I won a car for 600 and with the sneaky fees it came up to 3,000 to get car an when I said I didn’t want it they said if I didn’t pay for car they would cancel car and still take the 3,000 out my account!! They are very rude!!! Bad customer service!!! I repeat do not get a car from them

The absolute worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. The ladies in the front office, have the nastiest attitude ever. The guys who gather personal belongings they pick and choose what they wanna keep for their selves. People are already in tough situations And yet they feel it’s OK to take advantage of people that are already in down situations but to take someone’s belongings out out of the car knowing that they were there is absolutely insane. I never wish down on someone’s business but these people need to be held accountable. They say file a claim is the funniest thing ever. I have other solutions in mind.

BUYER BEWARE!! I have been using IAA for about 8 years and I never had a problem with making payments or picking up my vehicle on time. I decided to use the IAA Transport services.. Here's the SCAM. You pay for the service online while you pay for the won vehicle. After payment it says Tow Driver assigned to pick up your vehicle. It has a box that will be checked when the vehicle is picked up, so you wait and check it daily. I checked everyday and was curious why it was late but I've used Copart transport service and sometimes it takes longer than you expect but no problem. We'll I checked About a week and half later and saw I had $450 in storage fees. They told me that they canceled my order because they couldn't get a hold of me by phone or email. I was shocked and pissed at the same time. I checked all calls but saw no missing calls. I get random Spam calls everyday. I googled each one out of curiosity. I saw an ad about trucking from a company called ACERTUS. Ok so I found the transport company. I never dealt with a LEGIT company that showed up as spam. Checked my emails and googled IAA and saw alot of miscellaneous emails from them but nothing from transport. My phone show me all the emails as they come in so I know that I didn't miss it. I then decided to check spam.. nothing. I checked trash an wah-lah there they were. An email from IAA Transport and ACERTUS! The IAA Transport said my order was canceled and it's too late and I'm still responsible for storage fees. So the calls come in as spam and the emails go to trash. First time in my life i cursed someone out on the phone. This was at the Atlanta South location but I'm sure it's a SCAM everywhere. The transport company kept me in limbo with hidden emails and spam calls and the IAA location gave me the run Around about if they could help me out by eliminating the storage fees because of the situation. In the end they didn't do anything to help me. The transport guy even said everyone calls when their account is being closed. I'm sure alot of people are getting screwed. Easy money for them. They will say dear customer we are sorry blah blah blah. They don't care they are Scammers!! They don't care about my 8 years of loyalty and they won't care About you either. Just renewed my membership a few months ago. Will not renew anymore after this year. Save yourself; Go to Copart!!!

Went to get my belongings out of my vehicle everything was gone no one knows what happened to my belongings did a claim and no one has called me went to speak with a manager no manager is ever there and the people at the front desk have nasty attitudes

I went to clean out my totaled vehicle. Everyone was nice and pleasant. The brought my car upfront so I didn't have to walk the yard searching for it. That made it easier on me.

Absolute worse service ever. Clerks have nasty attitudes….. the young men going to get the vehicles take absolutely all day(unnecessarily)… seems to be very unorganized

Stay away from this location, pictures don't justice, a lot of damage was done to a truck, while it was at this lot and it was not pictured. Employees don't care about anything.

Extremely rude, unprofessional, and arrogant people. One of the worst experiences I’ve had in Georgia. It’s upsetting that people like this are allowed to work with the public. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, avoid it if you can. I truly wish light and healing for these people, because based on the reviews, the problem clearly isn’t me or any other customer. The issue is them. When that many people say the same thing, it stops being a coincidence and starts being a reflection of who they really are. It’s honestly sad to witness people who clearly lack basic kindness, empathy, and professionalism. If this is how they treat others, I can only imagine how unhappy they must be in their own lives. Some people shine with their actions others just expose their own darkness.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANYTHING!!!!! I was here 4/18/2025 DO NOT TURN IN YOUR KEYS OR SIGN NO DOCUMENTS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED ALL YOUR BELONGINGS FROM YOUR VEHICLE !!!!!!!!This place is nothing less then thieves and disrespectful liars! long story short my vehicle was repossessed after I defaulted on the loan with Title Max. I called Title max and requested my belongings from the vehicle. The Customer service representative said u need a appointment. I asked can you schedule me one for 4/18/2025 ? Her response was sure and gave me the time and said take your driver's license and keys. I said no problem,will do! I get to the appointment and soon as get to the window the young lady asks me. How can I help you !? I said I'm just here to turn in my keys and get my belongings from vehicle. She says do u have the keys? Sure, she takes the keys and hands me a document with barely none of my belongings on it. I said mam this form is missing alot of my belongings. She gets a nasty attitude and says well your going to have to come back another day. I said no mam I was told I turn in the key and I'll receive my items. She says well if u not gone sign the document and come back it ain't nothing we could do so her and her co-workers were being so rude and nasty making very unprofessional comments like they must don't think we wanna celebrate our holiday! The white lady said I'm a Christian too we ready to go! So I let them have few choice of my words and they told the Police officer to put me out! Although the officer put me out he was very kind and just said to let my brother handle the situation. so i said no probem. Only to find out that while my car was in they're possession of IAA Atlanta south and Title max most of my belongings were stolen from the car. They advice was to file a claim with Titlemax because thefts happen often here and it's nothing they can do. This place needs to be investigated and needs a class action suit needs to be filed because I noticed reading the other reviews on this company and it appears this been going on for sometime now absolutely ridiculous and illegal !!!!!!!!

