If you take your car anywhere else when it needs work, then you must love spending money and hate friendly customer service. I’d give these guys a million stars if I could. It was a breath of fresh air how honest and transparent they are. I had an engine installed and not only were they super fast, but they also saved me thousands compared to the other five places I called. Jake even went way above and beyond—he took extra time he didn’t have to, just to find me an engine with the lowest miles possible. Highly, highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back if I ever have any issues in the future.
My wife got in a car accident so her car was towed there. I called them from the hospital and asked how much I needed to pay abd if I could pick up the car. They said they couldn't see any problem as to why not. When we got there they were happy to take my money but reluctant to let me take the car because of the damage and because they didnt want to be legally responsible. I understand all that but they could have let me know that before they took my $200. My wife was really sore and upset and if the car wasnt drivable it could sit at their yard until the insurance company paid to get it and they could have charged their fee per day abd made even more money but they had to be greedy. It's sitting in my yard right now and not drivable.
This has to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with any company in Jackson Georgia. I went to their office to see about my mother’s car involved in an accident. There were like 3-4 guys just walking around. There was one guy working on a car that actually had enough decency to acknowledge me and speak. So I waited like 5-10mins and no one came to ask me if I needed any assistance. There was an older lady that pulled in shortly after me. And they greeted her and assisted her, meanwhile I’m still waiting to be helped. And again 3-4 guys turned around and looked at me with out saying a word until I took it upon myself to go into where the wrecked cars are and then they finally approach me being hostile and threatening to call the cops.. and even after that they still didn’t try to assist me just went back into the garage and stared at me..
the energy was giving prejudice and rude. It’s completely understandable we still live In a world that sees color instead of a human being! But when you’re running a business or working you set those differences to the side and treat everyone how you would like to be treated.
My roommates Tundra broke down in the middle of nowhere, folks at Cooks came and picked it up fixed it perfect, gave an excellent price for repairs, and even worked with us on holding the truck until we old pay. A1 CUSTOMER SERVICE. ACES ALL AROUND.
My partner and I were assisted by Jake. Incredibly quick response, professional yet friendly, excellent customer service, even took the time to ask questions and inspect the car we had towed for problems. Overall such a great company. Definitely contact them for any problems.
Best thing I can say about Cook's garage is, "they are honest", and that in itself says it all. They are friendly and take time to talk and understand your problem when you get there.
Had my daughters car towed there bc it wouldn’t crank. Was told it was a wiring issue. And told I’d have to spend 300.00 to diagnose and 100.00 am hour to fix. I asked if battery was checked and they said yes.
Passed on all that and it was looked at by someone else. It was the battery! And a sensor smh
My husband found the owner to be fair and honest. He diagnosed the problem giving my husband photos and diagrams of the issue. Saving him money compared to garages in the area.

Pulled replaced engine in 1990 Mazda pickup, clutch, slave cylinder, battery,,inspected and replaced belts ect. that needed replaced. 1989 Bronco II clutch and slave cylinder. 2015 Jeep Patriot wheel sensor replaced to fix ABS & Traction light on car last week. Jake totally saved my day about a week ago I broke down in the middle of the road, the whole tire came off my truck and my axle was sitting on the concrete, the police had to come direct traffic around my truck...it was a totally stressful situation. Within minutes of arriving, he had my truck loaded up and when I told him that I was on the way to my doctor appointment and 45 minutes away from home, he not only took my truck to a tire shop that could fix it, he also dropped me off at my doctors office and had arranged for someone from the tire shop to pick me up after I was done at the doctor. He could have easily charged me a fortune and just towed my truck all the way back home and it still would have been broken, but he saved me a ton of money, his fee & the cost to fix my truck at the tire shop was less than it would have been to just get it towed home. Jake was really a huge help that day and made a stressful situation so much easier! I highly recommend Cooks wrecker service if you find yourself in a situation where you need a tow!!
I broke down on a dirt road at 2am on my way back from coin hunting last week,I called these guys and they came right out! The male worker stayed over late to see that I picked up my car after I had to get it released from the police. He didn't have to do that but he was very kind to my situation as I had to receive a ride there which was an hour drive from Atlanta. I really appreciate his kindness as I was going through a lot. He was a true hero!

The ONLY negative about my experience was he got a call from the county & had to leave me to serve them 1st...but he did call & come back like he said !!!
This is the worst towing place I have ever dealt with. They had an attitude over the phone, then left us stranded when a friend offered to help us wench it off of the road so they didn't charge us an extra fee. They said that they didn't have time to wait for us to do it and just drove off and left. I would never recommend them even as a last resort.
Randy from Cook's Wrecker totally came through for my mom. She called me in distress after her car broke down in the middle of the road. She didn't have a credit card on her. Thankfully, Randy allowed me to give him my credit card number over the phone to set up the tow for my mother even though I wasn't with the vehicle. My mother said he got to her quickly and did a great job. I really appreciate everything he did.
