The staff is excellent and I would say if there is one major takeaway it would be to compliment of how efficient and thorough the company is. They run a very comprehensive diagnostic analysis of your vehicle with videos and pictures. Again VERY thorough. If there is actually something wrong with your vehicle you will know about it. They also add a nice touch with having a complimentary Lyft ride to and from your destination. So here is the only downside to my experience. IMO The price for service is high! However, if your bringing in a unique car or a rare European vehicle your going to get quality work and service. I brought my older Audi A6 in for a $90 oil change and got an eye opening experience after the full Car once over results and although I ended up having some other work done I would definitely recommend them. Would I go back? I would but I would check and compare prices on specific services to that of a dealer. Wish they were located on the East Coast closer to me as I would go back them for their quality work.
It took some time, however, JB took excellent care of my 2006 Mini Cooper. Mason and Michelle kept me well informed during the entire process. I can honestly say that my car is running much smoother and I'm pleased with my choice of JB.
February 3. 2026 Once again I was in for an oil change and to repair a rear light. Excellent service. Michelle and Mason were both easy to work with as well as the other guy whose name escapes me. It is so nice having a car care team who really go above and beyond to help. Thanks you guys!
I purchased a 2007 Aston Martin DB9 coupe. JB IMPORT AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR was recommended to be by a good friend. It was a good recommendation. I did it extensive repairs that was needed Plus maintenance service up-to-date. Special thanks to Mr. Hasan Hamade The exotic and highline section manager. This was my first time using JB Import Automotive Repair. I just moved to St. Petersburg from San Diego, California. It was super easy to bring my car into them. I got a regular service. They were absolutely amazing. I'm so happy I found someone here in St. Petersburg that can take care of my BMW.
VERY DISAPPOINTED with JB Imports. Customer service was poor. January this year I took my Land Rover into JB Imports. I told them: 1. Engine oil change – when I got home I decided to check the oil level. Did NOT register on the dipstick. Called to tell them. Next day manager came out. The manager said the manual said X amount of oil so that’s what they put in. NOBODY bothered to check the dipstick for confirmation! COMMON SENSE??? 2. a coolant leak - Coolant leak was a hose that was replaced – Cost $323. Had to! 3. Fix a tire with a slow leak - Instead I got told to replace my tires and they did NOT fix my tire. 4. Replace left a headlight – they said that I had 3 other small lights and to replace all of them – COST - $544.00 I declined 5. Driver’s door window inoperative. – Said it required new regulator cost - $1,296 declined 6. Vehicle Diagnostic check $226 note: I had a check engine light and they said nothing about it. I still don’t know what the light was indicating. Walked away with a $1,004.00 bill. Would not go back! Trust ???
From the first day i made the call to this company. Michelle was kind, consider it understanding knowledgeable and truly really listening to me ask me questions, ask me to send pictures. Every employee that answered that phone was so kind. I had the best experience by far the most above an beyond from the Employees, mechanics they made getting my car fixed, simple and easy and what topped off the appointment they even ordered me a Lyft to and from the company In which I very appreciative because I was worried about how I was going to get from there leaving my Vehicle and getting a ride back. Prompt service but grossly overpriced. $1,015 to change out a coolant hose fitting. Then quoted $3,500 to replace another coolant system part (coolant outlet). Declined $3500 extra service.Got a quote from another repair shop same day for $750 to perform coolant outlet repair. 4 hours labor and part is $150. How are you gonna charge $3,350 in labor? $3500 is vehicles value. Wow! My suggestion. Is definitely check with other mechanics before you pay these obnoxious prices.
I have a Maserati Levante S. I needed a basic service on the car and the dealership was really expensive. These are right down the street in St Pete, they knew how to work on my car and they were super nice and very complete. I never felt like they were trying to sell me something I didn’t need and were efficient and about 20% less than the dealership. I will be doing all my service with these guys going forward.

Went to replace battery, got my car back, battery light still goes on, driver's side window will not close all the way, more damage done to my car. Ryan also wanted to drive it 40 miles to Tarpon Springs to see the battery light go on. I refused because I knew this would be a joy ride in my SL 63 Mercedes Convertible. These guys do not know what they are doing. And they are nasty as well, Michelle especially, very nasty attitude and had absolutely no understanding about why a customer would be upset. Avoid this place at all cost.
