Prestige Auto Towing JunkYard in Miami (FL)

Put my car by the building for 25 minutes on a emergency signal and this guy took my car asking for 145 dollars, as I came to him asking to get my car back. Making business on students is such a bad idea

Apparently, this towing company is unjustly taking cars from parking lots. They towed my mom's car from her own parking space. In her nerves, she forgot to report them to the police that same day. But now all social media, online articles, blogs, and all the backlinks pointing to their website will talk about all the bad things they are doing. So, in summary, before people find the good things about them on Google which I don't think they have any, they will first see all the bad things they have done.

Tonight Mr. Prestige came to the parking lot of the community which I live and stated that my handicap placard was not applicable (LIES), Once the handicapped looking driver of the tow truck saw my neighbors coming to let me know is when he hooked up my car! Let me let you guys know something if you are going to run a reputable business then you need to hire reputable workers because what I SAW is not it. And had the nerves to be talking CRAP with my CAR which I'm the OWNER of. It is very SAD that your unprofessional workers tried to seek ways to take money from individuals and their families (scam artist) and lying that they are giving us a DEAL to drop our vehicles for $72.50 (SWAP SHOP DISCOUNT). This needs to reported to the better business bureau. Everyone here whom has had to take a lost due to unprofessionalism and waking up thinking you are going to wake up for work only to find your vehicle missing due to PETTINESS and hungry for money companies who are ripping people off.

I had a horrible and unacceptable experience at Prestige Auto Towing. My car was towed for an expired tag from Doral view less than a week prior to my lease ending. After taking an Uber there, I requested to check my car for any missing items or damage so I could make sure everything was okay before making a payment. I was refused to be taken to their lot several times. The man at the desk told me they were not responsible for anything and then stated I could myself go to the parking lot several minutes away if I wanted to see my car. He was also adamant about not not giving me even a printout of the car towing so I could at least see pictures of the car. He was defiant, making illogical arguments and statements such as “why should I give you a printout, so you can make a case?”. I am not sure if he was afraid that I would make a case against them which is a bit suspicious if they hadn’t done anything unlawful. I simply wanted to make sure my car was okay. I also made a very reasonable request to have a printout/breakdown of the towing costs so I knew what the charges were and this was also met with much opposition. I was not given a printout until after I made the payment. His genius argument was “if you go to Publix you’re not gonna get a receipt until after you pay”. Additionally, when I requested to speak to the manager for more information , he said that he’s gone for lunch and may not return the entire day “because he’s the manager”. This silly statement was obviously made in an effort to not have me speak to him, but I did not make an argument about it. In addition to not making any concessions to my $450 payment despite being in an extremely rough situation, this rude and entitled behavior was very disheartening. I explained to them I was sick and in bed with COVID and wasn’t able to check my car and received no information regarding the towing either from Prestige or the leasing office so if they could at-least waive the $250 administrative fee for 24 hours+, but was not surprisingly, denied. According to him this fee was for the postage of a letter sent regarding the towing but I still have not received this letter although I even checked my mail after returning from Prestige towing. I also explained I am student and don’t have the funds at the moment but not only were they not helpful but extremely rude and unprofessional, lacking basic decency. I believe they could deal with car owners in a more professional and less entitled manner r since they are focusing on extracting the maximum payment from them without regard to any extenuating circumstances . You are at-least responsible for giving reasonable information that is requested , which is the bare minimum you can do after charging such unnecessary and predatory fees to make maximum profit at the expense of the car owner. Losing close to 500 dollars unexpectedly for mainly this company’s profit is hard enough without dealing with such imbecile treatment from the Im company’s employee. I would avoid this company at all costs even if it’s your last resort because their top priority is leeching the maximum amount from people.

This towing company really knows how to lie to their clients to get more money. I asked them over the phone how much will i have to pay the agent said 145 for towing and 27.60 per day. When i reached to get my car they added 250 dollars Lien fee. Complete rip off any company that uses this Prestige Auto towing i would stop doing business with them as well

All bad with the company. The person who pick up the phone Always with bad actitud and don’t give real solutions. I asked yesterday to the time they close. They told me 6pm I came 5:02pm it was close and they told me that schedule is old and they close 5 to 7 What’s wrong with you?? Give real information. U just do that to can charge more.

Excellent service. Less than one hour from call to completion of tow. Price gives bonus stars.

One of their male tow truck drivers stopped in the middle of the garage and got out of his vehicle to be violent towards me, because I honked my horn and asked him to move over, so i could pass. He got out of his truck in a confrontational way and left the door open on purpose (as seen in pics), so I could not pass, and then proceeded to insult me. I took pictures of the man and filed a police report. NO MAN should ever approach a woman’s vehicle in a threatening manner. Do not pay or use these delinquents who pretend to be men.

Scammers. Don’t waste your time booking their service. They make all of their money preying on people anyway. We all pass along one day and the people who work here will be in a place where it’s burning 24/7 one day. I can smile knowing that

Towed my car twice before Christmas in my apartment complex and damaged my vehicle. Went upstairs to drop off Christmas gifts and parked in a no parking zone just to drop them off so I wouldn’t have to walk across my entire building with them. That’s on me even though it was 10pm, I was parked in front of a dumpster, and I wasn’t bothering anyone. Came back downstairs and the guy still wasn’t done fully loading my car. I asked him to lower it and he wouldn’t unless I paid him $80. Two days later I’m going to work in the morning and my car gone from my only assigned parking spot. Mind you I’m the owner of a two bedroom apartment with only one assigned spot(I have been living in this building for three years, my car has always been there and it stands out so it’s not hard to miss.) I called the police and reported my car stolen only to find out this company had towed my car again. Now there’s a huge nail in my tire from them dragging it around and I had to miss two days of work(not how I planned on spending the holidays.) Other neighbors noticed my car had been towed from my spot and mentioned it to me. There is a serious issue with the parking in my building, parking spots that are barely big enough for motorcycles and there aren’t enough for everyone that lives here. I highly recommend staying away from Prestige Auto Towing and their shady business as well as any property associated with the Florida Advanced Properties HOA. Happy holidays to them and hopefully they don’t wake up with their cars missing from their driveways, pay $200 to get them back only to receive them damaged.

