I’ve been going to recycling centers for at least 45 years. There were quite a few in the greater Daytona Beach area but out of all of them TMR has been the best. The employees are polite and friendly. They are not rude like other places, I’ve been to from the greeting you get at the scale on your way in to cashing out at the end the associates at TMR far out weigh all the other recycling centers. Their prices fair And you able to see the scale weights on the way in and the way out, Their Honesty surpasses all of the other centers. I would highly recommend TMR as the place to go
I see all the reviews and have to say is am surprised. I ha e had an account with these guy since before they became TMR.
You all need to stop reading the lies.
Service is not improved, it has gotten quite worse for customer if you ask me.
No guidance poor communication. And very poor organization. Look people if you really want to know how much a company cares about you or your goods. Just pick up the phone and see if you can get a real person to answer. Hahaha. If they even answer.
TMR is a real joke. Have your stuff clean neat and organized. And weigh it in before you go. See for yourself the rigged scales..I had to argue with a guy on the weight of brass, dude trying to tell me I was off by almost 20 lbs of metals. Between coper brass and aluminum cans.
I use to take commercial scrap here until this incident. Now I go to the other guys.
Seriously TMR Will not answer the phone. You gotta call over and over. They dont care about you just your goods. Go somewhere else people. Save yourself the aggrevation
Totally disorganized, no instructions very disorganized. Nobody knows what to do. What’s going on and they don’t pay in cash they give you a check which they don’t let you know ahead of time. Don’t waste your day if you go there
I've always liked this place. They changed a lot, but for the better. Staff is more helpful and polite. I drive from way across town to go here. Just don't get stuck here when they have to clean up the pile. I'm sure any scrap yard is like this though.
The reviews from years ago are just outdated. go anywhere but here. This place really has bad employees and the wait line is ridiculous! Don’t go there i’m telling you.
I've never in my life. Sat in line for over a hour before getting weight and sat on the scale for a 1/2 hour before unloading. This is the worst place i've ever been to
Fist off the lady at the gate shack hit my truck with magnet on a stick and scratched it. Then she told me to pull to a certain area and wait to back in the dock while doing so someone whistled at me and said for me to move to parking area. So I back into the dock and started unloading the truck. Was told to reload it and I quoat get this off the dock. So I did and left.what a bunch of clowns never going back
It is Great company and they have card's now so it is fast convenient smooth way to receive your funds... 😃👍🏽 I Luv it and it's about one block from my house, 5m or less walk from my House
If you just selling steel its fine. Other metals its best to sell else where. They are not set up for anything other than bulk steel and cans. I am not a pro scrapper but I install a lot of materials. The yards in West palm is much better set up.
Pickup truck densely loaded with scraps from hurricane shutter installs yielded $50. While a similar load of misc steel yielded the same. Not sure how anyone could make a living doing this. Its not worth my time doing up here.
I had went to TMR to recycle A fridge and a stove some copper and aluminum in which I had earned $34 for what I had dropped off and recycled is soon as I scan my barcode and receive the money I put it straight in my wallet when I got home I realized $20 of the $34 was missing as I only had $14 in my wallet I called TMR and spoke with the first person who took my car and inquired about if it is possible that may be the machine that dispenses the money ran out of $20 bills or some kind of conclusion as to why the $20 is missing from myWallet she immediately told me that somebody had turned it in and I can come pick it up I was ecstatic when I showed back up at TMR I explained who I was and she handed me the 20 that had been turned in she told me that a coworker named Linda was the one that turned it in and I went outside and thanked her personally anyone else would’ve just taken the money it’s great to know they have honest workers like Linda working there and I like their cleanliness less of a chance to get nails in your tire like the unsanitary dirty LPGA scrap yards amongst others that don’t take Pride in keeping the roads clear of debris and nails screws etc. that’s why I read it five stars because of great customer service and prompt in and out accessibility!
Excellent service the gentleman on the dock was very helpful. He looked over everything and put things I thought was just metal and was cooper in the copper pile. I will definitely return and I highly recommend them. Payment was quick and easy.
Called them to ask if they were open. Said yes went over, they stated they are closed as i pulled up to the scale due to rain. Should have never told me they will stay open during rain as that was my understanding. Should have said we are closing due to rain instead of "yes we are open". Lady on the phone seem to be on a power trip with attitude. Taking business elsewhere due to unprofessionalism.
Business hours state they do not close til 11:30 am on Saturday. I arrive at 11:01 and another customer and I were refused service because the business decides they want to leave early, change your hours or stick to what you tell the public.
These people robbed me! I have been a plumber for 15 years and have been handing in copper and brass since I started this profession. I’m from New Jersey and they run there scrap business way different there. But needless to say i stripped my copper down with a fine tooth comb and they still found a reason to tell me that it is not clean copper! I am so upset and if they didn’t throw my copper in there buckets I would have taken it to some one else. These people should go to jail for life with all the money they took from people.
I was told some rims on a vehicle that was going there were accidentally not removed off of a car. I was then told to call there and ask them if they had the wheels for me. After explaining the situation, the lady that answered phone rudely said "we don't sell any parts we just buy scrap metal", Much to my disappointment. she then went on to say that they don't buy automobiles from the place I just talked to that said they sent the car there. NICE... THANK YOU.
The pay is appropriate & employees mostly friendly. Except for one latin guy who works the aluminum area & made a comment about the size of my wife's breasts in spanish.
Trademark metals is the number one middle and Daytona Beach they're very pleasant and very nice especially the girl behind the counter either go name is Shelly she's very sizeable and very helpful I've no problems coming back to saying you people again
Really crappy. Was told that steel was going for $4.25 per pound so I decided to turn 4 steel rims in for some money and they gave me $3.25 not even a full pounds worth of steel when each rim weighed 15 pounds each. Wish I could give give his negative stars with the lies I was told and the crappy service that was given I will never be going here again