I had a great experience from the beginning of inquiring about services for my vehicle to the end of service completion. Mason was the initial point of contact and was very easy to speak with. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The overall system that is in place, the presentation of your request with quotes and your ability to approve or decline in that moment was great. I did not feel pressured at any time to accept additional service recommendations. The options were made available. Actually, everyone that I had conversation and contact with were very friendly and warm, including the owner.
I had my brakes done here and couldn’t be more impressed. The quality of the work was excellent, but what really stood out was the communication throughout the process. They were transparent and respectful of my time. It’s rare to find this level of care and professionalism — I’ll absolutely be back.
Hassan was great to deal with, my 2004 Gallardo had a variety of deferred maintenance from prior owner. They were very communicative about the issues, laid out the quotes in advance, performed nice work at a reasonable price. will use again!
I brought my VolvoXC60 into the shop, because it was making a weird noise. I was met with so much kindness, as well as, timely updates throughout the whole repair process by their staff. Michelle at JB Import is a rock Star! I was in need of an alignment for my Tesla Model Y and she got me right in the same day. I prefer going to local shops as a dealer alternative and I’m happy I chose them.
Honestly I feel good bringing my Bentley there. Mr. Hasan is very professional and has really shown 100% service and comfort. I suggest that in the future owner install a carport to protect vehicles from the sun and weather. That should be considered. Expensive cars must and should be protected at all times. Since owners protect their investment. Besides that all is good. All services are under warranty and has Mr. Hasan name on it. I recommend shop.
I am a car collector with several European cars including several Porsches , Audi , Mercedes and most recently , Aston Martin. After acquiring my Aston Martin DB9 , the car had engine failure and transmission issues which I tried to resolve with the help of several Euro repair shops. After months the issue remained unresolved. I was eventually referred to Hassan at J&B Imports by another European Specialty shop. This has been the absolute best referral I have had for auto repairs and I have been collecting cars for decades. Hassan, the service manager, and Bradley , the technician assigned to my to my Aston repairs , stated with a very high degree of confidence that they were sure they could fix the car. After having the car not running for 10 months , having worked with several shops and advisors, including a dealership, I was not sure they could fix it but thought this would be my final attempt before ditching the car for parts. Much to my delight, the car is now running well and I am having them address a few other concerns with the car. These guys are totally transparent, very knowledgeable and meticulous with their work. Between the frequent, detailed progress reports and input on best path forward, I have the utmost respect for Bradley and Hassan as Automotive repair specialists and will trust them with the other vehicles in my collection. They are by no means inexpensive but if you seek results, these are the guys to repair and maintain your exotics. I travel 40 minutes to J&B and have found other like-minded car enthusiasts to be travelling from further away to have their cars maintained and repaired at J&B Imports. This is a testimony to the caliber work they do and the level of service and transparency.
JB Import and dealing with Hasan Hamade has been a 10/10 experience across the board. First shop that has provided picture and video evidence of repairs needed and advise on what are necessary repairs vs what can wait until later. I first came across this shop highly recommended when I bought a 1984 Rolls Royce Silver Spirit and it had issue after issue other Rolls Royce specialists could not figure out. Mike and Hasan were able to diagnose the issues and do multiple major jobs for me on that car. Since then I have purchased multiple cars through Hasan and other vintage RR elsewhere all exclusively serviced by the JB team and have not been let down once. Very glad to have met them and not only do business together, but also become friends with both Hasan and Mike and have been to multiple Rolls Royce and Bentley Owner Club meets and look forward to many more car deals together in the future.
To date with JB Import we have: - Fully restored my 1984 Silver Spirit - Purchased a 1977 Silver Shadow 2 that we recently took to the RROC national meet and won 2nd in Concourse - Repaired my 2000 Silver Seraph and Hasan helped me sell that within 1 day - Purchased a fully restored 1971 Silver Shadow 1 - Both purchased and restored a 1976 Corniche Convertible - And most recently Hasan helped source me a 2006 RR Phantom in the exact spec I wanted.
JB Import always does a great job at a reasonable price. I have a 2009 CLK convertible so it's pretty old, but after this last visit it sounds and runs like a new car. Their communication is outstanding and they always keep you updated. Payment is easy and I pay the invoice online to save time. The shop is immaculate, so clean you could eat off the floor. I will always take my car to JB Import.
