Waited 4 hours for the truck to arrive. it was on the highway on the shoulder. driver arrived and left within 2 minutes. I was walking up the exit ramp calling him. he answered and told me he would circle back around and then cancelled the call.
Very rude. Very unprofessional. I will be recommending my insurance removes them from their list and I will show my dash cam video to everyone once I am home.
Please never use them. you have to literally go out of your way to own a towing company and do these type of things to people.

Bad business. Got towed at around 4 am. Got to my car as the truck pulled up and they hooked it up as i was telling them i’m going to move it. Once hooked up told me he can only drop it for $60 cash. Cash at 4 am. Told the driver I don’t have cash and that I can zelle/venmo or pay with card but he insisted on cash only. I’m pretty sure he just wanted to scam me out of 60 dollars honestly. Told the driver I cannot do cash and they started swearing at me and started to get violent. Ended up telling me to meet him in the road to fight. Ridiculous behavior from an employee at a company. They operate more like a criminal organization than they do a company. Violent scam artists. Long story short: car got towed as i was walking up to it, guy wouldn’t release it for anything other than $60 cash, started getting aggressive and violent trying to threaten me, then drove off making me pay $130 the next day at the lot.
If I could leave a 0 I would. I don’t understand how you tow 24/7 but the office isn’t 24/7. If you have ppl to tow, you should have someone in office for people to come get their car. I got towed right before work and couldn’t even go get my car. They also towed my neighbor a few days prior. We tried to go get her car around 5pm and no one was there.
Amy and the entire team did a great job!! Unfortunately the vehicle being towed was too close to a fence that was damaged during the process. The company was amazing and left a voicemail informing us of the issue. They sent out a repair person who did such a good job we plan to use them for more work. This company showed exceptional integrity.
They towed my vehicle from a residence where I was not illegally parked but did have other business to handle. At this moment I'm a homeless veteran and all of my personal belongings including my clothes food drink and very important and very personal documents were in this vehicle. They saw me n did not leave a business card or anything. Other than that, the actual place of business was decent and fast. A pretty affordable and business casual type experience is most likely the average experience.
They towed my car from my own apartment complex when we had a sticker on the car. Then the manager was too distant to deal with this for over a month of calling everyday. And Regina, the lady behind the counter has “forgotten to call me back” 5 times. Needless to say they pretend to be nice and have no rules they’re just in it for the money. They need to hire more competent and ethical individuals
Based on my experience, American Eagle is unreliable. I called them for a tow and was told I would be contacted by the driver. I was never contacted and did not receive assistance.
If I could choose a negative 10 stars I would but I had to at least choose one to write this review. Hands down the most horrible service I have ever received from any establishment ever. The car was towed on a Saturday night. So Sunday we had to pick it up the next day. We make it to the location to find that the attendant wasn't present. The gate was locked. We called, and the on duty driver states that he is 20-25min away. Which was a lie. We waited for at least 45min. And was still prompted to pay full price. I have never had to wait on a tow company to get MY car. Not only did we have to wait but the on duty driver was rude. Hanging up in my ear and telling me the if I didn't have time to pick up the car that day, that I could come the next day and pay the $25 holding fee. Pretty much letting us know that he didn't give a f.. about not being present and that he didn't care about offering some type of discount for the inconvenience. It's one thing when you can pick and choose who to give your business to. But when it comes to a service like towing and you can't always choose who tows your car(parking enforcement), the service should at least be decent. This service was BELOW SUB PAR. I don't even know how someone could continue doing business being as rude and ignorant as the man was who I spoke with today.
I got into a car accident and was forced to use this towing company. When It was time to get my car released, It was an unbelievable hassle and it was like they were keeping my car hostage.
Now pulling up to my car which was NOT totaled in the accident, I noticed a new dent in the backside of my car. The accident occurred in the front of my car. My car was oddly way out in the open and not in a row like the rest of the cars. Someone at the tow lot backed into my car and caused an entirely NEW dent in my car. Unbelievable! They acted as nothing happened and didn't even say a word to me. This "Tow Lot" should not even be considered that. If anything it is a junkyard in a dirt lot with almost all the cars being very old, rusted, and falling apart.
For the unlucky souls who have to use this tow company be prepared for a very bad experience. These other reviews are TRUE.
American Eagle's Nate Fleming was a God send! He went over and beyond to help me with my vehicle. He was patient, kind and honest. He made sure my vehicle recovery was what was best for me and gave honest and fair recommendations for my repair. He showed patience even after hours to make sure my family and I were safe and taken care of. He not only helped with getting me to a mechanic, he helped to waive different fees and pricing just to be a blessing. I dont know any other towing company that would do that without receiving anything in return. I am not sure of the other reviews but he has been nothing but a blessing for my family and I. Again, I appreciate everything that he and his company have done for us. Thanks again! Will highly recommend!
