You’re illegally towing cars from Taco Bell and chick-fil-a on Fowler. These cars belong to college students none the less where you charge them ridiculous amount of money so they can get there car back. Yall are a bunch of scammers and will soon get shut down.

Our work van got stuck at a construction site and needed to be pulled out. They arrived within 25 minutes and had my guys on the way in no time. I will use these guys again for sure. Nice on the phone, quick response and received my receipt by email.
Truck was towed at my family’s home. The company is run by meth heads who ask you to help them do their job.
Asking for a receipt seems completely foreign to them and they don’t even have pens to write out how much they charged. There’s no formal information and no one on sight. Waited 45 minutes for someone to show up. Shady doesn’t begin to describe it.
Absolute hillbilly trash. They damaged my car, LEFT it in the parking lot and tried to hide the damage assuming no one was watching (spoiler: I was). They then refused to give me their insurance information (if they even have it).
These people, if you can call it that, are scammers, and you recite. for just parking in CVS a few minutes after 10 they took my car, and they charged me 225 dollars. They don't have papers to prove that they are a professional company.

This place is filled with crooks. After leaving my son's recognition ceremony we decided to stop for some lunch at Taco Bell and Chik Fil A. I parked at Taco Bell and after ordering my son's food walked back to Taco Bell for mine only to find my car gone, less than 10 minutes. After calling the number the guy said he was around the corner and would give my car back for $175. That's boardline extortion, not to mention I was a paid costumer of Taco Bell. I was forced to pay the money or "get my car back in 24 hours" You should be ashamed of yourselves on how you treated me, an active duty military member of over 18 years, and to all the other people you have extorted.
Continually rev car and boat engines and do burn-outs down the neighborhood streets at 2am. Their homemade gate sounds like a hurricane blowing down a metal shack every time they open and close it. They weren't interested in addressing any of these issues when I spoke to them. They are away during the day, and are not available for people who come to pick up their towed cars.
I live in a community that has a rule about not parking on the street after a certain time or they will tow. Now this is not anything I have an issue with. What I find disgusting is that during a state of emergency and under mandatory evacuation during Hurricane Irma these bottom feeding scum were learking around trying to find a car to tow. I hope no one was caught by them and lost what might be their only way to escape. I'd rather push my car uphill than call these heartless immoral company.
Towed my car from a CVS parking lot within 2 hours of it being there. I accept the towing itself because I missed the sign but it was there.
However, the place is super sketchy. It wasn't clear where the entrance was and I had to call twice to even have someone come out so I could get my car. It looks so bad that my Lyft driver stayed with me for fear of my safety.
Told me $225 to get my car back and then $250 when I was on my way to get it. The guy working clearly hadn't even been awake before the second phone call.
Did not provide a receipt, though this doesn't surprise me as judging by the towing laws in Tampa, they way overcharged me. CVS really needs to find a better towing company, if only for their customers sake.

Slow as molasses... I was about a mile away from their headquarters it took them an hour and a half to get a truck to me after I called about 4 times. And the truck was in pretty poor condition. I've definitely had better towing service!
Shady f***s patrol 5 block area to tow cars for no legal reason. We were towed after parking in a lot for a closed business with one sign postec on the other end of the parking lot. Cost us $175 to get the car back. Now my kids don't have anything for school starting Friday as that was the only reason I even had the cash. This place needs to be investigated ASAP.
Best 24 hour towing company in Tampa! We called A & J late at night, they gave us a cheap towing price, the tow truck arrived the next morning exactly on time and the driver even gave me a ride to the garage. They are the only towing service I would call.
Rude, unprofessional, manipulative, thieves. Not a reputable towing Company. No vehicle license plate affixed to their truck. Took my vehicle from a fast food parking lot on Fletcher Ave. Insisted on $100 cash for exchange. Took my cash, digital photo of drivers license, and could not produce a paper or email receipt. See you in small claims court.

