Great work. They took care of me. I hit a low branch in Jacksonville Florida on a Saturday. They took me in ask me what I needed and less than three hours it was done. They also gave me a great price for the work.
GF Truck and Trailer came out early in the morning and handled a complicated electrical issue on my 2015 Freightliner Cascadia (DD15 / DT12) The tech quickly diagnosed a databus / wiring problem related to heat damage in the engine bay, explained everything clearly, and got straight to work. What impressed me most was the professionalism and troubleshooting ability. They repaired the damaged wiring properly, secured and routed everything the right way, and made sure the truck was safe and running smoothly before leaving. Communication was solid, response time was fast, and the quality of work was top-tier. This is the kind of company you want when you’re dealing with a serious breakdown and need it done right the first time. I had one of the worst repair experiences with GF Truck & Trailer Repair. We called ahead to let them know our front blower motor had stopped working and that we needed it replaced. They told us to come in and mentioned a $100 diagnostic fee, which we agreed to. My driver arrived around 1 PM and was the only truck there, yet they kept him until about 30 minutes before closing. Then they suddenly presented us with an invoice for $1,229.80 just to replace a blower motor. Since they had already removed the part and told us that even if we refused the repair, we would still be charged $650 for labor, we had no choice but to accept the job. They basically trapped us into paying their inflated price. When we asked how they came up with $650 in labor for a job that takes about 15 minutes, the lady at the front desk said they “don’t charge per hour, they charge by the job,” which makes absolutely no sense and gives them full freedom to overcharge however they want. To make things even worse, they only accept EFS or Zelle, which should be a red flag for any legitimate repair shop. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews — this place is a complete scam. They take advantage of drivers and force them into overpriced repairs. Stay far away from GF Truck & Trailer Repair.

Please don’t look at the 5 start reviews, take your money, somewhere else or call around and check a price. I called this morning at 8 A.M. I asked them if they can do a inspection for my trailer. They told me that they will do it and they will inspect my brakes and tires. Everything for Just. $99 when I came there a lady with a blue eye, Hispanic call me inside the Office. She told me $1200 Just to take my tires out so they can look at the bearings and Break, I said no. I went somewhere else. I’m will post a picture of the proof where I went get it check out everything. $200 I sacr $1000. Then I called them. If they can still do my inspection. They said yeah come in when I went there because Wait, 15 minutes then they see i went Somewhere else they refuse to do my inspection. I also posting their picture of the lot i’m very disappointed. The way they do business. Everything is about money

I had breakdown on an upgraded part on my C-15 Caterpillar. The parts were special order only. Tito worked hard to find a solution and he had the parts fabricated! Most people tell you it will be days before they can get to you or fix the problem. Tito found a way to get my truck fixed and back on the road. I loaded a near grossed out load and made the delivery in the Tennessee mountains the next morning! You don't find shops like this anymore and I hope they are there for many years to come!
This is my second visit to this shop in a matter of 4 weeks. They are very polite and professional. Both times they did an excellent work on my trailer. They can work on anything from tire repair to trailer floor boards to engine work. Prices are very fair and are discussed with customer upfront. No hidden chargers and no surprise bills. They take all form of payments, zelle seems to be an easiest option. Highly recommended when in Jacksonville, FL
I’m extremely disappointed with GF Truck & Trailer. After speaking with the office manager, she initially told me that the road service call would cost a $75 call-out fee and $150 per hour, plus the cost of parts — which I completely understood and agreed to. She also knew exactly where my driver was located, about 30 miles from their shop. After waiting another 30 minutes, she called me back and suddenly changed the price, saying she could no longer charge $150 per hour plus the $75 call fee. Instead, she wanted to charge $1,500 for the job. I was shocked and tried to understand the reason, but it made absolutely no sense — especially since I was still expected to pay separately for the parts. Unfortunately, this is the first time I’ve been misled by online reviews. I usually have good experiences with highly rated businesses, but this time I was completely caught off guard by someone with bad intentions, trying to overcharge for a simple service. The repair — replacing both tie rods — should take no more than 30 minutes. Charging $1,500 for that is unreasonable and dishonest. If you value fair pricing and professionalism, I would not recommend this company.
I had a minor Crack on my rear end housing, I call to see if it could be repaired, she asked me to bring it in, and within an hour it was repaired and test driven. They were really understanding and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable as well and with a warranty. I would Definitely recommend their services to anyone. Ive found a new mechanic shop. I arrived there to get my Nox sensor installed.. The job took less than 1 hour and I was charged $250. Then she did a forced regen with her computer and charged another $250. I came back later. for an oil change. Just an oil change. $300. I drove the truck few hours and stopped. I noticed oil was leaking. Check engine. Their worker forgot to put the oil cap on. They compensated me for my new oil cap. I believe the owners are good people but I don't know if this was an honest mistake or deliberate. Leaving oil cap off is very critical and could have completely damaged my engine.

2021 Kenworth t680 went into limp mode and i phoned the dealer and they told me it would a take a week for them to diagnose and another week to fix. Somebody referred me to GF truck and trailer and they worked on my truck right away, they went above and beyond to find me the new part which was the DEF pump and replaced it. Guys if you break down and value your time and money go to GF truck and trailer. They have a tremendous work ethic, these guys are pros.

Very quick and professional with reasonable price. I had one of my trailer door fallen off to the ground and needed to put a new door they did finish it same day although the plan was it will be ready next day by noon, but I got text before I sleep saying that the trailer is ready.
I took my 24' cargo trailer to GF Truck and Trailer Services on Aug 16th, and it was ready for pick up on the 19th of Aug. The communication responses from Dana where very quick, and she and her staff were very polite. I had a hard time finding someone to repair the body damage and I was so glad that Dana responded back through their web site. See the work in the before and after attached pictures.

As a truck driver I do my best to avoid damaging my truck or trailer. Unfortunately I had an accident and damaged the front corner of my trailer. There was damage to the front and a hole in the roof. Dana and her team knew exactly what needed to be done and also know that if a truck sits, no one makes money. They got my trailer fixed and got me back on the road faster than expected and for a fraction of the price of other shops. I would recommend them to any and all drivers and companies who need trailer repairs in the Jacksonville area.
I was lucky to find this place. It’s very hard to find a straight forward and honest business anymore that has amazing work ethic from the top person to the mechanics. You get what you pay for.
