The Carvana process was so simple due to due diligence from employees and ethical upfront behavior from all parties. I would recommend this company to ANYONE with valid information who is seeking a professional experience.

Terrible experience all around. Delivery was cancelled/delayed the day of delivery. Rescheduling delivery required re-signing the contract. The system would never reload the “new” contract. Very happy to cancel the order and will never do business with Carvana again.

Terrible customer service. Sold me a vehicle with rotors that needed resurfacing on a 2 year old car. What happened to the 150 point inspection? Don't even think about the 7 day guarantee, you must start the buying process all over again, they send your check back to your finance company and request a new check for the new car you want to exchange. Nothing but a hassle. Calling customer service is a joke, they are no help.

I recently bought a 2023 Buick Encore GX through Carvana and had a great experience. The entire process was smooth and easy. Delivery was right on time, and the drop-off took less than 10 minutes. Signing the final paperwork and getting the keys was fast and hassle-free. I also traded in my old GMC truck with 307,000 miles on it, and I was just glad they took it. That part alone made things so much easier. The Buick was just as described online for the most part. There were a couple of small things that weren’t disclosed. The front bumper had some chipped paint, and the back left speaker is blown from the previous owner. I just avoid turning up the bass, which is fine since I don’t really need to in this car. Oh, and the key fob battery was almost dead so the keyless entry was not working the first week until I changed the key battery. They probably knew that.. or did not check. I am going to complain that they dropped the car off with only a half tank, like c'mon, you can top off the gas. I see why people complain about easy stuff the company can improve on to increase satisfaction. I absolutely love my new car. It drives great and fits my needs perfectly. I would definitely buy from Carvana again.

Not happy with our experience!!! We get there for our appointment after we pushed it out 3 days from when they said the car will be ready and it wasn't. Then we find out the car has more imperfections then they said. We decided to live with it. Now after 2 days of driving it and over the allowed miles because we live over 2hrs away. The vehicle is having issues. What an inconvenience the warranty is! The only in-network service center is 2hrs away with $100 deductible. They definitely didn't go through this vehicle with 150 point inspection. No antifreeze and has cylinder 3 misfire. No good!!!!

The experience was very good. I don't have any complaints about the experience. The young ladies that delivered the car were thorough in explaining the process. They were pleasant and gave me time to ask questions, I really appreciated their great customer service. The only thing I would add is that it would be great if Carvana would do basic maintenance on their cars, such as toping off fluids (brake fluids, transmission fluids, etc.), replacing air filters, and ensuring the breaks are good. Overall, my experience was very good and I will more than likely purchase from Carvana again.

We have bought 4 cars with Carvana in the past dating back to 2014. We were about to buy a 5th, even though we had some reservations, as we have noticed their customer service has gone down hill fast with every car we bought. We should have trusted our instinct. The car we wanted was not represented well in the pics. The interior looked horrible and the pics didn’t show that. There was also more issues with the exterior not documented. They make you send the deposit before you even see the car in person. So, they have your money. We canceled the purchase due to the issues, and now we will not get our money back for another 2-3 weeks, and that is after we called to find out when we would get refunded. They hadn’t said a thing, and would have held our money until we eventually called. Buyers beware. They will take your money immediately before seeing a car, but not give it back for weeks. We are done with Carvana!

My Carvana sale went smoothly, as I handled most of it online! I filled out info about my vehicle, set an appointment for next day pick up, and they had my funds ready immediately after doing a walk through of the car!

Saturday, September 06, 2025: Looking to purchase vehicle I started off with a positive impression of Carvana, but after reviewing some recent feedback, I’ve come across a few concerns that give me pause. I think it might be wise to explore other options before making a purchase. Note: My insights are based solely on consumer recent reviews, as I haven't made a purchase myself yet.

I got into a really bad car accident a few months ago. I travel a lot and have been looking for a hybrid. So when I saw Carvana had a 2018 hybrid with less than 18k miles, I had to jump on it. The buying process is simple and straightforward. I elected to go to the vending machine for the experience. Although, they would have delivered a day sooner. The staff there is nice. Alondra assisted in making sure all of our paperwork was in order and the car was ready. I had a little bit of a wait for them to finish detailing. I thought they would just drive the car out afterwards. Instead, Alondra, put the car up just for me to do the vending thing. She asked if I wanted to test drive, explained the return policy, and basically walked away. It doesn’t get any easier to purchase a car. The financing is also just as straightforward. If you know what you’re looking for and don’t need to test a few vehicles, this is an easy buy.

