All the negative reviews here are true and accurate. I’m not even sure why this towing company is still in business. I have Allstate motor club and this is the company I was referred to. As others mentioned, you call and the voicemail is full. Even the Allstate representative couldn’t get through to this company. 3 hours later, waiting in the rain and still no tow. Finally canceled and had to call a tow through AAA instead. Allstate needs to remove this company from their roster. Luckily, I was parked someplace safe. This business needs to be reported and shut down.

Worst car towing service in Florida ! I have Allstate and ordered a tow at 12:57pm three hours and waiting now still no tow truck. Attempted to contact the Alamo multiple times and they keep saying he is 15 mins away but never arrives . I'm over it these people aren't worth the hassle. The woman was unprofessional and terminated the call when I complained about the time frame. Stay far from this company, I called my insurance provider to complain. The dealership has been waiting for my vehicle to arrive for hours ! The reviews are totally accurate stay away from Alamo's towing .

My insurance company hired Alamo towing company to tow my vehicle. When they picked up my vehicle they damaged it. The driver was not paying attention busy talking on the phone while trying to tow the car at the same time. The driver clearly saw the damage and crack he had made to my vehicle. They said they will order the part and it should be in within a couple of days, when you call the office its a back and forth situation. No ones knows anything, there is no manager, there is no hire up to speak to in regards to your vehicle. The person who answers the phone at the office is clueless, and flat out unprofessional. When you ask to speak to a higher up She says she's going to tell the "owner" because they recently "fired" the manager. I have filed a lawsuit against them and won my judgement and its been about 6 months now and still no form of payment from them. Now I call and call and call with no answer. Truly unprofessional and not reliable would not recommend for anyone to use their service.

This is the worst service I've ever had. He was rude on original call to confirm towing. He didn't ask questions about where my car was or What kind of truck to bring. He arrived much later than he said he would. When he showed up he was very rude and asked me how he was supposed to tow it. I thought he was the professional. He then continued to watch me push my car into an area where he could get it onto his truck. I'm 5' 5 and a 130 pounds trying to push my own car and turn the wheel by myself. When he arrived at my mechanic shop, he left the car in the middle of the road instead of taking it up to the actual shop. He told the mechanic that's not my problem. He then left my mechanic to push my car into his shop by himself.

Never showed up. Left me stranded for 7 hours. Lied they were on the way repeatedly. Eventually was able to have my regular service station call a truck for me. As I was waiting to have my car repaired, saw Alamo's deliver a car with AAA decals & contact numbers all over the side of his truck. Clearly, still active with multiple roadside assistance services. NEVER use these guys. Pure criminals.

I had my car towed to the dealership because a rodent ate through my brand new car; therefore it wouldn't start and leaked the gasoline out. Once I got towed to the dealership; the driver did damage to my car. I have many witnesses from the car dealership of such occurrence. I have tried to contact them repeatedly to get them to own up to the damage. Every time I call it goes directly to voicemail which is FULL therefore, I cant leave a message. So my other alternative is to blast it here. Maybe they will see this and pay for the damage.

Hyundai Roadside assistance dispatched this company when i called at 10:45pm. At 2am when they still hadn't arrived i was told i could leave keys in car and it would be picked up. At 5am they called and said they were at the car hooking it up and at 6:04 i received a message that my service was complete. That was 14 days ago. My car has been missing ever since. They don't answer the phone. Even Hyundai, roadside, hyundai dealership and AAA have been unable to get information from them as to what the driver did with my vehicle. My car is still unaccounted for and it's been a TOTAL NIGHTMARE! Do NOT use this company EVER!! After reading other reviews, I can't believe that these roadside assistance companies and even AAA use them! Its mind boggling! Buyer Beware

If I could give negative stars I would. U-haul dispatched this company for me, as I'd lock the keys in the truck. Waited and hour and a half. The guy calls me and ask where the keys wer, told him and he said ok. Never heard from him again. Called the company number which I believe goes directly to his phone, sent to voice mail. Uhaul was also not able to reach him. Received a notification that the GPS said the driver was 10inires away. Never showed. Never called. Save yourself the frustration and wasted time. Beware !!!

