The pizza here is absolutely delicious. Sauce taste like it’s from scratch and could rival any of the high end Italian restaurants I’ve been to. My wife and I both got the small pizzas. She’s a cheese, pepperoni, and sauce woman. I like more variety on mine. I had the first bite and just waited for her to taste hers. She looked over at me and nodded. The service was decent, with good vibes. My daughter had the basil pizza and added pepperoni. She really enjoyed it. My son chose the meat lovers pizza for us, which was disappointing. The toppings were good, but the pizza wasn't cooked long enough and was soggy. There was something wet on the pizza tray. We had a small, medium, 2 fountain drinks and a bottle of juice. It was $40. I love the old school arcade games and the comic display was cool.

My main problem would be that everything felt like the quality was lacking for the price paid. I got a small pizza, calzone with sausage and all the onions and 2 drinks plus a 15% tip was nearly 40$. For quality that felt close to the level of papa John's or other fast food places im just a little disappointed. If youve never been i wouldnt reccomend going but if someone asked to meet up here I wouldn't say no. Its just good enough

Savage is one of our truly great local businesses. We love the variety of sauce and topping choices and the friendly and quick service. The only issue we have had is a slight drop-off in the consistency of quality of our pizzas. Sometimes they are baked perfectly while other pizzas have been blackened and overdone. We intend to continue purchasing from Savage but I must admit that we are turning to other local businesses more frequently when we are in the mood for takeout or delivery pizza.

Authentic Italian pizza... family friendly... reasonable pricing... Best tasting pizza I've had in Georgia... will be back

Very good pizza Visited on Labor Day weekend. Surprisingly quiet. Service was quick and efficient. Easy in and out. Plenty of parking. Good patio space for al fresco dining. I thought it would be overloaded with comic book memorabilia but this was not the case. There are only a few posters to suggest the theme. Fresh crisp salads were also available. Will visit again when in the neighborhood.

This was Deeelicious. I had a greek salad with cajun skrimp (yes, skrimp) and a small pie with garlic red, spinach and italian sausage. It was Deelish.

A pizza place with history in the city. People that frequent the inner city community enclaves are regulars here. The original location is in Little Five Points, where the restaurant aesthetics match the neighborhood. This one located in Avondale Estates is also full of 80s and 90s nostalgia. Unfortunately there is not much to say about the pizza. It's edible, but there's nothing to wow over. Decor ~ wonderful. Pie ~ average. A solid 3 all the way around. Actually a 3.5 because they have a Pac-Man arcade, TMNT Turtles In Time, and NBA JAM. If you're hungry, this place will do ??‍♂️.

Pulled into savage pizza parking lot at 3:55 pm monday. Could see employees inside but open sign was not lit yet . Called the location while I was in the lot. Employee immediately answers, and said hold please. Other than what's assumed a couple of cars that belong to the employees, I'm the.only car in the lot. 15 minutes later these ppl still have me on hold. Now I have decided to just go to Avondale Pizza cafe right around the corner , have place my to go order, and would have to assume savage pizza just doesn't want the business.... The employee did finally answer the call and I explained to her the consequences of disrespecting customers by leaving them on hold for 15+ mins before answering.At 425 I had already received my pizza from the Avondale Pizza Cafe and drove back by The Savage to see that there were two more additional cars in the parking lot but still no open sign on. By the way, the pizza from Avondale Pizza Cafe is absolutely fantastic

The comic book themed restaurant was cool! The staff were awesome and the pizza was delicious! Highly recommend you check them out!

I had a great time eating pizza with my daughter! We each had a personal pizza and we played Pac-Man and ninja turtles afterwards! Pizza was good atmosphere was fun. We will return

I've come to this place several times.. good customer service. Both pizza and salad were tasty. There was some cheese missing on a few parts but it didn't affect the way the pizza taste.

Our go-to pizza place when we just want something good without over-thinking it. Great quality at a reasonable price. Savage Pizza has creative signature pies-- we try to pick something new each time! The crust is not too thick or thin. It's crispy and doesn't dominate the flavor of the pizza. Their caesar salad is a great side. It's always so fresh and crisp! Shout out to the staff-- they're so welcoming each time.

Wow delicious pies made with love. We ordered a simple half cheese and half pepperoni to get a baseline and that was top notch. We wanted to see their speciality pizza so today they had BBQ Cheeseburger that had so much flavor from the bbq sauce to the yellow onions it was so good. Next time I’m in this area that’ll be my go to spot for sure. Highly recommend Savage and their friendly staff.

Pizza and bread sticks are delicious. Definitely my favorite pizza place. A go to every time I'm craving pizza. I usually do the custom medium pizza with Canadian bacon and Pineapple. The small is perfect for a personal and medium is great to share between 2-3 people. The 6 fluffy bread sticks with garlic and parmesan cheese on top.

