for all your vehicle needs! Thanks John because of you we all made it safe to Nevada!
I pulled off in Pocatello with my rig overheating. Johns place was close. I pulled in, he stopped what he was working on, and checked out my rig. Blown head gasket and leaking water pump. We talked about options. He helped me fill up the radiator. I decided to limp the old beast all the way home to Montana. It didn’t want to start so John ran and grabbed some starter fluid, threw in a couple jugs of water and wished me luck. I don’t leave reviews but John really helped me out. Easy going and willing to help. Thanks John, and yes, I barely made it home😆
Don't buy anything here! The owner of this company sold us a used engine on 12/9/16 that he guaranteed the condition of and when our mechanic inspected the engine it is not in sound mechanical condition. The owner told us he would refund our money and return our engine core but it is now 2 months later and he is still not honoring his word. He keeps making excuses for why he can't arrange a time for us to drive 7 hours to return engine and get our money back. We even offered to drive there and plow the snow out of the way that he claims is blocking our engine core from being accessed. Very unprofessional demeanor.
