They couldve just towed my car like a normal towing company but instead they chose to steal from my car as well. Id give them 0 stars if i could.

This company is an absolute disaster. They overcharged me, treated me like garbage, and had zero professionalism or customer care. The staff were rude, dismissive, and acted like my questions or concerns were an inconvenience to them.
I cannot stress enough: if you want to avoid being ripped off and treated horribly, do not use this company. They are greedy, careless, and clearly have no respect for their customers. Worst experience imaginable.Jan 22, 2026 -
This towing company is an absolute disgrace. They stole $350 from me, treated me with total disrespect, and acted like I was the problem for even being upset. The staff were rude, arrogant, and completely unhelpful, it felt like they were enjoying making my situation worse. If you value your money, your time, or your sanity, stay far away from this company. They are nothing but greedy, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Dealing with them was a complete nightmare, and I would never, ever recommend them to anyone.

Towed my car when I went into Walgreens, the guy on the phone didn’t want to give me the address, wanted me to wait and make an appointment to get MY vehicle back. Completely rude, acted like I was bothering him at work, my simple errand turned into a nightmare.

My only experience with Executive Towing and Recovery was today January 8th at 1:20pm when the lunatic behind the wheel of 00527 followed the same route as me from Sample road through to Lyons.
He spent the entire duration driving recklessly in a 10k lb tow truck at a consistent 25-30 above the speed limit. Glad to see their company making us all less safe.Jan 08, 2026 -
My car was towed while I am in the process of getting it registered MY NAME I just purchased this car a few weeks ago and it was registered to my apartment, and they were aware I was in the process of getting tags, etc When I tried to speak to someone,he couldn't find my car at first and then when I tried to talk to him and ask him,he didn't answer and then tried to be an asshole because I kept asking him to explain. Now,no one is answering and that is against the law in my state...the tow service must be available for calls 24/7.I read the reviews and all complaints filed against this "company"I am not a rich person so Iguess I lost my car ..they are rude and unprofessional and lied!!!

⭐ One Star – Violation of Florida Law
This towing company illegally withheld my parent’s vehicle despite being provided valid Power of Attorney and all required documentation. Under Florida Statute §715.07, a towing company is required to release a vehicle to an authorized representative once proper documentation is presented. They refused to comply.
The staff was rude, condescending, and dismissive, clearly abusing their position of power. Their refusal to follow the law forced me to call law enforcement. Only after the police arrived did they finally release the vehicle.
No one should ever have to involve the police to recover a vehicle they are legally entitled to. This company demonstrates complete disregard for Florida law and basic customer service. Avoid at all costs.Dec 12, 2025 -
I had a medical emergency and had to park illegally to run into the store. I fully acknowledge that. What I did not expect was to return in under five minutes to find my car already gone. I immediately called the number on the towing sign, but no one answered. Thankfully, a police officer happened to be nearby. After hearing what happened, he told me to go inside Walgreens to ask for their number and mentioned, “they do this all the time.” He also implied that someone may be watching the Publix lot specifically to tow as soon as a car parks.
The Walgreens employee was extremely kind and gave me the number, but I had to call three separate times before anyone responded. This added even more stress, especially since I then had to take an Uber to the tow lot, which was in a very rundown and uncomfortable area.
When I arrived, I was told they would only release the car if the credit card matched the registration. My husband and I share an account and I didn’t have the card with me. They refused to make an exception, which forced us to run across busy oncoming traffic to the CVS across the street to get cash.
The entire experience was incredibly stressful, especially considering it began with a medical emergency. While I understand parking rules exist for a reason, the way this situation was handled felt predatory and deeply unethical.Dec 04, 2025 -
I parked in the Walgreens-approved lot at Young Circle in Hollywood to shop at that Walgreens. As I returned, an Executive Towing & Recovery truck was in reverse, backed up to my car, hooked it and started to drive away. The driver (Ron) told me I had left the property. I explained I had only been in Walgreens. He asked me to get my receipt and said he would wait. I asked him not to tow while I retrieved it, and he agreed. When I returned with my receipt (time-stamped 7:49 PM), the tow truck and my car were gone.
No on-site release (“drop”) was offered, (required per Consumer Bill of Rights 2b) even though I promptly returned to provide a proof of purchase and had engaged the driver on site. I then had to take a $19 Uber to the lot and paid $185.91 to retrieve my car. I was in Hollywood visiting my husband in ICU at Kindred Hospital, so this was an especially difficult and costly experience.
I’m requesting that management review this tow (including GPS/body-cam/dispatch records, if available) and issue a refund of the tow charges. Based on City of Hollywood towing rules, when an owner is present before removal, there should be an option to pay a service/drop fee for on-site release; that did not occur here. I have attached my Walgreens receipt, time stamped picture of tow truck reversing towards my car, and tow paperwork showing the times, and I will be filing a formal dispute with the county. I appreciate a prompt, professional resolution and steps to ensure on-site releases and clear communication are consistently provided.
If there was an option for negative stars, the required one star would not appear.Dec 01, 2025 -
These people would not give me their business license number today when I paid.
Also would not view inspect my car with me upon leaving
That's their way to get out of liability damaging your car if so. Thieves in every sense of the word. What goes around comes around....Nov 18, 2025 -
This company is a complete nightmare.
Over the phone, they told us that we just needed a letter from the truck owner stating that he authorizes the truck to be picked up from the impound, and that it should be notarized. When we arrived, an employee Brian said that this wasn’t enough and that we needed to fill out a Hold Harmless Letter and have it notarized for the driver to pick up the truck. Later, another employee said we needed to fill out a completely different form—a 3rd Party Release—and also notarize it. They are blatantly wasting time and dragging things out. They are unprofessional, and it seems like they might be under the influence of drugs or something.
On top of that, while we were waiting in our car to get notarized documents, the tow truck driver walked by us with a beer, finished it, then got into the truck and drove off to work. This is Florida, where it’s illegal to drive under the influence, but the staff at this company seem completely unaware—or just don’t care—about basic laws and safety.
We finally got our truck back after 9 PM, only to find out that someone had clearly been driving it. The truck was parked in a position that a tow truck couldn’t have unloaded it into, the driver’s seat was pushed all the way back, and the A/C was blasting on full power — something our driver never does. We’ll be checking the dash camera footage, but it’s obvious they broke into the truck and used it.
Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting behavior. Stay far away from this company.Oct 26, 2025 -
Left for less than five minutes to buy 1 thing and i came back out to find my car gone!! no warning or anything!! Luis was no help at all. Super disappointed and upset

