Predatory, Dishonest, and Potentially Illegal Practices – Avoid This Towing Company
My experience with this towing company was extremely troubling. I was explicitly told that if I paid in cash, my vehicle would be released last. However, if I chose to pay with a debit card, the total charge would increase. This creates the appearance of coercion and raises serious legal and ethical concerns.
Businesses are expected to follow transparent pricing practices. Manipulating release times or inflating charges based on payment method is not only unprofessional, but it may also violate consumer protection laws. These tactics strongly suggest an attempt to pressure customers and potentially avoid proper financial reporting.
Consumers deserve fairness, honesty, and clear pricing — not intimidation or questionable fee structures.
I strongly advise others to proceed with extreme caution.
Excellent service. I needed my car towed to the shop, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. The driver, Dairon, was punctual, professional, and very careful while loading my vehicle. He took the time to explain everything and made sure my car was handled properly.
I would definitely use this towing company again and highly recommend their services. Reliable and efficient from start to finish.

Used for roadside assistance thru Honda. Dylan was great—very friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. Gave me a heads up that another tire was on its way out recommended it be replaced. He’s a true scholar and a gentleman!
Company illegally impounded my car, suggesting it had the wrong tag on it. I had to go to their Andersen Rd. lot and wait for people to arrive. Once I showed them the tag receipt, they suggested that it had no 2025 decal, of course the decal was properly adhered to the plate. No, "we're sorry," no apology, just rude employees.

This company is running a predatory towing operation and should be investigated by the BBB and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). They exploit customers with dishonest practices and illegal fees.
My vehicle was towed, and the company claimed the reason was an unauthorized "overnight stay." The reality is that the car was in the lot because it had a flat tire and was disabled—it could not be safely removed until assistance arrived. When I challenged their "overnight" claim, their own representative admitted the tow driver had "no idea how long the car had been on the property." They towed a visibly disabled vehicle without any verifiable evidence of a violation, simply to collect fees. This is the definition of predatory towing. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you are towed by them, document everything, take photos of the tow lot signage, and report them to the local authorities and the FDACS. They prey on people in vulnerable situations.
Giving a tow company a rating is like giving a thumbs up to a trash can, it’s pointless. However, all of the negative reviews about this specific company seem to be making traction and getting the attention from local law enforcement. I am really hoping that their investigation starts soon because Millennium is operating an unethical malpractice specializing in scam artistry. Here is what we went through:
- called their company to see if our car was there and we were told “no” for 3 days. On the 4th day, it’s magically in their parking lot and we owe $355. - mother in law goes to retrieve the vehicle on the 5th day and now we owe $525… - multiple employees were rude and a bit dismissive - we were told we couldn’t pay with cash and a card - we were told we needed additional info after asking what we needed and showing up to the location twice to pick it up. - we were charged the 10,000lb + gross weight and our vehicle weighs less than 4,000lbs - our property was held for 8 days - we were given the wrong info and wrong email at one point. The list goes on…. This is too many red flags to be making this up LOL so let’s keep the comments coming to put them out of business. People work hard to get a car, pay for all that comes with it, just for this tow company to treat us like an actual animal and scratch my car? Over charge me? And disrespect my mother in law? Something will change very soon.
BEWARE! You might be seeing dozens of reviews of the horrors of this place but please read mine for an updated experience for your safety. I will explain in detail why I put 2 stars and not 1, but there's crucial information you must know.
My car broke down in a parking lot and I had to leave to work, by the time I came back they towed it. I called the company and some woman answered the phone saying it would be 250$ with a 3% fee if I use Card instead of cash (because of processing fees). I explained to her that my car broke down but she said there was nothing they could do since the "owner" was not in town.
I go to the building and she shows up with what looks like her husband. This cold hearted being walks up to me and demanding 290 DOLLARS CASH. Excuse me?!
I immediately turned to her and she asks the monster why he is doing that and he starts speaking in Spanish to avoid me from listening to what they are saying. But I was not born stupid. I could tell he was scolding her and was trying to get her to change her mind.
He then changes his mind and demands 255$ cash. I told him I'm a student and I don't carry cash, and I told him I will pay the 3% fee. He pretended I had no idea what i was talking about and I turned to the woman and again he starts speaking in Spanish. She then says my father must give his card since his name is on the car title. I eventually agree to get my dad's card information but that monster STILL TELLS ME NO!
