We were in there for about an hour, and the young feller took her truck for a drive and he looked over our truck and took pictures of it and got the information of it very polite very accurate. Very nice young man and he sent it in and then they did their estimate on it and we came out with a very pleasant amount. The truck was an awesome good shape it was like brand new only had 31,000 miles on it And they were very polite. Very nice very helpful and they got it done within about an hour hour and a half tops. I would like to thank them for the time that they spent with us and helping us out it was painless and accurate and thank you very much.

They really are nice people and they can be trusted as people, but don’t trust their cars. I’m telling you right now, no matter how many positive reviews you see, there shouldn’t be this many negative. My car I was looking at for weeks, got a check engine light at 18,000 miles right before I could test drive it. They buy shady cars on the cheap, and sell them as “great” cars.

Easiest car trade-in and purchase of a new-to-me car I’ve ever had. A minor issue has come up with the car (a broken visor) and they’re taking care of it with no hassles. I will never buy from a dealership again.

Non Commissioned Sales People make the entire process super easy. Found six cars on line, narrowed it down to two. made an appointment and once there, was greeted by my assigned sales person. I had decided by the time I was there on one of the two cars. I took my test drive and paid my deposit to hold it. Came home called my Credit Union, for validation as i had been pre approved, picked up the check the next morning and took it to them to pick up the car. Different Sales person but still easy to deal with and processed with no problem

Sold them a car. Everything worked as expected. That means they pay below trade-in value. Basically they are purchasing low enough to later sell the car at auction and still clear a profit. But I don't have to hassle with selling the car myself. We did the online offer and they paid us their full offer amount.

I had a really positive experience buying a car here! It was a simple process, beginning to end. I found a car I loved and ended up buying it that day for a really great price. They gave me a fair value for my trade in as well, more than I was expecting. I had to leave to pick up my kids halfway through the process and they were so accommodating for that. Aaron finished up everything for me when I got back. He did a terrific job explaining everything to me in a way I could understand, and made sure I knew Al my options and how to go about using the options should I choose to.

I was basically sold a bunch of issues with my car. I would not recommend buying from them. The car was fine the first month and a half and then started to literally die while I was driving on the interstate. Warranty covered some of the issues the first time around then the second time not so much. I sent in and spoke with people about an appeal and what they can do to help with zero response back.

Ms. Race was our representative today.When we sold our car, she was professional and courteous and very kind to us.We were very impressed with carmax. Our representative also was training a young lady and she was very patient with her and made the whole thing very nice and easy on everybody.

Due to Carmax’s supposed commitment to only selling the best cars, i paid to have a vehicle transported to my local dealership. It was advertised in perfect mechanical condition with a perfect 120 point inspection and history. It was low miles and priced several thousand above KBB value, but with all of Carmax’s garuntees, it seemed ok to pay a bit higher to do business through them for peace of mind in receiving a top notch vehicle. When the vehicle arrived, they let me know the check engine light was on and was most likely already on when put on the Transport vehicle. They could not figure out the code and gave me the option to not take possession of the vehicle and refund the transport fee, or recommended for me to pay another dealership to do a secondary inspection if i wanted to keep the vehicle. I decided I would prefer to take the refund and not have to deal with other inspections to diagnose the issue or have it return in the future, and as it was falsely advertised as having no issues. When i accepted the offer to refund my transport fee (almost ($2,000) because i did not feel comfortable with the vehicle arriving with a mechanical malfunction, Paul at carmax customer service out of Fort Collins, CO, who called me about the engine issue, then went back on the offer and said they could not refund the fee-that he misspoke. This is HORRIBLE customer service and fraud in advertising. I cannot trust this company to do business with any longer. The vehicle should never have been shipped with a check engine light on with no communication to the customer who was paying to transport the vehicle and trusting the company to be honest. I would never have agreed to pay almost $2,000 to have a vehicle moved dealerships with a known mechanical defect. BUYER BEWARE. This company talks a big game, but is a scam just like most other dealerships, unfortunately

Process was very simple to sell my car. There was no haggling over the online offer and no attempt to sell me a vehicle. Allison provided excellent customer service and outlined the process very well. I would look to Carmax again I was looking for a car.

I selected a car from another state. It was a tough model to find, so I waited until Carmax suggested the right one i spent $500 to have the right car brought to my locatiion, test drove it, bought it, love it. No salesman, just some paperwork. Carmax was great! Smart way to go!

I just wanted to take a minute and describe my experience at Meridian Carmax. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional. Initially I dealt with a gentleman named Sean while arranging for a test drive of my (new to me) Toyota Sienna and he made everything easy for us when we told them that we'd like to keep it for a 24 hour test drive. He had us set up and out the door in no time! We decided that we really liked the Sienna and I traded in my F150 which is where I dealt with Allison W-H. Allison was very thorough and informative throughout the entire process of trading in my F150 and purchasing the Sienna. She went over everything clearly and everything was very transparent which I appreciate. She was very friendly and honestly my fiance and I both enjoyed talking with her throughout the process. It really felt as though we were talking to a friend and not to a salesperson. At no point did we feel pressured to go one way or the other with the deal which is really unheard of when buying a car. So, all in all we had a fantastic experience at this Carmax location and wouldn't hesitate to come back the next time we need a vehicle. I spent approximately 3 hours with various call center reps jumping through hoops, answering questions, and uploading information-- all after my financing was approved in 5 minutes on a car I found (they call this something like an accelerated sale). I electronically signed the documents and had an appointment to sign the Idaho documents in person and leave the store with my new car. About 5 minutes after signing, I received a call from the guy I had been working with that I had to do a "traditional" appointment and be approved again at the store because he didn't like how my ADP paystub looked (ADP isn't on it but you can match the info to my bank statements). I had to spend another 3 hours doing this process again inside the store. I will not buy from Carmax again, nor recommend them.

If you could call and talk to the same person or the same city at least it would be way better. Once I finally connected with the people in my town and got the way to call them directly.I was much happier but even then I wasn't checked out by the same person. I was also promised one thing from a dealership in California.And then the dealership in my state said they were unable to do what I was promised. These 2 things were very frustrating. However, the team is so great even if the route to Customer Service Isn'T. I would absolutely 100%. Refer my friends to carmax.

Our overall experience was amazing. Liv and Megan were amazing. My only downside was the person that called us the day we came in to finance and do everything did not Something that he should of , again Megan and luv were amazing

This place was terrible. We entered in all of the information for a trade in on our truck. They gave us an offer. We drove 2 hours to take the truck in and upon arrival, they said that the aftermarket tires and wheels and the airbags we added to the truck reduced the price of our offer by $7500. What a waste of time. Please don't waste your time on this scam.

What a fun way to buy a new vehicle !! It was so easy to shop by ourselves and choose which one to test drive without a pesky salesman hanging around !! We traded in our old vehicles and they gave us a very fair price !! We will always buy at CarMax from now on !! Very very happy with the whole experience !!
