Stopped in on a day too windy to fish just to see what they had. Great selection of tackle and boat items that would usually be hard to find. Staff was super helpful with recommendations. I thought this level of service didn’t exist any more. Best of all the prices were very reasonable. I noticed several items that I had bought back home were less expensive in the store than what I had paid inland. I’ll be back.
I've been fishing up and down the fl keys for many years now and I can tell you this place is the shit! It's a nice warehouse style tackle shop like you see in other places in florida but not the keys. And the lower keys fisheries in the same lot has every possible frozen bait you would need for down here at GOOD PRICING FOR THE KEYS. They even have a great selection of Marine supply stuff that you wouldnt expect. Things like Fiberglass, lubes, anchors, and boat detailing supplies. On top of the incredible selection, the prices are not bad for 2025, there are definitely some cheaper little shops in other parts of the keys...but I still would say this is the best tackle shop in all of the keys hands down. ??

hadn't been in several years due to a move, but i went back today and found the selection and service to be just as great as i remember. best selection of tackle in the lower keys for anglers of all abilities and price points.
I want to give this 5 stars. The feel is so local, it ain’t funny. They have everything the novice or professional needs. The seafood and bait store across the parking lot is fantastic. Some real great people.
My ONLY negative feeling is I have the feeling I’m navigating the staff’s mood. They have been incredibly helpful, but it’s like I have to wait and see how they feel. I suppose anyone could have a bad day, especially when they are dealing with so many questions from non-locals.
However, I don’t think any one wants to walk on eggshells when they are trying to get the right advice, especially in the Keys, where people are pretty humble.
So, 5-stars. For staff, remember, people don’t mean to be a pain, they just respect your opinion.
Great inventory, prices, but mainly the service was excellent. They put us on the right tackle and even told us where to go on my navionics app and we had got em. Mangroves, yellowtails, grouper, and even some big mutton’s

A serious bait and tackle shop. This store has some seriously NICE gear! Rods & reels, tackle, bait, shoes, water booties, sandals, hats, etc., The staff was very friendly and helpful.
NOT open on Sundays.

First time in this place after 25 years in the keys.I have driven past it a million times but never went in. I always thought it was just for commercial fishing guys but I was so wrong.
This place has everything for everyone who wants to go fishing,except Bait,which you can get right across the parking lot.

This is my go to tackle center and a short drive from my house. They have about anything you need for a day of fishing. Prices are very comparable to Bass Pro Shops and the staff friendly and helpful.
If you're looking for gear, tackle, bait, or something for your boat, try here. They're friendly, responsive, and well stocked. Their prices are fair, you'll find other places charging you a tourist tax price.
Don’t make the same mistake I did when buying live shrimp here! Check them before you pay! 75 percent of the shrimp I ended up with were less than 1” long! And like a previous review, the water was so dirty you couldn’t see the shrimp in the bucket! Waste of time and money! Very disappointed, ruined a whole day of an expensive vacation. Won’t ever go back and won’t ever recommend.
The salesman that assisted us in picking out a rod and reel combo was a nice guy but lacked in knowledge of rods and reels. We originally were referred to them for live bait but they only had small live shrimp and the water they put the shrimp into our bucket with was smelly and dirty. You couldn't even see the shrimp in there and they were all dead when we arrived at our fishing spot 10 minutes down the road. We ended up throwing $20 worth of shrimp away .
I lost an anchor on the reef. I want to Ace hardware....$110 just for the anchor. Called West Marine.....$279 for 150' of rope. I stopped in to Cudjoe Sales and Walter walked me through the purchase. I got the anchor, 5' of chain, 150' of rope, two shackles for $125.
The prices were very good and the service was very helpful. I will go there first before any other place for supplies.
This spot is is the place to grab your gear. Walt helped a brother out. He was very knowledgeable and respectful. Not being very knowledgeable about fishing myself, Walt was kind enough to walk with me and grab me exactly what I needed. I have been to several bait shops during this trip and none were close to as helpful and had a great selection. And a big plus was the prices were reasonable. I needed an anchor ball, Walt grab me everything I needed. I believe I paid around $80 for everything I needed. Other bait shops did not have the quantity or selection of items and were double the price for a ball, ring and rope. This spot is the real deal. Thanks again Walt.
I didn’t just get this shirt because I liked it. This is the best service you will ever experience in a tackle shop—not just in the Keys—ANYWHERE! These guys—every one of ‘em—treat greenhorns and captains with the same respect and courtesy. They helped me—a rookie for sure—have successful trips each time I’ve fished the lower keys. They could give customer service lessons to any retailer. Buy your tackle and gear here. You will go back!
Hoyt was a wealth of knowledge and a very friendly guy. A lot of bait store employees act like info is a secret only locals should have. Seems the employees here just want to make sure you enjoy yourself. Pilsner recommend them more.
definitely fresh seafood store. we bought stone crab and jumbo shrimp cook in florida style mix. We got fresh mahi mahi and grilled it too for dinner and for sure we had better seafood than any restaurant could offer.
Glad to see these places rebuilding after hurricane Irma. We stopped by for some bait to catch our own fish. We decide to pick up some food for dinner based on Their selection and they were just bringing in some off the boat. It was a good choice as we were not as successful fishing from shore. I am sure this place will be 5 states once renovations are complete. Stop in and buy something and help them get 5 star ratings.

These guys are the greatest ! Literally saved my trip. My bilge went out while vacationing, and they not only had what I needed in stock, but went way out of the ordinary, and got their hands really dirty and installed it for me.
Without a doubt the best selection and service anywhere I've experienced in the lower Keys.
