My wife and I use Autohaus for all services for both of our VW vehicles. The staff is friendly, honest, efficient, and always got the problem solved without issue. They even have a lounge downstairs if you need to wait for your car!
These guys are great. I own a 997.2 Turbo and am new to it coming from a 991.2 C2S I was a bit worried about maintenance. About 800 miles into ownership the car threw a check engine light and started misfiring
After finding old service records, I saw another shop had quoted the previous owner an insane amount to replace the high pressure fuel pump, but I couldn’t find anything about plugs or coils ever being done. (I felt that plugs and coils are the culprit here) I called and spoke with Noah, who immediately told me they don’t just diagnose based on P-codes, they take the time to properly inspect and confirm before throwing parts at a problem. That put me at ease.
I dropped the car off last Wednesday and sure enough they found the Alpharetta shop had only replaced one coil and what I had were most likely originals. They completed a full replacement, and today I drove 80+ miles… The car runs flawlessly. Excellent communication, fair pricing, and they truly made me feel like a valued customer. I’ll for sure be coming back and recommending them to friends.
My first time coming here with my car was great. the second time for an oil change great and when we ran into a small issue everything was handled with grace and professionalism. I trust them with my car, and with my car being an older BMW model i can rely on them to keep things consistent and reliable. I appreciate the work they all have done on my car and would recommend their services to anyone. Joseph and the rest of the team were also welcoming and easy to talk to. 10/10 I would recommend.
They always do great work and make cost effective recommendations. I’ve been to other Audi mechanics over the last 15+ years and I can honestly say that Autohaus social is definitely the best. So happy they are walking distance from my house!

I brought my Porsche to this shop in 2024 due to a strong vibration issue. Based on my own research, I suspected the problem was related to the engine motor mounts. After calling Autohaus, I was given an initial estimate, which they later stated was too low and they need to have the vehicle inspected. The shop informed me that the issue was instead with the front suspension and advised that a rebuild would resolve the aggressive vibration.
After the suspension work was completed, the vibration issue remained exactly the same when I started the car at pickup. When I raised this concern, I was then told the problem might be with the differential mounts, but that they could not provide an estimate without one first coming from the Porsche dealership.
Ultimately, I sought a second opinion from another reputable shop. There, I received an accurate diagnosis, a fair quote, and the problem was resolved. As I originally suspected, the issue was indeed the engine motor mounts.
I left this experience disappointed by the misdiagnosis, unnecessary work, and lack of accountability.
Had my car repaired at Autohaus Social and they did an awesome job. The whole process was super smooth — they kept me in the loop, explained everything clearly, and got the work done right. It’s not always easy to find a shop you can trust, but these guys really delivered. Great service, great communication, and my car feels brand new. Definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Autohouse Social. I used them for the first time for an oil change on a 2005 VW Jetta TDI. They kept me posted on the work being done and completed it in a timely manner. The staff was very professional and helpful.
The staff is great! I don't drive a European car but got a flat on Ponce de Leon Ave and pulled in here on a whim right as they were closing. They did me a huge favor and changed out the flat for my spare on the spot in about 5 minutes! So appreciative of their help in a stressful situation

Poor experience with the shop manager. Joseph in particular was incredibly rude and short sited. Maybe he misread the situation and had a bad day.
While talking with service reps to understand everything, I was rudely told to come pick up my car in the midst of approving work to be done by Joseph via text message. Mind you I have never met this person or talked to him prior:
Anyone who has taken their car to a mechanic knows that you do not always approve all the work and you would want to understand the process, costs and timelines associated.
While talking with the wonderful service consultants, Joseph jumped in and said “why did you take you car to us if you are not going to let us fix it” -obviously that’s not what I was doing and was in process to approve some of the work. And frankly, they could have charged me the diagnostic fee regardless if I didn’t approve anything.
He then followed up with a “why don’t you come get your car and that they no longer are willing to work on it” -I know, you may be thinking -this guy Mikey agitated the situation. Anyone who knows me will say that I do ask many questions and that I am kind, warm and a patient man. I acted no different.
May give a second chance, but very discouraged. Customers be very specific when establishing expectation. I am someone who grew up around mechanics and the garage business, It can feel like real family, but this day I felt judged and disrespected.
Amazing customer service and knowledgeable staff! I am a new Porsche owner and as a female it's nice to go into a service center that is so friendly and great at explaining and working with me! I'm going back for a repair next week and will continue to use them afterwards

