Today, Griffin and Griffin Towing came to our school, Pinehurst Christian School. They gave a towing demonstration to the children, answered questions and provided some information about their towing service. Thank you for being so friendly, courteous, and professional to the children and staff. We highly recommend their services and school demonstration. Excellent service provided!!! Hero's of the highway. Before you think I'm stupid, understand that this is their motto and has been for years. Holders of the contract is more like it. Even after clearly understanding that I was the rightful owner of my car and what was in it, they gleefully took possession at the first moment allowed by law and refused to let me financially negotiate the release of my own things. These jerks have no concept of morality, and exist only on the back line of legality. Not convinced? Check their fee chart. Every fee is the absolute maximum allowed by law, down to the final cent. I hope this review is read by a literate Griffin, if such a creature exists. If so, read this part twice. Since you like taking things that you know don't belong to you, and you have my address on file, why not hop in a recently "acquired" vehicle, come to Cherokee Avenue, and try to take from me here on my property? Do so, and you'll not take anything from anyone ever again.
Literally just paid 15 less than a man that was in line ahead of me. His car was here for 3 days but yet my car wasn’t here for 24 hours.
The math ain’t mathing!
Last night while the car was on the tow truck we were told that the tow would cost $99 arrived less than 24 hours to get the car and I was charged $140 for the tow. Use a different company!

I am giving Griffin and Griffin Towing Inc. zero stars. Unfortunately, Google Reviews requires selecting at least one star, so I will rate them with one star and explain why. Their services were unsatisfactory and I believe this company did not meet my expectations at all. My experience with Griffin Towing was profoundly disappointing and unprofessional. After returning to my truck, which was being hooked up, I spoke with the driver to inquire about the cost of having my truck put back down. He directed me to call the office and speak with Miss Brenda. When I called, she wasn't available, and the receptionist who answered put me on hold and then informed me that the cost would be $1,204.00. I requested a breakdown of the fees considering the truck was neither towed nor significantly moved, but I was met with the same figure and a prompt to pay via card without any detailed explanation.
Such opaque practices are not acceptable in 2025 or at any time, especially in business dealings. Any service, whether it's from a retailer like Walmart, Amazon or while purchasing an airline ticket, mandates a clear and detailed breakdown of costs. In this instance, I received none. After another conversation with the driver and showing him the vague invoice, I was advised to call back for a detailed bill. Unfortunately, when I did so, the receptionist emailed me a receipt that showed a higher price than initially quoted, which added to the confusion and frustration.
Based on this unprofessional interaction, I would strongly advise against doing business with Griffin Towing, whether the service is consensual or not. Their lack of transparency and the inconsistency in their fee structure are deeply concerning. As someone passionate about helping others and conducting business professionally, I feel compelled to share this experience to help others avoid similar dissatisfaction.

During my recent experience with Griffin and Griffin Towing, Inc. Miss Brenda attempted to contact me via cell phone and text message. Unfortunately, I was outside my truck at a truck stop and missed their calls. Upon returning her call, we discussed the matter at hand. It turned out there was a miscommunication on their end, leading to my initial feelings of being treated unjustly.
Miss Brenda listened to my concerns attentively and acknowledged the miscommunication. They took steps to rectify the situation, refunding my money. My first experience with Griffin and Griffin Towing had been very positive in the past, marked by effective communication, professionalism, craftsmanship, dedication, and hard work. They ensured customer satisfaction, with fair pricing and careful handling of equipment.
When I felt unjustly treated, I left a review based on my experience at that time. However, Griffin and Griffin Towing went above and beyond to make things right, demonstrating that they value their customers and their feedback. By issuing a full refund, they showed that higher management cares about customer satisfaction.
I now confidently recommend Griffin and Griffin Towing, Inc. to anyone in the area. Their commitment to making things right and their dedication to providing excellent service has restored my faith in their business. My experience with them underscores their effective communication, professionalism, and fairness. I give them a five-star review for their outstanding service.

Considering being in an accident, the young lady working the office was friendly polite and most importantly compassionate. She before going forward after giving information needed to verify, notice the vehicle was in an accident, and simply check asking was all parties involved ok. Took me by surprise. The overall service including the driver from the site was very nice and tactful.
This place is terrible, inconsistent requirement forms required. Each time I’ve been back there had been something else required. The white lady in the front doesn’t listen, just cuts you off with nonsense. They won’t provide total cost at first visit or an estimated cost. I’m trying to help out a friend who’s been in a terrible accident. And these people are out here ripping people off or trying to exploit a customer in a time of need. Terrible business, avoid at all costs.
If you have a choice, don’t come here.

