This is too small for this review. Extremely unprofessional. RUDE! DEFENSIVE AND CROOKED. They rushed me out. Then the next day the Apple Watch detects someone rambling through the car. CROOKED CROOKED CROOKED! And will be handled by an attorney. DO NOT deal with these people

If I could give negative stars I would, so unprofessional this "business" is a joke, the lady in the office is beyond rude they refuse to let more then one person get everything out of the car that was totaled and only gave 10 minutes to let the person go through the car they need to be shut down

This business needs to be shut down. Prior to my vehicle getting towed here there were no problems or notifications on the dashboard saying there were any issues. Once I came to get my vehicle back there were several lights on my dashboard indicating issues. Someone from this business also stole money and two bottles of cologne out of my vehicle. Why are you all looking around for something to take?! Everyone that works here is rude and needs to be trained in customer service. This place has zero good reviews for a reason, keep your cars away from this low budget establishment.

All tow trucks are bad but this place is unorganized the people are rude, unprofessional, liars, and irresponsible the front desk lady is very rude and honestly doesn’t seem intelligent at all she doesn’t know what she is saying seems like she’s confused on her on job and can’t explain things thoroughly or correct even to have this be the first face you deal with is not a good start next let’s talk about outrageous pricing towing is going to be expensive but this company adds on every single fee that they can think of to maximize profits tow truck attendees are slow to retrieve my car after I paid I waited almost an hour and a half to get my car out and their is damage to my vehicle they said that it was already on the car and lastly MAKE SURE YOU COME WITH CASH they will try and say anything to not use the credit card machines I’m feeling because they don’t want to pay taxes and they want to avoid all the processing fees

Terrible company , called many times to keep track of the price to have my car released just to be told something totally different the next day when i got there. Information wasn’t relayed right over the phone and now I have to pay extra for it. Terrible experience

MY CAR WAS REPORTED STOLEN WE FOUND THE CAR AND RETRIEVED THE RELEASE, WE PAID FOR TOWING AND STORGE TO GET CAR BACK THEY STILL DIDNT RELEASE . AFTER PAYING FOR THE RELEASE OF THE VEHICLE THEY STILL REFUSED WE WERE TOLD THE CAR HAD TO BE TOWED TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION EVEN THOUGH THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEABLE AND HAD A GOOD TAG AND FULLY INSURE. WE SENT OUR OWN TOW TRUCK AND THEY STILL REFUSD TO RELEASE THE VEHICLE.

The front window lady and manager Lester were VERY RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Anytime I asked about the auction she had an attitude but gladly took my $6500. I will never refer or purchase from this business again. She told me the yard closed at 7 but at 5 a worker came and said they close at 5 and it’s 50 to pull the car to the front. My key man was 4 miles away.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is hands down the worst place your car could ever end up. My vehicle was towed after an accident—already a traumatic experience—but what followed was an absolute nightmare. The company doesn't clearly communicate that you're only allowed one visit to your car. By the time you find that out, it's too late. Getting access to the vehicle is a bureaucratic maze designed to exhaust you. The staff are unhelpful, cold, and seem to take satisfaction in making your situation even worse. My car was already wrecked, and they made sure I suffered even more after that. No compassion, no decency—just pure indifference. To anyone dealing with this company: be prepared to lose time, patience, and possibly your sanity. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

Evil company stealing money from poor people who had their car towed. They make it difficult to get your car out so they can squeeze all your money out. Evil. They said I had to drive all the way there to get this form to take to the jail. They don’t have it on their website. They will not email it. Turns out the jail already has said form. So they lied to make the process take longer to steal more money. There should be a law against their predatory pricing and practices.

Imagine your car breaking down while you’re getting off the highway late at night…a police over pulls over to assist and call you a tow…then the tow truck driver comes and tells me it’ll be $125 to take the car a half mile up the road. As i’m talking to the driver I can hear some loud woman he’s on the phone with (probably dispatch) telling him to charge me even more! Just to get it over with I said okay fine let’s do it so I can get to the safety of my own home…then he says CASH ONLY?? Excuse me? It’s almost 2025 what legitimate business would operate on cash on premises? The city of atlanta should be ashamed of themselves for contracting such a low-integrity company to do business with. I can only imagine how many people they’ve scammed. 0/10 horrible experience I didn’t feel comfortable at all

