Predatory towing practices. Wrongfully sticker and tow cars within our community with out any logical explanation other than “ pay and take us to court” Terrible company. Dishonest people that pray on successful hardworking people.

Had my car break down on 19th Street in Ruskin and Brent was sent out to help me with a black and cream color truck. When I googled the location of the shop and it was only 15-20 minutes away. When I placed the call I was informed it would only take 30-45 minutes which is understandable. But I was waiting for about 2 hours .He was extremely unfriendly and acted as if he hated his lige and the world around him. Price was pretty high for such poor customer service. Car was scratched and cracked on my bumper, Im not mad but I expected better quality service especially for what I paid.
I had the worst experience of my life with them, I had an accident and I called a truck towing for my car that I knew to take my car to my house and they arrived and they did not care what I told them, that they were already coming for me, that I did not want them to take my car, so they could charge an amount against my will for the car to their truck telling me lies, it is horrible that because they want to earn more they take advantage of other people's misfortunes. I felt doubly sad, robbed, scammed and that they did not respect and ignored my will and my pleas. because in order to get it back they charged me almost 500 dollars for a while that it was there.
I had my car towed from where I stay at one morning. When I did find my car, I was quoted one price, but due to the circumstances, Dixie Towing Company completely worked with me. The manager of one of their locations in Tampa, Fl (off S.22nd) street was amazing. He listened and even though their job can be overwhelming, he understood the situation and came up with an amazing solution. I am forever grateful to the manager and his coworker ( whoever picked up the phone for dispatch) THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Getting your car towed is already a stressful experience, but having someone who actually understands, and works with you. Once in a lifetime. If I haven’t said it enough I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOU,AND YOUR COWORKERS.
Would give zero starts if I could. Total scam and racked they have going with the police. Much less than helpful unless you consider when they are counting the cash you must give them! Would never recommend them for anything!!!!!
Terrible company! Said they would take two vehicles for 125 each and is now holding a vehicle until paid 500 after the payment was made. Disregard over property and poor customer service. This is poor business. Do not recommend! Have everything in writing. Scammers!
I had a horrible experience with this towing company. On January 4th I arrived at my friend's Residence at 8:18 p.m. my vehicle got towed at 10:13 p.m in this area there are NO signs that states no street parking, either on the sidewalk or grass that was visible in my sight that this is a tow away zone. After several attempts calling the company to find my vehicle I finally reached one of the employees by the name of Junior between the hrs of 2-3am trying to get an explanation and locate as to where my vehicle was. Junior stated my vehicle was towed because of a previous warning that was given 7 months ago, and they were following the guidance from the HOA ( Glen Cove Subdivision in Ruskin). I then asked Junior how much is the cost to get my vehicle..he " stated that he could have someone meet me at the location within the hour but I had to pay in cash ONLY in rhe amount of $248.00 I was frantic because of the late hour and did not want to risk being at a unfamiliar location..so I told Junior I will call him back...call back repeatedly got no answer. Therefore, I decided to wait until daylight on January 5th. I reached out calling again no answer, then finally reaching Michael who identified himself as one of the managers and he lived in Tampa. I explained to Michael the situation he basically stated the same thing with the exception of telling me that I had to now pay in cash 400 plus dollars I was livid at this point...I then asked if they take credit cards, he as well said I had to pay in cash. All I can think at this point is that I am being taken advantage of, being ripped off. I had not seen any fees or any documents stating the breakdown of what I'm being charged for..Im thinking this is unacceptable and how many others have been told to pay cash with no other options given. Then he mentioned
or wait until that Monday and speak to a manager although he mentioned he was the manager!.."Why would I want to be charged even more?"I told him I will call back. After calling Michael back I asked if they will take cash app for the payment..thats when his story started to change, and he conveniently mentioned the other payment methods that they can except! check, cash ,debit card and or credit cards I said REALLY so I can now pay with a credit card and he said yes. By now Im totally confused and annoyed with this company, why would I wait another day to incur more chaŕges...needless to say Michael didn't know that I had done some research on the Florida law stating that a tow company in Florida has to give you more than one option to pay. Monday January 6th I ended up calling the office in Tampa seeking more information the individual I spoke to his name was Tony another manager, I inquired about the the incident that took place with the towing of my vehicle Tony defended Junior and Michael in regards to it was a mistake about requesting payments only in cash. There's no mistake when you're asking someone to pay in cash at this point it's all about the Integrity of the employees that work for this company. I am so disappointed with this entire situation, the company. Glenn Cove HOA and the integrity of its employees that I encountered who works there by trying to take advantage of me. I feel violated as a consumer..charged 400 plus dollars for 14 hours. My advise if you don't know and understand. Please do your research and be mindful of areas you park..to include safe zones...People and businesses will ripped you off and its unfortunate!
Beware when they damage your vehicle they will not take responsibility for it. My vehicle was towed by this company when I called they told me $272 to get my car. When I arrive the guy was trying to charge me over $300 good thing I asked how much when I was on the phone before going there. After inspecting my car it had several fresh scratches all along my drivers side my front bumper that was already a little sticking out looked a bit worse. The guy advised send photos to my brother we have a body shop if the driver did this will have it fixed. Sent the photos over as instructed to get the following reply “We will have our legal team reach out to you tomorrow and provide the pictures that we took on site. We have to take pictures and video before we tow the vehicle. The front bumper and those scratches were already on there. We have proof to show it to you.” Two days later never heard back. Sent a message and received a call a few hours later from guy named Junior who didn’t not seem to be a legal professional and said he could not send me the photos only way to see them was to meet him at the body shop. Very inconvenient and not what I was originally told but I guess that was the point to make it inconvenient so I won’t pursue. So met him at the body shop the photos showed the bumper sticking out as I knew it would show it’s just sticking out more now but the scratches were no where in the video or photos and he was pointing out scratches on my car that are not even there today it was just a light reflection from the background in the photo. But this visit was a complete waste of time he wouldn’t address the fact that his photos did not show any scratches on my driver side he only just kept asking the same question tell me how my driver caused these damages. I was not there how can I answer that. That would be a better question to ask your driver how he caused these damages rather than me guessing at it. He said he can see if he has better photos. Well you said you could see the scratches in the photos so if you had better photos and knew I was coming why would you not have the photos you supposedly said you could see the scratches in. Tried to give them the opportunity to make it right and fix the damage their driver did to my vehicle but the conversation was quickly going no where with the same question tell me how we did this? No ownership of the fact that the photos show my cars condition prior to the tow with no scratches in the areas of concern and they do not have the photos they said they have showing these scratches. So looks like just more of my time and money I’m gonna have to waste to try to get them to honor fixing the damage their driver caused when they can already see it was not there previously from their own photos.