This company took everything out my vehicle. From my understanding they’re not even supposed to remove personal belongings until you’re given time to come pick up Items. My 5 year old glasses were missing, all my kids social security cards, all my debit cards, air pods, Apple Watch, iPhone 13. Everything in my car was missing and I was told when I arrived nobody had been in the vehicle. They’re liars and thieves and honestly need to be investigated. If your car is towed here please report every item that is missing and file a police report. Somebody needs to do an investigation into them

Rose very rude and disrespectful.. don't know how to talk to people for how to be a black woman she don't know how to talk to her own kind which is very sad by the way. And also the supervisor that works the yard field Caucasian lady. You might as well call her Karen that's how she was acting she was a very racist person very disrespectful half the lady that work up there needs to be fired. And the old lady with the little dreads in her hair at the second window. You thought that she had some wisdom in there but she's very disrespectful like the rest of them. They refused to let me get my belongings after I have done everything I needed to do at the communicated with both parties. But Miss Rose but keep in mind what goes around comes around. Learn to humble yourself. Just be careful how you speak to people you never know when you going to see them again

Shady business. My car was towed to the Lake City salvage yard on September 9 around 12 AM. I was told that I could not pick my car up without an appointment which was set the following Monday on September 9 at 3:45 PM. My trunk latch was broken before my car was towed and when I received my vehicle back from Iaa, I noticed that my trunk was taped with the strongest tape known to God. Tape of regular strength could hold this trunk down on my 97 Lincoln town car . I was told by the people who had my car towed to make sure I inspect the vehicle before leaving the yard which I did, not knowing I was supposed to be given a form. I noticed that my car had been cleaned out all of my personal belongings, neatly boxed up in a box with the same white tape The lot location that matched my car tag. I waited until 5 o’clock for them to bring my car which by the way was brought out on a monster truck size forklift that I honestly, I have no human knowledge of what it is really called . I was hoping that this wasn’t what I thought it was but I had to rush back to work and it was until I opened my trunk to inspect that all of my belongings were in there that I noticed that my spare tire was missing for whatever reason. The Superman tape removed the clearcoat off of my Trunk as easy as water. About 30 minutes later as I continue down the highway and hear a snapping sound. follow quickly by a rumble, and as I look into my rearview window, I see what used to be my ragtop flapping in the wind. I can only assume that this yard was going to attempt to auction my car the very next Wednesday and they had started cleaning it up because the rims on one-sided my car were very clean, and if you know anything about soft tops, you do not put them through automatic car washes which I feel was the situation. I immediately contacted their online damage department and made a claim only to not be contacted back in 24 to 48 hours. I called the location on September 11 , and was told that the tow truck driver put the tape on the car and the tape was on there when they got the car and that they had pictures of these. I was referred back to the tow people who told me that was a lie and too not let them play me and contact Iaa again and get the story straight . I called them once again on September 12. My vehicle was once again researched, and apparently the pictures that were in the system did not have tape on them and the lady tried to cover it up. Only the stand on the policy that you were supposed to do a claim form for damage before you leave the property , which clearly was impossible because the damage to my car wasn’t foreseeable until I removed the tape which should not have been put on my car . My missing tire and portable fan were also assumed to be in the trunk of my car that was left engine running at the entrance of the business. No form was ever provided and Juliette was very rude and unprofessional and refused to dispatch me to a manager before hanging up. Here’s my car now after leaving this place. I initially just wanted to recover my spare tire and that was just too kind. Instead, a customer service rep stood on policy claiming they only give damage claim forms of they know they damaged the car like that makes sense. This is the same people that lied about the tape in the first place but I’m supposed to believe this wasn’t intentional. I was told I waited 3 days to report this damage but look at my contacts. Don’t trust them and Juliette hanging up on a call guy just looking for direction to a donut tire is inexcusable and if she keeps her job after that behavior I knew not to expect much from management anyways. This is a classic man given to me by my late grandmother?. Didn’t deserve that at all man. Please help if anybody knows how I can fix my baby.

