I can't recommend Atlantic Towing & Recovery Inc. enough. I recently came in with a badly damaged undercarriage, and their team truly went above and beyond.
The hospitality from Joe and Joe was exceptional, and they completely outperformed my expectations for service. They were professional, thorough, and made absolutely sure I didn't leave unsatisfied with the work. It's rare to find such a welcoming environment for automotive services.
They have definitely earned a customer for life. I will be coming back to Atlantic Towing for any future automotive troubles I may have in the Boca Raton/South Florida area. Highly recommend this local business!
Extremely unprofessional. My 70 y.o mother was in a car accident, Progessive dispatched this company and upon arrival the tow truck driver did not come out of the truck for 10 mins, I called the number given to me and was met with such disrespect I was in disbelief. I called and said "Hi, I was dispatched a tow truck but the tow truck has been here for 10 mins and hasn’t come out yet" the young lady who answered told me "he should be out in a moment then" in a condescending tone, I said okay thank you and hung up. 15 more minutes go by and still nothing, I call back and was then answered by a "Joe M" who proceeds to tell me to "have common sense and go knock on the door of the truck" and that "its your car being towed right, then go knock, its not that hard", I then ask him for his name he tells me its Joe M and I then ask to speak to his supervisor, he then says "why does it matter, just go knock on the door" and hangs up. I call again and say to him that the driver is not coming out even after I used "common sense" as he advised and that I would like to speak to his supervisor due to his atrocious customer service, he refuses and says to hold on. Lo and behold, the driver begins to turn his truck on and proceeds to attempt to tow my mother’s car. Never lowered his window to say anything to me, never came out of the truck to let us know who he was and confirm the tow. I stood in front of my mothers car and did not allow the tow to happen, he then drives off, he realizes he forgot to take pictures of the car before leaving and begins to reverse and park his car next to my mothers car. Now is when he decides to get out of his truck to take pictures of my mothers car and that is when I confront him and ask him why it took over 20 mins to get in any form of contact with him to begin the tow when he was literally parked in front of our car with us waiting outside and why there was no communication at all for more than 10 mins before me having to call. He then says that he was SLEEPING, he was sleeping and waiting for it to stop drizzling (it was never drizzling b/c the rain had stopped long beforehand, hence why we were standing outside waiting). So according to Joe M who was working between the hours of 3pm - 6pm on November 5th and assisting the driver who was also working those hours and operating the truck with the license plate number: BJ95AA, it was MY job to have common sense and wake the driver up to do HIS job. God forbid my mother was alone having to deal with this. Thank you Joe M for your words of wisdom, since you refused to allow me to speak to your supervisor I will use the little common sense that I do have and leave this review here as well as reporting it to the Better Business Bureau and the City of Boca Raton as I have already reported it to Progressive and the third party company that selects the towing companies used to fulfill their claims.
Update: They replied claiming that they refused to service me which is a lie. I refused to allow them to tow my mother's car after being berated on the phone. I was never rude until I was spoken to so callously and with disrespect. I have the interaction &the driver on video saying that he fell asleep waiting for the rain to stop (video is too big to upload), so no it didnt only take 20 mins, and I shouldnt have had to wait for someone to finish taking their nap to do their job, so now not only are they lying and not taking accountability for their actions but are now trying to shift the blame on the customer. Very unprofessional, no wonder you guys have the customer rating that you have not only on here & on Yelp (1.9) but you guys also have had your license suspended in the past due to shady business practices via Palm Beach County Public Safety Consumer Affairs. You guys need to work on your customer service and how you speak to people. The only ones that were rude were you guys, Im not the only one that has left a review stating that & your response says it all.
Our Volvo needed a tow through their roadside assistance warranty and Atlantic Towing & Recovery was assigned the job. They arrived within 45 minutes with a flatbed, which was faster than I was expecting. Burt, the driver, was super friendly, answered all the questions I had and then quickly had the car on its way to the Volvo dealership, where it arrived with no issues. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
This place should be investigated by the police for fraudulent business practices. Had my necessary documents ready to go before closing at 6pm, however the female worker couldn’t be bothered to wait that long and told me she was leaving, and to call her if my notarized documents came through before 6, to which she would return since she lived “around the block”. However every phone call to both her and the official number went unanswered and I was unable to receive my property until the following day, along with receiving an additional charge.
Took care of our car after a late night accident, Brittney was so so helpful getting our possessions out of the car the next morning, very kind and professional service.
I was in an accident on I95 my car was done. I called them on Friday night at 6:53PM, they actually answered the phone. He helped me figure out where on 95 I was, and the tow truck arrived at 7:07PM. They towed the car to my mechanics shop.

They only get 1 star because I had to select it to leave this review. Otherwise they deserve less than 1 star. They are just horrible. When they towed my son's car they pulled it from the rear, which is what the tow truck driver told me over the phone. He came and towed the vehicle considerably earlier than the time I was given and damaged the front bumper as well as the front under carriage of the car and denied doing it, so they won't pay to have it repaired. I must put in a claim with my insurance! They need to go out of business! Horrible tow service!! They don't care about your car that you work hard to pay for and take care of.
Since I can't respond to your rude response to my review, I will say this, you don't have very many good reviews, so there is your proof of bad service and rudeness! Also it doesn't matter what type of car I have, there is no need to damage it while towing and then deny it! Now that's BS!!!

We are currently stranded in a parking lot after waiting over an hour for Atlantic towing showed up, then upon arrival the driver filled our tire with air to show where the hole in the tire is (even though the run flat tire was clearly deflated and we did not care where the hole was) and then said they had to leave because they had an accident to go to. It is 100% unacceptable to start a job and then just leave the customers stranded and having to wait for a different tow truck. Because Atlantic Towing decided to leave, we now need to wait another hour for a different tow truck which will cause us to have to leave our car overnight at the dealership for the tire to be replaced tomorrow. I will also be reaching out to the city of Boca Raton to let them know that the tow truck company they have contracted is so irresponsible that they would act in this way. It should also be noted that Atlantic Towing stated their only alternative to just leaving; was for us to leave the keys to our car in the car and they will pick it up at an unknown time later in the evening. It is not only unprofessional, but also irresponsible to even suggest that. I highly doubt Atlantic Towing would have taken responsibility for any items that would have been stolen out of my vehicle or if someone would have decided to just steal it and drive it till the rim fell off.
**Since I cannot respond to your reply, I am making an edit to my original review. The excuse of “the police take a priority…” is not only unprofessional, but also ridiculous! Just because you have a contract with the Boca Raton Police Department, it does not excuse your company from leaving a customer stranded for hours. If you do not have enough employees to handle your calls for service then maybe you shouldn’t have bid to get a contract with the city. We had already waited hours for your company to arrive, and after the driver started to work on my car he just left us stranded again to go to the other call. The dispatcher for your company told us we’d have to wait for another tow truck with no ETA or status. Rather than giving an unprofessional response to your poor service, you should look internally on how you can operate more efficiently! If you cannot complete a job you are hired for, then don’t take the job!
Dispatcher there tells customer they need to have the tow truck to release the vehicle once tow truck arrives at Boynton bch yard,
she lets the customer take her vehicle and cancels the service, very unprofessional.
This company took my car, in the process completely shredded the undercarriage and left the car bottomless.
They had no consideration for the issue they created when they decided to steal my car.
Be careful with these guys.. who knows what they might do to your car next.