This is our go to for pizza but if you want a Greek salad then this is the place to be. Simple, fresh and oh so good. We always get the meat lovers. The sausage is SUPER good- the flavor is so bold!~ They're meatball sub is yummy. I was thoroughly impressed with the flavor. Everyone is always so courteous and the place is really clean. Bathrooms are spotless.

Very unique place. Pizza was definitely good. Service was a little slow, but I did get there pretty early in the day. Would definitely go back if in the area.

Pizza never looked so healthy! Got the Bacon, Spinach, Tomato 10" and added red onion and goats cheese. It might not look like much spinach on top, but there is a whole layer of spinach under the cheese. Loved the Marvel decor and they had a few comic based arcade machines. Was about a 3 minute wait on phone as it was just before 12, but worth it. Was told 20 minutes and it was ready when I got there in 20 mins. Today I got the Greek pizza and added tomato. So good. The artichoke was tender.

I just love WHITE PIZZA!!!!! In NY, i used to be able to get it by the slice.... here i have to get an entire pie.... That has served an issue prior because not everyone can do white pizza... but Savage can!!!! The size was great, the slices were large, and the crust was thin n crisp... NEW YORK PIZZA ME PLEASE! Enjoyed every bite!!!!!! Thats also why i dont have pictures of the pizza, lol... DEMOLISHED UPDATE!!!!! cause i went back and got another one lol... a cute small one... n got a picture before my daughter n I demolished it!!!! omg n it was soooooooo goooooddd!!!!!! (P.s her first time having n sheeeee loveddddddd) Also the first time i went was at night so today i got to see the cute outdoor space they have and yes i love this place... im going to visit everytime im on this side of town..!

I really really wanted to love this place! It's super close to my new home and I walk by it almost daily. We tried it just after moving in late last year and were all disappointed that they barely put any toppings on the pizza. I am not someone who needs edge to edge toppings but there was like 2 or 3 pepperoni on the entire pizza. If you're paying several dollars for each extra topping you'd expect to get at least a few on each slice, not across the whole pie. I decided to give it a second chance a few weeks back and ordered a medium pie with mushrooms and onions. Veggies are relatively cheap and so I hoped I'd get a better result. See photo attached- its still a really sad pizza overall. Such a shame, as they have a nice crust and a good sauce, and a great spot. The little 5 location was much more generous when I went there during the pandemic. I'd be happy to be a regular here if this gets addressed but for now, I'm going to have to drive to something else for my pizza fix!

This was my first time at this location, and it was not disappointing. This place has inside and outside seating and is decorated as are most Savage pizzas, with the comic book theme. The restaurant is very clean, even the restroom and all employees are friendly and customer service oriented. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, a meatball sub which came with plain chips, a 10-in Cajun Pizza, very delicious, and ordered a veggie lasagna with ground beef to go. The lasagna came with garlic bread and a side salad. My only disappointment was the lasagna which had absolutely no ground beef in it and since we got it to go, didn't realize it until we got home.

This place had my heart as soon as I saw a vegetarian lasagna on their menu. We ordered that and it was amazing. We also had a veggie pizza which was damn yummy. We enjoyed our time thoroughly and soon gonna visit to try more dishes.

All I can say is. Um um um good delicious..this is a medium pepperoni, extra cheese with garlic tomato onion basil sauce. That sauce I tell you is delicious. I would highly recommend. Everytime I go no matter what time of day, it is always clean always smell good and everyone that work there are always kind and considerate. Go there go there. Went to savage pizza Avondale estates on 4/15/2022. Still delicious I must say. Um um??

The place is kinda off to itself in a little hole. They have a lot of comic book decor, makes for interesting scenery. They also offer cornhole for the outside guests. I had a Mediterranean pizza, it was really good. I left with a full belly and as the cornhole champion!

Love savage. If you're looking for free parking, good food, and a place for the family, well look no further. Savage pizza in decatur is a nice place with good music and a cool atmosphere. Kate is the best. If you haven't been it's time. The lazana is so good. And they have some bomb subs. You won't be disappointed.

Came here for a lunch meeting and really enjoyed it. This was my first time so it was cool to see the superhero theme throughout. Service was a little slow due to only one person taking orders but she was super sweet and apologetic. The food was amazing and I look forward to coming back.

Great friendly staff and service. You come in and seat yourself. We ordered the bread twists and a medium pizza with simple toppings, pepperoni and bacon. All of the food was very tasty. The marinara was rich and house made, we found an onion bulb in our dip. They do have great quality toppings and cheeses. I could smell a hint of the gruyere cheese on our pizza. We would return again, but we don't live in the area.
