Saturday Feb 7, 2026 Formal complaint has been sent to Property Management for the various occurrences tied to Nu Way’s treatment of residents / guests including intimidation with firearm when asked about a vehicle incident. Group seems to be targeting the guests of three specific townhouses. Won’t pick up calls or puts you on an overextended hold when they do answer.
This is not the Towing Company listed for residents.
Even with proper signage in place: - If guest passes are not or cannot be issued, rules are to be time-based and there are exceptions.Guests may park while actively visiting a resident. If they see a bday gathering, they should ask not tow. - Towing is a last resort, not first action. A warning sticker should be issued!!! - Towing during normal visiting hours or before midnight without warning is a form of theft. - This company's employees should never display firearms, threaten residents, or engage in confrontational behavior! PLUS Don't disrespect our residents of over 20 years at Parkway! Good people! - A towing phone number is to be answered. Called them back to back, and they purposely cancelled the calls.
Pictures attached proof of negligence: - Nu Way was NOT the listed towing company for visitors at Parkway Grove - towed a relative's vehicle at a dinner of unit 105 before midnight. Prior week towed vehicle in Guests visiting unit 102. Week prior showed residents of 101 and 102 a firearm as proof of intimidation. - Owner of 105 and board member attempted 20 calls and they answered 1 & hung up, answered a 2nd call and left me on the line. Call recordings we're captured to stop this targeting of good people's money.
UPDATE MONDAY Feb 9, 2026 : towing company showed up before 1:30pm ET to change signage on the property (still not sufficient to remove cars from Guest spots & before midnight). WhatsApp conversation from owners Rafael and Yanet to employees showed them reprimanding their workers for the poor signage resulting in them releasing my family’s vehicle for free on Saturday Feb 7, 2026.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced,the person answering the phone just hangs up on you without answering any questions or concerns HORRENDOUS customer service extremely rude.
Usually getting your car towed is a nightmare, but thank God it was a Nu way towing! Javier was so amazing and very kind he was able to help us get our back in a breeze. Thank you
This towing company is so negligent in fact….. a joke. I got my car towed off the street and I went in the next morning payed the $300. I was not rude I didn’t cause any problems, I just signed the forms and paid the money and left. I get escorted to the yard to get my car. I had to hop in through the passenger side because they park the cars so close to eachother you can’t enter from the drivers side. I get into the car and they TIED THE SEATBELT TO THE STEERING WHEEL SO TIGHT IT STRIPPED THE LEATHER OFF MY STEERING WHEEL. When I addressed it to the man outside, he shrugs his shoulders and smirks, which I didn’t appreciate. If you tow my car it should be returned in the same condition you took it. Don’t damage people property they worked hard for. Still have not received a call from the manager addressing his negligent staff….
Javier was so kind during this very stressful ordeal. My experience with impounds and towing are almost always negative. Not the case here. They were very accommodating, receptive and understanding. I appreciate the care they took with us and the speed in which they worked. Appreciate it!
Thank Nu Way Towing for coming to my rescue! It was 6:30AM, I was in Wynwood & about to head home. But I accidentally locked myself out my car, w/the keys in the ignition. I called Nu Wave to pleeez come unlock my car. Within 12 minutes from my call, Jose arrived to help me & within a few quick minutes I was in my car & on my way home. THANK U JOSE THANK U NU WAY
On Friday, a tow was needed after my car broke down on Wynwood. Contacting Nu Way resulted in a friendly and efficient dispatcher. The driver, Arnold, arrived quickly and handled the vehicle with care. The driver was professional and courteous throughout the process. Pricing was transparent and fair. Nu Way is highly recommended for reliable and professional towing services.
Javier was very nice and helpful explained why my car was towed and it was my fault. They have a very good establishment and know what there doing and talking about.

My mom car was towed from her complex.. with valid tag, decal everything that was required from complex. THIS towing company showed my mother’s car in there compound stating that place a 48 hrs notice to comply with tires flat on premises!!!!! This is the second time taking advantage of the elderly which wasn’t driving at the time due to vision surgery….unbelievable
They towed my Dad car one time, and I help my dad pay for the fee by sending them a zelle payment. Month later went to get my nails done and I accidentally sent the money to the towing company as the name were similar, honest mistake. Called nu way, spoke to a worker there, he was so unprofessional, I cant beleive people like that gets jobs. He flat out told me it was my mistake, he's not returning the money. Did not ask me for any details. Keeping something thats not yours its stealing. They have the worst customer service.
They are the worst people. Towing a car a little after midnight in New Year’s Eve to a woman that was with her daughter alone. Insensitive. Incredible cruel. On top of that they told me that I have to wait until next day because they decided to close. By the way, the sign of the towing in the plaza is not visible and it is twisted. For starters I know the industry and the job if they get a call they gotta do what they gotta do, one I got towed in Courtyard Hialeah for back in parking when there was not a single sign any where in the complex. The guy left as I was telling him it’s my car just so he can get the 145 drop fee instead of the 70. I signed the paper work told the guy there’s no signs and he started getting an attitude and defensive and I told him he’s taking advantage of all the old people in Hialeah and that he wouldn’t dare do this in any other city, he then continued to “flex” that he don’t care he’s been shot multiple times and this and that. He then dropped my car and sped out before an inspection. Then as I leave the whole bottom splash guard is completely torn off. So I call the company and let them know and was told I would get a call back but never did. Today I called the company and the lady says she checked the tow trucks camera and tells me that I check the whole car with a flashlight…….. the tow was when the sun was still up so idk what made her make that story up. And continued to tell me that I should’ve checked the car before he dropped it. But what was messed up was still being held up by the truck so I couldn’t have seen till he dropped it anyway. Long story short these people are scam artist and are not doing honest business or work. They think that they can get away with this because nobody will take them to court but soon that will change. All my phone calls were recorded I was polite and they were non stop being defensive and not helpful of any kind. See you guys in court ;)
Such a disgusting encounter with a young hotheaded driver with unauthorized uniform and out of the zone without proper parking enforcement charging outrageous scamming pricing to release vehicles with careless hooking skills almost pulling off the bumper from my vehicle and dropping the car carelessly with such a filthy attitude. Unfortunately I work in the Plaza that has no parking even after hours due to all the business including a busy bar.