So far selling a car has been a nightmare. Setting up the appointment was very simple and easy. The day of (today) I got a call from “Rodriguez” letting me know his ETA was 12:55 PM - I let him know I had set this up on behalf of my dad as he is the owner but not tech savvy. He asked that I have my father fill out the paper work before his arrival. He completed the paper work like he requested. At 1:20 PM he called again letting me know that if I was not present he could not do the appointment as I was the seller and he needed my ID and signature. I explained again that I was not the title owner nor seller nor can I even legally sell this car as it’s not mine and it clearly stated that the title owner must be present, he insisted that if I wasn’t there we could not move forward. I asked again, what do I have to do with this or why do I need to sign anything as I am not the owner of the vehicle. He just kept saying I had to reschedule. We hung up and I called customer service and spoke to William and Sherri? They both did not understand why he would have said that and bailed on the appointment when their policy is clear that the only person that needs to be present is the title owner. This company was recommended to me by a friend and it’s clear that they probably just got lucky with their experience The only pleasant part about this experience is William and Sherri. I am rescheduled to Sunday 9/7 from 8-11 so I hope to be able to change my opinion then.

I purchased a 2014 Corvette from Carvana in May 2025. Within the 7-day return period, an independent shop inspection noted signs of water intrusion along with other imperfections (dash worse than advertised, slightly leaking shocks, etc.). I was willing to live with those issues because the car was a rare find and some were common for this model year. The water intrusion did not appear severe, and I replaced the windshield at my own expense believing that resolved it. Unfortunately, additional problems appeared soon after: interior trim pieces coming loose, audio system sounding faulty, and the transmission intermittently popping out of first and second gear. Then, a heavy rain revealed the water leak was still significant despite the windshield replacement. By that point, the 7-day return period had expired. Carvana refused to take responsibility and referred me to their warranty partner, SilverRock. SilverRock only directed me to small local shops unqualified to work on a high-performance car, and a dealer told me SilverRock would almost certainly deny any claims related to water intrusion or leaks. When I tried to escalate for a buyback, I got nothing but runaround: repeated transfers, promises of follow-up that never came, and no resolution. Eventually, my only option was to sell the car back to Carvana at a steep loss. Not only did I lose over $10,000 in less than 3 months, Carvana even reduced their final offer by $500 for “cosmetic flaws” that were present when they originally sold me the vehicle. I did not feel it was right to sell the car to an individual buyer knowing it had undisclosed water damage, but I felt less bad returning it to Carvana since they sold it to me this way. Carvana advertises peace of mind and rigorous inspections. Instead, they sold me a car with undisclosed water damage, denied responsibility, and forced me to absorb a massive financial loss. Minor Update: After the vehicle was picked up, I contacted customer service (as the pickup employees suggested). Customer service told me there was nothing they could do about the $500 deduction and that I should have negotiated with the delivery drivers. But the drivers had already told me they had no control and to contact support. Yet another example of how absolutely no one at Carvana takes ownership of an issue or provides a straight answer.

Received a car that had very strong smoke smell, I returned it and go another car that came with very bad breaks. I had to do a lot to get it fixed causing me to miss work. No one informed me of this issue as it says it passes a “7 point inspection”. Very disappointed with the quality of care for the vehicle. Will be the last time buying from carvana.

I have bought 2 cars from Carvana and my first one was a good car but it sure was disgusting!! My 2nd one NOT GOOD AT ALL. Got it and it needed a transmission immediately then I have a flat so I go to a tire shop to see that 3 of the 4 tires that came on the car are showing wire and are dry rotted. So, not only am I stuck with a car that doesn’t work right… they didn’t care about the safety of peoples lives that could have been seriously injured selling a car like that. WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS AGAIN

In the beginning it was a great experience but after that it all went down hill. Had to replace engine before first payment was even due. Then the oil sensor went bad and now remanufatured engine they put in maybe bad now. We have not even put 6000 miles on vehicle and can not enjoy vehicle and of course carvana will not do anything about this problem. I do not recommend them to anyone ever.

