The employee named Mickey is very rude and unprofessional. He likes to argue with customers, doesn’t listen, and is extremely stubborn. On top of that, they sell incorrect parts. Save yourself the trouble and go to Advance Auto Parts just down the road.
My battery was on its last leg and Mikey at this O’Reilly location was so incredibly helpful. He gave me practical advice on which battery to choose and switched the old battery with the new one so quickly. Online it said that battery might not be eligible to be switched because of my car, but Mikey is such a pro and did it in the blink of an eye! Big thanks for turning the inconvenience of having a dying car battery into a pleasant experience!
We needed a battery for our 1997 Chevy S10 truck which is hard to find because it has side posts. Dietrich was awesome as he helped us find the battery we needed at the right price. I would definitely recommend this store! Great service! And great prices!
Stopped by here on my way home from work for an issue with a battery. I asked Dietrich if he could help me out and he was more than happy to assist me. Diagnosed the issue was my battery and offered me a recommendation for a battery to grab. He was super chill and very knowledgeable. However much he is getting paid is not enough, he is an asset to this company and Oriley should be honored to have such a great employee.
Very knowledgeable and courteous even though I only needed a few items I didn't have in my tool box. I was able to ask questions about another purchase I'll need soon. They took their time explaining what I would need.
We were terrible people and came into the store at 15 minutes to closing and Mikey and Billy helped my wife and I with extremely positive and upbeat attitudes. Thank you for helping giys.

Had a good experience at this store today. I bought a starter at another O'Reilly in 2010. It included a Lifetime Warranty. I brought the receipt and the starter in. Roy. needed to call the manager since he'd never seen a 15-year old receipt, or how to enter this into the computer. Eventually, all was solved and I was on my way with another Lifetime Warranty part! Love it. I hope I get another 15 years out of this starter. Great job Roy!
Later in the day, I needed to return a core of a power steering pump to the Advance Auto around the corner. When I got to the counter, I asked about their warranty. The lady tells me it is lifetime, but that only covers "manufacturing defects", not normal wear and tear. Clearly they won't replace my pump if it fails in 15 weeks, let alone 15 years!
My truck has 350,000 miles and it is just broken in. As long as nobody crashes into it, we'll be back for another starter around 2039.
I like this company for their great prices on lots of different parts for boats, auto and ATV's! Also the ability to order online and go pick it up from the store is really essential for me and anyone with busy schedules. From small projects to large ones they can definitely assist you with any of those needs, also accessories and parts for foreign model vehicles to include interior and exterior needs. There's also a friendly staff of professionals to help you out also with anything such as ordering parts for your vehicle or testing a battery or alternator for free or installing windshield wipers!
I've been here a few times. The customer service has been excellent. Have dealt with Sebastian, Jon and Mark. They have always been helpful, polite and personable. My go-to parts store now.
They don't carry a very confidence inspiring car battery brand. Super Start for $150 and it's a 1 year battery... That's pretty trashy. Who would even carry a 1 year battery? Should be 3 and 5 year only. Then of course lithium gel, Optima and other higher end. Other than that, like most auto parts stores, you can find decent accessories for cleaning or fluid fills.
I spoke with Jon on the phone a few weeks ago about my battery. When I came in the store a few hours later he recognized my car and was happy to help install a new battery! Very friendly and great service.
I've been here many times, I'm grateful for this store because everyone here is always helpful and efficient. They didn't have an item I was looking for but Zay went above and beyond to take care of me and get me what I needed!
Nice store with a good selection. I have been in approximately five times with not much luck finding parts that are stocked. They seem to always have to order them. Customer Service is ok. No one loves their jobs there and it shows. No enthusiasm to help whatsoever. I did however receive some good help the last time I was in and actually left with a part! O'Reilly will still always be third on my list to get parts, if the other two main chain stores don't have it in stock. Maybe someday the ranking will change, but nothing fantastic or rewarding has come from my visits as of yet.
The stores clean it's well stocked and good help. The downfall to me is their parts are more expensive than other places. The store is nice enough that sometimes it's worth paying a little more. However they're free on with three times as much as it was at Walmart same brand
I stopped in to get some cleaning supplies for my first brand new vehicle in 15 years. I was staring at all the new stuff for cleaning and one of the counter guys came over and took his time to walk me through all the goodies. He was super pleasant and helpful to talk to. Answered all my questions about what worked best and even some tips and tricks based in his and his wife's own experience with their recent new car. I've stopped in a few times for quick stuff and have always had a real pleasant experience. If you need car parts or supplies and you are in the north east St Pete area, you can't go wrong with the O'Reilly's on MLK and 62nd Ave
Sean needs a promotion. I came in to the store, not entirely sure what was wrong with my car. He quickly pointed out that I needed a new battery and walked me through the entire process. He was very helpful and professional
They need to have more than 1 person working at a time. I went to ask for help changing a break light, but the employee wasn't able to help because he was the only person working at the store. I went to Autozone and they had no problem changing it even though I didn't buy them there.

I have had countless bad experiences here From parts not getting there on time to the people behind the desk...hate to name names but his name is Nick... he obviously doesn't know what he is doing back there. He needs to be trained better or be replaced with somebody that has more pride in doing the job... I have bought tons of parts here and have had issues every single time. I will drive further away to another parts store before I ever come back to this one.
Was going on a long trip and had to check my oil but didn't know how. Went up to O'Reilly's, they let me know what oil I needed to purchase. Then showed me how to check my oil and add it. I know it was a simple thing i should know but I didn't. Jacob was very helpful and informative. I now feel comfortable doing it by myself. Thank you
Outstanding service. Got a flat right outside the shop and needed a new jack after my standard one slipped after getting my flat off.
David went above and beyond in helping me use the new jack to rebalance the car and get my spare on. I cannot express how grateful I am for his help!
I stopped in here to get oil put in my car. The representative was very helpful and informative. he advised me on the type of oil I need for my car he did look it up. he also answered any questions that I had. He explained the proper way to fill the oil and how to determine how much you need without overfilling as he stated that can damage the engine. I will definitely go there now as my first choice in automotive needs because I feel I can trust them to help me when needed!
Danny was incredibly helpful! I stopped in to see why the “Brake” light was on in my dashboard (thinking it meant my truck needed brake fluid but not 100% sure) He not only confirmed that my thinking was correct, but told me which type my ‘00 Explorer takes, got it off the shelf, and even poured it into the brake fluid reservoir for me! All in all it took about 5 minutes and I left feeling happy and well taken care of as a customer. Thanks again Danny, you’re awesome!