This is going to be very brief. I was told my car was transported to this Auction site after being retrieved and kept overnight by another company just not even a mile away. First, I wanted to be prepared for any foolery so of course I checked the reviews. I called to schedule an appointment but first I wanted to know if my gun and a large sum of cash had been retrieved and put in a safe for safekeeping as I read this was a courtesy act. Anyway, fast forward I arrived ahead of schedule and I have to say my experience was nothing shy of exceptional. I was greeted by two professional associates but of course I proceeded to the Roll Tide window. My entire experience and interactions was A1 even though my personal items were missing. Rosa assisted me with the Correct form to file a claim and she too provided top notch service. The officer was extraordinarily helpful and attentive to my delicate situation. I left with a broken heart because very pricey items were missing but at least the Representatives of IAA assured and comforted me that they were not responsible. Thank you Chris for being my first point of contact and for making sure my negative circumstances were not matched with negative energy. Please continue to be patient and positive because you never know what’s weighing on a customer before reaching your desk.

Jade Lassiter is not lying. I don't know her at all but the same exact thing she is explaining happened to me. My car was towed to IAA. They broke into my car & stole all my tools that were of value. Most importantly, my Full Diagnostic Scanner. They sent me an email on a Saturday saying the case has been resolved & closed. I haven't spoken to anyone until today when I called. I was spoken to in a harsh tone as if the customer service representative was offended by me following up on my case. I was told that if I didn't file a claim before leaving IAA that when I did file a claim it would be automatically denied. I asked the representative how would I know to file a claim for missing personal items if I didn't know they were missing. I was more concerned about why my car dash lights was on & wouldn't go over 10 mph. I called a tow truck to come pick up the car from beside the road not even a quarter of mile from IAA. Once I got the car home, I then checked the black bags & brown boxes they had put my items in. I immediately noticed that my OBDII full Diagnostic Scanner Case was missing. I called The towing company & was informed that they do not open or go into cars into vehicles. They simply pick up & drop off, so I tried reaching out to IAA South but they dont have a phone number listed. So I went on the IAA & seen that I had to file a claim through the app. I never heard from anybody about my case, only two emails stating the case has been filed & the case has been resolved & closed. This company is a thief & rob people. Nobody came to talk to me when I picked up my vehicle or informed me of protocol. My appointment was at 1:30pm, I stood in line 20 minutes to sign a paper that the customer service said was to confirm that im the owner & was picking upmy vehicles that was all.said to me. I went outside & waited about an hour for my car. A guy drove my car to me very slowly, hopped out & walked away. I got in my car & noticed the dash lights. Someone needs to do something about this place because this is ridiculous. Again the lady Jade Lassiter isnt lying, she telling the absolute truth because it surely happened to me!

I went today to IAA and this lady (employee) in a pink vest, curly light hair, and glasses was questioning the young lady working at the window about why and how she did something that was clearly a learning experience for her. The lady with the pink vest was so loud and rude to this girl. Instead of being professional and pulling her aside privately, she continued to question her rudly and loud so every customer and employee could hear her. I understand the girl made a mistake but that is not the way you go about correcting something. I felt embarrassed for the girl. That is not the proper way to treat and speak to your employees. I would have given less stars if this was my first experience with IAA. Every other time, my experience has been good. This time was very different. This lady needs to be corrected on how she speaks to employees. Especially in front of customers and other employees. That should have been a private conversation or at least a more soft spoken conversation and a respectfully teachable moment.

They pick my car up for Title Max I went paid my car off went to pick my car up and it was damaged won't start fried my battery took a forklift and pick my car up with it and bent the front of it my tires were flat stood there 4 hours rude people didn't tell me anything bout my car when I email them they will respond. We do have a lawyer taking care of it.