Unbelievable! He will lie and do anything to get cash! I was about to walk out and told them I will gather cash another day and guess what?
That same foul monster said "fine I will do it" and took the initial 255 with 3% fee. I appreciate the woman for standing her ground and trying to convince that brute to not up-charge us. That is the only reason I am not giving 1 stars.
But what did all of this take? A bunch of lies and merciless, cold heart that wanted to prey on innocent people. Be very careful if you go here to recieve your car. This is what the scum of society looks like. You will constantly notice them lie to you and it's not your imagination, I promise.
I appreciate all of the reviews that many have posted on this unprofessional and wrongful rows. This can not keep happening to good people. I am reaching out to 8 on your side, Florida department of agriculture and consumer services, my attorney and I hope the towing commission can assist in these matters. As a former military personal and disabled individual I WILL be filing complaints anywhere and everywhere I can. It has become my mission in life to reach out to everyone I can. My attorney will be filing a lawsuit due to myself being disabled and suffering distress over this matter. I don't want to rate this company. Let's be clear a $35.00 discount is not going out of their way. First, I should have never been towed. Second, they should have released my vehicle back to me at no cost. Thirdly, there ARE NO sign as they describe. As posted in other reviews they held my vehicle as hostage. If I did not pay that day I would have gotten another storage fee. I have taken photos where it truly shows that are in the wrong. This whole experience has caused great hardship. I look forward in presenting my case.
I had a flat and got stuck on the side of a busy road in rush hour traffic. Ruben was able to get to me within about 45 minutes. My car sits a little low so we had to jack it up to get the towbar under the bumper and Ruben took care of everything. Great Service!
This towing company is completely unprofessional and untrustworthy. They towed my car simply because it had a flat tire. According to my community’s rules, only inoperable vehicles should be towed — a car with a flat tire is not inoperable. My car was fully functional, parked in visitor parking for only three hours, and could easily be driven after adding air or changing the tire.
By towing it, this company acted without proper authorization and in direct contradiction to the community’s guidelines. Even the association representative was shocked at their actions. This feels less like towing and more like stealing.
To make matters worse, their customer service is unacceptable. The representative on the phone was rude, cut the call twice, and refused to give me the location of my car. This lack of professionalism shows they should not be trusted with such responsibility.
We are filing a formal complaint with the city and sheriff against this company. I strongly urge everyone to avoid them — they create unnecessary stress and take advantage of residents.
Terrible Experience – Do Not Trust This Company This towing company is completely unprofessional and untrustworthy. They took my car even though it only had a flat tire and I never gave them any authorization to tow it. There was absolutely no reason for them to remove my vehicle, and yet they did it anyway. This kind of behavior shows they cannot be trusted. If a company is willing to tow cars without permission, imagine what else they might do. Save yourself the stress and avoid this business at all costs. I would give zero stars if I could.
He towed my car only because the tire was flat, the rule of the community of apartment owners says that the cars that will be towed are inoperable cars with flat tires, not a car that only has a flat tire, the car had been parked for two hours, in the visitor parking the car is 100% operable only put air in the tire or change the tire, he is practically stealing cars without authorization, does not understand that the association of my community works for us the apartment owners, even the person in charge of the association is surprised by the poor work of this company.
And she is also very professional when answering people's calls. She cut the call twice and didn't provide the address of where the car was located. This person doesn't even have the education to speak. We are filing a complaint with the city and sheriff to denounce this company.
Had a dead car battery and all dealerships were closed at the Target parking lot. Could not see a tow number anywhere and Target customer service advised to leave a note on my windshield explaining that Im having my car towed to a dealership first thing the next morning so my car does not get towed overnight. I came back 8:00AM the next day to my car gone anyway and the only tow sign in the entire parking lot was at the very end at keke's. When asked, the employee admitted himself that he could see the note we left behind. These people are scum stacking fees on top of fees to have your car released. Thank God I had my spanish-speaking girlfriend with me because the only english speaking person there was on speaker through a phone with poor audio. I had to pay $300 (without a storage fee that we had to argue our way out of) to get it released the very next morning. They also claimed that there was an $8.70 fee for using my card, but when I checked how I was charged it was through paypal. Thanks for making my life harder, you guys are evil predatory people
Left my car in parking lot of restaurant/bar and took a Lyft home yesterday to avoid drinking and driving. Returned to pick up my car at 8:25 AM and this company had towed it. Nowhere on the sign (attached picture) does it say no overnight parking. Also I am pretty sure Tampa has a specific ordinance against towing companies doing this.
