Friendly staff and my new to go stop for taking my recycles! For the life of me and to speed up your recycling experience have your cans, plastics & bottles already separated instead of doing so on property. Just saying... 🤔🤫🫢

Staff were helpful, but I'm not sure how to feel. While weighing my barrels the staff did NOT let me see how much each one weighed, and they were counting them with someone else's recyclables at the same time, so im still not sure about the process. I just wish they allowed for a little more transparency. The way they did things made me very uncomfortable compared to other recycling centers on island. The payout also seemed a little lower than I usually get with a full truckload by about $10, but I understand that can be subjective. Not sure what to think.

Came with exactly 1000 hi-5 items, they could only count 400 because there was 2 of us, was given 40 dollars meanin we got 20 dollars for the 30 dollars worth of cans that was weighed instead of counted.

Good workers there. One time I said I have to walk a mile and a half to get a beer they brought two beers out for me. The three stars is because of the location. In The last Mile there is no cans to be found maybe 10.

ive been coming to this place recently because they are friendly and pay more than other locations. tonight was different, the gate was latched a whole 15 minutes early, the person running it was alone and he was complaining about me being in the wrong. i arrived at 4:45 pm and was completely finished, weighed and riding away before 5:00 pm he started screaming at a woman in a black car, wither his girlfriend or family member, to start the car, cursing at her. he then ripped me off of at least half of the pay for the cans i soent 5 hours collecting. i cannot afford to be ripped off like that. i worked too hard and if he continues this, i will not be able to afford my phone bill. please address this immediately. he is about 5'5", 180lbs, moderate dark skin with a man bun style ponytail and short side burns with the slightest accent. it is extremely inappropriate for him to sully your business in such a way. i will not let his actions represent the business as a whole, his failure to comply with his jobs hours is not my fault and he shouldnt be stealing from me. there was another woman present. he didnt write down my weights on the sign slip and i know he is stealing the money from me he likely stole money from her as well.

On their phones does not help out the customers. If the workers does not want to work do not work. No customer service at all. This place is not a area that i would drop off my recycling all the time.

Very dishonest in pricing of recyclables. Always go there with about same amount of bags with same plastic bottles and very different payoffs. No more going to them.

They aren't as brazen as Island Recycling when it comes to skimming off your LBS. from your recycling. But, it is clear to me that they will not educate a customer the exact definitions of #1, #2, & #3 metals or what makes a highly sought metal a "dirty metal" like a tiny piece of brass still connected to a copper pipe. They will gladly down grade every piece of your recycling and pay lower without saying a word. Educate your selves about clean and dirty metals, weight everything before you go, and learn the definitions of each grade of metal. Every metal has multiple grades witch pay different prices. See if everything matches up.

My mother asked my 13 year old son to help her with her recycling to teach him about money and also to help her she is 78. We drove out to aiea from central Oahu about 20 mins and picked up the bottles and cans from her and drive to Reynolds on Sunday. There were 4 guys working that we could see and we were the 3rd car and it was 4:30 pm. My son unloaded the bottles which he counted beforehand it wasn’t a lot. He totaled them to come out to 6.50. He handed over the 3 bags and they weighed them and handed him 2.00. He was upset when he returned and said I think we got ripped off. I asked him what happened and he told me, so I told him I was going to speak to the guys. He said don’t make trouble it’s ok mom, lets just go. What a horrible experience this was for my son. No aloha here…Just greed…. So sad.

Is Reynolds recycling closed today? I’ve been here since 1157 up until 1:38 Garage is closed and entrance is chained so no one drives in. Website for this location says open everyday from 8 to 5. Did I miss something?

BEWARE!!! Shorted us big time today like others have shared in their reviews. First time it happened to us but it was blatant. Went in Sunday, 1/29/23 around noon. (Owners need to find better system to protect public from dishonest opportunists. Accountability is seriously lacking. No aloha.). Make sure workers don’t start dispersing yr stuff until u get paid so u can take yr stuff back if u don’t agree. Can try again another time, another site. Overseeing commissioner should audit this site.

Good service and open 7 days a week! They are hiring now. Parking a little tight for big trucks. Sort your recycles BEFORE you go.

With recycling cans and bottles it was not a problem, but when it comes to whoever the lady who notarizes the copper to sell is just a complete joke. Be ready to be given attitude left and right; if your signature is off by a bit, dirty comment will be said in your face, or when she organizes the copper from brass, she complains in your face about each and every piece. Completely unprofressional whoever that lady was, even had headphones on while dealing with me.

