This is a really bad service the old lady it’s super frustrating and she make a lot excuses to have the car more days in there to get more money she needs to be fired
As a business owner I am disgusted on how these people operate. The lack of professionalism and the eager to just rip you off, is insane. One of our transportation vehicle was involved in an accident where only one wrecker was needed to tow our truck. Curt’s got there with 2 heavy duty wrecker and 1 medium duty wrecker to recover one day cab truck. One of the owner came up to me and said “hey I understand there is not much to do here but we charge $1,200 an hour with a minimum of 3 hours to start and $1,200 any additional hour”. And had the courage to tell me that the county are the one’s who sets up the rate for them to charge for the towing to tow a day cab 13 miles down the road. To top it off I would be surprise if the law is on these people’s payroll. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE IF POSSIBLE
Unfortunately, I had to call them because of a family member's lack of judgement. Thankfully, Curt's Heavy Towing is an excellent company to work with. We were able to get our car out with no fuss, no muss. Thank you for making this part of this whole process smooth and easy. It is appreciated.
Absolute worst service I've ever had. The lady who we dealt with today and yesterday was the absolute worst. She was disrespectful towards my grandmother and tried to prevent us from retrieving my belongings to the point where we almost called the law. Would never use them for anything. Very shady and disrespectful. They should be shut down or fire and hire new and better people.
This was one of most badly run places I have ever seen the lady at the front desk didn't help at all she was to busy calling police and trucking my friend into going in the wrecker yard and getting her registration from glovebox then calling police saying she entered unlawfully she is rude and does not need to work at a front desk anywhere I wish the law really could have heard what she said and what she was really like you can do what you like but I would not have a scrap car hauled to that place and hope you never have to deal with that crazy lady she is insane and should not be dealing with the public she will be the downfall of this towing company she would be a good candidate for front desk Sysco patiences if there was a place for no stars that's where my star would be
If I could give negative stars I would! The lady in the front office was soooo rude and unprofessional! We went to get my husband's wallet out of the car to get his debit card so we could get the money to pay them for our car and was told we wasn't allowed to get anything out of the car unless we paid 530$ and show proof of insurance or give her the title (all these things were in the car) so we had to call a taxi to leave. I'm pregnant so I sat down on a log just outside the gate to wait for the taxi and she came out and ask if we was waiting for something I told her yes we were just waiting for our taxi and she told me that we would have to wait at the road that we could not wait there on her property. A few days later we went back with the money to get the car which was supposed to be 640$ well we got in there and was told it would be 650$ to get the car out. We had 649$ but also had 60$ that was in the car when it got towed, so I ask her VERY politely if we could please go to the car and get the 60$ out because I only had 649$ (I was ONE DOLLAR short) she rudely told me NO and reminded me that she had already told me the day before that we WAS NOT allowed to go to the car unless the money was paid. I politely said " I understand so is there anyway u could go to the car and get the money out because I'm 1$ short and there is 60$ in the dash" She then rudely told me no and said "I already told u NOBODY is going to that car til it's paid. I was trying to explain to her that we was really struggling because my husband just had a major surgery done 3 weeks ago to remove colon cancer and has been out of work so we really couldn't afford to call another taxi just to go back home to get 1 more dollar and ask if she could please just take the 649$ and when we get the car I would give her the other 1$ and give her a 10$ tip for doing that for us. Once again I was rudely told no and that if I couldn't get the other 1$ in the next 30 minutes she was leaving and we would have to come back the next day (which would have been another 30$ added for it sitting on their lot for another day ) we couldn't afford to do that. So my husband seen a man working on a house across the street and went to explain our situation to him and ask if we could borrow ONE DOLLAR to get the car out and would bring it right back to him. He gave my husband 5$ (Thank God for that man) So after ALLLLL of that and ALLLLL of the rudeness we had to deal with we FINALLY got the car!!! And went back to pay the man his 5$ back and he would not take the money and told us that he knew what we just went through dealing with them and that he has heard this lady outside yelling at customers more then once! It's just so sad how rude and heartless people can be!!! I could NEVER treat ANYONE the way she treats people!!! And this is supposed to be a place of business!! But the lady was SOOOO unprofessional and SOOOO rude!!! I don't know how she still has a business or a job!! But all I can do is pray for her. I hope whatever is making her so unhappy gets better for her. We did FINALLY get our car back (Thank God) OH! And the 60$ that we had in the car was GONE!!!! That sucked but atleaset it was only 60$ and atleast we did get our car back!! But anyways.. This place needs to be shut down or the lady needs to be fired! It makes no sense for someone to be that rude to their customers or to ANYBODY for that matter. I wouldn't suggest this towing company to anyone!! I usually don't write reviews on places but I felt this review was very much needed to maybe save somebody the headache of dealing with these people!! Hope her miserable life gets better for her!!
The lady that answers the phone needs a snickers, extremely rude. Worst place ever to have your car towed to, Straight crooks. Your better off leaving your vehicle on the side of the road. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY.
