My truck was impounded buy auburn city police department for no proof of insurance and Clinton’s towing was the company that the police officer called. First thing the guy went to drive my truck up on to the rollback and he drug my trailer hitch bout off of my truck , but that’s only the beginning of my nightmare! This happened on a Saturday before a big holiday so it took me a couple days to be able to get my proof of insurance and all my paperwork in order. So my truck was in there impound lot until Wednesday morning! My truck just came from the body shop a few weeks before this happened and everything on the front of my truck was brand new and freshly painted so right away I noticed that my grill was busted and something had struck my bumper had enuff that it ripped the plastic trim pad off the top of my bumper and busted my grill! Then I noticed that my brand new ruger 6.5 greedmore bolt action rifle and three boxes of shells was missing ! I brung this to the front office attention and she played dumb like I didn’t know what I was talking about and rudely told me to go file a police report that it wasn’t her problem! Little did she know but I have two separate dash cams in my truck and one of them records when it sinces someone walking around or touches my truck and it both of them record the inside of my truck when the ignition is on so lucky me that I have plenty of videos of my stuff being removed from my truck and of my truck rolling forward and striking the bed of the tow truck when they dumped it off at there tow yard ! So please be aware of this and don’t use these dishonest company for thing!
Insult to injury! Unfortunately my son was in an accident last week. Thankfully he was not hurt and he was not at fault. The insult & injury part comes in with the towing company. Clinton's Automotive and Towing was very quick at clearing the accident scene...which is the only good thing we can say about them. They left before telling us where they were moving the vehicle to. Luckily my husband saw the truck pull off and I was able to call around and find the location. Less than 24 hours later, when my son stopped by to clean out his truck he found that his tool box, jumper cables, first aid kit, eno, and his favorite mask had been stolen. Most of these items were secured under the back seat so they could not have just fallen out. When we reported the missing item to the towing company they were very defensive and suggested maybe it was the first responders. Please save yourself the frustration and do not willing use Clinton's Towing and Automotive in Auburn, Ga!
Totalled my car and had to get rushed to the hospital by ambulance. When I find my car at their facility the next day, almost all of my valuables were missing including my radio, subwoofer, and welding helmet and jacket that I needed for school. Not to mention all of my tools were gone too. And keep in mind I am only 18 still trying to get on my feet. Sure the car was totalled but that was about $1000 worth of stuff that they had no right to take. I even went to the crash site to try and recover what I could but nothing was there. Ridiculous
Absolutely terrible! about 10 minutes after I get my car towed for reasons thats my fault, I call to ask if I could get the car. The guy tells me they are about to close, so I ask what time do y'all close and he responds by telling me 5pm (it was 5:04pm). So I asked again if I could still come get it and he basically tells me it would have to be Monday. So, I ask does that mean I would be charged for sunday and monday and he tells me yes. I said ok and hung up because i realized they are just money hungry and don’t actual give a d**n about good quality service.
Side note: it says there open 24 hours, why can’t I get my car. Someone’s got to be working for them to be open 24 hours
Called for a tow at 11:20 am. Thankfully my husband and I had a ride back to our house because it is currently 5:15pm and we just now received a call that they would be leaving to pick up soon. And this is after making another call at 1:30pm to see how much longer it would be (a couple hours evidently means 4 hours). Extremely unhappy with the entire situation. If it was going to take over six hours to get a car towed 11 miles, they should have at least told us any of the times we called. If I had known that, I would have found another tow service.