Ricardo helped me greatly on Friday.. He safely delivered my Mercedes from Kendall to Plantation! He did a great job with taking his time and making sure my car didn’t receive damages. Also jump started my vehicle as well as airing up my tire.. The guy went above and beyond! Also great personality and caring guy. Thanks again Ricardo!

Richard was amazing. He responded very quickly, called to update me on his ETA, and put me at ease the minute he arrived. He tried to troubleshoot and offer a few options of what could have caused the issue, and safely towed my car to the auto repair shop about 40 minutes away. I am so grateful that Richard responded and helped make a stressful situation with my car a little easier. Thank you Richard!!

Although no one likes getting their car towed, the overall experience with the employee named Richard (the Venezuelan) was impressive. His thoroughness and excellent customer service was something to be noted. The process to pay and drop vehicle before being taken was smooth and easy.

Amazing customer service! I first spoke with Cesar and he was able to provide a quote instantly, answered my questions patiently. The driver, Richard, was friendly and provided great service. Provided greater conversation during the drive until we reached my dealership. Should I ever need help again, I’ll definitely be calling again and asking for Richard by name!

Worst service humanly possible. Called me & said they were arriving in 20 mins showed up 1.5hrs later then proceeded to load my truck I walked off for 5 mins came back to the tow truck gone and my truck in a completely different spot from where they originally picked it up. I called to see what happened and the disgustingly rude lady on the phone began screaming and cursing me out. Highly suggest going else where. I contacted Milo Towing and they came quick and handled the job professionally and were easy to deal with

Nobody wants to get their car towed for whatever reason, but I really appreciate the professionalism & helpfulness given to me by the staff. Damage my lawn and att box while taking cars from my property even knowing is it illegal taking cars after the new desantis law only hope we have maybe lawyer could get something back to fix my damages

This rating is for Richard, because although the company I felt did not handle the situation in a good manner. Richard was the only part of the experience that was good and ultimately allowed for me to let things go. 10/10 if I could. God bless you Richard

Richard helped me out and was professional and insanely helpful!! If you guys need to use their service, talk to Richard especially if there’s any complications. Had issues w my mom being in the hospital and having to pick up her car for her, the management and Richard was very accommodating to my situation and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome! I paid 72.50 to release my vehicle but i was forced to make another zelle payment from another account since the first payment went through a 3 day hold and they couldnt release it unless the zelle payment went through. They never returned the other 72.50 that i over paid and they kept it like crooksafter multiple attmeots to get them to return the the amount overpaid. If they need the money that badly they can have it. Setting up a small claims case isnt even worth my time *****Beware*****

Worst towing service. It’s like a mafia tbh.They Towed my car for no reason and damaged it. Even though I did not pay them, I have been calling them since the past 4 days to give me my receipt as I already filed a claim and have gotten no reply. I know for a fact that they will not fix it and they keep avoiding this matter and not letting me speak to their owner or manager. If I could give lesser stars I would. Will be taking further steps very soon.

Shoutout to Richard for being a legend! My car was stranded on the fifth floor of a parking garage, and he was able to navigate through a REALLY tight space like a pro. He was super friendly, extremely professional, and made the whole thing super stress-free. If you ever need anyone for a tow, go for Richard, he's the real deal 🚗👍 Really saved the day.

Giving my thanks and appreciation to Richard Marti. My car got towed after I had thought my battery had died and I was not able to move it from the parking lot in time. I thought I was going to have to pay a tow truck to take it out the impound, but Richard went through the trouble of not only finding out my car starter was the issue, but also helping me get my car started so I could save money to drive it home myself. Amazing customer service 👍🏽

Richard was amazing! He came to my apartment and helped me with my battery and towing service. He cared about my time and money. He took the time to look at my battery and other parts of my car to be sure everything was working properly. He took care of my car and really cares about his customers. Awful experience. My car was towed for an inconsiderable excuse, my daughter was driving it and when she came back from meeting her friends the car was gone The nightmare began for a single mom trying to get to work the next day to make ends meet in this economy to then give away $200 just because my daughter put the wrong license plate when she pay the parking. What happened with giving tickets, at least I could have gone to work Is not all about making money

Usually, working with a towing service always feels like a terrible experience but today was different for once. I worked with Richard and and I’ve never had such a positive process while being in the unfavorable position to have to tow my car to the dealership. Richard was at my location within 13 minutes of me calling Prestige Towing and he explained + accommodated to everything I needed and didn’t throw any surprises at me. My car was in a 7” Clearance Garage and every other towing service in the area was charging me an insane amount of money for 5.2 miles worth of towing just because they had to bring seemingly special vehicles to get the tow done in the garage. Richard came prepared, didn’t upcharge me, and had my vehicle already at the dealership within 60 minutes of my first call. It was truly the simplest most pleasant towing experience I’ve ever had.
