Warm Mineral Springs is a body of water very small almost like a lake. It has a Sulphur like smell. It's been around since the prehistoric times. There are lounge chairs and regular chairs to sit in. You can get into the water and Float around with a pool noodle. There are restrooms but there are no showers to shower after being here. The water today feels very cold ? I only went in upto my thighs. Healing properties but come in April to December when the water is actually warmer. Not February.

It was good to go on a Friday morning. We arrived just after 9:00 and there wasn’t an issue with parking or a line to enter. There are plenty of chairs and the water is nice and calming. The deep area of the spring has a rope to distinguish it from the shallow edge, which is about 4 feet deep on average, and the center part of the spring is a couple hundred feet deep. We had a pool noodle and floated around for about an hour and a half.

Great place. The water was cool. Remember your body is 96 degrees so 85 degree water feels cold. Remove any silver jewelry because it will tarnish lol.

We had a great time! The water was so eerily deep (190-230 feet deep!) The sulfur smell wasn’t as intense as I worried it might be. The minerals made my skin feel great and we enjoyed learning the history found there. There were comfortable lounge chairs under beautiful shade trees. They had lifeguards watching closely for everyone’s safety. They had a bathroom where we could change. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.

What everyone else said. The shower rooms and snack bar were damaged in a hurricane so they just have a trailer and to use the bathroom. Water was dirtier than expected but you can still see your feet. Just lots of algae. Plenty of chairs to sit in. Make sure you bring water shoes. Cool piece of history. This will likely not be a place everyone enjoys.

Mineral rich water that has a lot of health benefits. There were plenty of chairs available. Find it relaxing to swim and relax. The entry fee of $20 per person is a little high though.

Incredible, Healing mild temp water. 86° year round.. but definitely not "warm" until you get out and come back in. That said, great experience. Interesting history and tasty Spring Water.

Very disappointed in this property. They claim its a warm mineral spring, it was Not Warm at all?. We felt like we were swimming in a dirty swamp!! Someone mentioned they saw a large tarpon??? They are Large fish. Property is still damaged from last hurricane, and not up and running. They had a temporary changing area and bathroom (reminded me of a outhouse). For the $20 fee per person, it was Definitely Not Worth it!!!!! Also, there's no food or drinks for sale, and NO SHOWERS!!!! Yuck? Very disappointed, and will definitely Not be Back!!

I stopped by to explore before we go. It has a larg parking lot. One food truck. A bit of a walk from parking lot to the water, so if you are challenged in that area you might want to be dropped off at the door. There are a lot of chairs and lounge chairs, but first come first serve. Plenty of room for a blanket to ly on. There were rinse off areas. There are ramps with rails entering into and out of the water. You can bring a noodle, your own towel, and pack a lunch. I did not check out the restrooms. Water didn't look deep. Was roped off into a circle. Everyone swimming in same direction. Life guards were on duty.

We loved it. Quiet, great water temperature especially now in the. Cold season, yes there is natural algae in the water, little fishes, the place is perfect to make a picnic minus the red ants ? there are plenty of chairs, nice people, and apparently they are reconstructing the entire left side from the hurricane and rebuilding new, thankfully would be great to stay a week or weekend! Good experience, lots of seating and space, slight odor from the minerals but worth doing.

Despite the limited facilities, the area was clean and the experience was enjoyable. The water is quite clear, and I didn't feel like shoes were needed in it - getting to the water they would be nice. A pool noodle is a great idea for leisure floating. A slight sulfur/mineral smell, but nothing crazy. I'm not sure I've found youth or a miraculously healed sunburn, but maybe it helped some.

Very nice, but there's nothing else to do besides enjoying the warm water. There are no shops where you can get a coffee or hot chocolate after getting out of the water; it feels cold, and the bad thing is that they don't have them.

$20 entrance fee for non residents seems expensive with no original vintage facilities open, just trailers of restrooms. There are life guards and free chairs available. Expect a variety of people - seems popular with the older European / Ukrainian population that is local to North Port - their admission is lower with residency.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 We spent about two hours at Warm Mineral Springs Park and swam for about 30 minutes at a time — what an amazing experience! This place is truly special — the lake has a fascinating history and is known for its rich mineral content and healing properties. The water stays around 83°F (about 28°C) all year round, and many people come here every year to help with back pain, skin conditions, and other health issues. The entrance is $20 per person, and the park is open until 5 PM. There are chairs and loungers available, plus restrooms and a foot shower. The changing cabins are still being rebuilt after the hurricane, but everything else is clean and well-maintained. A peaceful, relaxing, and rejuvenating spot — definitely worth visiting if you’re in Florida! ????? #Godblessed