RIPPED OFF PLACE I TELL YALL! Went in on 4/2/22 Saturday with almost the same amount of recycled material from before and I got back only $20.00. Last time I was there in January y'all gave me almost $70.00, same amount like 5 different time I was there. Plus I always leave tips and I mean every single time I was there because that's what we do as locals. We take care one another but y'all basically took advantage. You tell me 5 Bin full with bottles and 1 Bin full with cans is equal $20.00?! I suggest check the employees or maybe need more training especially customer service. And I mean service with a smile be more welcoming (Service With Aloha). Also I have no issues with the music being super loud but when you play music with profanity while kids are around that's unprofessional. Please Training is much needed. Anyway Hope this helps and Have a Bless One.

What a pleasant surprise to see new workers in this Redemption Center. They seemed to be very organized, the place is clean, opened up all the parking stalls. The guy in charge with cash is nice and helpful, the other 2 workers are fast & diligent, no grouchy attitude. Way to go guys and to the management who listened to their customers.

This location says it's open everyday from 8 am to 5 pm. But last Saturday around 12:30 pm they are closed. I forgot to take photo to prove it. Customer service are not consistent. Sometimes, they help me unload but oftentimes I am on my own. 'First come-first serve basis' not all the time. Several times I was cut to be served, that does not feel good after waiting from a long line of cars. Generally, the guys showed good customer service except for the woman who seemed to hate her job, or maybe she is just way too serious-looking, or maybe she is just selective to show nice gesture to customers of her liking. Because when a Caucasian dude came. she's like "Hi guys, how are you doing? Her face lighten up!! Whoa!! first time for almost 2 years, every month of coming in this location did I ever see and hear that from her. I wish to talk to the Manager/owner to share some more feedback.

Their Days and hours are great and their in house notary service is good but the lady that does it seemed to take really long and over-kill examining my copper. She was pretty rude about what wasn't accepted by throwing it on the floor for me to pick up after. I understand it has to be copper but she looks at it like she looking for ukus on it DANG! Talk about sensitive.

5/11 9am I walked up the drive with my recycle. I was shouted at for not parking on the premises & angrily accused of cutting in front of others by an employee. It was my first visit, unaware of protocol. The verbal tirade left me speechless!

Friendly, helpful Staff. Always efficient & professional. Sad, they don't take large bottles (wine, jars) anymore.

This recycling redemption center is located quite far into an industrial area. They are open earlier than other places from 8am everyday. Weekday early morning times have been a great quick visit here for me. However, on weekends, even from very early time, there can be a long line of more than 10 cars waiting on a public road just to get inside. I WAITED FOR MORE THAN ONE HOUR!!!

It truly is the best of their facilities. I was so stoked regarding how fast snd professional they are I left the money I got back!

Place is geared up to be drive up, unload straight to cans or large print ON BAG with # of bottle count under 16.9oz, / over 17.1oz. In SEPARATED bags. No sorting at site...holds up the line. Finally large vehicle best to be experienced drivers so you can judge your distances and no get scratch up. HEY ITS OPEN NOO COMPLAIN YAAHH😀

No issues with the employees working there, but the location/set-up is terrible. Not sure why a business that requires customers to drive up and offload items would choose this location. I drove up to find a tiny parking/offload area that requires you to drive up a narrow incline entryway to access the 4 or 5 tiny parking stalls available. Parking is difficult because there's only a small amount of space, and the stalls are at an angle. Also, the amount of space between the parking stalls to the garage area where you drop off the items is also minimal, so you only have a small amount of space to empty your items into the bins at your car. I've been to several other Reynolds Recycling Centers, and I understand parking and space is usually at a premium, but this particular center is absolutely ridiculous. I'll avoid this location from now on due to the absurdly tiny space available to park and offload items.

I felt like I got robbed 9 big contractor bags full of bottles and cans, 7 cans full of bottles and 1 full can of aluminum cans and all I got was $39. They'll subtract up to a lb per can if you have bottle caps on, wish they had told me that prior to throwing all my bottles into the bin. They'll also multiply by 0.94 to your total to make their money. So be careful when you turn in big amounts.

This was my first time using the HI 5 program and I feel like I got robbed. Reynolds had a wall of machines that would count your cans but they were all broken. I told the employee that all of my items were for the HI 5 program and was given 3 large trash cans. I separated my aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and glass bottles. They weighed each trash can and then dumped the contents. I went to the booth to be paid and was given $16.60 for 10 months worth of cans and bottles. That was the salvage value of the materials by weight and not a refund of the deposit I had paid up front. I asked about it and they told me to get the deposit I had to have a count of the items. Why wasn't I told this upfront when I told him my items were for the HI 5 program? They appear to be intentionally misleading customers and robbing them of the deposit that was paid up front by paying the lower salvage rate.
