Absolutely terrible service. We called for a tow service today was told it would be an hour. No update but got text driver was on their way at 15:25 after over an hour still noting. I called again and was told they’d have to look into it. I’m then told that the driver was stuck at the last stop and they couldn’t send another driver. We had to wait over 4 hours for their driver to show up when we were told he was only 6 miles away. He finally arrived after 20:00. It’s now 21:22 and the vehicle finally reached our drop off location and I get a bill for 3.5 hrs and a fuel sue charge and a 3% charge for a total of $540!! He was only 6 miles away and it took over 4 hours for home to get to us. I then called for a credit or something as our employee waited for hours on the side of the road as we’re being told oh he’s 30 min away. it will be less than 10 min. They kept giving us lies about how far away he was then were told he was stuck in sand that why he was late!?!? I would never use them again. Absolutely ridiculous and terrible service.

Waiting 5 hours on a tow truck to pick up Hubbard Constuction wrecked fleet vehicle first dispatched tow truck broke down and no one from Stepps bothered to call and let me know that they had to dispatch on tow truck this ordeal is going to take 6 to 7 hours to be over with not happy at all

The two ladies, Vicky and Miss Angie were professional and efficient. One even did their best to speak Spanish and help the customer despite the language barrier. Thank you!

Most unprofessional and sketchy place out there. Office staff is just one person and completely useless. They literally tell you to call the office because they don't know anything (as im standing in the office). When i call the office they put me on hold and hang up. Dealing with this place is the worst. Hope this location gets shut down.

Overall, this company's dangerous and clumsy operations are a recipe for disaster. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Stepp's Towing Company. Your vehicle and your peace of mind will thank you.

It’s about used parts they sale They have the rudest people can answer the phone plus the manager are worse than them instead of helping to sale and cover what was going on he just made worse and try to argue or explain ‼ This is a head up for the owner due to that he doesn’t know about it ! Otherwise it will be a different story! People are there to create issues not to solve problems!

This company deserves to be sued. They auctioned off our vehicle after a serious accident. When we asked who they auctioned it to, they had no info and refused to notify us about the auction. They have caused the insurance to not pay us full worth of the vehicle.

Terrible service. Everyone think their powerful bc they tow ppl cars and hold them hostage. Had to wait bc they will drag and take their time no matter what. This place needs new management. Hiring ex cons and low life’s make dealing with these folks a disaster. Highly recommend to avoid at all costs.

Elena (sp?) - my girl with the sloth shirts, made a very stressful situation (the totaling of my husband's car after he was t-boned) as little stress as possible for us while collecting his things, taking pictures of the vehicle, etc. She really knows her stuff and she is a kind and empathetic individual who made us laugh once she saw me starting to get choked up. Ya'll are wonderful in my book, as long as she's working there!

Worst place to have your car towed to. They will tell you one thing in person and another once you are there. They lie and have some employees that are miss informed. Terrible service and would not ever use this tow yard.

Ridiculously terrible service. I called many, many times only for no one to pick up. I was not able to get a hold of someone until the next day. Once I was finally able to make an appointment, the attendant was extremely slow and unresponsive. I came early to the appointment and it still took almost three hours to get my car. Also, the attendant was either incompetent and does not know how to count money or they were trying to scam me out of another $20. At the end, they even gave me the wrong receipt for someone else’s car. Either way, terrible service and terrible business. Company full of vultures.

Stepps is nearly impossible to get ahold of. I have called over and over and every time wait for nearly an hour and then my call gets dropped. If you’re towing someone’s car you’d think you’d want to be more reachable

Woman who works in the office is very rude. There is no reason to treat people badly when they are already dealing with problems or they wouldn't be in this situation. She acted as if I was going to steal something out of my vehicle, that was totalled. Had to sit there and make a list of everything I took out.

I handle claims for many dealerships and have to deal with tow companies daily. Stepp's has been the most pleasant, friendly, and helpful tow company I have dealt with to date! Their customer service is wonderful. I wish all tow companies were this pleasant to work with.

At the office, the Male clerk was very rude. The Female was nice. Still, I never, ever want Stepp's to tow my car from a accident site, not ever. o star.

I was stranded for hours in a parking lot. I was originally told I was not allowed to ride with the driver although my car was being taken to my own home. Right about the time my driver showed up a giant storm came in. He asked if I had a way home I advised him I did not and that I had been stuck there for most of the day trying to find someone to help me with my tow service. He was extremely kind and did allow me to ride with him. He said it was at his own discretion which I completely appreciated since I had been in that parking lot for over 9 hours in the heat with nothing to eat or drink all day. He was extremely professional and treated my car with the utmost respect. I highly recommend their service. He was a godsend and My darkest hour and I couldn't have been more grateful. Also I had explained to the dispatcher that my vehicle was in all wheel drive vehicle, so they instinctively sent a flatbed as to not destroy my transmission.

My daughter's car was sent to the yard on Nebraska on 4/27 . On 4/30 we got to yard and Kevin Beacon was able to open car doors but not trunk. Wish he would have told me I can boost the car with my car to open trunk "battery is dead" I would have also paid for a boost.... Spoke to Jackie she is awesome! I advised will have someone go there with my daughter to give her a boost or if no one can she will take an UBER and pay $75 to open trunk. She just graduated from USF & has school stuff & clothes in trunk thats why it's so important. Can't wait till this is done... Go BULLS & thank you Stepps towing...

