The absolute worst place to deal with. 3 transmission and still it's wrong. This place needs to be looked at by the bbb. The absolute worst. I've been without a vehicle for 5 months dealing with these ppl. Insane.
I should have read the reviews prior to ever buying from here. If I could give this scam hole a no star review, I would. I drove 3 hours, purchased a used engine at the agreed price from a prompt email quote, phone call follow up. After arriving and making payment I waited over an hour to have it loaded. The engine appearance was poor, and looked very rough! However Jenfrey seemed trustworthy after we had a some good talk through a language barrier about business and “trust”. I mentioned the accessories, externals, and leaks looked bad. He said from what I could understand, you just switch it over to your own. Ok. I didn’t draw any conclusions from the appearance of the engine, drove 3 hours home, trusting it ran well which was most important to me. I spent countless hours, removing, and replacing with my personal good or new externals from my engine along with thoroughly cleaning the unbelievable thick grime off the engine, also replacing every external gasket, and seal, water pump, thermostat housing. There was white builders caulk on the valve covers from someone attempting to seal oil leaks, and the knock sensor wire was completely melted and also replaced (overheated at some point) the engine was then installed and started and when brought to normal operating temperature, it became very low on power and weak. also discovered an oil leak between the head and cylinder (cyl 6). Which was dripping, burning on the manifold. This was most concerning. After follow up contact and poor communication with emails, phone calls with “the warranty department” . They requested video of the issue, and explanation. I finally received a phone call regarding a warranty replacement. A day was chosen and arranged so I could remove the engine first . I had to also remove all of my personal, good or new externals off of this trash engine prior to bringing it back for a replacement. I drove 3 hours back to receive my replacement. After initial contact when I arrived waiting 20 minutes , then showing my receipt, receiving an updated one. I was prompted with multiple “20 minutes waits” by multiple employees. Everyone of them said “20 minutes” and then “20 more minutes” I waited patiently. I was eventually then directed to have the return trash engine removed from the back of my truck through the gate, and the replacement loaded.i noticed the replacement engine hanging from the forklift and I was then asked where the intake was? Then another worker started taking parts off the replacement engine. I had brought the parts originally purchased on the engine with me in a separate box and showed them ,since why the hell would I bolt on all the trash parts it came with since what they gave me on when the engine was trash anyways? This was time wasted on top of time wasted. Does my time not matter? Clearly it doesn’t. They then prompted what I assume was the warranty department employee outside . She explained to me they could not accept the engine being returned in the condition it was in and I would have to pay to cover the parts that weren’t assembled on it. I could not believe what I just heard? I drove 3 hours to return a trash engine I was sold after investing countless hours of traveling, labor, cleaning, installing, and replacing parts to make this engine worthy ? I don’t get upset often, however this really hit deep. It was just plain wrong! THIS IS BAD BUSINESS!!!!! I then closed my tailgate and proceeded to drive 3 hours home with the trash engine they originally sold me. They will respond to this, however, you have been warned. I don’t know how this business stays in business with these practices.This is by far the worst of the worst. I trust people, however they have lost mine. I am completely mind blown. Lesson learned, spend the extra money, buy a new or remanufactured engine, rebuild yours or buy somewhere with better reviews. My mistake is that I looked at the overall reviews. Do business elsewhere.
Terrible customer service, incorrect parts, staff is not knowledgeable and after shipping you an incorrect part, they say no refunds, so if you value your money and quality goods and service, steer clear of this place 0 stars.
I would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid this place at all costs. They sell broken products and then act like it’s not their problem. When you try to use the warranty, they only give you options that benefit them, not the customer. After reading the reviews, it’s obvious I’m not the only one they’ve done this to. Don’t be fooled by how “professional” it looks it’s all fake. If you’re reading this while you’re there, walk out IMMEDIATELY. Absolutely terrible. 0/10

They attempt to sell parts that are different from what was requested or needed, fail to deliver proper service, and then avoid communication when follow-up or a refund is requested. I purchased an engine from E&J on July 21, 2025, after installing the engine it was constantly in limp mode and had an internal issue causing this. i contacted the warranty department on Aug 19th, while i was in the hospital for medical issues and an inability to work. I never heard back from the warranty department after sending the requested evidence. I called to follow up and got no response. i called the next week after and they told me that the warranty was approved but since it was after 7 days since they approved it they would no longer honor their warranty. I feel cheated and lied to as i have no evidence that they even tried to contact me after sending in evidence of the issues. The warranty lady was very kind and understood that i was having medical issues and assured me that the warranty was on hold on the phone call Aug 19th. but never explained a 7 day period and that i had to wait for approval. Now they will not honor their warranty or honor their hold. Im severely disappointed and would suggest you take your business elsewhere as they will not be true to their word, supply inadiquet engines and parts. id also like to note that a had to replace all of the plastics and sensors on the engine before installing due to the carless approach to handling engines, and clients. do not purchase from E&J
I normally don’t write reviews, but this experience was so bad I feel like I have to warn others. I paid $2,500 for a transmission, and right away they took it back the very first day, saying they had 7 days to find me a replacement. I trusted them and waited, but that was the biggest mistake I could have made.
For an entire week, I called every single day. And every single day, I was told, “it will be delivered today.” Those promises were nothing but lies. After seven days of being strung along, I was left with nothing no transmission, no delivery, no refund. They kept my $2,500 and gave me nothing in return.
To make matters even worse, their customer service is absolutely horrible. Whenever I called for an update, they would either hang up on me, yell at me, or talk to me in a rude and dismissive way. Instead of trying to help, they treated me like I was the problem for simply asking about the product I paid for. That is no way to treat a paying customer.
What makes this situation even shadier is that this business is run under a fictitious company name with no real owner anywhere. That means there’s no one to hold accountable, no manager to talk to, and no way to resolve issues when they take your money and disappear. It’s set up to protect them while leaving customers like me with no options.
This isn’t just bad business it feels like outright fraud. They take your money, make false promises, and then hide behind a fake company name. Please, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Don’t waste your hard earned money like I did. Go to a legitimate, reputable business that stands behind their word, treats customers with respect, and actually delivers on what they sell.