Went November 8 with very beautiful weather. There is plenty of parking and do not know of any limit to people that can come and if they start turning people away. My guess is that c admission is pricey which turns a bunch of people away so it was not overly filled up. Admission of not a resident of area is $20 pet adult and $15 for teenagers. The buildings do look old but was not expecting a lot. Keep in mind they call it Warm Spring so the sulfur water was steadily pleasant. It was not warm like bath water but around 78 degrees. So it was so cold enough to feel like a heated pool. There is a large Russian community here. The average age at this spring is over 50. It is on the rarer side to see kids or young families. They have a rope around the drop off to where it gets 200 ft deep. The outer ring of the rope is just tall enough for 5ft 5 where people float or walk in a direction. I highly recommend noodles to help float. There were clumps of algae. Got there close to 10a.m. On the right side of going into area there are a ton of trees that had plenty of shade. They have plenty of plastic chairs and quite a few loungers. Since they are outside all the time they get rained on and can be a bit dirty but can easily wipe them. off. One thing I forgot is that I wear a silver ring. Do not wear silver jewelry or silver glasses in sulfur water as it tarnished the silver and comes out looking purple. Then you have to clean it. The bathrooms look old but it doesn't have any changing rooms or showers. People get upset because they pay a bunch to get in and stay expecting a lot more than the spring and state of the art bathrooms. If you are OCD this is not for you. Again my impression of high cost is to help keep numbers down unlike other springs where they actively turn you away when they reach capacity. After reading reviews of this area it is not meant to be pet friendly. I did not personally walk on any trails but a pet owner brought his dog and there were burs along trail so he had to give up. They do have a good truck or front. However I recommend bringing your food. The impression I have of this is people either love or hate it. I thought it was pleasant.

The warm spring itself was ok. The facility is a dump. The gentleman at the ticket counter said that it was approved in 2019 for a remodel but nothing has happened. You are not allowed into the buildings because the tarps are up and you can’t see them. Staff was friendly and the lifeguards seemed to be paying attention. The water was clear but the entrance ramps were filthy and old. The bathrooms were smelly and you had to change in the stall. It cost $20.00 to get in but they would have to pay me to go back

I was in the area with my dog and decided to visit. The location was easy to find and parking was easy. The wildflowers are beautiful and there are so many varieties. You could hear birds everywhere and the bees were napping in the flowers. My downside was as we walked I felt like pricks on my legs and mid trail my dog limped. I checked her foot and saw seven sand spurs in her pad. I removed all of them and immediately headed back to the parking lot. We had to stop four times to remove more as we walked. I would not recommend this trail for animals. There are also several fire ant mounds to be cautious of as well. I certainly understood it was a primitive nature walk, but I would have liked the heads up about the dangers underfoot.

OMG..OOMG..We willingly went to Warm Mineral Springs in North Port FL not very far from our Rental house...BUT when we got there....OMG is mild.. First its in middle of residential community..you park and pay $20 if you are not from Florida. At that point you enter a new world...it is pretty but it smells of extremely high sulphuric odor mixed with other fumes! But these older people...I guess my new age bracket!! From 60 to 100 are almost knocking you down to get into the place...they are all talking loudly and in foreign tongue predominantly Russian and Ukrainian..some of the signage is in Russian. You really need to read the history of this location which is why Shari Bush Parsons and I wanted to go there! The center which is roped off but people still crossed into the center....not me!! Nor Shari...is 200 Plus feet deep! There are minnows everywhere so fish and wildlife can swim here thus join you...and the water is NOT that clear...not clear enough for my comfort! You definitely want to bring something to float with...everyone keeps going around in circles like a weird macabre ritual...its like they are flocking there.. I found it all very disturbing to my psyche.. We were there about an hour total before calling it quits and running to our car..headed for Manasota Key Beach in hopes of getting the smell out of our pores! No concessions there! A 2ft shower for your waist down and bathrooms available no water or soda machines. Definitely bring a cooler no alcohol allowed no pets allowed and not kid friendly! I felt very European there!..

It took 5 visits for me to be convinced that this is a 5 star place. I'm not overly fond of the sulphur-like smell of the minerals; however, there's no denying that it has positively affected my skin, which I thought was beyond help. I am now a dedicated fan. The restrooms do not have showers -- but that works to your advantage, since leaving the mineral water on your body enables it to have a greater, longer-lasting effect.

Very good place . Good energy. Clean and organized. Lifeguards available. Ample parking. $20 per person. Plenty of seating. Only outside in the parking lot is there someone selling food. You can bring water, sodas, or food. Wear shoes when you get into the water (for added comfort). The water wasn't warm. There's a slight odor, but nothing to worry about.

Would I recommend this place? Yes would I go back? Probably not but I definitely enjoyed the experience. There is plenty of parking and it’s easy to park. No charge for parking. There is a $20 admission non-residence of the county. I think it’s 15$ for residents. They are still recovering from the hurricane so some of the buildings are shut down which is such a shame cause it’s so historic. I hope that they refurbish them and don’t tear them down. The spring was not that clear. Temperature was warm, but probably not 85 probably more like 78° . It’s in a good neighborhood . Visitors culture is diverse. Mostly Caucasian and some Latin. Russians, people from other countries…. There was a lot of senior citizens and some kids and families. The park was beautiful. They had plenty of lounge chairs and regular plastic chairs I would recommend packing a lunch as a concession stand is closed due to hurricane pack some sandwiches snacks drinks. There is a food trunk out front not sure of the food that it serves but the truck that was there definitely had coffee. There is a slight smell when you do get into the water from the sulfur, but it’s very easy to get used too. I definitely feel that the mineral water did have some healing agencies. It’s very interesting to read the history/info on website. Don’t be surprised if you have a good BM after a day at this park. Definitely a must see I would recommend Warm mineral water, spring hotel motel. For lunch or dinner twisted fork or Anna Maria or and Grill.

