My daughter was involved in a car accident the car was picked up by there towing company the guy was really nice sent us a message that he was the person that had picked up the car and it was at a yard on Saturday morning he called me and said we had 2 options bring it to Miramar or our place of choice or take it to pro automotive so this girl yesenia contacts me the sweetest girl at first she gives you her personal number you agree to bring it to there she states she lives literally 5 min what ever you need shes there once she catches you and you sign and they have your car her and her supervisor sarah are rude don’t answer your calls put you on hold i asked sarah if she could email me a release for my insurance to take the totaled car and she said yes they do have exceptions to call after 2 she was going to consult with her supervisor i was told she.was I called her at 2:15 would go to voicemail i get the more days your vehicle is on a public steet
Because cars are not even in a gated area they make money but yesenia has 2 personalities her voice and attitude changed i can show you the messages were she would not even reply please be careful and i only asked this was because i had to pickup my daughter from school With blood sugars over 500 and from her school to the shop it was 1:30 min i truly had an emergency i can prove it unfortunately thats how people conduct business Ohhh yesenia still waiting for the claim number yiu were going to call and give me because the adjuster you had go over never did either its the 21 still waiting even though its gone not sure how there work is ohh and asked her for a quote on a versa still waiting doesnt look like the cleanest place or modern especially if u have a luxury car

Like other folks noted, my car was towed here by Downtown Towing. Yesenia/the shop ignored daily calls/emails/messages from myself and the insurance company, racking up storage fees for nearly two months. Only after I threatened to file complaints with every government agency did they start engaging, and they rendered the car totaled anyways. Truly one of the worst experiences.
Came in after hours and met Yesenia at the door. They took care of me like family. I didn’t worry as I have in the past. My car was totaled and I received a short class in what to expect from the insurance company. They made sure that I was prepared for anything and to get the most. I highly recommend Pro Automotive Ctr. For service, for care and for honest service

Total crooks. They wait near flooded streets for a car to get stuck, tell you that they were just driving by and can tow your car to a repair shop. Once you get to the repair shop and realize that the place is sketchy and you don’t want to leave your car there, they charge you an arm and a leg to release it.
This review was very much earned. I was in the automotive industry for 8 years as a mechanic and service advisor. I was quick to recognize this place probably gets most of their business from the local tow truck guy. I've worked in dealerships, independent shops, and corporate chains. This place wouldn't last for more than 2 years if they had to rely on word or mouth or walk ins for business.
My vehicle arrived there on a Wednesday. I don't hear anything so I call a few times over the next couple days for an estimate. End of Friday comes along, still nothing. Monday I spoke to Andres in the morning and he confirmed I would get an estimate early afternoon. 3pm comes and I haven't heard from him so I uber up there and he apologizes about it taking so long. He said if I can wait around for a few minutes, he can get me an estimate while I was there. He goes to the back, 530pm I still haven't seen him and this girl up front Yesenia tells me they're closing. He finally comes back up and apologizes, said they would get it to me the following day. They texted me the estimate 2 days later end of day.
After I get my estimate, Andres confirmed the repairs would take about 2 weeks. A couple weeks go by and they said it would be another week due to delay in parts. Then they said they needed another week. Now let me add here that I am the one calling them to get a status update and it wasn't easy to get them to answer the phone. If they do answer they will not answer again. You have to show up in person.
So, after I was promised 2 weeks, my vehicle was finally complete after 5 weeks and I did not get one phone call them the entire time for any updates. I think they do this because they do try to trap people with insane storage fees. I confirmed this because when I went to get something in my truck one day (before they began repairs), Yesenia walked with me outside to where it was parked instead of handing me my key. Not sure how they get away with this considering they park customer cars on the street. It's a dirty tactic.
When I go pick up, they told me they don't accept debit or credit cards because customers have reported transactions as fraud. They require payment in cash or cashier’s check.