Thank you to guys for such great service! The representative, Yarlin, was very helpful and kind, and the manager even came over to introduce herself. I originally came in looking for an alternator, which unfortunately they didn’t have in stock, but they went above and beyond to help me. I ended up ordering other parts from their Miami location — including my front bumper and fender for my Mercedes GLA — and now they’re getting them shipped to the Cocoa store so I don’t have to drive all the way to Miami. Excellent customer service all around. Thank you, guys!
We bought an engine for a Promaster. To our surprise, when we went to assemble the engine, several parts were broken and the engine would not make a complete rotation by turning the crankshaft. We contacted our salesperson and we did not have a solution for the case. So we had to contact the bank to cancel the card. We are still waiting for a solution for the case. We do not recommend this place.
i've gone back to this place twice. And Chris is an amazing human being. Very helpful very knowledgeable and really cares about his customers. I would highly recommend this place for used auto parts. Everything I've gotten from them has worked amazingly and you can tell they care about what they have their customers.

Truly a scam operation ! They will not find you a replacement but train you along their “7 day policy” just to say oh we have it and not eligible for a refund. And never send you anything.

This place is a dumpster fire disguised as a business. I ordered a transmission they swore up and down was “tested, clean, and ready to drop in.” What I got looked like it came straight out of a swamp — fluid leaking everywhere, broken bellhousing, and literal rust flakes falling out of it. I didn’t even have time to unstrap it before realizing it was junk.
Called them up thinking they’d at least try to fix it. Nope. They immediately hit me with, “You must’ve damaged it yourself.” Really? I guess it broke itself on the pallet. Then they try to offer store credit like I live around the corner — I’m states away. They knew that from the start, but clearly didn’t care.
Next, they tried to finesse me into sending money via “friends and family” through PayPal. Who does business like that? That’s scammer 101. When I told them no, suddenly they “found a better unit,” but it’s another $150 — because of course it is. Sounds like they’re just making it up as they go.
Every single step of the way, it’s some shady story, extra charge, or excuse. Zero professionalism. Zero integrity. They act like they’re doing you a favor by selling you broken garbage and dodging responsibility.
E & J Used Auto Parts is the kind of place that gives junkyards a bad name. Save yourself the money, the time, and the stress — don’t even think about doing business with these clowns.

I visited E&J Auto Parts and Used Cars on behalf of my brother Pablo, who was coming from out of town and needed the right part for his car. Since I was closer, I went to pick it up after he had been in contact with the team there.
From the moment I arrived, the associates were very welcoming and helpful. Christopher, in particular, went above and beyond to make the process smooth and efficient. He made sure we had the correct part, kept in touch with us throughout, and even asked his team to help load it into our vehicle, which they did quickly and with a great attitude.

I purchased an alternator on 11/27/24 for $128.00. On the day of purchasing, I asked the guy who assisted me what is the return policy and was told I had a week to refund the item. That same week, Friday 11/29/24, I returned as the piece did not fit my car. I was attended by Aileen ("Manager") . She advised I cannot get a refund, even though I was told the opposite on the day of purchasing. She advised the office only gives store credit, which I accepted because I need some items for my other car.
On 12/05/24, My husband went back to the office to use the store credit I was promised. but Aileen advised the store credit is only for Engine and Transmissions. I was never told the store credit was only for Engine and Transmission parts. Aileen's response to this was "it is self explanatory." The store credit being solely for Engines and transmissions, is not self explanatory, as I do not work for this office, nor would assume a "Used Parts" office would only be for engines and transmissions. Aileen was very rude and unprofessional, and that did not sit well with me. I do not recommend going here. They say one thing one day and another thing another day. Do not go here if you do not want to get scammed. They help you & show face just to take your money.
And if you do plan on still going here, make sure you get everything in writing, because they lie.

I went to this garbage store. I bought a transmission from them and they gave it to me. The mechanical one went and he told me this is not the same type I wanted. I went and returned to them and they told me that they were wrong. They gave me the correct type. Very bad. This is not worth giving him 0 revo. If there is less, I will give it to them. Do not buy anything from them. They are scammers.
I came all the way from palm beach county and Jorge (George) help out with a great deal on the transmission for my Honda civic and service was efficient, clean and fast. It was a pleasure doing business!
I got reffered from a friend to go to this yard for best used/good parts and engines. The employees and boss always treated me well and have given me the best deals hands down. I rather buy used/good than new I'm saving $$$ thanks E&J for always giving me best customer service.