If I could give a negative 1000 stars I would. I hope NATALIE boss sees this review and reaches out. I called because I needed to give authorization or find out what I need to do to get my wrecked vehicle released to ALFA insurance. I already signed an authorization through them to get the vehicle released. This company wants me to get a notarized letter form myself releasing the vehicle to the insurance company. I called and a man answered the phone I asked for Natalie and he transferred me to her personal cell phone by his mistake when she answered I began asking about the task above and she started saying what you want you called my personal phone. Maam no I didnt because I dont even know your phone She began to tell me no one up front would ever do that. SO I hung up and called the main number back low and Behold she stated she walked up front to answer the phone. Place me on a brief hold to speak with NAtalie(it was her who was rude) then the original guy who transferred me answered I told him your the one who transferred me to her cell phone and you need to apologize to me and her. She also needs to come back to the phone and apologizing for calling me a lie like I just know her personal cell. It doesn't make sense. I want to come up there and act my color but Ima leave this review here for people to know when they call they may have to lose their respect to get yall in check. VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. HER: Talking about everyone in this office is nice and IF THAT WAS THE CASE IM STILL WAITING ON MY APOLOGY. Natalie needs a new JOB and some Disney Customer service classes. This man placed me on hold acted like ima hang up when he came back to the phone he asked how I could be helped I said I'm waiting on my apology he told me it would never happen. I GAVE UP. ILL let my husband come handle what needs to be handled CAUSE I ALREADY KNOW ILL BE GOING ON RICE STREET IF I COME UP THERE.

Terrible place. Called just to see if car was there and when I was getting VIN I was hung up on. Whoever was on the phone was rude and disrespectful like it isn’t her job to simply answer questions. If that’s so difficult then quit ur job. I rear ended and randomly had my car towed without being told where it was going. Had to find out from an incident report from the paper I got from the police. Since I had no car I had to wait for my dad to come down which was that next Friday because I had school. They never said anything about all these fees and told me that if I wanted to get my car towed home it would be $125 extra with $5 per mile. I got in an accident on the interstate and my home is 50 miles away. They just look for money and it is obvious. Never met a more disrespectful company. The person at the gate plus the lady at the front desk have to go. There’s no way they are actually able to keep a job talking the way they do. And I guarantee if I said anything back I’d be in the wrong.

I was involved in a car accident and South Metro Towing rushed to tow my car without even informing me of where it was going. When I tried to retrieve my car to release it to the insurance company, I arrived at 6:57 PM, just before their closing time at 7 PM, only to find the doors already locked. I was told to return at 8 AM, but without a car, how I am supposed to get there? When my insurance company called, they were met with rude and nasty behavior. The staff here are some of the rudest, most disrespectful people I've encountered. They rushed to tow my car, knowing they were about to close, just so they could keep it overnight. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone; they don't even deserve one star. This was the worst experience I've had, and I haven't even picked up my car yet. Avoid them at all costs.

The bald lady at the front has a trash attitude. When I called her out and asked her why she spoke to me like a criminal she turned soft. Anywho I have dashcam footage of the tow truck driver dragging a rwd car on its back wheels with a tow bar, which destroyed the transmission scratched the bumper and exhaust. The cam also shows the tow dropping my car off on the side of the hwy at a different location from where it was picked up. And then came back to pick it up again. The hood panel is sticking out and the hood latch doesn’t work. Scratches all over the car and transmission ruined. The only valuable item I had in the car was a surefire light and someone stole it. Not surprised either. They did this to a rare Lexus GSF it was in show room condition. Truck #119 driver #137 is a junkie

Saturday was the second time I utilized this company. They were to drop my vehicle off at the Hennessy Buick GMC (which I was very specific about). It is also the same place they dropped the vehicle 2weeks ago. This morning I am very disappointed that my vehicle was dropped at another location (Not the address given to them ;across the street?). My dealer will not release a loaner to me until they have possession of my vehicle . The male on the phone (manager as stated) was RUDE, unconcerned, self righteous and entirely in the wrong. He strongly insisted they dropped the car at the address given which is a lie. He basically acted as if no mistake was made. After realizing his mistake he called and attempted an apology which I do not accept without full refund of the funds given for a job not done. He stood on the wrong type business. Now I am requesting a full refund for service not rendered. My suggestion is to learn to conduct business with accuracy and integrity. Poor service and no accountability. This is the last of my money you all will receive.

Thank you to the office workers who were very helpful with helping me understand which documents to have ready for when I arrived to pick up my vehicle after it was stolen and recovered. Be sure to take cash to pay when you pick up your car; that seemed to be the best method of payment.

SCAMMERS Worst Tow place ever. If I could give 0 stars I would 5 times over. Atlanta Police Department should have no business with these SCAMMERS. Very predatory and money hungry tactics. This place will keep your car hostage. They will squeeze every dime they can out of you. Very unprofessional staff. The women at the front desk are rude and will laugh at you in your face. My cars front end was damaged in an accident. How every the car drives fine. They would not let me drive it off the lot to the front of the location, so I can have it towed to another location by another company, because their tow man deemed the car to be “un-driveable”. Just so they can charge me an extra $80 to tow my vehicle from off their lot to the outside of their fence in the front of the same location. These people have no decency or integrity.

