Very friendly got paid for my scrap metal within 10 minutes of pulling up. Make sure you go all the way to the back at the top of the hill on the left. The place at the bottom is not the place you're looking for.
Been going to these guys for years for scrap , great place to go if you want honest pricing for your scrap metal . Make sure you go to the top of the hill on the left , not the lower site . That guy charges you to drop off your scrap then re-sells it to make more .
Guess I went to the wrong place.. though google said I was at the right place, oh well. I had read on line that if you cleaned an aluminum wheel rim off it could be recycled - pleasant guy but he said oh no, they didn’t buy aluminum it was just a drop off point for metal scrap. He already had it out of my trunk and the thought of lugging it home did not appeal - guess I should have called first and made sure I was going to the right place
Not real happy about stripping 10-12 radiators, some of them giant diesel radiators and 2 copper radiators, all weighing 200+ pounds for $115. Scales probably aren't accurate
Although they arev friendly there is only one way to get on the weigh scale and that is to back down a narrow path with junk on either side, then you have to pull off unload then back down the same narrow path to receive a piece of paper stating they will pay you the amount on a separate date I've never heard of this and will not be going back,you could possibly cost yourself more money than you're going to make by entering the premises
This guys are great, just hope more local businesses were this good with their customers. And they'll pay top price for your metals ... Cash... everyone else pays with checks.....
Great guys there. I don't sell a lot, but I do buy a lot. If you're looking for that thing to make into that other thing, go to Sweet Returns Recycling. Ask Steve if you can look around never know, but you might find a treasure...