This company illegally towed my vehicle from in front of my office. It is a 4WD Toyota Sequoia. I watched on camera as they broke into it, lifted the front wheels , then towed it off with the rear wheels on the ground. They want ME to pay them to get MY OWN CAR BACK TOWED ILLEGALLY . Below it clearly states that it was towed incorrectly and will require significant repairs.
Per the Toyota owners manual: If towing is necessary, we recommended you have it done by your
Toyota dealer or a commercial tow
truck service. In consultation with them,
have your vehicle towed using either (a)
or (b).
Only when you cannot receive a towing
service from a Toyota dealer or commercial tow truck service, tow your vehicle carefully in accordance with the

This will be going to court as there is not proper signage in our parking lot too even tow a vehicle. I have the driver on camera towing it incorrectly.
I think this is a great place I've known him for a very long time being here in Tampa even since 1926 and they're still rolling on if your car needs body work they got it needs mechanical work they got it just go by and see Angelo and the Wrecker Service in Dixie has has grown quite big and the drivers seem to be good great place Dixie paint and body

My son was rear ended on 275 in Tampa and the car was not drivable stuck in a middle lane. Dixie showed up promptly with a flatbed and Michael the driver was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend!!!! I was having such a horrible day when my car broke down on 275 in 5 o’clock traffic. I’m a Uber driver part time and I remember someone giving me their card for a tow service. Dixie was there in such a short amount of time, super affordable. I will never use AAA again. As a woman, I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Worst towing company EVER!! Picked my vehicle up to find front rim is messed up. I just bought the vehicle a month ago. Anyways I call to talk to them and the employee that day told me to send pictures to the phone of the damage and they would send the pictures they took while loading. Well.. long story short I had to finaly contact them after 2 days of silence. just to have someone refuse to share the pictures saying "Its not my problem i wasnt the employee you originally talked to" and then proceeded to threaten me. He told me to get a lawyer. Craziest part is all I wanted was to see the pictures they took to see if I could see if the scratch was already there. Guess I'm getting a lawyer. Lol Whatever you say "it was shaken off the flatbed" keep checking that mailbox you'll get the letter soon.
We got our truck towed by Hank! We had tons of other companies turn us away through AAA so we decided not to go through them and went onto Google. The person that originally answered the phone was very nice and his employee Hank lived up to the expectations we hoped for. He went above and beyond for the Tow! We are truly grateful to the company and especially Hank. He was very nice and somebody that does a great job representing your company as well. 5 STARS for Hank!
Lost all power and my car became dead weight in the middle the road with traffic all around. Called one company who didn’t have anyone in the area, and the guy said call these guys and that they will take care of me. And he wasn’t lying…a great company. Got my vehicle towed back to my place, and helped me determine the battery issue and helped me fix it. I’m sure there are a lot of towing companies in the Tampa area but this is the team I would prefer to do business with. Keep up the great work guys!!

Owner showed up and exceeded expectations. Carefully retrieved my vehicle with hanging control arm. Then got me clear to the other side of the Tampa Bay in under an hour and a half of me calling. Mind you this is the mourning of Hurricane Idalia passing by. This is the guy you want. Super professional, knows his stuff. Managed to drop the car in my garage without causing any further damage. Talk about being in distress, I was. It was hot, I was all alone, I had no one to call. Tony from Dixie Towing was a God sent. He called me and reassured me he'd help me. And he did. Let me add I'm 80, but I don't think he knew it he just knew I was at my wits end.