Anyone notice the only 3 positive reviews all have the same last name? Extremely rude! Tried telling us we couldn't remove personal items from our vehicle. Had us jumping through hoops and tried to make us pay HUNDREDS of dollars to get our personal belongings
I am not normally one to ever write reviews unless it’s for something good but oh my god if I could give negative stars I would. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by someone who “works” the front desk if that’s what you want to call it. She was extremely rude, and was doing everything in her power to make the process more difficult and had no patience for questions. She refused to let me go to my car to get my registration to show my ownership of the vehicle so I asked if she could and she just had to open the glove box. She refused for 5-10 minutes and then her reasoning ended up being because “the car stunk so bad the guy almost threw up” and that if “she went down there and almost puked she was gonna be pissed”. Also had several people (even strangers at the gas station) that I asked about the smell cause maybe I was nose blind but they didn’t understand what I was talking about and regardless IF it did smell, that’s not a reason to not help someone. That’s a personal preference. She made an already hard day so so so much worse and took joy in it. I will never ever recommend this company to ANYONE you’d be better taking your business literally anywhere else. Her life seems miserable and it looks like she tries her very best to make sure others are too.
Called respectfully asking to get my granny’s debit card . So she was initially rude… then she asked was the police city or county.. I accidentally said it was county then I said “no wait they were black so it was city” I literally meant the car was black. She said “so just because they are black” I stopped her and said “ omg I’m sorry I meant the car was black” (meaning it was city) she continued to say “ well that sounded pretty racist” …. I just explained what I meant.. my child is black, my cousins are black, my step dad is black, my niece is black, my man is black. And I just explained so why continue to try to make me look badly .. anyways like I said she was initially rude. Hopefully she learns how to speak to people. Because yes I get very offended for someone to keep trying to act like I didn’t make a simple mistake: I was distracted so I said “wait they were black “ then once again explained “ sorry I meant the car was black meaning city and county is white” oh and the officer who arrested her was white . Anyways my granny is ordering herself a new card. I won’t be calling them back for any help. I see why they have 2 stars. Reading the reviews shows they only are considerate to people who pay for towing… not people who got locked up . And it wasn’t me it was my cousin. Anyways. The lady who answered need to look for a job that doesn’t consist of dealing with people!!
Do not contact this towing company the dispatcher or whoever she is is absolutely rude (no wonder they can't keep help there) the prices are outrageous hands down the worst towing company ever
Worst towing ever. They were completely rude to me when I called and when I came in person. Was asking simply questions cause I’ve never had my car towed after a bad wreck and they treated me like I’d hurt someone . Never experienced this rude of conversation from any business in Gainesville so this is very upsetting. Why have a business just to have poor customer service skills. No one deserve that type of rude manner . Sadly others are telling me they are always this way with everyone! Don’t even give them one star honestly . Great Customer service is everything to me
I had just bought my vehicle and I didn't have the title in my name yet and the title brought it with me but they refused to give me the car and the title had a problem which I still can't pass it by my name and I tried to explain to them and a lady refused to listen to me and told me that she couldn't do anything about it
They stole everything out of our vehicle.And then tried to bully us with some 500lb fat guy because we called them out on it. We called the local police dept. Multiple times And waited for over an hour with no response. Very shady business practices
Would not recommend them to even tow a lawn mower at this point.

ZERO STARS ** This has to be the most rudest company in my entire life I have encountered. Their customer service is nonexistent. Whoever answers their calls and/or whoever is in the office should never be there. Be sure not to ask the same question for better explanation because that person will lose their mind and go off on you. Good luck trying to get to your vehicle because you’ll need to provide dna to prove you own your car (sarcasm), but not an exaggeration.
Lady we called that answered the phone was very short with us wasn't very friendly holler at my mom the lady did not want to answer any of the questions we had that way out to know what we needed to do we didn't
If I could give 0 stars I would. Very rude customer service!!! My brother called to get info over the phone to get his car out, spoke to the lady fine on the phone until he asked what he needed to take to get his car out of their lot. The woman on the phone said “ I don’t know, when you get there they will tell you”. Not helpful at all or willing to help. We asked where Curt’s towing was located, she just stated “purina rd” and didn’t seem to want to help giving the physical address. We called back and asked for the address, all she said was “it’s on the corner of purina drive and east ridge road”, I asked her for the physical address and she began to get loud and talk to us like we are stupid. She clearly doesn’t know how to handle customers. Very disappointing.
Several belongings stolen from my vehicle before being towed to insurance location. The lady who answered the phone gave me the run around on finding who drove my car there. Very unprofessional
Very nasty people skills. I tried to retrieve my possessions from vehicle and found that 3 other people had been allowed to go into my vehicle but I wasn't. I have not recovered my possessions such as wallet with several hundred dollars in it and birth certificate, SS card, bank cards, debit cards and such. I also have very important documents missing that could easily be forged and I could possibly lose my home vehicle and other very important properties due to the fact that my daughter was allowed to take what she wanted before the car was towed and she had possession of the car key and my license and she was the One who gave me my belongings except for the wallet and documents. But I am still being denied access to the vehicle.