Seriously, the driver that almost STOLE my car out of my yard was so cold & of course paid $150 cash only (a legit person/company would do traceable transactions) didn't "have change" even to scam us out of more money, employed by Riverbay more like in cahoots (the front office say it's YES Communities that brought in these crooks to prey on us paying residents) I have watched for several nights when A&J Towing wait for our security guard to leave because Riverbay REFUSE to give us security round the clock or install working cameras, the drivers stalk up & down our roads by passing older vehicles breaking the rules parked illegally & will tow the more desired type cars, imagine that...don't leave a notice to say where you're vehicle is, don't care how we get to work or even their shop, let charges rack up while you play hide & seek for your car, then they get to KEEP your car from the charges becoming so high you can't afford to pay. We're talking about a living pay check to pay check type community, where they KNOW coming up with hundreds of dollars on short notice is almost impossible. That's IF they get caught taking it or you unfortunately find it, when they take it with out being caught, they get a free car! The jerk trying to take mine actually said "I drive by every night & seen your car parked in the driveway, I happened to catch you slipping for the first time so that's on you" when I tried to explain we only parked in the grass due to a nail in our tire & my husband was trying to park it close to the house so he could run a cord to air it up in the morning. Frigging HEARTLESS! Crooks in cahoots with Riverbay, splitting profits I'm sure. My daughter broke down just outside of Tampa and needed emergency roadside assistance. She just didn't know what kind - if she needed a jumpstart, car battery replacement or fuel and fluid delivery. My husband and I were too far away to come help her so we called A & J Towing company who we had used in the past for tire changes, minor mechanical repairs, auto dent removal and motorcycle towing. They have always been totally professional and above board. Anyway, it turned out my daughter had run out of gas - her fuel gauge had broken and she didn't realize that all she needed was a quick fuel delivery and not a tow truck ride to the shop like she feared. If you need any kind of roadside emergency assistance, call these guys! Thanks once again, the Sawyer's.
Skulked around during a state of emergency before Hurricane Irma hit when there were mandatory evacuations in place looking for cars to tow. Everyone understands that there are rules but they could have possibly been towing away people's last resort for escaping.
I know all towing places don’t usually have positive reviews, but I’m rating their professionalism. If you have someone’s car at least...AT LEAST have my car ready to receive when I get there. Especially you had a 20min start on me. Smh
Nothing but scam artists! Parked my car at a Winghouse to run in and use the restroom, came back out and my car was gone. They wanted $265.00 cash only. The guy who runs it is super rude, was cussing out customers that were calling him and threatened to not give me my car back if my boyfriend came with me to pick it up. Where else was he suppose to go? We had to uber to the tow lot. No one was there for 30 min, nor was my car. He finally came and drove us to his "other lot" which is just an open field by the way a couple streets over, and there was my car. These people running this company are very unprofessional, sketchy, and nothing but trash. I will be getting my money back one way or another.
So i was suppose to "donate" my car to this Heritage for the Blind foundation. A and J towing happened to be the towing company they assigned me too. Well Wednesday they were suppose to come pick up my car and never did, called them and apparently "he forgot". I ended up rescheduling for Friday and postponed my errands so they can come get it...well here comes Friday and once again NO SHOW..
When i called somebody said they will "check" to see if someone is on there way to get the car and NEVER called back. When i called 15 min later...no answer. I was all for donating until I had to deal with them. I ended up calling everything off. They are very unprofessional and horrible business!
My car broke down on 275 in the middle of a hot day and my 2 year old was with me so I was definitely panicked, the tow truck driver said he would get to me as quickly as possible and he did! He helped me with my son's carseat and drove us to their shop, he and his co-workers looked at my car and immediately figured out what was wrong with it and fixed it for no extra charge. The driver really made my day, he even sang songs to us on the ride! He called me later to make sure I made it home OK because I had a long way to go, I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again if needed!
I live in river bay, my car was towed from the end of a turn around, in front if my house. I have been parking in the same location for the 3 years i have lived hear. I have never received a warning, or been told I could not park here. After paying $240 (cash only) I was able to get my car back. The towing business in general is a very shady racket. In one way or another I will get $240 out of this towing company!
If I would I give them a -star. Stay away from these people. Last night they took our truck because the truck was touching a piece of grass. Then today we went to get the truck the place is a junk. I called they made us wait for 30min and said cash only, they said it was $240. When they got there they said that it was $250. They broke the back fender bender. I saw some scratches on my truck. One of the biggest scams in Tampa. Towed my car from a parking lot that was not clearly marked and after business hours for every business on the lot(Saturday about 8pm). We parked to meet some friends for dinner at Gator's Dockside in Temple Terrace. I parked in the lot behind the bank- no signs anywhere. The Police had no report that they had towed the vehicle, which they are required by law to do. The representative who answered the phone was extremely aggressive towards my wife, quoted her a ridiculous amount, $280 and when she tried to negotiate, he spouted back at her about having out-of-state tags. When I laughed and commented that was not his concern, he threatened physical violence against me. Apparently, years of South Florida heat and copious use of trailer park Crystal meth can cause extreme fits of rage when combined in the neurological system of those who come from long lines of multi-generational inbreeding. This assumption was verified when we arrived at this fine establishment. It looks like the perfect front for an Aryan Nation gun-running/baby smuggling operation. The courteous gentleman with the DADDY'$ GIRL prison tattoo on his throat scolded her for not calling as soon as she arrived like he done told her. He told her cash only and refused to give a receipt, a printed rate card or proof of a service contract with the property owner. He stated the receipts "were on order" and he didn't have access to the other stuff. Ended up just paying and getting the hell off that lot fast as possible. A bartender at a place very near the place I was towed from told me that these guys will sit and wait for people to park in that lot and that no doubt my car was hooked up and gone before we even got to our table. They are predators who use loopholes and gaps in the local laws to boost their business and victimize unaware citizens. Local businesses beware- using people like this will cause consumers to NOT spend their money with you.
When you request a receipt after they ask for CASH payment and their response is “No sh*#t, Sherlock” (and that’s the more respectful part of their communication), it’s quite obvious what kind of vocabulary-limited, social skill inept morons run this business. If you are thinking of contracting them-steer clear. There are a few other professionally run companies in the area who can get the job done minus the disrespectful, rude communications with your potential customers.
Completely unprofessional! One of their employees were crossing the road wearing all black we didn't see her. I yelled at them not knowing what they were saying. They followed me all the way down to 275 pulled next to me to yell and exchange words. Completely unprofessional and conduct unbecoming of any business to start a road rage incident over a misunderstanding of someone Jay walking wearing all black.
They charge over the legal limit for towing fees. Do not use them for any reason. They do not deserve the business. Plus they refuse to provide their address and their address isn't listed correctly on Google. It's 4620 florida ave. They also are listed open 24 hours but are not. Good luck getting your vehicle.
I was a PAID customer at the CVS where our vehicles were taken from. Me and my family purchased items and spent over $25 on drinks. Then we decided to eat at a restaurant near of there by walking to it because the weather was nice. My vehicle and my family's was towed. And according to the tow company I was not. I have receipts. I'm contacting an attorney and the local news. On the other side. There was a guy who came up to us at the CVS parking and knew what we were going thru. He would take us to an ATM to get cash to pay rhe tow company and then take us there for $10 each. Its mall a business. And this individual is in partner with the tow company. He knew the amount and was timing with the tow company who said that there was no one at the lot where my car was taken to. It's a scam. Im contracting Donna Helton, the owner.