My daughter and I just went to this place we were so very excited to see these specific springs. We got here and lightning had struck in the area and was on a 30-minute wait to get back in the park we sat and waited. We got in paid $20 for me and $15 for her. We were in the park for 20 minutes total. The park is completely run down it's got green fence all around it that is torn up and keeping you out of a larger building which probably was some type of cafeteria and it had poorly maintained restrooms more like trailers if this is a Florida State Park Florida should be embarrassed on how they are keeping it maintained the staff was unfriendly and we got no refund just a shrug of the shoulders saying well it's fun if you if you get in. We got in it was not fun we did not like it. We did expect the stronger sulfur smell due to the high mineral content, however the lack Flow of the Springs themselves versus amount of people coming in and out makes it look murky and gross. There are many more Springs that are worth going to I 100% do not recommend this spring for reason.

I have lived in Bradenton, Florida for over 30 years and this was my first visit to the Warm Mineral Springs in North Port Florida. Almost everything at the park was closed and no reopening in site as far as buildings are concerned. There are two temporary trailers there and one is for a Ticket Booth (and other staff stuff) and then the other is a bathroom for the Men and Women. The men's room had 3 stalls, a couple of urinals and some sinks for washing your hands. No changing rooms, no showers, just a normal sized bathroom with very dirty floors. I'd assume most men would find it acceptable to change in. I assume the women's is equal, except with an additional stall or two in place of the urinals. The cost to float around in this medium sized pond until 5:00 PM is $20 if you are NOT a North Port resident (not exactly sure what type of discount they get). The pond itself, which was reported to have been created by a sinkhole (pond being roughly an acre maybe?) some time back. It is somewhat nice in appearance, I'm sure it's lovely first thing in the morning with no one in it yet, maybe some mist coming off of the waters. Anyway, back to the springs themselves, the pool of mineral water is full of green/brown algae blobs floating around in the circle. At the edge of the pond, the bottom is covered in the algae growing in the shallows. The spring empties from the pond via a small minnow infested stream. Some of the minnows do "escape" into the pond at times. I am sure that this "escape" is pretty much a death sentence. The water must be deadly to them considering the massive amount of dissolved minerals it contains. Yet, despite all of this (or because of it?), the water manages to be fairly clear. You will have no issues seeing your own toes on the bottom, so about 6 feet or 2 meters of very good visibility. I'm sure it's closer to roughly 20 feet or 7 meters of clarity if you get in the center, maybe a little bit more. It's also incredibly dark down at the bottom. Seeing it is not an option. It's also way past the ability of mortals reach via a free dive. I'm told that it's 200+ feet or about 67+ meters deep. However, I did do a little exploring of the drops edge and it's scary steep, nearly shear once you go out past the floats. NICE! Many will dislike the floating green\brown globs of goop in their swimming experience. So, I caution any unknowing future guests about this part of the mineral waters. The small (sometimes LARGE) blobs of algae, the everpresent denizens of this generally clear water, can be a huge turn off for some people that make it past the smell. Neither are anything to worry about, but your nose and eyes will tell you otherwise. This water contains massive amounts of dissolved salts and minerals, 87 are proven to exist. Apparently, this is a record for mineral springs. The salts are VERY much there. The water is probably close to being as salty as the waters of the Gulf. Remember, these salts in this water are not just the normal Sodium Chloride (NaCl) from your table side shaker. There are probably dozens of others in there, and they all add up to water that is more dense than plain old fresh H2O. This all means that you do float slightly better, it also means that you WILL feel it on your skin when you get out of the water. Be CAREFUL of the SUN! You have been warned. The seating provided will be either a plastic lounge or a simple chair, these being sprinkled all around the pond. Some are dirty (dirty feet being the most likely culprits), but most were fine with just a cursory wipe off. So, was it worth it? It was an OK experience, but I see this as a one time event for almost anyone. The price of entry, $20 is a little steep. I'm sure this price keeps the attendance low. However, even with few people in attendance, the inability of others to respect any type of personal space will have some park goers absolutely on edge. Finally, we brought our lunch, lovingly packed by my dearest friend. For others, there was a lunch trailer in attendance, so you could get something if you liked.

Smells like Sulphur and there are gobs of green stuff floating around. But we went in... and swam. It was fairly warm, lifeguards on duty. I think there had been a hurricane recently, and they were in the process of rebuilding. Everyone there was very friendly and there was a food truck in the parking lot.
