INCREDIBLE!! That’s what the service was!
There are a ton of tourists in Florida and I’m one. Driving your tired car thousands of miles and noticing noises that weren’t previously there, causes concerns you don’t need on your mind- especially when your local shop is now 2,000 miles away and you’re afraid your wheel is going to fall off! Or, at best, being stranded along a highway on the return home trip!
After waiting for the weekend to pass, I stopped in on a Monday morning first thing and was greeted by Amy, who was able to get me in by Thursday- any great repair shop is always busy!
Fortunately, I had friends who I could ride with around the area. With no hurrying on my agenda, I picked the car up on the following Friday and was amazed at the fairness of the price and the friendliness of the service!
I was expecting double the price and I was and still am, amazed at the outcome!
No one wants to do repairs, but they WILL BE NEEDED!
Stop in here if you need work done on your vehicle! You will not regret it!!
Old school auto repair shop; honest, nice, and reasonable rates. Nobody likes to have car problems when away from home, but here I was visiting from Orlando when my radiator fan and engine temp sensor began malfunctioning. With Gulf Coast Auto having the best reviews I took my vehicle in for an estimate because I didn’t want to risk driving home. They knew exactly what was wrong, fixed it in less than 24 hours for an incredibly reasonable and fair rate. If you need auto repairs, Gulf Coast Auto is the place to go.
I was stranded on St George Island from Indiana, I had my 2013 Raptor towed to Gulf Coast, rear end loose, dropped the drive shaft and broke the transfer case. I had to be back home in 4 days. The owners were so helpful no parts available from Ford but these people are great. They repaired enough to get me home instead of waiting for parts for 30 days. They saved my Butt. Smart knowledgeable, former drag racers great people and the prices were WAY fair. I highly recommend. 5 Stars!
We were here on vacation and our tire pressure light came on. We called this shop, was told to come in. We got there and they had the nail out and plugged in 10 min! Charge for the work was amazing!! The whole staff were very friendly!!
Agents at Gulf Coast Auto parts and service are very kind and helpful. They assisted us to help a stranded motorist. With this kind considerate assistance we will purchase all our parts from you. (Another local nameless auto parts store was not helpful or friendly)

My AC compressor went out on the trip from South Carolina to Saint George back in May not knowing anywhere to go for service a patron at a grocery store Suggested Gulf Coast and what a stroke of luck for us..Great price and 2 year written warranty to boot wish these super kind people the best for working us in on short notice and doing a great job
We were on vacation here in FL. Amy was so kind to work us in so my truck could be evualiated quickly as we head home Saturday. I highly recommend them.
Cannot say enough good things. Desperate times call for desperate solutions. However, this shop did nothing to take advantage of the situation and were more than fair with their charges. Nice, honest people. Highly recommend!!
We were camping in the area and our front drivers wheel started making a horrible sound. Amy and Robert were able to see us the same day we went to talk to them and fixed our problem ! Highly recommend the business, kind , knowledgeable and willing to take care of our truck on short notice despite their busy day !
I have been to Gulf Coast Auto many times and ALWAYS get great service! They are super reasonable, professional, and kind. They know what they are doing. I am happy to recommend them, and I feel blessed to have them nearby.
Next time you "try" to repair a vehicle, you should bolt down the parts you install. Due to your negligence, we broke down 4 hours away from your sad excuse of a repair shop. The guy cursed at us when we called and he denied his mistake, way to take accountability for your actions (or lack thereof) stay clear away from this joker. They are a bunch of scam artists.
Had an issue with my car battery called and they had the correct one I needed, went over and Robert checked my old one first to be sure. Changed out my battery and had me on my way in less then 15 minutes. They are very helpful, friendly and honest. I would definitely recommend Gulf Coast auto parts for what ever you need to stay on the road. Good people. Thank Y'all very much.
We went on vacation and our brake booster/master cylinder stopped working. Gulf Coast Auto was able to get us into their shop and fix our car before we had to return home. We are very grateful they were able to do the repairs and the price was affordable. Highly recommend!
After finding one tire on our RV looking a bit flat while on St. George Island, we were told to head over to Gulf Coast Auto Parts in Eastpoint. They took us in right away and found that two of our tires were shredding. They switched them out right away without pushing us to switch out the other two tires which are in perfect shape. They were very fairly priced, and we would definitely use their services again if we needed to.
Our check engine light came on while on St. George Island. We made it here and Robert made time to help us right away. Wonderful service. Thank you so much! I would absolutely come back here.

They're the best shop ever! I had my 2006 Toyota Matrix towed over there yesterday around mid-afternoon due to recurrent electrical system issues which, at that point, meant that I could get it started with my new jumpstarter box — but it stopped running in a minute or two. I was thinking that meant the alternator was shot given that it still had the original one after > 195K mi. and the battery's nearly new.
Much to my surprise, I got a call about 24 hours after I left my car there saying it was ready. They didn't have time to look at it yesterday but agreed with me about the diagnosis, so they ordered an alternator last night which saved a lot of time today. I must say that I was surprised and pleased that my car was ready within 24 hours. And the price was extremely reasonable, especially compared with what I saw online from elsewhere. Robert and Amy are the best, that's for sure..... although I kind of hate to write a good review because they're already so busy! 🤣 👍
Amy and crew always treat me great. I am a bit skeptical when it comes to mechanical work on my car but Gulf Coastal has my trust. I brought my car in thinking it needed a brake job. I came back to pick it up and was told, after inspection, that it didn't need brakes and that there was no charge. I have since taken both my vehicles here for work and am pleased with the work and price everytime. Oh, and they do the job when they say they'll do it which seems to be uncommon in the panhandle.
I cannot recommend this business enough! We were down at St. George island on vacation and had a serious issue with our brakes. I took the car in the day before we had to leave. We had been on SGI for 2 weeks, and ready to head home, when my battery died. Got a jump, drove to GC Auto Parts, and they had me on the road in less than 30 minutes! Friendly folks, great service and prices. I recommend going here first. You won't be disappointed.
Great service! The best part is that they were very honest. They could of repaired our truck and charged us for new parts but they didn’t. They were great in letting us know it was just bolts that had loosened up. Great people.

This is a great place to take your car to be fixed. I was staying at St. George Island and my brakes started making a grinding noise. They were able to fix them quickly! They are also friendly, have great prices and I would definitely take my car there again if needed.
Amy and Robert are the best. We were visiting from out of town when our tow car brakes froze up. They ordered the parts and had us on the road the next day. Very reasonable and honest. Hard to find these days. THANKS!
Robert and Amy are two of the nicest most friendly people I've ever met. They fit our motorhome into their busy schedule and had it running smoothly and back on the road in little time at a very fare price.