Piss poor customer service!! Waited over 3 hours to get my car back.. all for them to tell me they lost the actual tags for my car. Then had the audacity to tell me I need to just take my car and drive it without the tags and to get some new ones from the DDS!! There are no effective systems of productivity in this place of business; music is played on loud on the employee side of the window and no one cares how it affects the customers! Unprofessionalism, misconduct in the work environment, lack of prioritization, the list goes on and on when it comes to IAAI! Strongly recommend corporate gets involved at this location especially with essential training of job functions!

I went today. They stole an AirPod, tent equipment and a taser. I was literal told by the TitleMax department that I can come file a claim and it will not be honored. I asked her why and she said it wasn’t her fault I didn’t know my items were missing. They are stealing your personal items. Clear out the car all of the time. And IF you do leave your personal items DO NOT TURN IN YOUR KEY UNTIL YOU KNOW THEY GAVE YOU ALL OF YOUR STUFF!! DO NOT SIGN THAT PAPER AT THE DESK UNTIL YOU VERIFY THAT EVERYTHING IS I THAT BAG THAT IS ON THE CHECKLIST. Just a warning.

I bought a car with someone who wasn’t truthful about the status of the title.The car was repoed and I had to retrieve my items from the car even though I should never have been in this situation. I just was able to sit down nd go through the box and it’s entirety and I see that I am missing 2-3 bank cards ,MAIL CONTAINING MY SSN was opened ,both of my old spice deodorant are gone, my baccarat, my yellow box cutter,my travel toothbrush , my microfiber towels and I can’t make a claim till Monday because there closed all weekend

I picked my car up from this place and it had only been there 24 hours. I come to pick my car up on the next business day which was a Monday morning. And I found all of my items to be missing out of my car. I think this place is disgusting. They have no integrity and no morals they stole cases of water. It's the 05 gallons of oil 2 of them out of the car. They stole tools that was in my trunk. As if nobody was coming back to pick up their car. this really discusses me and it's a shame that people worked hard for their items and it's a mishap that happens and somebody have to play off Another person's Down fall but it's OK because I'm gonna go to every measure me that I can on this particular company I'm going all. The way up to the better business bureau because this is unacceptable...

Mrs. Susan at the front counter is an absolute delight. She focus on each customer with care & concern and very efficient. I watched her demeanor while we were waiting to go out to our car. They can use her at many other IAA locations. Give this lady her flowers for superb customer service ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extremely disorganized facility, they have everyone wait out side in the heat/rain while one associate services customers. Waited over 2 hours to be seen, definitely need more people working here to serve customers. The auctions fees have went up tremendously and to have bad service while you pay more is upsetting.

Would be really nice to have more than one person at the front desk with over 10 people in line! Customer have to wait in a HOT AREA for 30 mins or more and after the crazy wait, some reps act nonchalant and rude. Another crazy policy— paying extra $20 for in person payment is extortion.

I wish no Stars was an option. My car was towed here. I showed up to pick up my personal items and security told me to have a sit outside. After 20 minutes he asked me what did I need. I told him I was here to pick up my personal belongings. He asked me if I had an appointment I said no. He said I need an appointment. I politely walked out. After three weeks of calling no one picks up the phone. When I finally got someone on the phone they told me that to go check and see if my personal belongings were still there. I assume they were since they sent me a letter saying they will hold onto them for 60 days. Week four I finally have an appointment just to get there and nobody can locate my items after an hour. I was told to fill out a claim. I’m waiting to hear back from the assistant manager.

This place is a joke! You will wait hours to be loaded & when you try to ask for help or get answers these people act like you are a bother. I mean it is your job, if you hate it go home instead of ruining your customers day! Seems like they need some new management that will actually get this place running efficiently. Oh and don’t forget by the time you do actually get your cars loaded, you better inspect them to make sure they don’t have any damage from the fork lift. They have ripped exhaust loose & damaged gas & brake lines on a few of my purchases. I hate my life when I have to get a vehicle from here. It ruins my whole schedule! My time is $ and they don’t care about your wait time at all.

This is how run and Drive was advertised. Scammed and false advertisement.. And you will never get help from the Rude Manager at this place or he will tell you is you buys as is . Very disappointing. Watch out for them.. Most likely the are selling scrap vehicles..

If it was possible, I would go it a 0 rating! My car was supposed to be picked up on Wednesday nobody called or showed up, then on Friday! Between 8-12pm nobody called and showed up! I was waiting in cold in the lot of The towing company! Very incompetent service! They say we have many cars to pick up before you! He will call you in 5 mins, nobody picks up the phone when u connect to dispatch. I had the worst experience of my life with them.
