Stopped in today to get a couple of batteries for my key fobs for the car. And Jordan bent over backwards to help me. I didn't even know how to open the fob and my husband and I both have looked at it extensively. And he popped it right open and explained the steps. He made it look so easy. It's great to finally have good customer service at a store again. After covid it seems like the world's turned upside down and a lot of times they act like you should be happy they're there to serve you. That was definitely not the case today. Way to go Jordan thank you thank you thank you, one happy customer. I told him I would give him 10 Stars if I could because I got that good of service.
Jordan is amazing! He was very thorough in explaining my options for battery service and even determined that my old battery was still under warranty. He has gained a loyal customer for life!
Definitely care for their customers! Went in last minute to get my two car fob batteries changed since they were on their last click. Came to have my battery tested that a stealership told me needed to be replaced. Staff were friend came right out and tested the battery and confirmed it was fine. I also purchase batteries here and always have a good experience.
A shop interstate batteries partly because they are closed and usually have anything I need in the way of batteries. Store as well supplied and well-kept employees are knowledgeable and very helpful. I can recommend this facility!
My boss has a Hallmark ornament that has been in her family for many years. It was a special gift that was given to her by her mother, who has now passed away. When we
took the ornament to your store, we were greeted by such a friendly employee. "Jordon" was the employee who assisted us that day . Not only did he fix the broken keepsake with a new working battery, but he was so kind in allowing my boss to sit and rest for a bit . She began chatting and had such a sweet interaction with this young man. Our transaction was complete . I was driving her back home, and she expressed to me how happy it was to connect with the younger generation and to know that they are good, kindhearted, and compassionate young people that can take time and chat with seniors . Sometimes the customer just needs a friendly smile and a kind word to change an outlook on the whole day . ?
These guys are not nice and don’t provide good customer service like they claim. Spoke to a gentleman on the phone regarding the current battery in the car, and they stated they will provide me with a 25% discount since I am replacing an existing interstate battery. Not only were they rude, they stated I will not be provided with any warranty unless I paid full price for the battery. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your battery needs. Got a branded battery for the same full retail cost. Buying a new battery with 0 warranty is insane! Walked out and went elsewhere because of a poor experience with the team. They were just plain rude and honestly, not worth the trip. Take your business elsewhere!

We have bought our car batteries here for over a decade. When our battery failed within warranty this week, as can happen in Florida, they honored their warranty and replaced the battery, not even charging a service fee. This outfit is your battery ally.
I only buy Interstate Batteries! I was glad to find a local franchise to help local business. The GOOD - Good location, fair prices and fast service. Ethan offers great customer service, friendly, fast and listens to your needs. The BAD - Jordan is disrespectful to senior citizen customers.. I am old enough to be his father. He was rude, tries to prove the customer wrong on warranties even when you have proof of warranty coverage. Clueless on how Interstate Battery warranties work. He was not even handling my transaction as Ethan was..and yet Jordan decided to butt in regardless! Bad attitude with customers from the start to the finish and also even with his coworker in front of me, the customer which is a deal breaker for any business. He even went as far as to go outside twice to see what Ethan was doing on my car! The Outcome - I spoke to Pat the Manager which was friendly and understood my complaint. He stated he would have a discussion with Jordan. The BOTTOM Line - I would recommend the business. I would never let one Bad Apple ruin a business.. just hope they listen to complaints and prevent this behavior to continue to fester and drive new customers away as I know of a friend which it did, unfortunately. A business can only be as good as the folks that handle it... Kudos to Ethan and Pat! Please teach Jordan how to respect and treat your good customers!
Went here recently and was helped by their wonderful staff member Shane! Tested my old battery and assured me it was good as gone and helped me find the right replacement. Good and quick service. Will definitely be visiting again for all my battery woes! :)
Just got home from I. B. in Oviedo on rte 426. Excellent, friendly, honest service. It took about 9 minutes total to stop in, get a battery tested and install a new battery. Pat, your are outstanding, stay the same!!!
I had the best service and experience with Jordan when getting a car key battery and a watch battery. He answered all my questions and had me out the door in 10 minutes or less!

The employee behind the counter at the time was the only one in the store. He did amazing taking care of me while managing the rest of the store and keeping orderly conduct in the atmosphere. Some would probably say this man alone could move mountains and split oceans. The battery I purchased as well has been working perfectly and comes with great warranty.
Quality products and friendly service. My old battery was tested and a new one installed in about 20 minutes. This was just before Hurricane Ian. Knowing my car was ready to go, if needed, gave me peace of mind.

Patt was so awesome! I got there today 30 mins before they closed and there was probably 10ppl waiting. I watched him handle it so well, and I was instantly impressed. Most people would have been clearly flustered, rushing and probably not nearly as nice. He was so very courteous and conversational, just genuinely pleasant. It was by far the best customer service I've ever witnessed and experienced. The man deserves a raise!!
Terrible Business! I have been buying Interstate batteries for over 20 years and NEVER experienced such horrific customers service. I bought their top of the line Optima battery that cost me over $300 and comes with a 5 year warranty. After 3 years the battery stopped charging to 100% and would go dead every night. So I went to this store to get it warrantied and they said that they could not warranty the battery without charging it to 100%. After explaining to the manager Kevin again that the battery will not charge to 100% and that is why I came in Kevin still attempted to charge the batter to 100%. They left me standing there for over 4 hours waiting for a battery to charge to 100% that will never charge to 100% again!!! It was not like I wanted them to give me the replacement completely for FREE either. I was more than willing to pay for the usage they just didn't care and refused to do anything! I hope Corperate takes notice of how their franchises are running their business and how they are treating loyal customers.
Great experience and customer service. Pat was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different types of batteries and helped us find a replacement for our car key fob when we needed it. Very refreshing to walk in to a store and be treated with kindness and a smile. Pat provided an excellent customer experience.

This makes the third time that I have come here and the manager Mike has always seemed to have had an attitude, With his employees or a customer. I value good customer service above anything and this individual has none from what I can see. He really needs to learn how to talk to people with respect and present his words with respect as well, granted we all have a bad day but when a big part of your job is customer interaction you really need to keep it together.
I always get all my car batteries at Interstate. They are very reasonably priced and the warranty is great. As for the service, I have always received excellent service here at the Oviedo location. They are very expedient and it is a no hassle experience. The staff is always friendly, professional and courteous.
Had my review filtered and I don't know why, just checked. Shady business for having a review removed due to it not fitting their actual customer base. Notice the rash of 5 star reviews after I had posted mine 3 months ago?

Terrible interaction with customers. Waited over 10 minutes and was not even acknowledged. Manager, Kevin I believe was oblivious to who was in the store and was talking like he was hanging out with friends more than being in a professional environment. Ended up walking out of the store, may return when the staff decides to grow up or they hire new.
