Omg I found an insane amount of christmas lights in a storage unit in was cleaning out. I've never tried to scrap and everyone working there was so nice and walked me through the process. Even took everything out of my car. I couldn't believe I got $65 for them. I will be a returning customer. You should too.

Have been scrapping metal here for over 8 years. Owner and his employees are great. Always help unload and sort the metals appropriately. It’s a high pace/dangerous environment, so I don’t expect smiles and white-glove service, but always seem to get it. My scrap always comes here.
So I would love to know how at 50 cent a pound. We have 200 pounds that comes to 50 bucks? These guys are such a scam and pocketing money. I would suggest anyone to sell scrap to this place clearly they don't know how to add
They robbed me twice switched tickets and stole 100 dollars. So I decided to go back and they did it again this time over 100 dollars. This place is cursed do not enter there shop or you could be in danger
Worst place to ever waste time at bad attitudes from everyone there is just waiting to short you picky about every thing plain and simple if you to get negative vibes and lie balled your gonna fit in just fine don't be fooled they will pencil whip your pockets for every penny they can forget nickle and dime copper pennys is hard just a horrible BH business man all they got is location not
I wish I could leave negative stars. Drove here after checking here to see when they close and got there at 4:27. Well these RUDE people told us they close at 4:30 and ran us off. I'll sooner go broke than to take anything here ever again. Oh and as we drove out was given another middle finger as I read the sign which says they are open until 5pm.
Hands down the best recycling center in Jax. They are fast, every one of the employees seemed like they wanted to be there, we’re friendly and I wasn’t made to feel like my business was an inconvenience like the experiences I’ve had elsewhere in town. Overall a fantastic experience. They will have all of my future business.
I have been taking my aluminum cans and other metals from my various house renovations for many years to JAX Scrap Metal Recycling. These men saved me today. I can't thank them enough for their quick action and kindness they showed. I got into a situation and they knew just what to do. I was freaking out and they were calm and extremely understanding. Not only is this an amazing business but it's also run by incredible individuals.
today was my first day going to this recycle center. Very friendly staff with a fast and efficient way of getting their customers in and out. I was paid a fair price and was even offered a beverage while I was in line for the scale. I would definitely recommend Jax scrap metal recycling
The worst part about scrapyards, is lines and employee incompetence. But at Jax scrap metal there is none of that. Every time I show up, it’s weigh here and sign there, and I’m gone. 5/5 stars
When you turn in scrap they will match other places that pay higher. The staff are great, they work hard and get you in and out in no time. They offer you soda or water if you are thirsty and become a regular customer...I used to drive out to Lane avenue and I live in Arlington. Money is good there but like I said they match higher prices for your continued service. I highly recommend going to jax scrap metal on Beach boulevard. I give 5 ⭐'s and 2 's up. You won't regret going there
Took in for the first time a bunch of project scrap and old stuff around the garage. I had no idea what I was doing. I expressed that when I arrived and they were happy to help. They could have really screwed me but the guy at the scale was very forward about it about said I'd make more if sime items were seperated more and i ended up with 50lbs at a 1$ per with those. Could have easily got me at the cheaper point and I wouldn't have known it.

This guy will rip you off worse than your ex wife...small yard =small prices...just another short stopper for CMC... where he "Has" to sell his metal ...pay you a nickel& sell for a quarter! ..ur yard speaks for itself..Trash!!!!---(Round 2).... I'm sure you do have bills to pay! or you'll know about ex-wives if you don't keep that Mercedes benz note paid on time!!...And plz enlighten us to whom you sell ur metal to? CMC has the keys to the port...penny hustler!

I highly doubt they are paying "top dollar" but it's hard to say since scrap yards don't publish prices. The lot is very small and can easily get jammed up.
Great place with really nice people. They were very helpful & patient with all my questions. Plus offered me some water afterwards, bonus. I will return here again.
Ok so I've read the negative reviews. I personally have not had a negative experience at this place the 3 or 4 times I have been there , but I was told last time that the few steel metals I was trying to recycle were not accepted. I just left the 20+ lbs. there for them to use. Makes me wonder? But I will still give them the benefit of the doubt.
Fairly happy with my experience here, they even offered me a drink after we finished checking in all my brass and steel. Pretty good prices and they seem really honest with not shorting you with tare weights ( I think I spelt that right ) I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place, the only down side is it is rather small, so I could see if it's busy it being annoying to turn in scrap. Very convenient location and I will definitely be returning again.
Staff / employees are great. The owner finally showed his true colors, extremely rude. I'll never go back, I wish his staff the best luck but maybe his ego a little too high. Plenty other yards out there that I give business to
So the downside to this scrap yard is when you are calling around looking for the best return on your scrap metal every other scrap yard in town I deal with(and I'm not saying I deal with them all, I do business with about 4 other places) I never bring in less than 100lbs of copper #1,#2 and 100lbs of brass and this is the least I've ever scrapped due to what I do for a living. Their answer is always "it depends on what you have. I will have to take a look at it" knowing If you make the drive chances are you are just going to scrap at their yard. But they do work in a sufficient manner and come out to your vehicle to help you with your scrap. They have beaten the competitor atleast once, but I can't figure the numbers until I ASK FOR A RECEIPT OF THE BREAKDOWN OF THE SCRAP METAL. In their defense They have given me the explanation that they will not give top dollar to the crackheads that come with 10lb of crappy scrap.
So I know the owner will read this. So I ask Please can you set up some kind of database or a membership club to provide pricing for those who do business and always come with nothing less than a 100lbs for each type of scrap. Because I wanna give you my business but the unknown factor of pricing can be a repellent for good customer's.

I own a computer repair business and have a lot of computer scrap from time to time! Went over the guys on Phillips Highway just to get a hard time from the staff and got low pay. This time I went to Scrap Aluminum Processors where the guys were prompt to get me unloaded and very nice even the Owner came and greeted me and offered me a cold drink while my stuff was being unloaded. I would not go anywhere else but to Scrap Aluminum Processors. The other guys are only a few blocks away on Phillips Highway but will not use them again because of 0 Customer Service and Pay out is Low! The guys at Scrap Aluminum Processors have my business from now ON! Real Talk from a real customer!

Not only was the owner rude and because I showed up at 3:52 pm he got onto me also he was drinking a beer while operating forklift.to top it off they are rip offs $4.50 for a truckload! Get real people go to Phillips hwy I went here as a last resort and I will say I don't care how bad I need money I will never go there again in my life! I did not show up at 4:15 I was there at 3:52 waiting. The at 4:15 when I finally was able to unload all he did was yell. Sorry it's not my fault I was there waiting . I went there not as a last resort for money but time so thank you again sir for showing your true colors.Also everyone I've spoken to says the same thing I did. Also you have not been in business that long maybe 8 yrs off beach Blvd total
Everytime I take time out of my schedule to haul scrap here they have an issue with taking scrap. I've been turned away twice because no container available. Thier property is not that easly accessible and then the attitude. I came back the first time i was rejected and seemed like i gave more than i recieved. But this last time was the owner had horrible response to my dissatifaction with thier service, said i need to come earlier in the day. Well i have a business to run and can't perform my business with his lack of service to my needs during his supposely business hours of operation. Thier operation isn't consistent enough and I cant afford to waste my time & gas on his apparently disorganization of running this business.
I am helping my Grandmother clean out my Grandfathers shed and the guys have been so helpful! They have gone to the extent of explaining to me what all to bring and who to call when I can't scrap anymore. I am extremely gratful to this company for helping me through this process. Also, they gave me top price than anyone around.. That helps too! I will continue to go here.
