I love the guys up there. High spirits even on hot days. Same guys upthere for years so that tells me great employers and team work is evident. Evan is our favorite. Real stand up tradicional value young man. I never go anywhere else. Plus... Bonus... they sell tires (used and gently used ) for $$5$$
I went there earlier today and went across the scales with a truck and trailer loaded full. No one was anywhere. A Hispanic said everyone lunch. I told him I was a heavy equipment operator with 10 years experience and I could unload it with there CAT 325. He said ask the office, I started walking towards the office bearded feller came out of no where and 4 dollars every hundred. I said do what thats not right. I hopped back in the truck and called Priest in Jasper and they gave me 7.50 a hundred.
It is so fast and easy to get In-N-Out of this place and they pay you very fairly for your scrap metal. And they even have people that help you unload it out of your vehicles.
This place is well kept. Had plenty of help unloading and was giving recommendations on we're to take different kinds of material for the most money. As I was leaving I experienced a little car trouble as soon as I popped the hood a employee was on his way to see if I need help. Overall I recommend this place over any other I have ever been too. It's clean, organize, and safe for anyone.
Easy to get into and out of, but non-ferrous prices are honestly pretty bad, way below market and similar competitors. I think they lure people in with decent shredder prices and then get you on the non-ferrous stuff. Also they Don't buy short steel separately and at better price than shredder. Staff is usually friendly, main issue is pricing...better check around for prices.
Pulled up on the scales they weighed my truck pulled over to the unloading area they off loaded the scrap. Went back over the scale to get the empty weight. Pulled back off the scale went up to the window and was greeted by some very nice and friendly gentlemen. All in all the place is a pretty decent place to take your scrap metal.
Not much to say . It's a scrap yard they buy stuff that someone doesn't want any more. As long as it's metal! If you need a little extra cash take them some scrap metal you don't want or need anymore.!!
Great and friendly service from the ones who work there. Prices are fair, to have smiling faces to the ones who know u and will joke around with u when u are feeling a little down is good.
Worst prices on whole aluminum! I took a 35 ld. Aluminum radiator with no plastic or steal to scrap yard and only got 5.40$ I realize aluminum scrap are not at a high but I felt I had been had after leaveing. Spend the time of disabling the radiator of plastics and steal coil and leaving with less than 6$ I use to get 15$-30$ at the very least for radiator especially of a bulky diesel truck. I rate this salavage yard blow 1 star and highly recommend not going there for poor service and scarp prices. BEWARE!!!!!