Waited over 3 hours and they never came and got my car. Service was ordered through mazda and yet no one ever showed even after calling and being told it would be another 20 minutes, an hour went by and nothing. Will not EVER use them again. Will go through my insurance or sign up for AAA. Should have 0 stars

Horrible Service do NOT use. I have State Farm Insurance and I needed my car towed. We put in the claim at 9:30 pm and were told it was going to be 60-90 mins. After the 90 mins we were told it was going to be another 25 mins. After the 25 mins we were told it was going to be another 25 mins. We called back and the lady answering the phones kept putting the call on hold and not returning back to the call. I finally called from another number and the lady answered my call and said sorry he is 15 mins away. 3 hours later still no tow truck. They should be out of business.

When they picked up my vehicle they damaged it. They said they will order the part and it should be in within a couple of days. It has now been over 3 weeks. The person who answers the phone at the office is clueless, and flat out unprofessional. Still waiting for a call back from over 2 weeks ago. She says she's going to tell the "owner" because they recently "fired" the manager. Now I call and call and call with no answer. The driver keeps on giving me the run around. Truly unprofessional and not reliable would not recommend for anyone to use their service. I am now in the process of hiring a lawyer to in order to get my car fixed and repaired.

Horrible, first off AAA said they were gonna be there to pick up my van at 7:50 am. At 8:03 i got a phone call from Alamo's saying the driver just got his truck and will be there in 35 minutes. 8:55 i called AAA again because Alamo said i had the wrong company when i called them to see when the driver would ne there. Alamo then told AAA they were 15 minutes away. I called AAA again at 9:30 and Alamo told them they would be there in 5 minutes. At 10:15 no one showed up. At 10:30 i got a call from the driver to repeat my address and the address of the mechanic (whose been waiting on my car since 8:00 am). My dad was at my house so the driver can get my van. When the driver pulled up i was on the phone and my dad was flagging him down because he passed the house twice. The driver then jumps out the truck and yells at my dad "why are you flagging me down" ? My dad replies cause you passed us twice. The driver then tells my dad he needed to lower his tone. To which my dad replied we have been waiting since 7:30. The driver then said that's not my problem. The bad part is this is the 2nd time this company has done this. I will never renew with AAA because they contract with this company. THIS company lies, the drivers are rude, they have you waiting for hours (at least 3), and have no accountability. Horrible company.

I recently needed towing my car to auto shop after stopped working on my wife’s way to work. She had to leave her car a parking lot. Alamo Towing was assigned to the job by my Car Insurance Road Assistance coverage. I gave instructions on the car’s insurance website, they went pickup the car and delivered to the Auto Shop I indicated. They are reliable, professional and courteous. I highly recommend their towing services! Great Job!!!

I was appalled by this group's services. I put in a work order to have my car moved from my parking lot to the dealership service area. First guy tells me, "I can't move the car because there's a battery problem and an engine problem" (Note: This is not relevant to the method of towing a vehicle); second guy moved the car to the dealership, but dropped it on the furthest side away from the service area and did not notify me, roadside assistance or the dealership the car was there, they left my key in the driver's seat with the door unlocked where anyone could have stolen the vehicle. When I called Chevrolet roadside assistance (Great service btw) to complain, they communicated with the group and were told they would fix the situation within an hour. Two hours later, I have a receptionist from Chevrolet Roadside assistance call again to check the status of the fix order- she was apparently told in an aggressive manner that it would take 30 more minutes and refused to give information on why it was taking so long. I waited another hour before leaving. 2 hours after that I receive a call from a tow driver when the situation was already handled on my own. Very poor quality operations management and requires a leader willing to step up and get the job done.

