Hook Recovery & Towing was fantastic! Unfortunately not a company that you look forward to calling but I was in desperate need since my car just decided to completely die on me in the middle of a thunderstorm. Two jumps later my car would still not turn on, so I had to call the towing service. I was told they would be there in an hour in which Brandon got to me in a little under an hour! We started talking and I explained to him the other car issues I have had and recent fixes. He asked me to look at it, and after looking under my hood found that a latch on the battery was loose and could be the issue. He went back into his truck got a wrench tightened the latch and told me to turn my car back on. I did and the thing started!! Slightly annoyed at myself that that had been the issue but appreciated Brandon listening to me and taking a look and fixing the problem instead of just towing it which would have incurred lots of other costs & me finding a mechanic in a place I am not familiar with. Thank you Hook Recovery & Towing and thank you Brandon for fixing the issue instead of just towing it, much appreciated!
I think the dispatcher under estimates the amount of time before the tow truck arrives. I assume this is NOT intentional, it took an hour to get towed but I was told it would be close to 30 minutes. So far it’s am still waiting but I hope the actual tow goes easy and quick . Ha!
Excellent service. Nobody was ever rude, they were very upfront about the price, and Eric treated my motorcycle better than I do. There wasn't a great spot to drop it off where it needed to go, but he even helped me push it around the corner to get it there. It made for a good ending to an awful day.
Chad is awesome. Seriously- couldn’t be more thankful for him or this company. My car broke down on Tybee after breakfast, needed to get it home in Savannah to get checked out. They were there in less than an hour. He even got my car parked in the driveway so I wouldn’t get a ticket- which I really appreciate. Very great customer service, and really reasonable pricing for a tow. Highly recommend. Turned a bad day into a great one ☝️ Tip your driver, they’re doing a wonderful service !

I needed a tow, and was surprised to find Hook towing to be quick, efficient, and reasonably priced, compared to others in the area! I had Earnest as my deliverer/driver, and he called me each step of the way to keep me updated; and did the job in a fast yet professional manner. I wouldn't hesitate to use Hook services again, and would recommend them to anyone!
We were at a wedding and one of the musicians accidentally locked his keys in the car while he was setting up, and Hook was there before the event even started to help him get back into his car! What a way to save the day! They were super friendly, professional, quick to arrive, and very reasonably priced! If you need a towing or lock out service in the Savannah area, I 100% recommend Hook!
My car had alerts that required going to the dealer which is an hour away. It was not working at all. Caleb came to the rescue. He asked what kind of issue I was having. He talked me through it. He was so helpful not only with my car but with me. I was very upset about my car having issues that I did not understand. He was very understanding and kind.
The dispatcher was very courteous. I did not wait long for the truck to arrive. This was a very nice company all around.
After waiting 3 hours for a AAA tow I called Hook Recovery and Towing and they had a truck at the location where my car had broken down in less than 30 minutes. James was great and took great care of loading my vehicle on the truck and transporting to my service location. Could not be happier with the prompt and professional as well as friendly service. Used to work for a local auto repair shop and Hook Towing was their preferred tow vendor - so I already knew they had great response times and affordable pricing. However, my wife just had a tire puncture that ended up eating the tire. Luckily, I already knew who to call, and I was glad to find out that their service was still top-notch. Caleb (hope I spelled it right) was the driver dispatched to our location, and he cut his lunch break short to help us get our car towed to the tire shop before close. Kindness and professionalism are so hard to come by these days. This company has both at the top level! Terrell was super and really knows what he’s doing! Plus, I appreciate his warm, friendly smile and him being so nice to my baby who was fascinated by his truck! Melissa, who has such a welcoming voice and tone, was also extremely helpful when I called. We used this service on Saturday as our van needed very quick towing from one Toyota dealership to the other dealership so it could be fixed immediately before they closed and we were stranded in Savana Georgia!