The lady who took my call was very nice, patient, and professional. Mr. Carl arrived in about 15 minutes. He was also very friendly, patient, and professional. He even suggested from local shops that were still open (I had flat tire). I ended up going to one of his suggested places and was very pleased. I overall experience with Mavis was very nice
Our vehicle was taken to Griffin and Griffin Towing after an auto collision. The staff was super awesome and helpful when I had to go retrieve items from the vehicle.
This is a predatory towing company in partnership with the sheriffs department and Columbus police department. Recently, I was in a car wreck on I85. While, I was taken to the hospital for treatment Columbus police department officer contacted griffin and griffin towing to come and remove my vehicle from the side of the road. Upon being discharged from the hospital, I contacted the tow company to retrieve my property(truck) and was told when I asked what are the fees so that I can come retrieve my property. Not, one but two reps told me that due to privacy laws they can not give me that information. Knowing that this is illegal I reached out to Columbus police department were I was told to contact the officer who responded to the wreck. That didn't help as Columbus police department stopped answering the phone lines. So, I failed 911 and had Decatur police department contact the Columbus police department and guess what... They didn't answer for them. So, Decatur police department contact the sheriffs office of the county Columbus is located. The Sheriffs office told me that the tow company says that's their policy and there's nothing they can do. Well, I reached out to the FTC(federal trades commission) to file a report and when I told FTC they immediately took the report and submitted it to consumer protection lawyers, stating that Griffin and Griffin towing is partaking in predatorial and deceptive business practices. That by law they cannot withhold information such as fees storage fees or towing fees information from a customer. They cannot require you a customer to verify that you are the owner of your property if the property was told without your consent. Beware this company and call the proper authorities now reach out to FTC
Great experience. Receptionist was so nice and kind. Registration was in truck that they towed for me, so she got a driver to take me to truck to retrieve it. Every so friendly
Brenda and Kim was very helpful, very professional, patient, positive, kind, and a very courteous uplifting attitude. Help with all my needs. Process was fast even though it was busy.
There services is excellent. They were on time and the driver Kevin was great with communicating with me on what time he was arriving to tow my car. The customer service was excellent also.
Got my tow in a matter of minutes, the guy that helped me was pretty chill, and helped get my car to where i asked him to put it in a fairly tight location.

I had my car towed to this wonderful establishment and their customer service was top tier. They were patient, professional, and provided all the information needed to ensure my wrecked vehicle could be picked up timely by my insurance company. Antonio was very pleasant and he escorted me where I needed to go and was very patient with me when I retrieved all my items. Had to come back on a later date cause forgot to get my license plate and Antonio came to the rescue and recovered it for me so I wouldn’t have to go back on the yard. Definitely recommend Griffin & Griffin.
Kevin’s service was outstanding. His courtesy alone is what made me feel comfortable. He got me there in a timely manner as well. Anytime I need a tow from now on I know who to call!
I recommend Griffin to you without reservation. I called at 7am on a Saturday morning, and Jasmine politely answered, asking the right questions. Within 15 minutes Kevin came with his truck and was exceptionally courteous, professional, and caring in how he handled my daughter's Hyundai. I went to the shop to get checked in and he arrived shortly afterward, and even when there was a small online issue processing my credit card, Jasmine was once again very helpful. All in, to get my car towed and processed, it took a touch over a half an hour. I'm not sure how they can be this fast, this good, and this professional. It's for all these reasons that I recommend Griffin to you when the unexpected happens - they made it easy! Jasmine and Kevin have my sincere thanks and appreciation!!!
My truck was towed to the yard and when I went to get it the lady upfront did her best to get me in and out fast as possible which worked well for me. She was very courteous and the manager was too. I was scared to go because I thought it would be extremely expensive but to my surprise it was reasonable for the amount of time my truck was there. If you ever have to go make sure you have everything you need in order for things to go smoothly and they will definitely try to get you in and out as fast as possible.

Great experience,I want to thank Mrs Brenda so much. My car was stolen and my family and I were sadden. I had personal items in my car given to me from my father before his death that ment a lot to me she went above and beyond to help me.
