Great Experience Despite the Circumstances!
My son's e-bike was impounded and held at Denning's Towing, and we were finally able to retrieve it today. I initially called on Saturday, but since a manager wasn’t onsite, the staff couldn’t confirm which documents were required to prove ownership. However, they did make an effort to contact the manager for clarification, which I appreciated.
When I called back on Sunday, I spoke with Chelle—she immediately knew who I was and had the answers I needed! Although we weren’t able to retrieve the bike on Saturday due to the uncertainty around documentation, Denning’s Towing made it right.
Chelle was professional, helpful, and very accommodating. Once we arrived, the process of providing proof of ownership was quick, straightforward, and—pleasantly—much less expensive than we expected.

I need an option fo -5 stars to rate this service.I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received regarding the towing of my vehicle. When I called to make arrangements, I was told I could pick up my car the next morning, but no mention was made of a 'cash-only' payment policy. When came to pick up my car next day morning. The lady front told me they o ly accept cash, also blammed me for not listening ( which I was never told over phone), I had to make an unnecessary trip to the bank, and only upon my return was I told that debit cards were accepted. The communication from your staff was unhelpful and led to a great deal of frustration and waste of time time. Try finding someone who can do a better job.
Seriously, ive never had a better towing experience than this towing service. They were super friendly, super fast and on time! They have a bunch of equipment to get your car out of sticky situations SAFELY!
They're horribly rude and towed my car illegally . The sign for the parking lot that says toaway zone was facing an alley that's not even connected to the lot . I had to pay $277 cash to get my car back. And they said, " you should know the rules "and do not take any accountability for their signs not being in the right place or visible . Very shady business and rude disrespectful staff. Really disgusting people
Don't consider this company for any towing needs. They claim to serve the Riverview area but says they only serve Tampa and they don't serve Riverview. False advertisement this company needs to update their website about what areas they serve.
Denning road service came to me through my insurance, Allstate. The gentleman that jumped my battery was professional, knowledgeable, polite and kind. The kind of guy you'd like as your neighbor!
I will absolutely use them again. They were here 30 minutes before the anticipated arrival time. I was overjoyed! I just wish I would have caught his name.
I called the towing company about my car being towed even though it was in the correct spot that I pay $135 monthly. The woman on the phone immediately starts yelling at me and gave me soo much attitude. I don’t normally ever write a bad review for a place but this service was so poor and rude I felt I needed to share. Horrible service!!!!
Staff are aggressive in there tone however I understand it's just business. Just wish they could be a more firm and not aggressive. However everything was handled in a pro way. Thank you for your service.
EXTREMELY RUDE, NO CONSIDERATION FOR YOUR TIME, HOSTILE AND DISTASTEFUL. No idea why ANY COMPLEX would want to work with this company!!! My appointment was for 12:00PM to pick up my car when I called at 11:20AM. It’s now 12:15 I’m still waiting after getting an inconsiderate call back from a lady telling me to “stop blowing her phone up every 10 mins because the driver is on his way”. So first I have to make an appointment to pick up my car, then I have to wait 20 minutes outside in the heat? And I have to deal with your BS on the phone too? If I could rate you 0 stars, I would.
I paid for parking at the Westshore Grand Hotel long term parking and I place my confirmation number in the window. The towing service still towed my truck for no apparent reason along with 9 other people who also paid for parking at this location. This is definitely a scam and bad business! They are rude and very disrespectful when you contact them to get your vehicle. I will be contacting a lawyer!
I was upset my car got towed but i chaulk it up to my fault. I was able to call n resolve my situation n quickly get my car back. Thanks to the folks at Dennings Towing for being very helpful in explaining how I got towed in the first place. A word to the wise, watch where you park because getting your car towed is not cheap n creats a huge inconvenience ....
We got into an accident during a Girl's Trip and we were all so scared. The tow truck came very quickly. The lady I spoke to, Melissa was so sweet and helpful. She helped us to secure another rental car and at a great price. The driver waited and helped us get all of our luggage into an Uber that took us to the rental car place. This accident could have ruined our trip but thanks to everyone at Dennings, it was only a minor setback and we were able to still have a great weekend.
We had some issues with our van and Joel (owner) took great care of us. He made sure we were all safe and helped us find alternative transportation. He was very professional and pleasant.
I went in to return my visitor parking pass and by the time I got out they TOWED my car and refused to stop. People were even asking if that was my car that got towed, and were disgusted by it. Now I have to take it up with the HOA. Disgusting people.
Edited due to their response: the HOA is reviewing my complaint as my car had been there for 4 hours with a registered parking pass! Even if you were making rounds you would have seen that in the quick 10 minutes it took to turn it in. They are reviewing the security camera footage. So no, you’re just trying to make a quick buck. And Dennis Towing I did reach out to you directly as I watched my car being towed away and you said oh well it’s 185 to get it out. Please stop with the fake apologies
The apartment building I live at unfortunately uses the company for their parking garage. Not sure what the point is because the never tow when people call. There is cars over the line all the time, people call but they don’t come and tow the car. Same with cars that don’t have passes or are in handicap spots. I called on Saturday night and the women gave me attitude stating the car would be towed on Sunday. Never showed up. I’m going to suggest to the complex a company that actually does their job.