Excellent service and very polite. Was referred to this towing company by Vaden Chevrolet. All around great experience. Melissa the office manager was an absolute pleasure to speak with. Couldn't ask for better. Hall the driver called within minutes of dispatch, and on site within 20min. Again great experience. Price was extremely reasonable for after hours, and weekend. Not your typical tow company, and no doubt the reviews tell the story.

They met me at the warehouse, able to load, and deliver to my location. The driver was extremely experienced and extremely good! I'm not sure any other driver could have or even would have come close to what he achieved!

I was provided with service from Jason of Hook Towing today when I got a flat tire. My roadside assistance through my insurance made the appointment for me. My experience was great, Jason was friendly and helpful. He got me squared away quickly. Truck was also clean and ready for a passenger. Would recommend or request again.

Everyone who helped me was professional, kind and patient during a stressful situation. I am truly grateful to the entire team. I didn't get the name of the man who picked up my car, but he was kind and patient and seemed genuinely concerned, the receptionists were so helpful and kind both over the phone and in person, the woman who I believe might be the office manager was understanding and sympathetic, I'm sorry I can't remember everyone's names, all of you deserve recognition, and Matt who delivered my car was helpful and professional upon delivery. Just had my car towed by a young man named Matt. It was a long day at work and my car decided it didn’t want to start. Called for a tow and in less than 30 min the tow truck had arrived. Matt was extremely courteous and willing to help. He was patient and explained the process. Within minutes my car was hooked up with care and towed to my home. Matt was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. TY for the excellent service! After some thought I decided to edit this review to add how happy Matt is with his job, and how personable he was. One of my neighbors was waiting to get out and Matt said give him 3 minutes. He had my car loaded and his truck out of my neighbors way in 3 SECONDS! I highly recommend Hook Recovery and if you're lucky enough to get Matt as your driver please tell him what an outstanding man he is. Also, slide him a tip too. It is hot as can be outside and he is working his hardest with a smile on his face.
Called thru insurance. Advised by Rachel we had to re call our insurance to change address because Mechanic ask for a different drop off address to fix a newly replaced belt that shredded. . Hooks accepted the address per Rachel. Then, we recalled Rachel back to advise mechanics store Assistant Manager was on their way to see if they could fix before wrecker arrived. Note payment of $48 already accepted thru insurance. Rachel did not know but we were on the phone with the insurance company while this was going on and they heard her say she refused to come now to pickup the car up as it was too far as we wanted them to continue in case Asst Store Mngr could not fix and Rachel lied to insurance company and said they had no driver to come...even thou Rachel advised me they would be at our location in 45 minutes to an hour. Rachel argued. Was disrespectful. Spoke over me and placed me on hold. As a woman I felt very overwhelm with the disconcern of my safety. You use your judgement for your circumstances but if I can avoid using I will if mechanic can not fix my car in the parking lot. #Stranded
My driver Matt was amazing. He was so quick to come help get me a tow. I called for a tow at like 6:55 pm And They told me a tow truck wouldn’t be there till about 8
and he was there by 7:15. He called ahead and was very professional and understanding and supportive of the situation. Will definitely use this company again If needed. Thank you for everything hook recovering and towing and Matt
Matt M was very informal and friendly while changing my tire on my Nissan. Even though his equipment was giving up on him, he didn’t give up on us. He got his equipment to work properly and successfully changed out tire quickly. I definitely give home a 20 out of 10! That’s how awesome he was! Thanks again Matt M!
Needed a project car moved from one place to another, needless to say I required a flat bed for a vehicle that's extremely low. Tommy showed up moments after getting off the phone with the nicest dispatch lady ever. She was super helpful and had the absolute best price around. Tommy had my car on the back of his rig in under 2 minutes and on the road, once we reached the destination he was able to maneuver and put the car right where I needed it all the while making it look easy. His professionalism was top notch. I will not be using anyone else from now on.
Managed to get car stuck on a concrete island in a local parking lot. Ernest came out and knew exactly what to do. He had me rolling within five minutes. God bless you Ernest for not laughing at a lady for doing something pretty dumb lol.
