I just want people to stop and read this. If you think you will drop your car off for an estimate hoping insurance will cover the costs, you are mistaken. I had 2 cars at the same time brought to them with instance claims. Both companies could not afford their unreasonable fees. My VW was taken apart more than it should’ve. They billed the insurance $3900 for teardown which they did not agree to, since insurance did not authorize them for that kind of tear down leaving me with $875 bill in order for me to take the car from them. They charged us $2570 for storage fees alone. Like many other reviews state, they do business unethically, and will keep your car as hostage until you pay their ridiculous amount of fees. My car had a quarter panel damage, they took half of the car apart. Total fraud!! See the pictures for yourself. One is the initial car damage and the other what they did for just an estimate. They tore my entire door panel for no reason, they tore the left headlight for no reason. This is just crazy. I’ve never seen anything like that in my life!
If you do take your car here, ask them about all the fees and specifically state that any teardown or repairs must be authorized by your adjuster in order for them to proceed.
I will be also filing DOI claim because this is ridiculous practice in the valley and must be stopped!

After being told everything was covered by insurance, when I went to pick up my car I was told I’d need to pay $2795 because the insurance didn’t cover it all, or show up with the accident report and names of all involved, it had to be in Idaho, and sign a form so they could go after the insurance. This is the second time we were shocked having to pay what was supposed to be covered.
Stay away from this place. I brought my car in for an estimate and they tried to overcharge me for ~$500 of completely unnecessary work, falsely (or cluelessly, not sure which is worse) trying to tell me otherwise. Apparently they thought i was a sucker and they could get away with it. No thanks. One of the most scammy shops i’ve dealt with.
Cope Collision was great to work with. The estimation process was efficient and fast. The technician kept me posted throughout the process, customer service was great and my vehicle looks great.
The worst possible company to take your car. If you hope to get your car fixed by your insurance, don't take it here. We started with a low estimate and after a week of finding new "things" we got notified that the car would be totalled out. The story goes on but at the end I took it to another location where I was quoted half the price for OEM. I know I'm not the first to go through this. Don't get scare by these people.

Needed to have a bumper replaced after a hit. Cope Collision made the whole process easy. They went above and beyond and will be my first choice for my car if I ever need repairs again. The daily updates from Chase reassured me that things were being taken care of, even when dealing with a frustrating third-party insurance. If you need your car repaired I highly recommend them.

I haven’t had my car wrecked recently so I haven’t used cope collision personally (I hope I never need to—lol) but if I did, I wouldn’t think twice about going to anyone else. Rick, the owner, has such integrity which is something that lacks in the automotive space. I trust these guys!!

I was recently rear ended, and I did not hesitate to use these guys to do the repair. They communicated really Well, with me every step of the way.
They even returned my car clean, and I was very impressed with that.

When asking for a quote to replace my front bumper grill, the gentleman says "he will not touch it" unless he can replace all parts that are imperfect that the grill touches (grill, spalsh guards, RADIATOR MOUNT, etc.). Ridiculous request. These guys only want to work with insurance companies . Not a place to go to just get something fixed out of pocket.
They are professional and do amazing work. I trust them completely and they were great to work with, especially Chase! He gave me daily updates and made himself available to answer all of my questions. I appreciated having a courtesy car while they fixed my Volvo!
While Cope Collision did an excellent job fixing my vehicle their front office e was unprofessional in working with me and my insurance company to reconcile their charges. I requested to talk to a manager and he/she didn’t have the respect to contact me to help with the process. I left multiple voice mails, emails and finally used their text function and they did not have the courtesy to contact me back. Chase told me three different times he submitted supplemental requests to my insurance which they did not receive. My insurance company had to finally get involved to reconcile which eventually proved to be relatively simple. If Cope’s front office would have picked up the phone and called this could have been resolved weeks ago. Beware of taking your vehicle here as they will want to hold it hostage to force higher payments from your insurance company and if you call to complain, they will ghost you.
We just got my car back after it was hit by another driver. The other parties insurance (Progressive) was almost impossible to deal with. Cope kept my husband updated daily about the repair progress. Once we dropped my car off, Cope took care of everything with Progressive, so we weren't having to deal with that hassle. My car looks amazing. I forgot my garage door opener in my rental and called Cope to see if they could grab it. It was waiting for me when I got back to the shop. They made a stressful situation so easy. We would definitely use them again!

I had an excellent experience with Cope Collision Center. They provided me daily updates on my vehicle and did the communication with the insurance company so I didn't have to deal with that at all. They are one of the only shops in town that is recommended by Mercedes and the level of service and quality of work definitely stood up to that high level of expectation.
The team at Cope Collision is friendly, helpful and they use this app that keeps you informed on the status of your vehicle. They also gave me a quote to fix our truck and when they were finishing up they found another broken piece fixed that and let me know the price they quoted was coming in lower than what they originally quoted me. My husband also dropped his credit card on the ground outside the truck. They found it and let us know they would keep it safe in their office until we returned to pick up the truck. So am I happy!! I was referred to Cope by my dealership for repair of a “situation” with my garage door. I quickly got an appointment for an estimate and Michael came out right on time to help me. After taking a look at the damage he was able to clean off most of the scrapes from the plastic. He clearly explained to me what would need to be done to restore the plastic piece to perfect. As it is a four year old car, based on the cost and how it looked, I decided not to proceed. I can’t say enough about how nice it was to have such an honest interaction. He took the time to give me both my options and to understand how they would work with my insurance. Thank YOU Michael and Cope.
This business is a total scam. We took our car there with an estimate in hand to repair the driver's side door for $2,100. They proceeded to tear the car completely apart and said it would cost over $8.000 to repair. At that point the insurance decided to total the car out due to the discrepancy in the estimates. Cope Collision refused to put the car back together and our only option was to tow it and take it to a salvage yard. Our car was a Toyota 4-Runner and according to our insurance agent this happens a lot with these cars because body shops can sell the parts individually for a lot of money. Cope Collision is an unethical business taking advantage of its customers.
We’ve had our vehicles repaired by Cope Collision several times and they never disappoint. I’m OCD so the daily texts we receive from them giving the status of our vehicles is super helpful.