Overall, I had a decent experience getting my car back after it was stolen. Some notes for anyone in a similar situation: * The only form of ID they accept is driver's license. I could not use my passport. I needed to get a replacement for lost/stolen license at the DMV before showing up (temporary paper license was accepted) * You don't need to bring your title, but you do need to know the last 6 digits of your VIN * You cannot pay using someone else's card. I tried to use my wife's debit card but they would not take it (my cards were in the vehicle). I needed to walk almost a mile to the nearest ATM to withdraw cash. You must pay either with cash or with a card owned by the title owner * The hours say "24 hours" but they don't actually open to the public until 9am. I arrived around 8:10am, and one of the employees was kind enough to let me wait in the waiting room until 9 Overall I would say the employees were kind and helpful. The low rating is mostly related to some unfortunate rules/circumstances that I know the employees probably have nothing to do with. I ended up paying $247 - $122.50 towing charge, $25 storage charge (1 day), $52.50 APD fee, $25 release fee, $20 notification fee, and $2 "obtaining owner info charge"

I wish I could give them 0 Stars. I'm still dealing with these people trying to get my car. They keep telling my insurance company that my car isn't located there. I was just there the day prior to sign release papers for my car. The people there are Extremely Unprofessional especially some lady named Tisha who hung up on my multiple times. The worst customer support experience ever. I'm retired from The City of Atlanta and having been living in Fulton County for years. I know multiple people that are retired from APD and some that work there currently I will do everything in my will to make sure their contract with APD is not renewed. This is absolutely ridiculous and a poor representation of Fulton County businesses

After reading the reviews I was afraid of what I would walk into. Grateful the process to release my vehicle to my insurance was quick and efficient. The lady at the front was friendly and helpful. Maybe it’s the time you come haha. I came on a Sunday morning and was the only customer there.

The worst customer service you will ever experience in your natural life. Period. Apd needs to terminate their relationship with them bc they are terrible. Literally every single time I have had to use them has been awful. The people in the office are RUDE and difficult for no apparent reason. It’s really sad because how can you be so mean and rude at a customer service job. People who have to use their service are typically already stressed enough just being in a difficult situation. They all need to find a job that doesn’t require public interaction bc simple transactions are made so freaking difficult there. Prepare to be given a hard time bc baby they don’t ever miss when it comes to being rude with all their ignorant signs up and stank attitudes.

Our stolen vehicle was in a crash and south metro held our vehicle for 5 days before ever contacting us that they have it and charged us for those 5 days. We paid almost 500 to get our truck. They told us it had a little damage to the right side but the whole truck was smashed in and totaled. Wouldn’t even let us see it. Nevertheless they wouldn’t even give it to us until we had it towed and we were out 800 plus a vehicle because it was stolen on Christmas Eve. All because they wanted money. Greed at its finest.

Very Disrespectful and Rude customer service. They intentionally will mislead you by lying and will give you the run around by giving you false information to keep your vehicle at all costs. If you have to use their service for any reason Please go with a witness, camera, microphone, news crew, and a Lawyer for your protection and Proof of evidence that they are Wrongfully using their authority and services to take advantage of people.

Customer service is the worst at this location. I was rear ended and my truck was towed to this location. Instead of waiting on insurance to figure everything out, I want to pay to get my truck out to my home address and deal with problems later. Once arrived at location, they do not speak to you. They ask for your number and make you wait until they call you. I’ve been waiting for 3 hours and nobody still has called. I called the location to see what’s the hold up and they hung up on me. There’s one lady working and she’s extremely rude how places stays open like this with lack of professionalism assumes me. All I wanted to do is just pay their $225 for my truck being towed 9 hrs ago and it’s a challenged. They’re the worst. Good luck dealing with them.

The customer service is horrible. I traveled from another state pick up my car that was towed. The girl at the front desk said it was towed for no insurance and then she said it was parked in the wrong place. She told me she needed proof of insurance. There was never a lapse in coverage. I emailed the declaration page while standing in front of her. The dates clearly showed coverage from May - November. They picked the car up 7-28-20. Then she looked at the proof and still said it needs to show before the tow date- What? I said let's call Geico. She said, I need to speak with a supervisor. I said, go get the Supervisor. Oh, he's not here he's on break. At that moment, I almost lost it. I told her I don't have time for this, I traveled from out of state and I have a tow truck outside. Finally, she said I will release it. I said how much is it? Before, I could get my debit out of my purse she said your name has to be on the card. And it is! So, I pay she releases the car. They couldn't find it! 2 hours at this place!!!!!! I finally got the car.