How is it possible that they take my car if I'm buying something at Walgreens I took only 5 minutes and they take my car that in a dirty business of yours it wasn't even badly parked or that kind of thing I call to find out about my car and Mr. Luis if you can tell him sir start telling me your car was bad how is it going to be bad if it's within two white lines? I have 2 cameras in my car so just because he's bored he takes my car how pathetic I don't even have fines for them to have taken my car like that

A driver with this company left his massive black truck running on our normally quiet residential street - parked right in front of my driveway — blocking me in — while sneaking around to find violations in the area to act on. Real piece of work. Blocking in a resident at 10pm leaving his truck unattended and running for more than 20 minutes. I need a tow truck to get rid of the tow truck committing a violation in my community. Incredibly unprofessional.
UPDATE: they were FIRED by our HOA.Sep 20, 2025 -
Terrible company. They tow vehicles from parking lots without clear warning signs and then demand an outrageous fee to release them. It feels more like extortion than a legitimate service.
Absolutely unacceptable and unethical behavior. Be very careful if you park anywhere near where they operate.Aug 22, 2025 -
Towing facilities legally must be open 8am-6pm or answer the phone 24 hours a day and arrive at the facility within one hour after a request for car retrieval. Yet, about 10 people have been standing outside this building in the heat all day long waiting to pay for their car back. This company either doesn’t answer the phone or answers and hangs up. The only word all of us have received is that they will either show up at 7pm or not until the next morning. This forces people into higher rates because they can’t get their car back. This isn’t just a review about getting our car towed, this company is violating Miami-Dade regulations for towing companies.

Yes, it's a business. They get people's cars at any pretense. Gated communities, parking lots, shopping malls, etc. They are the law. They have possession of your car. We have nothing else to do. They take our money and treat us like criminals. Yes, we are criminals and we have to pay it. How much? They will decide it! Is there anything we can do? No. It's a business.