Underhanded business practices when selling your car to Carvana! They failed to reach out to me for proof that I had a title in hand, even when I reached out to them proactively. My offer then expired and I was told to refresh it. The refreshed offer for my car was then $600 less than they offered a week ago, of no fault of my own. They clearly deceived me and tried to bait and switch once I'd already decided to sell my car. I would never recommend using this service.

They mistakenly processed a purchase for a car they could not sell me. They are unavailable but phone and have not yet processed the refund even though it’s been two weeks. They haven’t offered any form of restitution and I can’t afford to buy another car because they have my money. Initially, I was told they would cancel the withdrawal because it hadn’t processed on their end and they couldn’t sell me the car. The money was withdrawn anyway, but then I was told it would take 3-5 business days to process. But then, it turns out it takes them up to 10-15 days after receiving the money to even process the refund. They have had nearly 20k of my money for weeks and I still can’t get them on the phone, can’t get my money back, and can’t get a car. All from an error on their end. Do not do business with these people. Edit: check out their lowest possible rating on consumer reports. I did eventually get my money back but no compensation for the various expenses I incurred because of their errors.

The entire process was seamless and I was able to get $1000 more than what Car Max was quoting me. I opted for the car to be picked up from my house which I was charged a $90 fee for. The driver was courteous. He inspected the car, did a quick test drive, and scan the vehicle for any fault codes. After everything checked out, I received the full amount that was quoted online. It was a hassle free transaction over all. Will definitely consider Carvana again in the future.

Carvana was the first place I looked to sell my vehicle. Honestly, I wasted my time checking with other dealers. I checked with 5 others, and none of them came close to what Carvana offered for my car. One dealer offered $5,000 less. Another one offered $3,000 less. None of those other dealers cared about the low mileage and the like new condition my car was in. If you want a fair price for your vehicle without haggling, Carvana is the place to go! Thank you so much! It was a pleasure dealing with you!

my experience with Carvana deserves to be shared as a warning to others. From the buying process to customer service and communication, it was nothing short of frustrating. First, they were extremely quick to pull the funds from my account — almost instantly. But when the deal fell through due to issues on their end, suddenly it takes 10 to 15 business days to return my money? That’s unacceptable, especially in today’s digital age. This was not only for 1 but 2 vehicles within the last 3 day’s. Communication was also a major issue. Getting clear answers from anyone at Carvana felt impossible. I was bounced around from one rep to another, each one giving conflicting information or vague responses. No one seemed to be on the same page, and no one took ownership of the situation. Overall, the process was messy, slow, and full of empty promises. I expected a smoother, more transparent experience from a company that markets itself as a modern solution to car buying. I won’t be recommending Carvana to anyone, and I certainly won’t be using them ever!!!

I purchased a vehicle last month that I’m really happy with. The buying process at Carvana is seamless and hassle free! The first vehicle that I chose did not meet my needs, so I took advantage of their return policy and Sky was there to help me with the transaction! Sky was so hospitable and polite, and he moved us right on through our exchange! I took the vehicle in for a pre purchase inspection, and it passed—so hopefully I will have this vehicle for years to come. I definitely recommend Carvana for those who do not enjoy the traditional dealership experience.

Well, I was very impressed with how Carvana handled the purchase of my car. The process seemed very professional and efficient, UNTIL I went to the bank to deposit my check. They would not accept it because they said a code was missing at the bottom of the check. I had detached a stub which appeared to be blank, but I came back home and got the stub and went to the bank to see if there was a code on that stub that was not visible to me. Nothing there! Had to wait forever to be connected to someone with Carvana. ended up driving back to Atlanta to get another check. Was there almost 2 hours with someone holding on the line from Carvana to make sure that I was being attended to. I have never been so frustrated in my life. Evidently the printer was not operating properly in the Atlanta office and certainly the staff should be trained to look at the check to make sure it is correct before handing to a customer. I spent four hours today working on this matter and now I have to go back to Atlanta tonight after 7 PM to pick up a replacement check. The process of getting a replacement check was unbelievable! Way too much red tape!!!