I was having issues with my A/C on my older model BMW, and needed a service center that I could trust with a vehicle I only serviced at the dealers in the past. After moving away from my old reliable dealer and not yet feeling comfortable with the quality of major repairs at the new dealer location, I needed something new. It's a nice, organized center with a team that works well together. They even greeted me by my name when I walked in. They resolved my A/C issue in no time, and kept me up to date on the repairs. I wasn't left with sticker shock either. I would definitely go back. The dealer service shop can keep their snacks.
I was very impressed with my experience at Autohaus Social today, despite being fully booked, they squeezed me in for an emergency to get me back on the road fast! Joseph and Noah were fantastic—super hospitable, passionate, and knowledgeable car enthusiasts who genuinely care. Their expertise and customer-first attitude make this place stand out. I was referred to Autohaus Social by a friend. I needed work done on my Audi and it’s out of the factory warranty. The guys at Autohaus Social are great. They are so professional and honest, which is huge for me. I received an estimate from them right after I made my appointment. After just one visit, I will not use any other mechanics. They are great. I was also able to work from there while I waited for my car. The WiFi was excellent.
I have a 2018 BMW M2 that was out of factory warranty. My car went into limp mode and I checked the code to find an issue with my turbocharger. I was looking to go ahead and upgrade the turbo because this seemed like the perfect opportunity. After looking up Dinan Certified shops, Autohaus Social came up as one of the only ones in the area. I set everything up with Noah, who was great! (Attentive, Responsive, Considerate, and on the ball throughout) and the whole shop was very knowledgeable and very welcoming. They were able to finish installation and get me my car back in a little over a week. I have had the new Turbo, Manifold, Tune, Etc. for several months now with 0 issues and the car has been running awesome. I highly recommend and will be using them in the future for my M car needs.

My experience here was excellent! Came here on a referral for a coolant leak. Although they work on appointments only over the phone he allowed me to bring it in immediately! The service was reasonably priced. Everyone provided great customer service in a timely and friendly manner. Additionally they kept me updated in real-time with video and audio technology updates! If you prefer to talk they will do that as well. Came back today for an oil change and I will continue to have them take care of all my Porsche Maintenance !!!!

The ENTIRE team at Autohaus Social were a great pleasure to deal with. In an effort to be ready for mountain driving, I had them do an overall inspection and mount/road force balance new tires. I could not be happier with the experience, the service, or the confidence the car inspired. It instilled a great deal of confidence by having professionals do tire work, rather than a run-of-the-mill wheel shop that can have a one track mind. If you need work on a German auto, there isn't a better option in the metro Atlanta area - IMO!!!
Highly recommend!!! Great customer service and professional service. We have been utilizing Autohaus Social since November of 2019. I recently brought my 2012 VW Golf R to Autohaus Social for an inspection and some routine maintenance. They completed an oil change and inspected my brakes. Brakes were fine; however they provided several different pad and rotor options for my next major brake service. They keep you updated with the status of your car through a very convenient online portal. Previously they took great care of my 2008 BMW M3. I don't trust many people with my cars, but I do trust Autohaus Social.
Autohaus Social performs all service and maintenance on my 2013 Golf R and 2018 Audi RS3. They are subject matter experts who are as meticulous as I am. They treat my vehicles as if they were the owners; no issues glossed over.
Autohaus Social has an incredibly straight forward and convenient web-based text / messaging system which keeps the customer informed of upcoming appointments, progress, concerns, and completion status. With each suggested maintenance / repair item the customer can approve or deny based on their needs / abilities.
I trust the Autohaus team with my cars and don’t see myself going to anyone else! My cars have never run better!
I am very pleased with the service level from Autohaus Social! Their attention to detail starts with the excellent level of communication: from appointment making to completion. The online system in great for keeping track of all the details of each visit. On my last visit they tackled a tough alignment on my BMW after some suspension upgrades. It was more challenging than they expected but the end result was spot on! The print out of the settings confirms what I see when driving: my car has never handled better! It’s worth the trip.
Lots of positive things to say about this place. First would be customer service. Great first impression, very much a consultative process and they are not out to try to talk you into fixing things that aren't immediately required. The process while your car is being fixed is also excellent. You receive regular texts and emails throughout each step in the process until your car is ready. When it is ready, and go over all the details of what was repaired and let you know if there's any additional things to keep an eye out for.
The facility itself is beautiful. It has a nice high-end appearance without the high-end prices. Furthermore, it's set up to be a social environment so you'll enjoy waiting for your car if you have to wait or using their free Wi-Fi or playing video games.