Alamo's towing is such an unprofessional company. If I could them give no stars, I would. If you hear that Alamo's towing is coming for you, immediately request or support another towing company. I literally waited (no joke) 6 hours for this company to arrived through AAA services. When I finally made it home, it was daylight (6:14am) and my first call for services was placed at 11:57pm. It became worst when AAA and I were continuously attempting to call them via telephone about their ETA & they ignored us both. At one point they lied by electronically marking they were at my location when they wasn't. What professional business does that? AAA loves to ask, "are you at a safe location?" What part of being broke down on the side of an expressway or road while waiting for towing 6 hours is safe? I actually started crying because I was soo upset with them. The driver finally showed up at 5:50am. My experience with the driver: He wasn't rude but he was very nonchalant towards the whole situation. No apology, empathy, or sympathy from him nor the dispatcher. He never got out of the truck at the arrival or the departure. He never said a word to me, he was about to take a completely different route away from my house, (I had to inform him, he asked no questions) he was driving about 85 miles on the turnpike, (with someone's vehicle attached to the back, where are the State troopers when you need them?) and he wasn't wearing a mask during this pandemic time. (Shouldn't we all be wearing one?) Finally after dropping me and my car off, Alamo's towing had the audacity to request a rating of their services. (Are you seriously kidding me?) After such treatment, Alamo's towing did not even offer me any accommodations for their terrible services, no customer service skills at all. This company should not even be in business when treating patronizing customers in such a way. One thing I'm certain about Alamo's Rental Car services has never given me unprofessional services like this towing company did. They should not be honored to carry the exact name as Almao's rental car to avoid any confusion. What a disgrace & experience I've had with them! DO NOT witness this same experience I did. Run home with your own feet first instead of depending on ALAMO'S TOWING. You will make it home much faster if you run. Ridiculous...

They were notified at 12pm to pick up my vehicle and it is now almost 3pm. I had an appt at 2 that i missed. I do not blame the driver but i blame the dispatcher and management. How can someone call for roadside assistance and two hours later still keeping them waiting. Mind you there isn't traffic due to it being during quarantine. I would appreciate an explanation as to why a I am still waiting and why your driver was not notified to pick me up at the scheduled time.

Would love to give zero stars for the extremely rude service I received from this company’s driver. They were assigned through my vehicle’s roadside assistance program to tow my dead car from my home to the dealership. When I called to schedule a tow I specifically stated that I would not be home to meet the driver until a particular time. When he showed up half an hour earlier, and I asked him to please give me 10 minutes for me to arrive, he refused to wait and left. I called him four times, and he mocked me, saying for me to “give him 10 minutes to arrive”. He showed up 30 minutes later, and jumped the car rather than hitching it up to the truck, and acted like he fixed everything and a tow wasn’t necessary. He was such a jerk and I didn’t trust him to take my vehicle so I ended up telling him to leave and I drove the car to the dealership myself to get serviced.

If I can give them a no-star I would. I was given this company through Progressive Roadside Assistance. When I set everything up on the app it stated that the estimated ETA would be 9:29 am. I understood that that was estimated. At 10 I got a text message from Progressive asking me if I was still waiting. I was. So I called the tow truck company and the number went to voicemail in which the voice mailbox is full so I could not reach anybody. I've been called Progressive they informed me that they only have two flatbed tow trucks and they were 30 minutes away. The tow truck did not get there until about 11. When the tow truck driver arrived he sped through the complex that I was in which is very dangerous. It was obnoxious the way that he was speeding and how loud his truck was. He arrived me and then stated that I was here to get your truck but they called me for another pick up so your tow truck driver is around the corner. I was actually really happy that this driver did not take my truck because he look like he was high. He then went and grabbed the tow truck driver and showed him where I was which I was pleased I'll give him that. The new driver loaded my truck onto the flatbed and left. I called him and told him that it needed to go to the auto body body parts at the dealership. And I told him the name of the representative that he needed to make sure got my truck. He assured me that everything was fine and he would take care of it. At 11:21 he left and I texted my guy at the dealership telling him the truck was on the way. After 2 p.m. I get a phone call from the dealership from a random guy who works there telling me that the truck was dropped off an hour before and was asking me what was wrong with the truck. Shocked I was told him that I gave the guy who is transporting my truck instructions on who he needed to make sure he got to. Apparently he dropped the truck off and stated that he had a disabled vehicle and did not give any direction as to who needs the truck. I now see the rating on this company and wish that I would have known before sticking with them. I do not recommend this company at all! I don't know where they had my truck in the hours or or whatever time in between. But my job where the truck was picked up from is about 30 minutes away from the dealership didn't need to go to. Leave in the parking lot at 11:30 the latest and dropping it off at 1 p.m. at minimum does not make any sense.