I parked in a store lot in Hollywood—clearly marked, unoccupied, and with no violations—and returned 40 minutes later to find my car gone. This so-called “company” had towed it without cause. There were no signs indicating any restriction, and I did not park improperly.
Their business model thrives on predatory practices: they close after 5 p.m. and remain shut on weekends, effectively forcing your vehicle to remain in their lot longer—just to inflate the charges. This isn’t inconvenience; it’s calculated exploitation.
Chris, the individual answering the phone, is the antithesis of professionalism—rude, obstinate, and entirely lacking in basic customer service aptitude. Engaging with him is like speaking to a wall, only louder and less reasonable, 0 (zero) intelectual skills.
When I finally retrieved my car, it was damaged. Thoroughly inspect your vehicle—underneath, and the transmission, everywhere—before leaving their lot. They won’t warn you, and they won’t take responsibility.
Oh, and bring cash. They’ll charge you more for using a card. It’s not just shady—it’s systemic.
A glance through their reviews makes one thing abundantly clear: this isn’t a towing company. It’s a trap. Avoid at all costs.May 02, 2025 -
They always say that the orders are given by the office so that you pay, don't be fooled, the office doesn't tell you who to take, they tow whoever they want to get money and you dum pay.

Hey folks! Please have your vehicles inspected by a good mechanic after being towed by this company. They towed my AWD vehicle (clearly marked on the back under the model name mind you) by dragging the rear tires on the ground for over 10 miles. The car was a total loss on the insurance end. Lost a perfectly functioning car because of these guys. Insurance and auto body estimated over $7.5k in damages or more.
While waiting for my car keys someone else was coming up to complain about a tire being blown out. They also said it looked like it had been dragged on the blown out tire for some distance. Seriously have your vehicles checked out. This company cannot be trusted to tow your vehicle properly.Feb 01, 2025 -
Horrible workers there. No communication. Blocked my phone had to call off a different phone to make sure the car was there but they tried to get me to wait past 10am because the price goes up more, luckily I just went there anyway. Left my ID I called multiple times said they didn’t have it. Called again of course of a different phone and they said they have it.
I don’t understand how they call themselves a business.Jan 29, 2025 -
Tried to tow my car and the only reason it wasn’t was because the driver extorted me for $100 cash with no invoice provided. That’s not even mentioning the fact that he was towing my car with the drive wheels dragging on the pavement, causing damage to my transmission. Expect a lawsuit and a formal complaint to the police department.

I would give negative stars if I could. Completely tried to screw Over my friend by placing a fake lean fee on his tow and refusing to release it when the car was legally in his name with insurance and registration. In the end, they charged $817 to release it. After I did some research, he filed complaints with the Florida state Attorney General‘s office, consumer affairs, the Broward County, consumer affairs, and legal aid for seniors. While he did get a complete refund, they never one time admitted that what they did broke several Florida statutes and they are now being investigated by Broward County code enforcement. Hopefully that will be charged the full $20,000 fine that they are capable of enforcing.
I am adding this because I found out two days ago executive towing and recovery were operating from January 1, 2024 to September 12, 2024 without a towing license. If they towed your car that’s theft and they owe you a refund. Contact Broward County Consumer Protection and file a complaint. If you want to call, ask for Freddie Raymond in complaints.Oct 03, 2024 -
I believe all these Tow companies get kickbacks from communities, I don't almost believe it.I do believe it. It's a racket. I know the tow laws because I had to fight a company before. One, in the community I was towed from there was NO SIGN anywhere in the community that said, unsure cars sill be towed. A SIGN MUST BE DISPLAYED IN THE COMMUNITY. I took Pictures throughout the community at the front entrance, back entrance, pool area and every street there was. No tow sign posted!! Legally, they cannot tell your car if there's no sign posted anywhere in a community or in front of a spot if you're in a private area.