Javier provided excellent service and made the process of seeing our car very smooth. Most times, these towing places make the process difficult and frustrating for the customer but I left a happy customer thanks to Javier. Thank you!
There is a way to treat people when you are on the working end. It is your job and everyone knows it, but there is such a thing as customer service. People are bound to be frustrated because THEIR VEHICLE is being TAKEN away with their belongings. Instead of being compassionate and understanding that humans will get scared and react in the moment they just treat you so horrible and whisper under their breathes to cover their behinds just enough for the camera to hear but conveniently not the people effected. Even the cops when they were called agreed with us and told us tow truck companies are just another form of saying thieving scammers. If anyone ever gets towed please remember it is your RIGHT if you make contact with the driver that they CLEARLY state a dropdown fee not just mutter under their breathes “I’ll drop it but you have to pay” not even offering a clear price or any context or even trying to communicate it effectively.
Is crazy the reviews on here but calling them scum of the earth. And a pack of thieving rats is putting it lightly went to tell them hey I was in. A accident so the other person that crashed into me through. Her insurance (progressive) contacts me saying. Stuff. Was missing from their suv I went to notify these scumbags and they did not admit to anything with the paperwork included they didn't. Even know that both vehicles where. Involved in. A crash. A proper useless business Karma will get them one day it always does. They were saying that me and the other person. The normal stereotype dealing with tow companies tends to be negative! In our case the experience was excellent! Nu Way Towing has a staff that takes the extra effort to make a horrible situation bearable. Miguel, Javier, Janet and the rest of the staff were AMAZING! We WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS A TOW...Remember this is a hard business that deals with unfortunate situations...Always treat people the way you want to be treated and it will all work out! Everyone likes to talk bad about towing companies. And no one considers that everyone has a job to do, therefore I am leaving this review for people like myself. Saw myself stranded in the late at night with my two babies in the car and they are the only company that came out, treated me with respect and gave me an affordable rate. Shot out to this company for having consideration with your rates, kindness to women and respect for my property. Stay blessed.
Don't EVER call or use this establishment. The guy towing the car is a horrible and despicable person, we were inside getting important papers and ten minutes later they tried towing our car while we were inside the car and said he would let us go ONLY if we gave him money. My mother was just in the hospital the other day and was still very sick and had trouble breathing during this experience and the person just did not care or show any compassion. Just horrible and sick people.

This company is a total SCAM! They totaled my friend's car and we were looking about the complex for a sign of the company that took it, but NOTHING! I ended up calling a few numbers, but none of them worked. Then I called the non-emergency number and they were going to make a report. Then, my friend sees a tow truck coming and tries to stop it, but they keep going to try to tow MY CAR w/ me standing behind the car. I told them to drop it since I was LITERALLY ABOUT TO LEAVE, but they wouldn't and had me pay $145 which is a TOTAL SCAM! This company and the people that work here don't care and should be ashamed of themselves for STEALING PEOPLE'S MONEY!
I used them back in October for a tow post car accident. That driver was amazing. So kind, so helpful, so professional. For my most recent call (helping a friend out), I recommend this company. The dispatcher was cool. The driver who came, however, was a bit disengaged. Maybe because of the hour, maybe because of the condition of my friend’s car. By the time we were ready to move the car, the driver was more engaged and helpful. I would recommend them.
Poor service n communication. Tried to get a car that belonged to a building with visible decal showing it belonged to building. It was actually trying to get a car behind the car but instead put a warning sticker on it. Next time do your job better or don’t do it at all when you are in the wrong. Snooze u lose. Do better. These poor reviews back to back clearly speak volumes of the way these people run their “company”. No idea how they stay in business. Zero stars if I could .
We had our car towed because someone else wanted the spot. They charged us 181 to come around the block because it had just happened. I saw online that some people had their cars taken to the shop and charged less. $145 compared to 181 to make a uturn is ridiculous. I’m not upset about getting towed because we were wrongly parked but to charge $181 and then for the man to just drop our car off in the middle of the plaza was uncalled for. Buddy on the phone was rude too. A job is a job but respect is still respect. You don’t know peoples financial situations. This is genuinely overpriced.
This place is abusive and quite unprofessional. They towed my car from a 24-hour visitor zone in less than 3 hours. They towed the car at 1:45 a.m. I arrived at the place to recover the vehicle at 2:15 a.m. only 25 minutes later and they charged me 145 dollars, apart from this they treated me badly they yelled at me on the phone and hung up on me, terrible attention and my unpleasant manager, learn and express himself with customers, rude