The worst. Rude when they even pick up the phone. You can’t pick up your car after 6pm Monday thru Saturday but they actively tow 24/7. What sense does that make? You got money to pay ppl to tow cars but not enough money to have someone sit at a front desk to let ppl PAY to get their cars back lol I don’t understand why ppl use this company or call for them. They charge 80$ an hour too so if you get towed on Saturday , good luck with that hefty bill on Monday
Had the misfortune of dealing with these crooks when I was towed late at night after my shift. They towed me for not having my parking pass on display which I can begrudgingly understand. My issue was that when I called to find out what I had to do next, the lady I spoke with told me I had to set up an appointment to go pick up my car. First of all, my car hadn't even been in their possession for an hour at this point. I just barely missed the tow truck according to one on my coworkers who said they saw a car getting hooked up but didn't know it was mine. If I'm going to be inconvenienced this late at night then I expect to swiftly be able to pick up my car.
Next, I had to call an Uber to take me to their office by 1:00am. I got dropped off at 12:30am and waited around for 20 minutes before a tow truck driver pulled up and I explained my situation and that I wanted to pay with my card. He says "Well you're here very early but we only take cash, they should've told you on the phone". Well, I certainly didn't have an extra $248 handy. So by now I had wasted 2 hours, $15 on Uber, and missed out on sleep before an early morning shift. So at this point, I didn't plan on getting my car back any time soon. I called to explain I'd be back later.
Since they charge extra money if you come after 5pm, I arranged to leave work early and ask for my employer's assistance in handling this since they own the lot where Dennings tows out of. They said to ask Dennings to consider lowering the price to $180 and they could cover it. Once I got to the towing office, I mentioned this and the lady looked at me like I was crazy. She said "We can't do that, the price is what it is." So much for being business partners. Needless to say, you should try to avoid any interaction with these folks since you are highly likely to have a lot of your time wasted.

Would 100% recommend. My experience with this company was fantastic. My wheel fell completely off after having 4 of my lug nuts stolen. The driver Joel was very professional, very nice and courteous. Joel was extremely helpful going above and beyond just a tow. I had my elderly father with me and Joel was very patient with him as well. Customer service was top notch, I’m extremely grateful for everything.

I see a lot of negative reviews and I don't understand why.
I had nothing but a great experience. They towed my car after a very bad car accident. There were actually two representatives, one for my car and one for the other driver. Both were very nice and friendly and even asked if I was physically okay.
I am working with my insurance company and called twice with questions and both a male and a female that I spoke to were very friendly and patient with my questions.
When I went in person to release my car to my insurance company and get items out of it, the woman was very friendly and helpful.
I had nothing but a positive experience from beginning to end.
This was the WORST experience I’ve had with a towing company. The “business card” that they gave me at the time of the accident doesn’t have operation hours on it..just a phone number and email. I came to pick my car up same day around 8:30 pm and they were closed. The so called manager *the guy who picked up my car* was supposed to mention hours of operation to me at the time of the accident AND when I called him beforehand to retrieve my car. There was NOTHING said to me about what times I could come get my car or when they closed. They also didn’t mention that 6 hours after they’ve had your car, that it’s considered one full day, and your charged for that. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. The customer service is EXTREMELY POOR, and the communication is horrible. TPD definitely needs to find another towing company to represent them bc this one is not it!!
Poor customer service skills. Lady that answers your call is rude with an attitude. Got hung up on. I got there 10 mins before my appointment time and was told driver will be there in 5 minutes. When I called 10 minutes later, she got rude bc I was calling at my appointment time. Needless to say, if my Lyft driver didn’t wait 20 mins til the driver got there, we would’ve gotten soaked from the rain and stuck waiting outside their gate. No apologies were given for being late or for their customer service being rude. Would not use them even if they were the last towing company in town
Look, these guys came on time, and performed a quick and professional service for the advertised rate. They were also very receptive and even tried to show me a potential repair shortcut! They were empathetic as I vented about my earlier negative experience with another towing company (see TIA Towing reviews). Accountability works both ways, gentlemen. Horrible human beings, yes, they are the bottom most feeders of the planet, they have a very bad attitude. I got my car tinted and the tinting guy removed the permit sticker and placed it inside my car dashboard. My car still had the access card attached to the mirror visible from the front windshield ( the rear view mirror). Apparently these people stalk the apartment complex after 12 am and they primarily feed on this income. I had to pay 180$ to get my car back and that was for morning 8:00 am, few hours after they towed it. The big fat lady rudely said it was cash only, while I see that it can be paid in any form according to the Hillsborough county towing regulations. They are just few miles away from Lantower Westshore. The company is definitely contracted by the apartment complex although the community authority never admit that. I am certain that this is an arrangement in which both parties benefit. These people have a list of cars that have access to be parked inside the apartment complex. My car is registered and has access to the community parking. In spite of this they tow away vehicles just for money. That is their primary motive.
My son was visiting a friend at The Villages of Tampa complex. This company is contracted by the complex to tow from there if any vehicle has all 4 tires parked in the road after midnight. Apparently they stalk the complex because our vehicle was towed almost immediately after the stroke of 12. They charge us $165 to get our vehicle back and did not provide us with any proof that the truck was parked illegally. When my son, and subsequently myself, called the number to obtain information we were greeted by a vile woman who was clearly on a power trip. She initially stated she would release the vehicle to my son if he "came down there without an attitude" and then used the same verbiage to me while telling me he would no longer be allowed to retrieve the vehicle due to "my attitude"...because I dared to ask questions. Beware of the Villages of Tampa and of this towing company as it is clear they have an arrangement in which I am certain they both benefit from.
