The people in the office on the junk side are terribly slow!!! Everytime I come I am stuck on the scale for atleast, atleast, 5 minutes. Then the people in the back directing traffic only further delay the process. I miss the old people that worked in the back. And there must be new people in the office too cause they are clueless on how to get people in and out.
I and my wife have been, doing business with TMR for years now , but 12/17/25 , I arrived at the yard to drop off about 1,000 pounds of strap metal and soon as I got to the scale!!! I was pulled off by the supervisor and Mr.Paul which is A cooperate boss, and he told me that...Tmr , didn't want my business anymore...because of A mistake or something that their employee/employees had done .and that My ticket was, overpaid or something of that sort and said that their fraud department, had caught it or something. I proceeded to question them for the information and then they said that they had tried to contact me and my wife, in which we never received a call or email or text message from them at all....53lbs of cans where paid out as 85lbs of cans ... claiming that I and my wife had committed fraud .... and that's why we were taken out of their system..we are always in a rush to get to our next destination and our other priorities on a daily basis as strappers as most people that are strappers do in and out... We are still confused about how we can be accused of being fraudulent.. when they print out and pay out the money to the customers, but just convicted us as if we were the ones who made the mistake/mistakes that we are being punished for, by A so called professional From the Cooperate Team... something is very wrong with our situation and we are not going to stop fighting against this kind of... injustice..we've been in line for 30-minutes to an hour just to do good business with the company and patiently waited for their system and services to be unlocked and unfreeze, many of times... and even had to get transferred to other operators, just to receive our tickets... and they fired a lot of their employees... I assume for stealing and or not doing their jobs because of technical difficulties within their systems/ processes or whatever... they will frame their customers..as it seems just to steal money for themselves or something else...because this is a defamation of our character .. without any merit or integrity for the law or the people.Decisions were already made against us by those people who were involved Jacksonville Florida..TMR ...Beaver Street!!! Accused and convicted Me and my Wife, like it was unbelievable and is and has been A restless few days for us both. Just trying to make sense of what we could've done wrong and we didn't even print the tickets out or even paid the money to ourselves, like what the heck is going on here! Someone did something wrong and we were straight up convicted of this issue but we are not going to let this go at all... there's An attorney office somewhere that is going to try this case ..Mr. Paul accused us of stealing money from their own inside company Wow this is really disgusting.their employees mistake/Misconduct system glitches is or as it may seem is a way for them to steal money from their business and then blame the customer base on The way they have done us .It makes us think about Mr.Paul , firing there employees because of their incompetence or whatever they are doing wrong with in their business , and I don't even work for them.Im just trying to make sense of this situation and it's probably Alot of other people that they have done this kind of thing to as well,Guilty until proven innocent..
The gentleman guiding everyone,and arranging parking for unloading was stupendous at directing traffic. The asian forklift operator did a wonderful job as well unloading the vehicles.
I arrived to the scale at 355p. The woman running the office said they close before their posted closing time of 4p, not knowing that's not how closing times work.
The buyer at this location, Travis, recently helped me maximize my profits off a huge quantity of aluminum beer cans I needed to dispose of. In addition to providing excellent customer service he also followed up with me with another phone call to make sure everything was going okay and that I was happy. The yard and scale employees here are also excellent to work with. I've been to many scrap yards over the years and I can tell that this entire crew is appreciated by their employer and they strive to do a great job everyday. So between the competitive prices and the excellent customer service I can say wholeheartedly that a lot of my scrap business will now be going to Trademark Metals.
Places like this need new management. Guy at the scale was wonderful quick in and out. The loader wonderful. Loaded a full 53footer in 10 minutes. Paperwork I waited for 57 minutes. FIFTY SEVEN minutes for scrap paperwork. Ridiculous.
I have no doubt that if you are bringing copper/brass/aluminum here that you will have a good experience and probably even get paid top dollar... however, if you have a trailer load of steel... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!
No sign at what is apparently their main site says anything about needing to go to their other location for steel (this wasn't a huge deal as it was only a few minutes extra), there is no mention of this site on google so you literallywont know unless you either already knew to go to the other site or got turned away at this location. Then I got to the other site, and the traffic to just get in was backed up into the street... I sat for 10 minutes on the steet and didn't move a single inch before I decided to go somewhere else, my time is valuable and there are WAY to many other places that take steel than to just sit at a scrap yard for a few dollars worth of steel!! I drove a few minutes away and was in and out, without a doubt in my mind, less time than I would have even made it to the scale at this place!!!