Towed my car from Monterey Apartments, "due to an outdated decal which they said read 10/18" the problem is my birthday is in August the decal clearly said 08/19. I call the driver was rude. Called back to speak with a manager, the young lady that answered stated she was the manager. During the conversation, she hangs up on me! I was headed to pick up my car, called back she stayed we're bringing the car back. The bring the car back to the apartment complex and drop it off in a random spot I had to walk the parking lot to locate MY car. Due to this, I missed an entire day of work!!!!
My car got towed by this company at an apartment complex that I live in, no incorrect parking or anything. It was so shocking. If my boyfriend wasn't there for me I have no idea what I would have done. I filed a police report and nothing was ever done. My decal was ripped off and the towing company is the only one who had the ability to enter my car. It was locked with no sign of break in. You can make a million explanations but occam's razor would say that they took it off to get money for my car. Disgusting.
It is absolutely disgusting to me that a tow company would choose to tow a handicap van with a disabled placard in the window. I was admittedly parked in a tow away zone - however, so were many other vehicles due to the downtown winter parade and I was the ONLY one who appeared to be towed (stranded) after the parade ended. My handicap van is used to transport my disabled 6-year-old daughter. I truly just can’t believe one of your employees looked in that lot full of vehicles and said “yeah, I think I’ll tow the van with a wheelchair ramp.” What a complete lack of compassion and human decency. You should be ashamed of yourself.
I got my car towed because I parked in a tow away zone. It was a large lot and there were tow truck drivers speeding and mishandling quite a few cars because they were trying to get as many as they can from the lot in a small amount of time. But anyway getting towed happens, no biggie, so I paid the fee and retrieved my car. What I was unprepared for however was a large dent and scratch on the side. I had literally purchased two new tires and had my car aligned that morning. But now I have insane external damage. Now I am trying to figure out what I'm going to do about it and am weighing my options. All in all, I feel they need to ensure that tow truck drivers are not mishandling the vehicles and subjecting them to unneccessary damage. And they should fire the ones that insist upon reckless operation. It's honestly very upsetting.
Wish I could give zero stars. Towed car from complex without authorization. Made excuses on why they could not bring back car. I would have to wait until midnight for original driver to come on shift in order to have car dropped off. No Uber offered no type of consideration for the inconvenience just that I can pick car up with no fee. Basically have to find a way to pick up car that they illegally towed.
My son had his car towed and paid the fine the following day. Unfortunately, the towing company didn't realize this and reported the car stolen to the police who suspected my son took his car without paying the fine. I called the staff to provide THEIR invoice number for the payment. Staff was very rude.
Extremely unprofessional business! My car was towed due to an unfortunate misunderstanding of visitors’ parking hours. I agree that I was illegally parked and, thus, at fault; however, in this situation, instead of speaking with me to correct the problem, the towers chose to continue to banter with all those present in the background, screaming profanities and showcasing nothing but ill repute. The tower was accompanied by his wife and little daughter, such an environment truly not suitable for any child her age. As I inquired more about the length of time I would have to acquire the amount of money needed to get my car back, the “wife” began to chime in with the banter of the crowd who had then gathered nearby...AGAIN, all in front of their child. Throwing a blanket on an adolescent’s head may block them from seeing the lack of couth, but it is still audible. The cops were called, and when I explained to them the situation and absence of professionalism, EVEN THEY agreed. If you know the car belongs to me and I am at your window trying to pay, why bother speaking or giving attention to anyone else?! I apologized to the police officers for wasting their time with a situation that could have been handled in the allotted 15 minutes, had this towing company done their job effectively and efficiently. As further proof, much time has passed since I paid and I have yet to receive my digital receipt, which was said would only take 30 minutes in front of the police officers.
Upon calling the advertised number for this company to express my disdain and complaint, I was introduced to yet another facet of how unprofessional this company can be. Most likely, the reason behind this company’s lack of proper, positive customer service stems from the manager, Regina, and her husband. After explaining to her the mockery placed upon me, she created this long excuse of “They’ve been towing cars for 10-15 years...people have shot at them, tried to take their cars, etc.” The entire time she was speaking, I began to contemplate again why anyone would want to bring their child in an environment that they know can be so dangerous. My rebuttal, you can’t assume that every customer will be like your worst. They all were aware the vehicle belonged to me, but were too preoccupied with the ramblings of the crowd to focus on the customer at hand - As further proof of this fact, I even expressed to the tower my uncertainty and lack of approval of his speech in front of his daughter, and he had the audacity to reply with a threat proposal, “had his daughter not been present.” When I informed Regina of the actions of her workers, she replied that she had been present the entire time, idly watching as her workers made a mockery of themselves in front of the crowd, in front of the police officers, in front of their children. She began to tell me that I was unreasonable and was only upset because my car was towed. Clearly, I had the resources available to remedy the situation, but their APPARENT and UNWAVERING lack of respect for their customers and their adamance to their own pride truly shine forth in an unflattering manner.
