I had a very disappointing experience at this O’Reilly Auto Parts. I stopped in to have someone quickly check my oil before driving back home, something I’ve had done here in the past with no issue. However, the woman working at the counter was extremely rude and dismissive. In her words, “we do not check fluids,” but it was very clear she simply did not want to help. What made this worse is that I know this isn’t true—I’ve been here before, and the gentleman who assisted me previously had no problem checking fluids and making sure I was safe to drive. The worker’s attitude this time was lazy and unprofessional, leaving me frustrated. I ended up going right across the street to AutoZone, where the employees were kind, helpful, and immediately checked my fluids without hesitation. Thanks to them, I felt safe and taken care of. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this O’Reilly location based on this experience.

Despite what any website says, staff told me that they are unable to change most car batteries. They were unable to help me.

Today I went into O'Reilly's as usual I asked for a certain parts they sold them to me and the wrong Parts as always every single time that I purchase a part from O'Reilly's they saw me the wrong Parts not to mention the manager is absolutely disgustingly rude and racist and threatened to call the cops on me I asked for my for a refund I paid with my debit card and she put it back on my card or now I got to wait 5 to 6 days for $250 she started laughing I truly believe that people that don't have any insight on car parts or knowledge automotives should be working in an auto parts store absolutely horrible experience this is the last time that I go back to O'Reilly's employees are unprofessional and have no knowledge whatsoever of Automotives

8/20/24 new review. I gave y'all one more chance. Just left there. I was the ONLY customer. Looking to buy 6 Bosch Wiper Blades at ~$35 each plus I needed some parts that would have been behind the counter. Standing in the wiper blade isle for at least 10minutes, I know the sizes that were in the vehicle but there's several variations in the simple numbers. No help offered. I walk up to the counter and 1 employee walks off to the back. Other guy is standing at the counter wearing HEADPHONES,not even ear buds, Headphones and staring at his cellphone!!! Never even looks up!!! I stood there for at least an entire minute before walking out the door!!! I was going to spend around $500 in your store this evening... But now I'm at home and I will make my purchases elsewhere! Never coming back! If you go to this location then I hope you don't need help with anything. I typically always have great experiences and excellent customer service at O'Reillys. But, this particular location is lacking in customer service. The place had at most 3 customers at one time, I needed a ball and tow hitch for my Subaru Forester Wilderness and went through everything available on their shelves. At one point I was sitting on the floor surrounded by several options. Pretty obvious that I could have used some help from one of the employees. Yet, 2 left for lunch and the 2 other guys I saw just talking behind the counter never once came over. So I finally gave up, bought my windshield washer fluid and left. The O'Reillys in Thomaston has ALWAYS been great. I'm so frustrated and disappointed by the Barnesville store, this is not my first bad experience here. So, I will take my money to a business where the employees are actually helpful so I can guarantee that I buy the correct items for the hitch I had factory installed during my custom build of my Subaru Forester Wilderness Edition. I'm done with this particular store!!!

Sometimes I just want to buy some oil or fuses or parts real quick. That’s not generally something you can do at this store. It takes me on average about 15-20 minutes inside the store before I’m able to leave because me and the 7 people behind me in line have to watch the one person at a register talk and walk away and look for parts for several minutes before the other 2-3 on staff will show up. Doesn’t matter what day or time of day or who’s working. If I go to advance or auto zone I can buy whatever I want when I want to buy it without argument or questions or asking for my phone number

Blaine was so wonderful. He was helpful and kind. He made sure I got everything I needed and double bagged my items that way the first bag didn’t break on me. Even told me to have a nice day Mrs Ludlow. He also went over and beyond by writing rear and front for the break pads I was getting. It was the small things that just made my day there. If he reads this thank you for a wonderful experience.

My battery was starting to go bad, went in to ask if someone could check for us, person was Rude and says that 2 people had to stay in the store at one time, no Customers were in the store we were the only ones, so we went to Autozone, will not be going to this Location again. We bought a new battery, they missed a sale for being Rude.

Excellent customer service. The young man was kind and very helpful. Took the time to answer my questions and even show me the picture on the screen to help me see where my problem was. Couldn't ask for better service and will definitely be back in the future.

I stopped in a couple of weeks ago when my windshield wiper blade broke in half during a torrential downpour. Your staff not only found the correct blade for me, but installed it during said downpour!! And if that was not good enough, I had car trouble today and had to have my car jumped off. I had an appointment in Barnesville, so of course, I headed to your store and had the battery tested. The manager, Rodney, said that it was beyond dead, and found the appropriate battery for me. He tried to install it for me to help me out. When it became obvious that theconnector was cracked beyond repair, he not only pulled the correct connector, but found a local mechanic who was willing to repair the problem and do it for beyond a reasonable price. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of and safe. I can not thank them enough for their amazing customer service and care for their customers!!!

Lost an alternator belt, stopped by and everyone in the store was extremely helpful. Had to buy some tools and try a few belts to get the correct one for my modified motor set up. They helped out looking up parts, running around pulling various things, even let me use some of their tools. Super awesome folks, rare to find such amazing people these days.
