This place is terrible. They told me one price over the phone for a part and I said ok. When I got there they hadnt even pulled the part and raised the price another $50. They dont stand on their word and the manager is very rude and can careless about the customers. I recommend Ben's truck parts which is right down the street. Stay away from here
Recently purchased a service truck. Was told it would do highway speeds but it didn't. So I was stuck trying to change rear gears in my freightliner fl70. I reached out to 15 companies looking for a match. About 2 weeks after I started I get an email from Jeremy. Said he found one. Honestly I was dubious. Said it was in Ohio and was exactly what I needed. 3.90 with a locker. Shipping was $160... to me. It showed up with a brand new seal, nut, and washer ready to go. The gears were like new and it was clean enough to eat off of it. Had a coat of primer on it even. Instalation was easy and it performed perfectly. Dropped off the core yesterday in Tampa. Took no time at all and people were just awesome. Saw a massive warehouse full of transmissions and center sections. If you need truck parts check here. Really saved my bacon in a big way. This company is thieves, I returned a piece because they gave it to me wrong, it was not what I ordered, when I took it to return it they took 183 dollars from me because the justification was for lost time according to the seller, theft from my face
This company is dishonest, rude, and unreliable.Let me start first with the lack of customer service from Christopher Brown, who, after expressing my concerns, showed no sympathy whatsoever and kept cutting me off while I was trying to speak. It all started when a front-rear differential was ordered, which cost about $4K plus labor, which ended up being around $5,000. In less than 1 week, as I was doing one of my deliveries, the truck started to grin heavily, so I took the truck back to the mechanic. It turns out that during the rebuilding process of the part, a bolt was left loose, causing the differential part to be completely useless. Since it had been less than a week and the part was still under warranty, LKQ ordered a new part, which took over 2 weeks to arrive. Mind you, these were two weeks without making any income. The part was then installed, and I ended up paying again for labor costs in the amount of $600.00. Since the part was initially defective, I felt I shouldn't have had to pay for labor again, as this was neither my fault nor that of the mechanic. I called the shop and spoke to Christoper, who, as previously mentioned, expressed being bothered by my request to get reimbursed. He took my information and stated he would put a request with Joe Vargas and that I would hear back from him. To this day, I still have not been contacted by anyone from the shop, and it wasn't until I got a call from the mechanic letting me know LKQ had contacted him, advising that there would not be a refund. This is actually the first time I have given any company a bad review there is always room for human errors, however, I feel that the way this was handled was completely dishonest. I hope my review serves as consumer awareness and also as a way the company to treat their customers with fairness.
Bough a large fuel tank site unseen and everything was as described shipping was fast and Tony is the best he even followed up weeks later great guy and customer service!
The costumer service was excellent, so far one of the best places out there, BUT someone who is on charge of making the labels with the address mess out putting a non existing address getting my ECU lost. I went to the store they told me they would fight that with the delivery provider but a couple months lather UPS or FEDEX doesn’t want to pay for the lost ECU and now the store is trying to charge me the lost ECU. Very unprofessional, very disappointing behavior of going after me, who did everything 100% right and provide the right address. If one person/company is to blame is either the delivery provider or the person who put the wrong address, not me.

Let me tell you, I just had the most amazing experience ever! My husband and I were driving down to Miami and our truck broke down in Tampa. We were desperate and we were given the blessing of meeting Paul Drake at LKQ Heavy Truck. He got us the part we needed quickly and affordably and turned a very stressful situation into one that I can compare to after I gave birth to my daughter. Yes I felt the same amount, If not more joy walking out of that store then when I gave birth my kid! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - Purchased a rebuilt transmission ($2250.00) for a Semi that we were bringing back into service in August. The transmission worked less than a week in the truck. Even with the 12 month warranty on rebuilt transmissions, they won't do anything but offer another transmission at a "discount." DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY because their warranty isn't worth the paper its written on. Have to go to the credit card company to file a dispute.

I bought a $4,500 transmission for my dump truck here and less than one year later it stopped working. They did not stand behind their one year warranty. At first, they told us that we put the wrong fluid in it but when we quoted the transmission book produced by Mack that we followed to a tee, they changed their story. Then they said we must have run it out of oil. That is not true either. They said the gears were discolored and that's how they knew it ran without oil. So we were stuck having to eat a $4,500 defective transmission plus the cost of labor to pull it and replace it. The mechanic that repaired the transmission said the only thing wrong with it was the shifting fork was bad. I am posting this in hopes that my story will help someone else who thinks that buying from LKQ is a smart decision. They will not stand behind their warranty and if they give you the same song and dance that they gave us I hope you fight tooth and nail to make them replace it. I run a small business and my husband recently spend a week in the hospital and was diagnosed with cancer so I don't have time for the runaround. For my sake, fight them.