Stepp's Towing was called by Tesla Roadside Assistance to tow my car that had 12v battery died. Tesla requested car to be towed to the Service Center. In the Tesla Roadside Assistance manual it states that car should be towed on flatbed tow truck only and that it's owner responsibility to make sure it's done correctly. Truck that arrived wasn't flatbed. I asked to confirm with Tesla that it's ok not to tow on flatbed. The tow truck driver said they can send flatbed truck to me if I want and left. In 15 min I got a call from Tesla that since I rejected tow truck I will have to pay for the second truck out of pocket. I never rejected the tow, but Stepp's tow truck driver misrepresented situation.

Tow drivers very professional and timely after my bad wreck. Office staff - horrible. Incredibly slow and very elderly. She couldn't figure out my registration - I am from out of state. I tried to explain the process for transfer. She argued that my registration was not valid or real, took her 30 minutes on the phone with her boss to say it was ok - should probably be educated on out of state titles. Cash only !!! Sounds shady to me. Also no one informed me that it was cash only so I had to leave and go to a bank. No one there to legally sign ( or authorized to by the company) for transfer of title so that is comforting. I arrived back from the bank with the money and she still made me wait until every customer was served so we could all go out together. We finally make it to the yard 2 hours later to get my stuff from my vehicle. She kept commenting on the contents of my vehicle and asking a million questions. I asked her if I could just be alone and do my thing. She said she had to supervise me and list what I was taking from the vehicle in case I took anything important? Since when is it their business to know my personal property. She kept asking me what certain items were and when I declined to answer she said she needed to know. I basically gave her the silent treatment from that moment onwards. I pulled in my other car to transfer contents to it , it's a higher end car, and she had comments about that. What a joke, easier to just leave the car smashed on the side of the road to deal with this place. How a "legit" business is allowed to operate cash only is beyond me. I'll be contacting the business registrar.

Horrible experience. My car got towed ave the driver told me that if I needed to get anything out of my vehicle it wouldn't be a problem. I called to find out what I needed to get my car and i was told that I could email a picture of my drivers license and bring in registration. The next time I spoke with them I was told that there was no registration in my glove box (which is crazy because its always been in there) and that they would not accept an emailed picture of my driver's license. My social security card was in my vehicle and the police took my license. The lady I spoke with wasn't pleasant and didn't understand the fact that I need my social security card in order to get a new license. I spoke with them several times today and not once was told that on Saturday's you HAVE to have a appointment. I called at 3 and was given an appointment for 4:30. At 4:30 nobody showed up so I called. They said that they couldn't have anybody at the location until 5:30. It was 6:00 before somebody finally showed up.

The attendant/receptionist was rude and almost actively unhelpful. It took a lot of prying to get the fee structure out of her, and she seemed exasperated and upset that I would even dare to ask for any numbers in writing. I’m pretty sure she added an extra $15 to the total out of spite. When I returned with my cash to get the vehicle, I sat in the lobby for about 20 minutes before even being acknowledged, and even then she asked what I was here for and walked away to make some phone call without giving me any instructions, updates, or papers to fill out. Just left me standing at the window for another 5 minutes. I know that nobody likes being towed, but the least you could do is tell me what I have to do to get my damn car back. That seems so easy, right?

I honestly lost faith in humanity dealing with this company (specifically the unpleasant, under qualified, unprofessional obese woman I had the pleasure of dealing with in this office) as it became very apparent they are out to get you/your money and if you want your vehicle back not a thing you can do. They basically did everything except say "how much is your car to you? Because that's what it'll cost if you want it" Disregard any price given over the phone same day, or that it's less than a week before Christmas and that you've already dropped over $550 that day for their required updated registration, the hoops will keep coming so get ready to jump as they pick up your money. Stepps is a disgrace to this community.

My car got towed to one of there yards during an accident. I went there to claim and get my vehicle. I gave the my registration and proof of purchase of my van. They told me both were too old. I needed other proof the van was mine. I told them they could pull the vans records from dmv and see it was under my ownership. After speaking to several different office ladies and them speaking to their manager, they determine it was nothing they could do and refused to let me pay or take back my van. The van was wrecked and i had several belongings inside. They wouldnt even let me take my stuff, even though the papers inside the van had my name all over it. Not knowing what else to do...also knowing the can was almost totalled i just left it. 6 months later i was finally able to buy a new car. I went to the dmv to register my knew car...only to find out Stepps towing put a " wrecker lean" on my licenses. How can they refuse to give me my van but yet put a lean on my license...!? Once i contacted them i had to pay them $346 for them to remove it. They also "salvaged" van and all the belongings inside it. How can they so this to the person that they said over and over again, had no proof that van was her's. After i faught and faught with them for weeks. I would never recommend them to anyone. They dont care about your vehicles nor you. All they want is to make their next dollar.

I called Stepps to have my SUV towed to the dealership due to engine failure- was greeted by a very cheerful, kind, helpful woman on the phone who told me a driver would be out within an hour. The driver called within minutes to say he was on his way and when he showed up he was extremely courteous and professional. Thank you Stepps! It was a pleasure to do business with you! ~S. Patrick.