I normally do not write reviews unless they are for excellent or really bad service. Last week I needed a tow truck for my vintage Firebird and I made arrangement through my insurance company. I chuckled when they said a truck would be at my house in 45 minutes. I have waited for tow trucks before and on average in is at least a couple of hours. So when Carlos was only 45 minutes late I was happily surprised. He showed up in a nice new clean truck, sussed out the situation and had me on the truck in less than 15 minutes. He did notice my car had a special aero package and took special care not to damage the chin spoilers. Once at the dealership he knew everybody and the offload was fast and with a handshake he was on his way. Just like it is supposed to be. I am updating my evaluation to say I am very surprised at all the negative reviews here. My experience with Carlos and Alamo’s Towing was excellent.

My car wouldn’t start and my insurance provider contacted this company to provide towing service. After waiting for an hour, the insurance company contacted to let me know this company was running 20 min late due to traffic. After those 20 min, I contacted this company thru the number listed on this site and there was no answer. I called repeatedly and was sent to a full voicemail. I contacted my insurance provider to have them contact this towing company and once they did, their dispatch claimed that they were at my break-down site providing service which they clearly weren’t. Once I told them that they weren’t there, the towing company stated that their driver was getting gas. Thank God for a Good Samaritan who went out of his way to give me a jump so I can make it home before dark. What a waste of an afternoon! Upon reading their reviews, this seems to be a common problem and their way of handling business. I urged my insurance provider to look into this fraudulent company and remove them from their network of towing companies.

This company was dispatched to tow my overheated vehicle through my insurance company. Long story short - horrible service. Actually, no service. They never showed up. Two hours later, after several attempts to reach them and I was CLEARLY being sent to voicemail for a mailbox that was full, the guy finally picks up and says he has my car and will be there in 20 minutes. Four hours later, after seven more failed attempts to reach him and my third call to my insurance company, the insurance rep says she got a hold of the driver and my car was never picked up. She tells me the driver claimed that I was not answering his calls. So, i had to go get my own vehicle at 8:30 pm. This guy is a liar at best and engaging in insurance fraud at worst. This guy never went to my vehicle or tried to call me. He should be ashamed of himself and possibly prosecuted for his actions.

Worst tow company ever. Unprofessional would be a nice way to put it. Show up an hour late and were rough with the car when loading it. Didn’t tell the dealership when he dropped it off, just left it unlocked in the parking lot with keys sitting on the seat. Guy was rude and disrespectful in person. Refused to show any ID or give me a receipt...literally drove off with my car as I was talking to him. Oh and he did all this while wearing flip flops. Horrible company zero professionalism.

Was broken down and one tow company scheduled to come and then didn't show up. We sat there for over an hour and half waiting. Alamo towing not only picked up their slack but communicated their arrival time, and actually arrived earlier than said. Yimmi Gables showed concern for our situation and was extremely helpful. He wanted to make sure that my car got to where it needed to be towed, but also made sure I had a ride to make it home. They will be my first call next time. And no, I'm not an employee there.

Wow, how do rip off artists like this stay in business, look at all these terrible reviews. They should actually get negative 5 stars, and are really not good people. Dispatch at 11:37a, guy never showed, called around 2 to let me know he is going to another call. Also, roadside assistance clearly stated any overage mileage is paid to them, not the tow truck company, but Alamo stated otherwise and advised I needed to pay $5 per mile, $200 to go to my dealership. It was actually the very first thing I was told when I called as my tracker was at 0 minutes to arrival for about 30 minutes time, and when I called to find out why, that's the first thing he told me. Crooked, crooked, crooked. Taking advantage of people in a distress situation on the Saturday of the July 4th holiday...if they are free to do that, please be free to NOT USE THIS firm!

