I was impressed with that Carmax and visited the one here when I needed a carmax Kia but they did not have what I was looking for. They were very kind as during the covid time some cars were just not available. If you want a good unedited car come to any Carmax.

CarMax made the purchase of my current vehicle efficient and painless. I was able to find what I wanted by searching make, model, etc. even down to trim and very specific features. I paid the shipping and then was able to track the car’s progress to my local lot. I had two phone calls during the process to explain the next steps. Payment and pickup were fast. I did not need financing, so I didn’t experience how that works. Based on the timely, upfront manner that I found and bought this car, I highly recommend CarMax.

I had a fantastic experience at CarMax, Meridian. When I saw a car I was interested in on their website, I drove down and was pleasantly surprised to be able to walk the lot and examine the unlocked car, both inside and out, undisturbed by any salesmen. I was able to reserve the car for a test drive online, giving me a couple days to prepare for a purchase without the anxiety of someone else buying the car before me. I’ve had a great experience with CarMax and each of the employees I’ve interacted with since my purchase. It was a smooth, no pressure buying experience. When I had some follow up items for my vehicle, everyone from the service department to the managers were thorough and quick to follow up with me. They went the extra mile for me and made me feel taken care of throughout the process. It can be difficult to find a dealer that will stand behind their vehicles and customer service, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Carmax to anyone.

Had 3 cars that I was interested in… all 3 had some big problems. Staff was hit or miss. I had some nice and knowledgeable sales people and then I had to deal with 2 others that had no business being on the sales floor helping customers. One young lady was a complete sourpuss and the other was just really untrained. The 2 helpful people at the store located off of Fairview were Joe and Taylor! They were great. But I still ended up buying else where.

First time buying at CarMax. I will start off by saying, the process to buy a car was extremely easy. I fact way too easy. By far the fastest! My issue is when I got my car at delivery. First, before I drove off the lot I noticed that the tire pressure was low. Turns out there was a nail in the tire. CarMax has us drive over to a tire shop to get it fixed. Then on the way back, I noticed that there were cracks in the windshield. Not just one but 3(manager did place an order for it to be fixed) Also, the car was unclean, coffee stains on the door. Chip crumbs in the car seats. I appreciate the fast process when it came to the paperwork but at the end of the day, it was a terrible experience because the constant issues we found after having the vehicle for less then 30 mins.

I started a car search here as my family as purchased from Car Max in another state and had a positive experience. I worked with Madison and she is outstanding and competent. Additionally, Madison was calm and persistent when my insurance company messed up with coverage documents. I highly recommend Car Max and Madison! Also, you can transfer a car from Utah with no or low charge from another Car Max and other states for a reasonable amount depending on the distance.

My wife bought a car here recently. After day 7 the car begun to sputter. We made an appointment to see service and they put us out at two weeks. We still drove the vehicle. On day 12, the vehicle totally died. I had to pay to have it towed home. Then the dealer said they wouldn't help with the towing cost and I had to tow it to them also. Then they became very rude and cancelled our service appointment and denied admission to their managers. A manager finally called back and tried to say it was our fault. Totally unprofessional. Buy somewhere else.

My experience purchasing a car through CarMax was excellent until the actual test drive. My car was shipped from Pleasanton, California to Boise, Idaho, where I went to the Carmax to test drive. The car was absolutely filthy, both inside and out. Very disappointing that the salesman told me “it’s fine“, we’ll drive it like this. I insisted it be washed before we drove it.Although my salesman was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable… The test drive was less than enjoyable because he had horrible body odor. Otherwise, his performance was top top-notch. I would expect if you’re trying to sell any vehicle, much less a $27,000 luxury vehicle… It would be cleaned and pretty and shiny the first time I saw it. Other than that… My experience with CarMax has been great.

Very poor quality control standards. I had a vehicle transferred from Reno which took 12 days. When the car arrived, I was excited to take it for a test drive. I arrived early and reception invited me to go look at the car. Upon inspection, there was what appeared to be a oily substance that had dripped all along the rear bumper. Being an optimist, I attempted to rub an area and the paint had been damaged by the oily substance. It is shocking to me that before a car is presented to a prospective buyer, it's not cleaned and washed. If it had, they would have found the issue on the back bumper. To their credit, they did issue me a refund of my transfer fee. However, I will never look at CarMax again for a car. Very, very disappointed.

Process in person approx 2.5 hours despite providing information ahead of time, and no trade in, no financing (full payment at pickup).

I gave them a check for $20,000 for a car that almost died on me on the interstate on the second day I had it, but they said it's going to take 7-10 days for a refund so I'll be just stuck without a vehicle in the meantime. I had bad spark plugs and the coolant was low. Their safety inspection is a joke. Would not recommend.

I took the 2021 Subaru Forester Premium for a test drive after I paid to have it brought down from Oregon. and had it checked out . All ok. After I returned it the person that was helping me was busy with another client., So Bianca went with me to the car and checked the inside and the spare tire compartment . It still needed a few things taken care of so Bianca said she will do a check list of all the things needed done. So I bought it. She went to the service Dept. and gave me the date to bring it back. I took it back to get it checked out and they had to order some parts . Now I had to bring it back. I feel like this should have already been taken care of before I was notified for the test drive. This was a lease car one owner . It did look like it had new tires. A big plus. All the things did get fixed. another plus. They did show me how to do a few things that I was confused on. I'm enjoying my new car. if I didn't have to keep bringing the car back for repairs, the rating would have been a 5.

Not impressed. I was really excited with the concept of shopping for a vehicle online then going into the dealership to test drive and purchase. However, my mom was interested in an SUV at Carmax and we unfortunately had a terrible experience. First off, we were made to wait almost 25 minutes after our scheduled appointment without anyone following up with us. We were sitting in the waiting area and could see the manager goofing off with other employees but never told how much longer we would be waiting. Once we were helped, we were disappointed to discover that the vehicle was filthy and reeked of cigarette smoke. When we mentioned that it smelled of cigarettes, the sales rep said "It must have been the previous owner." Which was odd... we didn't think it was one of them. But after her getting defensive it made us wonder if they had been smoking in it... The sales rep also wouldn't stop talking long enough for us to speak to one another for the entire test drive. If we already reviewed the vehicle online, why would she read off all the specs from the website instead of allowing us to enjoy our test drive? The air conditioning didn't work and she was oddly defensive about it. I finally had to ask her to please stop talking and made a mouth zipping gesture with my hand because my mom and I literally could not get a word in edgewise - to her or each other! After the test drive, she had the audacity to ask my mom if she was going to buy the car and purchase a warranty to fix the broken air conditioning. My mom, obviously, declined and we will not be going back to Carmax.
