The staff there are great. I needed help replacing a plug, and since they didn’t have one in stock, they helped to troubleshoot my issue. I go there frequently for parts and advice.

It’s almost like a treat to go there. He’s has so many hidden treasures. You just have to go and find it yourself. He can lead you in the right direction though.

Lots of trash. Hard to find anything. I get it. Like a scavenger hunt. But he knew he didn't have the parts I was looking for but wasted my morning suggesting I come up and look. Meh. I won't recommend this place.

Great place for parts if you're building a project boat or just maintaining a new boat. A place you need time to wander and look catalog in your mind resources they have for future projects. Shopped here for 30+years

Lots of parts! So much that you need to go with plenty of time to find what you’re looking for. Bring cash for a better chance to negotiate the price

TONS of spare parts! We dropped in to look for some lights. Had a few, but not what we were looking for. TONS of props in new to nearly new condition, as well as some antique pieces. Fun stop.

Beyond belief. Three out of four times should I visit there? They have exactly what I need for very reasonable price. It just takes a little bit of walking around.

Billy was absolutely wonderful! I walked in, inexperienced and needing help. Billy took the time to educate me and walk me through everything I needed within my budget. I am happy I decided to come in today. Thank you so much!!

This place rules! Today was my first time visiting and it was better than I could ever imagine. So much to pick through, the scale of it all is incredible. The employees greeted us and asked if we needed help then let us go do our own thing. Can’t wait to come back when I remember to bring a hat and closed toe shoes. Weird looking dogs though ;)

Average, great selection of used boat equipment is really good, definitely go there if you need spare parts, however don’t expect much customer service or service with a smile.

It's been a couple years since I've been there, but they have always have had great service and prices. He can point you in the right direction to find what you need. It's also kind of neat just to walk around to browse. The best part is it was free to get in. The car places you have to pay to pull your own part.

Steve and the crew are legends. Don't expect them to bend over backwards to help you find what you need, you got to dig through the piles sometimes to find what you need, like a true sailor. But they most likely have exactly what you need for a much better price then worst marine!

Place is way overpriced. Came here looking for a small trailer and the guy wants prices as if he has brand new stuff. Also he won't say a price, has you make an offer and then says your not even close and doubles it.

Today, my husband and I visited Dons. This was my first time joining him to shop here. We were kindly greeted at the front, who offered to show us the location of the items we were in search of. Guiding us through the idles and isles of boat parts. I was in awe with the amount of stuff. It was seemingly endless. From motors and anchors to wires and bolts if you need it, chances are Don's got it! I see why my husband speaks so highly now. They've got the odd parts that other stores no longer carry or just don't sell. Looking for anything boat and don't mind it being used, this is the place to go. Allow yourself a little extra time when coming here. If you're anything like me, you'll find yourself wondering the isles, checking it all out. The vintage feel and nautical vibe is hands down one of a kind. The history being some of these boat parts sparked my curiosity as well. All around, it was a great experience. I highly recommend checking here for parts and accessories. Thanks to the staff for their help, kindness, and sharing their knowledge and time with us today.

We love this place! It is a boater's paradise, if you have to be willing to dig around a bit. We found just what we were looking for.... and it was something really unique for our sail boat. It was a rainy day when we were there, so we missed a lot, but hope to go back. The owner of the business was so kind, and the workers were too. A big thank you for being there !

Billy was great. I wanted to buy a new tilt and trim unit. I brought mine into compare, he helped me break the cap loose instead of selling me something. He really took the time to make sure i had what i needed when i left. If you have boat issues, I suggest guving them a call or stopping by. There's a lot of cool stuff to look at too

A broken mast, split in two following the recent hurricane, nearly spelled the end of our sailing days on our beloved Vintage Beneteau First 26. Our good fortune was discovering Don’s Marine Supply and Salvage with its wonderful folks, Steve, Bill and Jack. What a fabulous place with such knowledgeable people so ready to help. Unbelievably we found an almost exact replica of our mast, just a bit shorter. What a wonderful gift that Steve delivered it to us after hours from St.Pete to the Sarsasota Squadron on the Saturday before Christmas. How delighted we are to have discovered this treasure trove of a place with loads of stuff and such caring people to help. We’ll surely be back.

The guy's there are awesome with their knowledge an always extremely helpful. They always work with me when I need something which is greatly appreciated. Not many businesses do that that these days. They're like extended family. Don's will always be my first and only go to place for all of my boating needs.Don's is absolutely massive and has every part whether it be for a sailing vessel or motor vessel. It could take you a week to walk through and see everything that is there. No matter where else you go you will never beat Don's prices. An don't forget to bring a snack for the goats

Fantastic! We recently went to Don's for the first time and we were not disappointed! 14 acres of segmented goodies to go through! Just need a propeller? There is a whole warehouse full of them! Not sure what you need? Don's vast selection of goods makes finding the solution easy. At a time like this, when building materials are practically unaffordable; why wouldn't you visit Don's? We personally do not own a boat however, we found tons of materials and items that we can use in our camper van at a fraction of the cost. Although the items aren't all individually priced; they do have multiple employees on site that can assist. Don't know where to look? They will point you in the right direction =) Don's also has pet goats and chickens (separate from the salvage yard so you aren't dodging goat pellets while walking through). They were a bonus addition to our visit - they love being pet! Things to consider: If its a sunny day; it'll be HOT! I'm considering bringing an umbrella for added sun protection next time...and there will be a next time! We only found one building that had a fan; if you have one of the small portable fans that goes around your neck we suggest bringing it and some water.

A truly eclectic marine surplus store. Some product is new but most is used, some heavily. If you’re seeking a hard-to-find replacement part for your boat, consider stopping. Prices are fair but not great for the condition of the used items. Comparison shop if you’re seeking a stellar deal.

Surprisingly pleasant visit. I needed couple of things for my project boat. I have previously read some bad reviews about the place but my visit was okay. Plan to spend couple of hours if you’re looking for something specific, he probably has it but you need to look for yourself. The guy at the cashier was very helpful. I had an issue with my boat and he actually spent some time explaining what might cause the issue and how to fix it without trying to oversell items. As for prices, it was reasonable but he could do better if he wants to move inventory. Won’t really negotiate price so that was kinda only downside. All in all I would recommend a visit to the shop, as I will be back when in-need of parts.

I went today to just have a look and left with a few things. I've been looking for a single burner alcohol stove and an emergency VHF antenna and found both at a great price. Even with the good prices, they are still willing to negotiate. I will be back, next time with a list and measurements.

A boat lovers toy store. Acres of everything boat (and motors)! They have always treated me very well. I showed up an hour before they opened one morning wanting to beat traffic. One guy was in early, opened up and got me on my way. Put me way ahead of schedule for the day! Much appreciated Don's Marine!
