The young girl that helped wasn't too helpful. Considering I gave her my number after leaving a battery to get charged but she waited until I came all the way back to tell me that it wasn't good to charge. Giggling the whole time with her coworkers.
My battery died over night and I called in the morning to see if they could help install a new battery for my vehicle. I had to get a jump to make it there but when I did Kenny helped me purchase and install a new battery! I’m so grateful for all his help and knowledge!
This is the only parts store anywhere around that I trust to send my lil girl down to get her parts for her car. Shane and Chris are by far the best parts men in Athens.
Very clean and well stocked. At first I noticed there were quite a few employees but no one was rushing to ask if I needed anything. I then found out they're just kinda laid back and they let the customers do their own thing. If you make eye contact with them they are quick to ask if you need any help but in a chill kind of way. The atmosphere is very relaxed and goes at your own pace. I really like that. I'll be coming back here from now on for all of my auto parts and projects.
Long story short I came in last night my car check engine light was on and it needed oil and Chris put it in for me, and went the extra mile for a customer and I would recommend him or Jonathan for any assistance they truly make this store
Bought a battery that was dead & wouldn't charge. Took it back the next day. They want to keep it and charge it for 80 min. Then, see if it holds a charge before they swap it out. And JOSH thinks he can talk to folks any kinda way. When he said "IM GOING TO TELL YOU THIS ONE TIME & ONE TIME ONLY" I'd heard enough. I've never been treated so disrespectful. Have to go back tomorrow just to get a refund. AND DONT BOTHER WITH THAT AUTOMATED RESPONSE SAYING HOW YOU TRY TO GIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN UNTIL YOU FIRE JOSH. I'LL DRIVE AN HOUR OUT OF THE WAY INSTEAD OF GOING HERE.
Have been here multiple times and they are excellent. Staff is incredibly informative, professional, and helpful. I have been assisted by Ethan Shane and Kristopher all are great. They are good and honest people
Customer service is terrible. The store associate didn't won't to get his pants wet in "sprinkling rain" and told me I'd have to use the tool the store has to check my engine myself which is something that they do. Why be in a position to help but don't. SMH.. I usually don't leave reviews but that was ridiculous. Plus I had my 1 year old in the car sleeping so I couldn't do anything myself without possibly waking her up..
They are all awesome in this store. Jay especially! He always comes and helps me and my husband figure out what's going on and helps us fix the problem. They deserve a raise in this store they go over and beyond to help you out and make sure you are safe and legal. They make my life so much easier and do it all with a smile. Thank you guys. I appreciate Jay he is an employee at O'Reilly's. In Athens ga on US-29 Who was just about to leave after clocking out he asked if I needed any help putting my headlight in. I appreciate him taking the time after a hard work day and taking initiative to put my headlight in to make sure that I had another headlight. Thanks Jay for being so kind as to put my head light in!
By far the worst auto parts store I have ever had the displeasure of using in my 45 years of working on cars. Although the store is convenient, the staff is incompetent and poorly trained in my opinion. Sold me used broken parts and the wrong parts on my last 2 visits. They cost me time and money. Never again.
Stacy and Jay went above and beyond to help me with my headlight dilemma! Their teamwork was most impressive! Both of them were friendly and provided me with excellent customer service!! Thanks guys! You deserve a raise
The employees at this shop have a tendency to all hide in the back of the store while shoppers have to wait. They are also not knowledgeable when it comes to installing vehicle batteries. They advertise free installation but they charge $50-$100 per battery more than other companies. Then they told me that they would not install a new battery in my Silverado because it was too complicated for their staff. Shop another parts place or Walmart for your needs.
For anyone purchasing your own parts please do your research. The old people that work there (that need to retire) can and will give you the wrong part. This location has done this to multiple people I know. I also blame their system. None the less I'm not mad but we all just need to do better. Gas and diesel are really high right now and it hurts everyone to have to go back and return.
This is the worst O’Reillys I’ve ever been into. I stood up front with hands full of gallon jugs of antifreeze and windshield cleaner, and a few other things. Didn’t get acknowledged by anyone of the 6+ employees in the store, nice to know you’re just paying people to stand around and look at their phones waiting to clock out.i will never shop in here, and i will never purchase parts for my business at this or any O’Reillys ever again. I will also urge my friends and customers to not shop there anymore either. I may even offer a discount on labor pricing if the customer can show me they didn’t purchase car parts from an O’Reillys.
Overall a very good store. They were able to locate an older part rather quickly using their neighboring stores and point me in the right direction. Really helpful staff and very polite and patient.
I wish that I could choose zero stars, I walked in the manager and employees were eating and talking. I circled the store at least three times before finding the object I wanted to purchase; with no one asking to assist me. Once I approached the register I even asked the cashier why they weren’t helpful and his response was... we don’t talk much... would not recommend if you enjoy helpful customer service while shopping. NEVER AGAIN

Access is a little strange, you have to come in on a side road behind the building or cut through fast food parking lot. Not an issue, just a heads up.
Good quality tools and parts. A little more pricey than competitors. Manager in Hull is very knowledgeable and friendly, good guy. Not so many early 90s Toyota parts in stock but these things are getting old. All of my vehicles and machinery have o'reilly brand fluids that I trust completely and for a good price
I have had a great experience every time I have stopped at this location. The associated always make you feel welcome and help you with a good attitude. I am never rushed or treated like a bother which happens often elsewhere. I recommend them highly, in fact I spend more $ than I would at another store for the same item(s).