I had a flat tire & I needed a tow to the dealership. Joshua came to my rescue. He was knowledgeable about my car & he handled it care as if it was his own. He arrived at the dealership & dropped my car off safely for service. I would highly recommend this tow service.
This company has the rudest and aggressive employees. They caused damages to my towed vehicle and forced to sign a paper work voiding the disclosing of the damages. This is against the Florida law, which I was not aware of. Please inform yourself before you show up to retrieve your vehicle. Demand the charges for the towing are posted clearly at their business. I'm honestly surprised at the number of bad reviews, however I personally had a great experience with a driver and tow truck operator by the name of Shad. Shad arrived on time, delivered my SUV securely to the mechanic, and even provided an accurate diagnosis of the problem my vehicle had. He was incredibly friendly and professional throughout the whole interaction, and the cost of the tow was half that of a local competitor. Once more, I can't speak to the owner of this company or other operators, but if you have the chance to have Shad service your vehicle, he was awesome!
Predatory towing practices. Towed my car after my temp tag expired over the weekend from my apartment complex. We all know there is a grace period from law enforcement and anyone utilizing reasonable judgment on these situations. Unfortunately, it seems Milennium is just looking for a quick check to scam people. Not surprising considering that’s how they make their check. No wonder people don’t like towing companies.
As a fellow wrecker driver I am disgusted by this company. No straps. A non working tow light on the back. His reasoning being it’s an “impound tow” sorry sir that does not put you above federal law. Trespass towing again does not put you above federal law. I will be contacting my fellow friends on the Florida towing commission along with state police and dot to provide picture and videos. I will say they did stop after running from us in the parking lot. I was honking and flashing my lights while still in the restaurant parking lot. Regardless of this I hope for the meantime your drivers are safe and watch their 6 on roads and highways.
This company towed my vehicle from a common parking lot. There are three restaurants right next to each other. The parking area isn't segmented in a way you would assume you could only park in certain areas for each restaurant. When one restaurant closed, they towed my vehicle and and others even though I was still inside the other restaurant. This is absolutely predatory towing. When I was getting my vehicle, their printer wouldn't work so they struggled to make copies of my license causing delays. I tried to pay with a credit card, but the "boss" couldn't be contacted so I had to pay cash. Of course, they had no change ability so instead of paying a $167.00 fee, I had to pay $180.00. Please avoide this company if you can.
Parked for 1 hour at the pool parking lot at midnight to help my girlfriend who was not feeling well, but the boss didn’t care at all about anything I said and just said that it was not his problem. The lack of humanity in the American business does not surprise me, they want your money more than anything not caring about no one’s feelings.
“No parking overnight” means no parking for the whole night.
Messed my lawn up, towed it off my property after being told “just don’t be in the street” , and on top of this whole situation , cash and items we’re stolen, my car was on camera at my house , items went missing at pickup , these guys are weird and don’t provide any communication / compensation for questions ,extra fees, and stolen items.
Predatory Towing. Was at my 24 hour gym from 4:05 until 5:05 AM. They towed me from a legal spot and did not notify the sheriff office. When I saw my car gone I called the police thinking my car was stolen. They had no clue until I located my car from my App. Once they saw the satellite view of the location they realized my car was towed. Once I got there they told me it was towed because it was parked overnight. I have both video evidence and my gym scan showing how long I was there. $220 dollars. *******Update to review***** The Bearss Plaza manager called me one day after I wrote her to make it right. Actually extremely apologetic so my gratitude to her. That being said... If you are at the 24 hour gym in extreme early morning, park directly in front of the gym so there is no gray area.******
Original ETA was 2hrs and ended up being 4hrs to have my car towed when I called to check status the person from MILLENNIUM TRANSPORT AND TOWING stated that they didn't have enough drivers, so why pick up the service call from Mazda Road Assistance if they don't have enough drivers pass it then to a more reliable company. Would not recommend them at all. That why they have a 2 1/2 stars