Things I noticed after I picked up the truck. There was a stud and lug nut missing on my right rear weel, even though the repairs were in the front. My Daytime running lights were wired wrong. My battery wasn't secured. I had smoke coming through my vents. I now have my ABS malfunction light on. Even after all this coming up I refuse to go back to this place. Was just a bad experience. So, I've been taking care of it myself even after spending almost $11k cash with them.
Last thing was I noticed my son's skateboard was missing from the back seat. They had my vehicle for 5 weeks so this slipped my mind when I picked up. I called the shop, Yesenia tells me I need to ask the owner. I call him and he assures me he will check and get back to me. Never heard back from him. So, I go back up there to ask about the skateboard. Andres checks the back, while he is back there Yesenia called someone to inform them in Spanish "the gringo is here looking for his skateboard". She had no idea I'm fluent in Spanish. Didn’t seem too bright. Andres came back up front, he apologized and said maybe someone stole it while it was parked outside. It was only $100 so I let it go. But that was tip of the iceberg
Sometimes you make friends but don't expect that here. They're here for a good time, not a long time.
This shop has been great, so friendly and easy to work with. I’ve had horrible experiences with other shops, but here, they really do take care of their people and work fast.
BEWARE! The negative reviews are 100% accurate. This place has an F rating with the BBB for a good reason. I made the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt after speaking with the “manager” Yesenia on the day of my husbands accident 3/31/25. She came off as super helpful and even gave me her personal number, promising to “handle everything.” Thats when our nigthmare began.
From day one, I’ve had to do all the work, submitting paperwork, dealing with insurance, and chasing down updates. Phone calls weren't returned nor text messages answered. If answered, they made no sense as she didn't bother to check her spelling before sending. If you need a rental or an extension, forget it! I lost countless hours of work trying to do their job.
Turns out Yesenia isn’t even the manager or assistant manager. Her role is still a mystery to me. She has a bad habit of giving false information, dodging responsibility, and putting customers on endless holds. Attitude problem indeed! I could hear her yelling at others on the other side. The level of unprofessionalism is unbelievable.
My car was at their shop for 3 months exactly. Timelines were always extended for 2 weeks at a time for an estimated time of completion, which happened at least 5 times. Two supplements were requested from the insurance company totalling over $26,000 including the original quote, which they cashed immediately.
They were so slow in providing accurate information to the insurance company. If they would've done their job correctly from the beginning, we wouldn't have wasted our time waiting and wondering when will we get our car back, as the insurance company would have deemed it totalled from the start.
Instead we were told they have been working on the car and the damage was extensive for this reason the length of time taken and the amount of supplements requested.
My husband went to pick up the license plate and the car looked exactly the same except the missing bumper. INCREDIBLE!!!!
I have emails, call logs, text messages and recordings to prove everything. Don’t let them fool you with their eagerness to help, this place is a scam.
My car was towed here after an accident and i had my insurance pick it up to inspect it and assess the damages. When i signed the release form no one informed me to take my plate and they removed the plate at time of the insurance picking it up and kept the plate. When i returned to pick up my plate, they couldnt find it.. which is odd bc how do you lose a plate? They said they did not have it in the office and it was in a tow truck. Makes no sense as the car was only being stored at the time and they removed the plate on their property so why is it in a truck? Anyhow, Yesenia was very rude and had no sense of urgency on this matter. Gave me attitude and even hung up on me when i called. Feels like a scam and probably used my plate while it was "lost" driving around miami. 0/10 Do not recommend. Do not leave your car here.
SCAMMERS!! DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
They will illegally take your car from downtown towing and then store it at their business. They will FORGE your signature and then won’t release your car unless you pay them astronomically high storage fees of $ 295 PER DAY not agreed beforehand. Storage days don’t add up and when I signed the release they wouldn’t provide any information as of the total amount or daily rate.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They WILL scam you.
On June 9th 2025 this company or their representative tow truck driver, towed my vehicle to 2185 SW 30th Ave, when the police/trooper report had Downtown Towing 2811 SW 70th Ave as the designated impound. After I signed the release the morning after, My insurance company has been trying to recoup my vehicle for a week after 3 attempts to tow out of there. Now it seems there is bill for thousands of dollars and counting. I reported it to FHP. Hopefully, something will be done by tomorrow's scheduled attempt at at pickup. Will report as it develope. Do not turn your back on this play.

