Wow. I can't express enough how much I appreciate everyone at this shop that I encountered today. Without an appointment, I brought in an old clunker van that I had attempted to repair for 2 days. Everyone I spoke with was super pleasant, had my alternator issue fixed within 15 minutes AND charged way less than what I expected or would have been willing to pay. They will have my business for LIFE! Thank you SO much Rowland Auto Services!

All the guys here are stand up gentlemen!!! I went in for heat problems that I’d already spent $350 for “diagnostic and repairs” at another shop. The guys did a very extensive test on my car and unfortunately could not figure out what is going on. They suggested I take it to the dealership, and even suggested a dealership they work with sometimes, and come back and tell them what the problem/solution was. They did not charge me for the work (I offered to pay them because labor is labor) even though 2-3 of them took my dash apart and all tried to figure out what was going on. 100/10 recommend. It felt great to be serviced by men who were looking out for me and my car, not just to take money from me. Thanks guys, I’ll be back, and I’m recommending everyone to them!

I've gone to Rowlands twice and both times found the mechanics to be prompt, helpful, and fair. For my first visit, I took an old 2004 in that I wanted to stop putting so much money into. Within a day, the team did a diagnostic and gave me a quote to fix it and when I said it was too much and wanted to sell it they helped me to do so without pressuring me. (Now my car is decorating a Tyler Perry set!) The second time, I needed a hitch installed and they accomplished it within an hour for a more than fair price. Rowlands really cares about their customers and I'll be back!

If you want your car serviced right.... Come here! Keep in mind that they are very busy and availability might be scarce but name a place that does great work isn't!

AN HONEST MECHANIC, look no further. I had the absolute best experience today. I called yesterday and took my car in the next morning in a few hours I was out with new brakes and rotors. The pricing was competitive and affordable. Very knowledgeable and the customer service was impeccable no wonder they’ve been in business since the 60’s well before my time ! Shout out to Leslie, I’ll always come back when needed.

If you’re looking for a quick quote, don’t come here. Just stopped by on Friday on at 3 PM and they told me that they were busy doing paperwork and I needed to come back on Monday. The person who was going to provide the quote was in the office it would’ve taken two minutes, but I understand the concept of respecting peoples time but I found it rude. So if you’re looking for a quick quote don’t come.

Rowland Auto Services came highly recommended by a good acquaintance of mine whom I trust and I’m super grateful for it. As a woman it is difficult to find a mechanic whom I trust to not take advantage of my naïveté concerning cars. I came in because a male friend of mine suggested my transmission might be slipping and was prepared for the unfortunate possibility of a huge repair. Leslie, the owner, drove it for me (and I went with) and ran the diagnostics and checked the transmission fluid (which was fine) and let me know it was all good and I owed nothing. I was so relieved and also immediately knew I’d found the mechanic I’ve been searching for. He was very nice and professional and obviously has integrity. So though I can’t attest to any repair service yet I can say there’s nowhere else I’d take my car after that experience. Highly recommend!!!

I wish I could rate this shop a million stars. Leslie is honest and upfront about repairs and I never feel pressured into unnecessary add ons. These are the mechanics you can trust. They’re friendly, professional and ALWAYS go the extra mile to make sure you’re happy with the service. They’re the best in the city and know exactly what they’re doing. I’ve had my splash guard repaired, my brake lights fixed and the AC restored. 10/10 stars.

This auto shop was recommended by my boss. He says they do excellent work, but no one ever answers the phone... ever. I've been calling almost every day for over a week and no one answers, and there isn't any voicemail set up. So if I were to have my car serviced here, I have my doubts about whether or not I'd be properly updated on the status.

Leslie and his crew did the most amazing job on my vehicle. They were highly recommended by my local Facebook group, which was right on the money. They did a great job of removing several dings and dents. They’re no longer visible. They did much more extensive work on my son’s truck (replaced bumper, repaired rear gate door, etc) and they did the same excellent work on it. They’re very reasonable with pricing and are great for both foreign and domestic vehicles. Ask for Leslie. He’ll take great care of you!

