Great buyer's experience here at Mascot Auto Parts, the front desk staff was knowledgeable and very helpful in picking out the part I needed. I was able to pick up the part in stock on the same day for a reasonable price, and the warehouse staff even took it out of the packaging so I could inspect it before leaving. Highly recommend checking them out before any other store!
Needed to pick up both a front and rear bumper cover for my 2009 mitsubishi lancer. They had both and hand checked them, then helped load it in the lancer. Which wasn't easy, but got it to fit.
I went to purchase an upgrade RH turn signal housing for my 1995 Toyota Tacoma. Toyota no longer carries these parts. Yes it’s old. So I went down and purchased the part. It didn’t fit. Chinese manufactured parts are notorious for poor fitment in the replacement of crash parts.
Went back and waited for a while and brought back what appeared to be a used part. The plastic looked discolored and one of the tabs were broken. The guy went back and came out with a new part. I had measured the distance between both screws and found they were off by 1/4”, after trying to install it at home.
Went back today and returned the part and gave them my old part which was not broken, to compare. I even brought my tape measure for them to check. So after waiting for 30 minutes, they brought it in and I checked and that one was also off by the same amount.
But when the guy gave me back my part, he or someone broke one of the alignment tabs which can’t be glued because of the way it broke. But to be clear here, the fitment was the manufacturing error. So now the sit is worse than when I started.
Beware of fitment issues when purchasing parts from them. Always check before you leave to avoid wasting your time.
Mascot is a place to go if your looking for nissan hardbody along with other truck model parts especially chrome but the kicker to this place is he is very expensive if you ain't got the money don't bother.
Great place. No nonsense. Quick service. Knowledgeable staff. I came here to get a mirror for my F150. They didn't have it in stock and had to order. They gave an eta and lo and behold they were able to get it in time. Not that many businesses do that now. Seems like most pull a date it of thin air and come up with excuses to blame someone else if you don't get it by then. Promptness is very valuable to me hence the 5 stars.