I had a great experience with ProAutomotive Center. Their customer service was excellent—super friendly and helpful from the moment I walked in. They diagnosed and fixed my car really fast, and the price was very reasonable. It’s hard to find a shop that’s both efficient and honest, but they delivered on both. Biggest scam in Miami. They locked my truck in an impound lot and held it for ransom. I had to pay $6,660.40 in cash because they would not accept the certified check for this scam. They did not do any work of any kind on my truck. They just held it for ransom. They stole more than $1400 worth of my tools out of my truck. Downtown towing wrecker is part of this scam.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been hands down the WORST experience I've ever had with any business. Pro Automotive Repair is a scammy, unprofessional, and toxic place that will try to drain every dollar out of you while treating you with complete disrespect.
After my car was towed here post-accident (by a company the police used), DOWNTOWN TOWING, they're supposed to take the car to THEIR tow yard but instead took it to this shop to cut a deal with them. After that things went downhill FAST. They miscalculated my total cost not once, not twice, but THREE times. They increased the daily storage fee without warning from $225 to $295 – that’s a $70/day jump – and then tried to charge me for 10 days of storage when my car was only there for FIVE.
The woman at the front desk was completely out of line. She yelled at me, waved her hands in my face, and even had the nerve to call me “babygirl” as if I’m not a full-grown adult. When I called her out on all the mistakes, she blamed them on being pregnant and “having a long day.” Sorry, but a $3,200 overcharge is not just a mistake you brush off. That’s fraud.
To make matters worse, she lied about being the manager, then claimed the manager was “out of office” – only for us to later find out the manager was IN the office the whole time and eventually gave us a “deal” to pay $2,500. Still absurd.
BTW!!! ->The Woman working at the front desk who is the “Office Manager” will write quotes on sticky notes on your files and when you notice they’re off she throws them away acting as if it never existed in the first place. I have photo proof of my document with a sticky note on it with the absurd price she gave me at first, when I told her that her math was wrong she threw away the sticky note and tried to act as if it could have been for any document and that she has a million of them everywhere. She is a gaslighting and manipulative woman. Watch out! Advocate for yourself!
They also claimed the towing fee was free – it’s literally labeled as FREE – but then I got slapped with a $395 towing charge. Absolutely shameless. It wasn't until I called the cops, because I knew they were scamming me, that they waved the fee and matched the price THEY had listed in the first place.
This shop never contacted my insurance like they were supposed to. They left my car sitting there racking up fees and never reached out until I did. It's clear they profit off of people being uninformed or stuck in difficult situations. I’m now getting the police involved again because this is beyond unethical – it’s criminal.
SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. Avoid this place at all costs. Pro Automotive Repair is not just unprofessional – they are a straight-up SCAM.

Total scammers, just trying to hold your car for as long as possible to charge you “storage fees” of $225 a day, which is illegal in the state of Florida. They took the car from a Turo renter, who had my (owner’s) contacts, they lied to me that there was a third party involved and they are filing the claim with them, for me to get to know from my insurance agent that they filed with my personal insurance. THEY WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO HOLD MY CAR FOR EVEN ONE DAY. THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CALL THE AS SOON AS THEY GOT THE CAR AND FIGURE OUT THE INSURANCE SITUATION WITH ME THE OWNER. They didn’t do any of it. The renter has my phone number, they didn’t even bother to ask. I called them several times and they were telling they’re just waiting for the 3rd party insurance reply. For 2 weeks. Not giving me access to the car. I came twice to the locked door. Their claim is just to hold your car and not repair it for as long as possible. They are claiming that they lowered the storage fee, THEY WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO HOLD THE CAR AT ALL.
THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS, THEY CHARGE YOU UNNECESSARY FEES THEY WONT RELEASE YOUR VEHICLE UNTIL YOU PAY THEIR INSANE “FEES” AND THEY STORE YOUR CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE STREETS