Mr Lester at Roland automotive service is truly a remarkable man so are his partners that work there with him. They didn't put me off or tell me back to come the next day they found that the radiator they ordered had been dropped and damaged they ordered another one while I was there and got it put on and I have my car the price is perfect and so is the service. I found the place to have my 96 Impala SS repaired regularly from. I'm so happy I finally found them and will be letting my peeps know this is the place to get your car repaired.

I had the best experience taking my car here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fair and honest mechanic. I brought my car in because of a consistent, loud rumbling of my car that had been a problem for years. I asked for an oil change and help identifying the problem. I got a call quickly explaining what was wrong and how much it would be to fix. The mechanic ended up changing another part and hadn’t called with an update so left it up to me if I wanted to pay for that part. In total, an oil change and fixing my wheel bearing was only $400. He took the time to show me what he repaired and how it was priced. The car is running smoother than it ever has been. I’ll definitely be back!! You can’t beat the prices. And I felt fairly treated even though I’m a young woman who’s usually played due to my lack of car knowledge.

So hard to find honest mechanics & people that aren’t trying to gut punch you with prices. Here you have both an honest & very reasonable mechanic. Now I see why Mr Perry has you as his own personal mechanic. Great job thank you

Rowland’s in East Point recently fixed my clutch quickly and for a very reasonable price. They don’t take credit cards but forgot to tell me. The guy just handed me the key and said to mail him a check. Who does that?

As a new resident of East point, I did not know any mechanics on this side of town and began calling around. My 2007 hyundai santa fe was smoking and I had to hurry to get this resolved to get back on the road. Rowland auto services quoted me a fair rate after diagnosing the issue and everyone was very friendly. I dropped my SUV off Friday February 14, 2020 and my vehicle was ready yesterday February 17,2020. I am very pleased and would recommend their team to anyone. They can get busy, so make sure to be patient because they will give you a call back. Thank you to the Rowland Auto Services team!

Leslie did fast and honest work to replace my rear wheel bearing. Labor was only $85. I will be sure to come back to him for future repairs. Be aware though that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH. I didn't know that when I went, but he said don't worry about it just bring it back to him when I had the chance. Who does that anymore? Definitely a trustworthy business.

Been coming here a little over a year after moving to East Point. Every time I’ve called Leslie he’s fit me in. As well as my husband. Honest, fair priced, and you leave having peace of mind. No matter where we move to in the greater Atlanta area I will always come back here.

Had an alternator replacement done here - price as expected with fast and curtious service. I would recommend to anyone and will return if something else goes wrong with my car. Walking distance to MARTA too!

Stranded on the road in the middle of the night. AAA offered to tow me to any shop of my choice. The Hampton Inn front desk lady was local and without hesitation directed me to Rowlands. I had a good sleep and was dropped off to Rowlands the next morning by the hotel staff. I was met by friendly people with a genuine interest in solving the problem of my vehicle. My car was #2 to get into the bay. What could have been a new starter, power cord, alternator was boiled down to a repositioning the relay I messed up in the middle of the night, and cleaning the contact point. These guys know vehicles like the back of their hand. My vehicle roared back to life. I felt safe and got a big bang for my dollars. Thank you Jim!!

Be sure you have any agreements in writing. If you don't, you may find they change their mind on a deal without letting you know. I trusted them based on Google reviews and a handshake agreement after speaking to Leslie in person. It looks like they do good work, but based on my experience, I'll never recommend them.

BEST AUTO REPAIR SHOP I'VE EVER KNOWN. The transmission cable on my car broke and Les, the manager, personally drove to my house and fixed the car so I could get it to the shop. He found a part to repair it and charged me half what anyone else would have. I almost had to beg for him to charge me anything. If it sounds unreal, it's because this business exists on a different plane than the rest of the world these days.
