Very helpful on the scale! Two guys in the front helped me separate all my metals so I can get the most out of what I got, took the same amount to the place down the street and got only 30$, went to best recycling today and they separated everything for me and I made 200$!!! Really recommend this spot
One of the worst scrap yards in the area. Check your weight ask questions before you actually scrap your merchandise there. They will charge you for anything and everything bad communication, rude people they’re not fair did , give you the lowest price. So just make sure you do your homework and or stop using these people.
Thieves. They rip you off with prices and weight. Checked the weight and off over 10 pounds. I will never go back. Now I see why there was nobody there. Then the attitude and tough guy attitude to top it off.
Ripped me off so bad, they paid 1/3rd the value that we should have received. The new ownership has changed to straight up robbery from the people that really need it! I had a full sized pickup truck with heavy duty shocks squatting down under the load of aluminum shutters as well as alternators air conditioners copper and more, the pay out was less than 33% of what it should have been! They cheat people, they used to be fair when you got a half dollar doing business with them, those that have been around know what I mean! Find anywhere else to do business with, I will never be back and I will tell all that will listen! It’s hard enough for poorer people in these times without crooks taking advantage of them!
I did my research online first to see what i should be getting for aluminum alloy wheels and they were off by a couple of cents per lb which is more then acceptable in my opinion.
Every 3 months for the past 15 years I have made a recycling run for my business. Usually I get about $100.00 for the load. Since the new owners took over the value of the load has slipped all the way down to $35.00? Yesterday I checked online, the going rate for scrap aluminum, and now I understand what’s going on. The new owners pay so far under what the market rate is, they are plain and simply stealing from there customers. In my case this pocket money. But a lot of their customers this is their livelihood. They steal from the poor. This is the lowest form of human I know. Example Cast Aluminum they pay 0.100 market rate is 0.300 Aluminum Radiator scarp they pay 0.0800 market rate is 0.300.
Go somewhere else and do not get ripped off.
My first time visiting this place. It was as I expected a scrap yard to be. The cashier was very nice. The service in the yard was normal to my expectations. I feel I got a decent amount of money for what I dropped off. I'll continue to use this yard as my goto scrap drop off.
It was a Great place till they got new people working there, i pulled up an clearly asked the price for my aluminum, i was told 30cents a pound, steel was 1cent compared down a couple blocks 4cent, my usual place was closed today so i decided to just unload there. I was yelled at an told im taking two scales up, when im 1st there i dont know why the lazy big guy was getting upset with me, anyway i asked for my receipt an went on my way, the y paid me 22cents a pound for my aluminium an, bottom line is they are CHEATING you out your MONEY! Go to N.A.R you will not be CHEATED!