Words will not do justice in describing my experience with these incompetent fools. Tow truck was scheduled to arrive at 4pm. I receive 4 texts prior with updates each stating the ETA. Everytime I was notified the ETA changed by 30 minutes. I tried calling dispatch 13 times and did not get a response!!! Finally at 5 30 PM the driver contacts( Keep in mind I had been trying to reach them since 3:00 p.m.) and informed me that he would not arrive until 615. My car was in a garage and it closed at 4:30. Needless to say I expressed my discontent for them and canceled being that I had no other choice. Their only response was" sorry but we were busy". No apology, no remorse for not getting back to me for 3 hours or for being 2 hours late. This is the worst Towing company I have ever dealt with and I suggest you push your car with your own hands before you call these guys up! I should have read the rest of the reviews before I called them.

We were told by the roadside assistant service at the dealership that first they could not find anyone within a 50 mile radius so it was put off until the next day. Now, the car was at the house, but what if it weren’t? Were we supposed to sleep in the car? The next day we were contacted by the service to let us know that Alamo’s towing would be at our house around 10:30. That time came and went with no tow truck to be seen. We were given the tow truck drivers cell number. Each time we called, it was 20 minutes before they would arrive. They never showed but when looking at the tracking sheet it is showing they were with our vehicle, that they had delivered our vehicle and our rescue was completed!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are liars and will leave you stranded and on your own!!! I plan to have a very long conversation with the service manager or the owner of the dealership. If this is the best they can do for roadside assistance, they have some serious problems also!

By far probably one of the worst customer service experiences. Unfortunately my truck broke down with my two-year-old in the car.right next to where broke down there was an automotive repair shop that this tow company AT towing was dropping off a vehicle. I stopped the driver and asked him if he was available to tow my truck to my repair center which was only six point seven miles down the road. the driver stated no problem called his boss to get me a price on the tow bill which we both agreed to at $80. the driver then said he was going up the street to get diesel gas and would be right back. I waited there 45 minutes with no return of the driver at all. I then called the main number for dispatch and spoke to the boss who said he was going to reach out to the driver and would call me right back. Here I am sitting typing this two hours later, since I have called the dispatch number they have sent me directly to voicemail or ignored the phone ring. I feel in my heart if this is something you're not able to do your upfront with people and don't try to avoid the inevitable as people are in a bad situation on the road.... I would definitely suggest if you're looking for a tow truck service to provide you with towing your vehicle keep looking elsewhere. This company is horrible when it comes to customer service

Absolutely terrible! This company was recommended for roadside assistance. Wait time was 1 hour. After an hour and 20 minutes passed with no communication, I contacted the towing service and the call was cut off. I called back and, through a terrible connection, was asked for my location and vehicle type. I'm not even sure who I spoke with. I gave him my info and he immediately said it would be another 30 minutes. I told him that would push my wait time to nearly 2 hours. He yelled, "Bear with me!" and hung up. About 45 minutes later, I received another notification that they'd be there in 15 minutes. Needless to say, they never showed up. Roadside Assistance called me at exactly 15 minutes after the notification. I told them what happened and they cancelled the job immediately. Another more competent towing service showed up in 45 minutes. This is the worst towing service ever.

I needed a tow after my car stopped working. Called my provider and was referred to Alamo. Supposedly it was a 1 hour wait time. 1.5 hours later, it gets postponed to 2 hours. 2.5 hours later and then my request got cancelled by them. What a waste of my damm time. Im furious they are horrible! If i could give less stars i would

I was pleased and very relieved to learn that road side assistance, towing, was available under my State Farm policy. However the service I actually received was awful! I was informed that the tow truck would be there within 45 minutes. The driver took almost 2 hours to get to the location and wrongfully sent me text/online updates of a completely different ETA and statuses along the way. He logged that he had arrived to the location and wasn’t actually there for at least 45 minutes. He never made eye contact or came off his cell phone to speak to my father who was assisting with the tow, and just dropped the car off at the mechanic shop without a word! Did I mention that he locked the key up in the car so my mechanic couldn’t access the inside of the car? The least he could have done was hand him the key. Ridiculous. I hope I never need roadside assistance again because Alamo Towing is no longer an option.