Trademark Metals in Jacksonville is by far the best option if you want top prices and a staff that is very kind very professional, the staff on the different metals if needed. It's the all Round scrap yard that scraper should give them a shot at buying g thier metals.i guarantee you can't just go once.
Worst experience with a scrap yard hands down and I deal with them all over the country. Have been trying to get a highside trailer to remove construction site steel for 4 days and still haven't gotten the first one. Absolutely ridiculous
Friendly staff and great prices for aluminum and copper. It is a bit disorganized but that’s because they have a lot going on. Overall pleasant visit and little to no wait time. Whether you have 100lb or 1000lb I would recommend coming here to recycle it
Everytime i use he shred yard it always takes more than 20 mins to get in and empty out they need to keep traffic moving most of the time i have several jobs a day and time is important.
By far the best scrap yard in Jacksonville and possibly in the state of Florida. Best prices in town, most respectful people that will always help you with grading your scrap. If you are not scraping with TMR you should give it a try. Youll never go anywhere else and thats a Promise. They even had free chick fil a one day for customers to eat!
We have been going to the scrap yard for years. Being a business owner we've had a spectacular relationship with this business until today. A guy named Garrett whom works on the non ferris side; belittled me, questioned my business by saying "are you sure you have a business", treated me like a its not 2023 but like it's the early 1800's and I'm just a slave boy working for my master. When I employ people, help my community, and is very well respected. This guy Garrett is very bad for trademark metals business. He should definitely be reprimanded and trained on how to provide adequate customer service. A person like this will surely hurt their business!

I was informed that the name of the individual was Gary not Garret; however, whatever the name of this individual is, the situation was addressed and I haven't had any more incidents with him and/or anyone at main metal. Thank you to management for taking my concerns and situation seriously.
It's a decent scrap yard it's the one I go to in Jacksonville but their process ain't the brightest I mean I don't know who starts loading semi trucks when the customers start arriving that should be done before or after preferably before customers start showing up. But other than that they're the best in town like I said they just need to figure out their loading and unloading process a little better
Little confusing when pulling in. For bulk items, go to the back in yard area. For smaller turn ins, drive under the carport area. Friendly staff, but be prepared to answer questions to get logged into the computer system. Not sure about prices, as this is my first recycling experience in Jax
They are easily the most considerate of all the scrap yards and one of the best paying as well. They get most of my business oh, and I used scrap yards almost every day of the week. Way to go!
Has great prices. Remember to call for prices on what you're going to turn in. Also before they give you your ticket make sure you tell them that you spoke to whomever so you will get the price that was quoted if you don't they will buy your stuff for cheaper than what you was quoted. Example. Talked to Ashley she quoted.$.60 a lbs on cans. Turned in my ticket without telling them I was quoted $.60 and I only got $.57. So watch your P's and Q's.
This used to be made no Recycling and I stopped going there for some reason it was years ago I went back to trademark now it's good to see the crew still working there over New Management well most of it. How to get experience the staff was very helpful. I'll be going back.
I haven't been to one of these places in years and the current process is much different than I recall and far from appealing for someone who doesn't turn in scrap metal on a regular basis.
The surface you drive on is covered with a variety of small metals, screws, and nails which could potentially damage your tires. The guy working the scale window seemed less than thrilled to be there and the overall process was quite invasive in having to provide my driver's license, phone number, employer, tag number of my personal vehicle, have my picture taken and thumb print scanned.
All this to turn in 26 pounds of old copper AC line for less than $43.00. Not a good experience at all!
Always quick in and out service and usually has the best prices on copper. Since they’ve bought main metals. Customer service in my opinion has dropped considerably. I can’t ever get anyone on the phone regardless of if you click prices, dispatcher, or operator. This annoys me to the point of not selling my scrap here. I’m in the industry where scrap is common. If you can’t talk to me and give a price; put it on your website and update it daily. Or my copper will go elsewhere.
Great company to go through. Some other companies try to steal from customers. Tmr recyling is the only one i trust. Also small and very efficient!!! Scrapper's tip: try to separate your Specialty Metals to make a lot more money!!! From one Scrapper to the next.
Called and spoke to Alex on a Monday. Got a quote on what I had. Dropped by that Saturday, Alex remembered my name immediately. Pretty cool! I spent about 25 minutes at the location, in and out no dramas. Will certainly be going back again. Thanks!