Disgusting company. Completely awful through and through. I was visiting a friend for a dinner party at their apartment complex. I had given them my license plate to register my car for visitor parking, which they did. My car was registered for the whole night. I leave the party before 11pm and my car is nowhere to be found. I look around the complex and find the number of this company for towing. I call 3 times, no answer on any of them. At this point, I am not sure if my car was towed or stolen. I have no clue where my car is but I catch a ride to this place. Very gross and worn out facility. However I see my car in the back lot. I go inside and up to the window. There is no one there. I knock and pound on the window for about 15mins, still nothing. It is midnight and I am an hour from home so I need my car back. Finally, the guy who was out front of the building smoking weed in his car comes inside. Turns out he is the only employee. He is clearly very high. He tells me that since my car is registered to a family member and not myself, I cannot pick it up no matter what. He tells me that my family member will need to come get it for me, or they can mail me notarized documents releasing the car. I told them I had no family within 5 hours of their location, they said that it does not matter. After asking to speak to the manager on the phone and about 15 minutes of conversation, he finally reveals that they will also accept notarized documents online. Go figure, turns out that there is actually a solution. I acknowledge that this is FL law, but they were so unwilling to offer any realistic solution and just wanted to keep my car as long as possible so that I owed them more. I guarantee they were hoping I would just go home and try again a different day, then give me a higher bill. Then it turns out that they will only accept cash from me. So I have to go to an ATM at 1am. I finally get all of the documents I need, but the worker is so high that it takes him almost 30 mins to find copy paper, print the document I emailed him, and tell me that it was accepted. He wouldn't even respond to me trying to talk to him through the window. Finally got my car released at 1:30am after battling with these people for 3hrs and giving them $160. All over them towing a car that was rightfully parked in a visitor spot. These are awful people who prowl at night and tow cars just to stay afloat. Awful location and awful people working there. Owner should really monitor his employees. I think for the 3hrs I was here, the employee was smoking weed out front for half of it. I hope none of you get your car towed by this company or ever have to deal with anyone who works here. I never write Google reviews but my experience here was so awful I had to. If I could give negative stars I would.

My car was towed for parking in a spot that was not assigned to me, I was not upset about that but everything that took place after that was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. First of we caught the driver before he ever exited the complex, he told us to pay him $250 in cash to drop the car or pay $250 when I get to the tow yard. I decided not to give the driver cash because he looked very much high on type of drugs. When I arrived to the tow yard me and my boyfriend were confronted by the driver. He started yelling at us saying that my tag was not assigned to my car, he started to approach my boyfriend and threatened to kill him. Once inside the female didn’t even let me speak before asking did we threaten her driver with a gun… she was super rude and could not pull up the tow slip, reason being the driver wrote down the WRONG TAG…. I paid the money to get my car released only to find out my front bumper was damaged in the process. HOLLYWOOD POLICE had to respond because I was afraid for my life at this place... most UNPROFESSIONAL, NASTY, RUDE company I've ever done business with. Avoid this place at all cost. I’m surprised none of these employees have gotten hurt with the amount of threats the constantly spew to customers. The owner needs to do better

I was throwing away garbage in my townhome community and was almost side swiped by the tow truck driver . He was having difficulty hooking a car up (was positioned in a parking space). The driver got out of the truck shaking his head and saying obscenities. I was shocked. Quite unprofessional for a leisurely Saturday afternoon.

These guys put my truck on the rack while it was in my driveway and said that a neighbor called them and said I was illegally parking in MY DRIVEWAY with my parking permit VISIBLE IN MY WINDSHIELD! When i confronted Rodriguez he said I had to pay him $150 to drop my truck because he already lifted it. All this after he acknowledged my valid parking permit. I called the cops and he dropped my truck then sped out of my neighborhood. These guys are crooks and should be in jail!

Friday morning your company towed my car by mistake from my apartment complex, Azure Villas. After contact the leasing office they told me I could pick up my car from your location in Hollywood. By Friday afternoon I had my car and have been parked since. Yesterday afternoon I drove my car and it started to shake. I have been trying to contact you guys since but no response. This morning at 8am I called again hoping I would get someone. Once again no one picked up and the other line the voice-mail is still full. I texted one number hoping to get a reply but I guess it's a landline. Finally someone called me back by the base of Carl. Carl told me to go look at the car and tell him if I see any damage. I said to him how and were exactly am I or would I be looking for the damage. He got very rude with me. I told him I'm looking at my car now what should I be looking for? I told him my car was perfectly fine and had no issues until you guys towed the car. I request to speak to a manager and he said no and to call back Monday after 10am. I said that's now going to be another day of waiting for someone to document and address this issue. This needs to be addressed today and to have a manager call me. He said there is nothing he can do and to call Monday and hung up on me. He didn't even have the decency to take my name or number down. I had to call back and ask him what's the name of the nanager. This is poor poor customer service. My car is now damaged and I am being treated like the bad person. This is unexceptable and I need answers. Someone needs to address this issue immediately. I can't even drive my car.