I await my receipt; furthermore, as an MBA student, if you ever need help or advice to improve the functions of your business, I’d be more than happy to contribute. We can think of it as community service...
This business is run and maintained by the very same unprofessional people who lack a genuine concern for customer satisfaction. It is not acceptable to choose when you want to be decent. There should be no distinct difference in respect given towards those who call you for towing and those whom you’ve towed. If I park illegally, does that make me a criminal? So why should I be treated as such when trying to rectify the situation? I challenge this company to use better discernment moving forth. Hire someone with true expertise and skill, other than those skills required to actually tow the vehicles. If this be a family business, you’ll be surprised how many limitations you may set upon yourself with a stubborn mentality.
My interaction with this company was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I felt unsafe and legitimately threatened by the owner. I was yelled at for asking about the status of my car and rude doesn’t even begin to describe the encounter. If you are young, or feel at all unsafe I recommend bringing someone you trust to this location.
***Update: I have spoken with the owner and he is getting the new tenants some decals so that this will not happen again. he is also refunding my tenant's "drop charge".***
We use this company to tow our parking lot. Recently got a new tenant and they tried towing his vehicle tonight. Tenant told the guy he was a new tenant and was working there and the tow truck driver still made him pay a drop fee. Then I called and asked him to please not tow our parking lot any more tonight until we get this straightened out with a better decal system and he was rude and hung up on me.
These people are trash 0 stars if I could have my 7 month old son in the car dispatched for 90 mins waited 2 hours no show up and I keep getting dispatched with these people 0 starts worse company I ever had to deal with it come across close the whole business just trash nobody answering now probably riding around doing nothing getting paid for it
I had my car towed last night at 10pm and immediately called. The operator told me that my car was on its way to the tow lot and that no estimated time of arrival could be given. I was told to pick up my car before 11am so I could pay $105 before an $140 excess charge. The time is currently 9:21 am and I’ve been here since 7 am. The gates are locked, no one is picking up the calls, and the voicemail is full. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had regarding my car.
One of our cars was totaled. The Sherriff's Department had it towed away by American Eagle and stored until we could get the
paperwork done to release it. The facts are that there was a sum of cash in the glove compartment when the car was wrecked, but it was
gone after it spent a week on American Eagle's lot. American Eagle also charged us for certified letters that never arrived at the house. These people are more than shady. It is a shame that they are patronized by Law Enforcement. They are crooks, pure and simple. Stay away.
Awful service. Our car was stolen. After being missing for about a week it turns up in Tally. They recovered it and sat on it for three days to drive the rates up then contacted TPD. TPD admitted that it’s standard behavior from them but there’s nothing they can really do about it. Old man at the Front desk refused to talk or deal with my wife cus (his words) “women are too unreasonable”. When I questioned his lack of professionalism he said (his words) “we not professionals, we slum dogs.”
Don’t trust this garbage company with any of your business, they sure don’t care.

This is the worst service I have ever had in my entire life. I parked in a space that did not have a towaway sign and when I come back from the store I went to I come back and see my car up in the tow truck getting ready to leave. I asked the guy named Tim who was towing my car why I was getting towed and very rudely responded he was taking it no arguments. We called him down, he gave us 5 minutes to get 50 Dollars and he wouldn’t take it. We gave him the money and told us if we needed to park that night we could use the parking infront and he wouldn’t take it, he was the only one on a run that night. We parked there then. After a few hours we come back ane our car is gone by the same guy named Tim.
We called the guy of the number in the place they had the car and told us he would be there in two hours and we had to then wait for TWO hours wasting time. After paying again without any discount offered by them we come to find that our bags are missing with our computers. Their workers will Open your car and takr your valueables!! We are in the process of a police investigation but meanwhile me and my two friends don’t have our books and computers that got stolen from these thieves. How are we suppose to do our studies because we are students and depend on that fully.
My car got towed which sucked but the woman there was so nice and helpful. I was very upset but she definitely kept me calm whether she knew it or not. Hope she sees this, wish I got her name.
Towed mother’s wrecked car. Next day...No signage at all so almost impossible to find. No parking spots visible. Disgusting, no face masks or hand sanitizer in a tiny disgusting trailer. Dangerous FAR walk to car to remove possessions and tag. Car Parked in tall bushes full of debris. The employee did remove the tag for us, With our tools, since we couldn’t access it easily. which was the only positive part. Potholes and debris everywhere. If you have a choice, steer clear!
Horrible service, you would think they would answer the phone after taking someone’s car but no. Then in order to pick up your car someone obviously has to be there but there isn’t! This place clearly isn’t 24 hours.
Towed truck and trailer for us had an issue brought it back to the yard and did not charge us extra. Extremely grateful for how resourceful these guys were and helping us deal with an angry truck stop. Great service great guys
