Most always a very professional facility to bring my trash and recycle. We are very fortunate to have this in Jasper.

Recycling was such a fun things to do with my kids this summer. They are 9 and 11 and so we would go to the library and then to recycling once a week and everyone looked forward to it! We got in and out of there quickly every time!

Clean, covered, affordable and painless way to recycle. Highly recommend.

The facility is clean and well organized. You need to understand what they accept, but you can be absolutely certain that what they do take will actually be recycled. You can even see materials being prepared for processing. I love knowing i am contributing to a true circular economy! Well done!

My 1st time here Sat 6/15/24. From the Entry post man, the sweet Lady at Plastic #2 station and the friendly guy that replaced her for lunch and the informative guy at the trash bins all of them were so helpful and kind to make my 1st trip so pleasant. Thank you. The facility was also so well organized just like the video and clean and ppl just rolled through getting thier recycling emptied, fast and easy. 5stars

I’ve been using this facility regularly and it’s always been a good experience. Easy to navigate through to drop my recycling materials and garbage. Keep up the good work!

I have been going here for approximately 2 years now. I go there about twice a week to dump trash and recycle. Today I had 4 bags of trash and cardboard and 2 bags of recycles They were very busy 2 cars on front of me were throwing away cardboard As they started pulling away one of the employees crossed over to the side where the cardboard bins was. I stopped to let him criss then he just stood there looking straight ahead. He was on the driver's side of my car probably about 4 ft away from the car I waited to see if he was going to do something he just stood there so I thought he was just going to monitor the cardboard as they sometimes do. I turned my wheel a little to the right so when I pulled forward he would not be so close to the side of my car, then moved forward dumped my cardboard as I was closing my door to move on he started screaming at me that I tried to run over him..... at first i thought I misunderstood he said it again. I told him I did not...he came over to my window screaming at me. That man was no where near my car when I pulled forward... I told him if he wanted me to wait he should have put up his hand or came over and asked me wait a minute before moving forward. The supervisor Micheal then proceeded to follow my car. He too accused me of the same. I was so shaken up by the whole thing ...still am. I cannot believe this happened to me today. I cannot believe these people accused me of such a terrible thing. I am a 55 year old woman, this scared me, unnerved me and humiliated me. I will never go back and I will email anyone who will listen. You do not throw around strong accusations of such at people. The Supervisor Micheal told me people try to rum over them all the time. I know when you deal with the public you put up with alot..but I still cannot believe this happened to me. I was being yelled at by the supervisor while the man dumping my trash looked on by time I left I was in tears...so humiliated.

closing early on Fridays causes such a mess for so many. not just close early, but stand at the gate to turn people away while letting others out of the gate. a couple of us left with trucks full of garbage and have to wait even though we made it well before 5 pm. and it's most Fridays, so maybe need to update the time listed or something?? they never are consistent with pricing, amd sometimes they will take certain items and other days refuse and say it isn't allowed. so just depends who you talk to I guess. No one is really helpful, they actually stand there and stare and watch as you throw your stuff away. the very sweet lady at the gate is the only good thing about this place. oh and it's fairly clean to be a dump.

Half the time they say it’s free and when you show up you have to pay. There’s usually about 3-7 “workers” who will look you in the eyes and walk away because they don’t want to help anyone. Cut myself on the rusty bins when throwing things away cause they don’t want to help.

Everyone is super helpful and nice. I had a truckload of moving boxes and they helped me unload them for free. It's clean and organized too.

Charlyn helped me out of one heck of a pickle this weekend. Jeep buddies for life and a great mechanic! Whole team lead by Mike was super! Thanks y’all.

We recycle and as a result we carry our own trash away. Everyone is always willing to lend a hand if needed. Nothing but positive.

This is a very nice facility and the staff is extremely helpful and VERY friendly. Recycling cardboard, paper, plastic, glass, oil, etcetera is FREE. Household trash, up to 33 gallon bags, are $1 each.

Closing early on a Friday, the day after a federal holiday, is UNACCEPTABLE. There was a line of cars both inside and outside the gate, several minutes before official 5pm. Now my vehicle is loaded with garbage and no place to take it until Tuesday. (I don't work Saturdays, unless I make a special 50 mile trip!) 0 STARS for Ronnie Hall.

Make sure that Everything is separated.. It's a pain if it the first time you have been to the new facility.

This is a really nice and clean drive-through facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. No need to sort glass by color, but like most recycling centers, you need to separate #1 and #2 plastics (1 gal plastic jugs go in a separate bin). Love that they take mixed paper and cardboard, and that I can drop off my household trash all at the same place!

Nice facility and it’s a great service for Pickens county and I’ll use it again out of pure convenience, but had an encounter with 1 employee that was rude and the flow of traffic is confusing the first time. If you want your facility used your costumers should feel welcome not bothersome.

Second time visiting this new facility north of jasper, first time they would not accept a $50 bill for $40 worth of billable items in my trailer so I had to go back towards town and find an ATM and pay the $3.00 service fee and take them cash back. Second trip today, I looked on their website this morning to see if credit or debit cards were accepted and they said they did, awesome, I had a $30 load on my trailer. I get there and was turned away due to their credit card machines haven't been hooked up yet and something to do with the internet, the facility has been running for quite some time now, once again had to go find an ATM, pay a $3 service fee and go back. I think from now on we will stick to the landfill on old Federal road.

They are not taking all plastics, they will go into our landfills. Most plastic is not 1 or 2. Employee told me to throw out my cat food cans they don't accept them anymore. Next time I went I seen alot of cat food cans in the metal bin. Glad they got a new facility but they should expand what they take.