I did not have a positive experience with Carvana, as I tried for weeks to be able to purchase my dream vehicle. I was told I needed more paperwork and I even increased my down payment. I finally had enough with the process and canceled my order with an Advocate who tried to covince me to pick another car (so much for no hassel) and while on the phone with that same Carvana representative I was assured that I would receive a full refund including the shipping fee. They have now backtracked and now state that I am not entitled to over $ 500 shipping fee for a vehicle that was never shipped/ processed. I would recommend trying to go a traditional route to purchase your next vehicle because then you can be assured your full down payment will be refunded.

After 18 loyal years with my old roadster, I finally took the plunge and bought a new car on a total whim from Carvana. Why? Because my last car buying experience felt like an endurance test: endless lot hopping, awkward test drives, and that inevitable price standoff with a salesman and his mysterious manager in the back. Carvana completely flipped the script. They bought my old car, applied its value to my new ride, and delivered my shiny (used but mint) car right to my driveway on a flatbed truck. Then, they whisked away my roadster like a dignified retirement ceremony. Please join me in a moment of silence for my dear old friend pictured below. We shared years of wild nights, endless adventures, and more than a few questionable decisions together. Back to my new car, yes, it needed a good detail cleaning and I was not thrilled about replacing the brakes three weeks later (which really should have been covered by their premium coverage plan and I removed a star for that reason). But beyond that? No haggling, no sweaty handshake deals, and no full day wasted. As a woman, I especially appreciated the total absence of any “Are you sure you understand how financing works?” moments — no salesperson (usually a guy but not always) gaslighting in sight. I set my monthly payment, clicked through the process in about one hour, and did not have to talk to a single human if I did not want to. It was as painless as buying shoes online, except way more exciting.

Brandon was awesome in and out in less then 30 mins no complaints car is great but opted for something else and the exchange process has been smooth no bumps just straight through. It’s a fun to see the cars vending I think I enjoyed it more then my sons CX5 was shining like a candy

Fabulous sales experience from beginning to end. I recently sold my 2008 Lexus GS460 to Carvana. It was my first experience with this company but if future needs present I will definitely reach out to them again. Their sales process is seamless and the majority of the process is completed online with no need for you to leave home. I also really like the clear and concise communications Carvana provided. I highly recommend this business.

I was skeptical to use Carvana to sell my 2017 Subaru Legacy because their offer was ~20% higher than anyone else so I assumed there would be "a catch". But I rolled the dice and was absolutely delighted by the ease of the transaction. Quite literally the process was super simple, and the staff at drop off point were courteous and efficient. Then the EFT payment came in as expected and on time. Well done! I will definitely consider Carvana again in the future.

I’d give zero stars if I could. I spent 41k on a van, within the first drive I noticed it needed a wheel alignment. The about 17 miles into driving the tire pressure malfunction warning showed up and white smoke coming from the exhaust. Then about 15 miles later a warning appeared for over heating. All within 24hours of me receiving the van. They wanted me to take it to get looked at, pay a deductible and pay for a rental that they would reimburse me at a later date. All this happened within the first 2days. I would NOT spend money with them. I used outside financing as well. We were so excited about the van only to be disappointed and time WASTED!

The process was very simple to be able to sell a car. We had a 2014 Mustang with fairly high mileage and wanted to sell it easily. The Carvana offer aligned with what we were expecting. Once we accepted the offer they came the next day and quickly took the vehicle away. We actually received electronic payment the next day. It was one of the easiest things I’ve ever done.

I had the best car buying experience with Carvana! I have sold and now purchased a car using their service. It is the easiest car buying experience ever! I had an awesome service rep named Brittany Askew at the Atlanta, GA location. She was very detailed with walking me through the process and enthused for my purchased. I love how personable she was and it went a long way because after today my partner and I have agreed to only purchasing uses vehicles from Carvana moving forward. They have great coverage for buyers which displays their confidence in the vehicles which they offer to customers to purchase. Overall I’m very impressed with my experience and look forward to working with Carvana in the future.
